I had the worst experience at Findlay Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The Salesman (Rick) doesn't know how to communicate what’s so ever. The details about the vehicle were incorrect. When I brought it to his attention, he was not willing to work with me on the price of the vehicle. I explained that I was still interested and if anything changes on the price to please contact me (Which he never did). They ended up lowering the price of vehicle so I called back to see the availability. I spoke with another Salesman (Nick) and he was horrible if not worse. Which he said it was available and that he’ll let Rick know so he could call me back. He tried to say the vehicle had no issues and the best deal which in fact it wasn’t It had some cosmetic issues and was put up differently online so the price would look reasonable. Rick never called me back and when I called to just come buy the vehicle he said it sold. Which later found out it didn’t. I was ready to purchase the vehicle on the spot and was pre-approved by my bank. I made it so simple for them and it wasn’t necessary to be treated like that. I worked at a Dealership for two years in Service department and know what service is suppose to be like. This dealerships Sales department had no customer service.

My wife and I went in to buy a new 2018 Jeep Compass Limited that was part of the previous years inventory. We sat down with Brittney and told her exactly what we were looking at, and that we wanted to know what the best price we could get on it would be. They gave us a price that was a considerable amount under the sticker price. I was actually surprised, as we had been looking at other vehicles at other dealerships, and they were asking way more for the same year and model. The price they gave us was really good, but it wasn't enough for us to not wait and see if someone could counter offer. I did tell them that if we were to save a little more on it, that we would take it today, and they worked with us. They actually worked with us. I was kind of in shock. It seems rare to find a dealership that is actually willing to work with you rather than just take you for all you've got. So I was very impressed by the ethics and model that they use. They want the customers to actually walk out the door happy about their purchase. Brittney was great in helping us, and she made sure to get us the best deal possible. We will be seeking her out when we look to get our next Jeep. We then went in with Tom in finance. I knew that I wanted an extended warranty, as Jeep only offers a 3yr/36k m bumper to bumper, and 5yr/60k m powertrain warranty. That is a very weak warranty considering how long cars can stay on the road these days. This is from Jeep, not from the dealership. Tom went over all the options of the available extended warranties. He was very knowledgeable, and not pushy about them. We ended up getting a good deal on the warranty, and I left the office feeling confident that we were treated fair. I was very impressed with the dealership and the staff. I think more dealerships in the area need to follow this customer first business model. If you're looking to buy a car in the Findlay area, start here. Let them give you a good experience so that you know how it SHOULD feel when you are buying a car.

Horrible service bought a truck there. Spent lots of money with them and within 4,000 miles of driving it all 6 of my studs broke and my tire came off. They were the last ones to rotate the tires. I ordered a new rim through them since when my tire came off it punctured hole in the rim. They ordered new rim and when new rim came in it was a different color. I’m disgusted. My insurance agent told me that I’m lucky I didn’t get hurt or even kill somebody with that tire coming off and me not being on a busy road. He also said if I would have gotten into a accident they would be going back to the dealership and blaming them even thought the dealership told me there not responsible. Even though they were the last ones to rotate my tires.

Adam is great. I have an 07 charger r/t when I bought it from a little dealer in Salem they had dropped a low mile motor in it and did a nice paint job and rims. But there were many hidden things wrong that have reared their ugly heads as time passed. First was the transmission. That happened a year or 2 ago. After checking prices at a few different shops I decided to just go with the dealership because I was getting now parts with a 2 year warranty And the labor cost was comparable. They did a full rundown at the time of things that needed to be done. He advised on stuff that might be able to wait on. Everything has been spot on and I have done the work as it came up. This time it was the brakes. They were grinding. I need my car for work so he accommodated to have me bring it in the next morning as it was a Friday evening, and I needed my car by Monday for work. The price was about the same as a local tire shop but I was getting brand parts not aftermarket by going through the dealership. I have to say Working with Findlay and Adam is the best of both worlds. You get the service and parts that only a dealership can offer, but at at price that is fair and very close to what you pay by going with another shop.

I had been looking for a very specific vehicle and I just happened to stumble across that vehicle at this dealership. The truck was in great condition and the price was about $5,000 to $6000 less than the exact same truck locally. I drove 3 1/2 hours to get this truck and it was well worth it. The whole process went seamlessly. Thank you Ryan(sales) and Rich in finance. Update: I am still happy with my truck and the price at which I got it. However, I would not expect any type of customer service after the sale. I have been inquiring about the second key for over a month now and just now got the same generic response I got when I was in the dealership, which tells me they did not look or try to track it down at all. Also, I sent a friend in to get a truck as well. So this is two $30,000 trucks in the matter of one week and they did not offer any type incentive or even a thanks.

The buying experience was very low pressure... no pressure actually. Our salesman (Jeremy) was very nice as was the gentleman in Finance. We did show up an hour before they closed, coming from 2 hours away. We weren’t rushed; however they definitely wanted to get out of there on a Friday. We love the car and it’s in overall great condition, but there were some minor things I feel like the dealership should have fixed/replaced prior to selling (wiper blades were basically falling apart, brakes are squeaky). Overall I would recommend this dealership and would likely buy from again.

Avoid these guys and take the trip to Tom Ahl in Lima. I had an issue with my suspension while the car was still under warranty. They " looked over" the suspension systems and couldn't find what was wrong after around two hours. They also didn't alert me to a recall on my fuel pump modulator. Instead decided to go to Tom Ahl and they found the issue in about an hour and had it fixed even quicker and they also took care of the recall issue without even having to ask. Make the trip to Lima for the service alone...not sure Findlay is very honest about what they are doing in their service department

My wife looked up a Dodge dealer and we were fortunate enough that it was Findlay Chrysler Dodge. Pat was the man that answered the phone in the service department he said no problem. Pat asked if we had AAA and yes we had CAA so he said if we could get it towed to him that he would help us out. This all happened late Friday afternoon 23rd. Overall a good experience. Computer issues cost us an extra hour or so at the dealership. Everyone we dealt with were nice and accommodating. If we had to list a complaint it would be the fact that when the dealership fueled up the vehicle they only supplied half a tank. I feel like all the fluids should be full when you drive off the lot. Prior to us getting to test drive the vehicle it was being driven by a manager and/or their spouse so it was never cleaned /detailed before we took possession. This was the third vehicle I've purchased from this dealership, although it is now under different ownership, and would be likely to consider them in the future.

I had the most frustrating, unenjoyable car buying experience at Findlay Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I purchased a low mileage vehicle which was described by the salesman (Kevin) as being in "perfect shape" and "babied." Turns out, it had a significant amount of problems including problems with the drive train, wheels, and tires. I am now sinking over $1,500 into a vehicle I've owned less than a month. When you purchase a low mileage used vehicle from a dealer, you'd like to think that it has been inspected and serviced. But not the case at Findlay Chrysler! In my opinion, they are just looking to squeeze as much profit out of the transaction as possible and don't care about ensuring the car is serviced and safe for their customers. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. While some folks I interacted with were polite and respectful (Kane, in particular, was friendly), I found Kevin (salesman) and Pat (service) to be both condescending and rude. It's impossible to get a straight answer to a question from either of them, and they will make you feel like an a major inconvenience. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but it sure doesn't take much effort to (at least pretend) to be polite to others. Of course, your experience may vary. Overall, I sincerely hope others have better experiences at this dealership. However, I can't recommend this dealership and they have lost my business permanently. Edit: Well in response to the Owner (below), I called the dealership and left a message for Jeff. Been over a week and no return phone call. I suppose this optimizes my experience with the dealer. Still super bummed out and disappointed.

Finally Thursday I get a apt set up to look at the truck Saturday morning. So I drive an hour to findlay to look at the truck, arrive at the dealership and they tell me it's sold. From start to finish a horrible experience. Prices do look good, but good luck dealing with them.

Know before you go! Contacted the internet sales manager yesterday about 4:30pm to inquire about the availability of a vehicle. He checked and said it was available for a test drive today, and I made an appointment for 2pm. Never bothered to mention someone was coming in to look at it that night, or I would have made the trip yesterday evening. I took time off today and drove an hour one way only to be told when I got there that they sold the vehicle last evening. They asked if I got their e-mails to say they sold it; I would expect a phone call for something of that nature, to ensure a person didn’t waste his/her time. The salesperson then tried to begin going through their other vehicles. I explained to her that I was capable of checking their website and seeing if there was anything else in their inventory I wanted, which I did before I came, and there was not. I checked when I got home, they didn’t even send the first e-mail until 10am this morning, when I was already out the door, having planned my day around the trip up there. They sent an e-mail 5 minutes before my appointment time to confirm our visit to “view a selection of Wranglers” (no, I inquired about a specific ONE), then I got one two hours after I left the dealership thanking me for coming and letting them help me.... help me do what, waste an entire day? They did “help with vehicle buying decisions” in that I’ve decided I won’t look to purchase there.

I purchased a preowned 2016 Platinum Escalade from this dealer. I found the vehicle on 10/14/2019 Corey contacted me. I advised I was already preapproved through Capital One and inquired on how I can place a hold the vehicle, so no one would buy it. Took my jeep in for 4 wheel drive service light, replaced computer that was 600 dollars. Two weeks later light comes on again this time they say transfer case around 3 grand. Fixed for a week light comes on again this time they said it was a sensor in transfer case want another 800 bucks. So after 4 grand my jeep still isn't fixed. Think they either do that to try get you to trade in or keep you coming back or they don't know what they are doing. I'll do all my business at reineke jeep in North Baltimore from now on. He even printed it off for me when I requested it. The dealership itself was very clean and accommodating- lots of good snacks and beverages. When it came time to talk about extended warranty, Tom asked me some questions and took time to look at several options to find one that seemed to make sense for my situation. I felt like I was getting a good package, and Tom also did not try to pressure me into buying anything. The entire process was smooth and painless. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. My previous experiences at dealerships have not been positive, so I was taking a risk on this one. I came away feeling really good about the people I had dealt with. If I could give ZERO stars I absolutely would, while our salesmen Jerome seemed to be a stand up guy everything else with my experience with them has been absolutely ridiculous!! Bought a 2011 Jeep Patriot with a extended Powertrain plus warranty, which they told us and I quote “will cover everything under the hood and anything under the Jeeps body minus brakes and tires.” Before I had even made the first months payment I had to pay $1200 out of pocket because the rear upper control arms and rear toe links needed to be replaced. At this point I was told that The warranty only covered “engine and transmission parts” now only 4 payments into this suddenly the Jeep just shuts off while driving. We call them and tell them what’s going on, they say they will come pick it up since our warranty covers tows. They call and tell us the problem is a “crankshaft senor, emission hose and gas cap” everything gets “fixed” go to pick it up now the gas gauge doesn’t work and they charged me $160 for the tow that was supposedly under warranty for a total bill of over $800 so 4 payments in and I’ve already sank $2000 into this Jeep all out of pocket...now on the way home from picking up the Jeep the check engine light comes on so stop at local Ford dealership to scan the code and it reads gas gauge circuit wire issue...I had just bought a 2014 F350 from Derrow in Montpelier a little over 2 years ago with absolutely ZERO issues so I figured I would go to one of their family dealerships, lesson learned I will never do business with these con artists again!! I was lied to multiple times, pushed into buying a warranty that doesn’t cover anything, offered no help and basically blown off!!!
