My very first visit to dealership with my truck and was treated great. Service desk person went above and beyond. I was looking for a place to get my truck service and I have found it. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience buying our suv at Coughlin Marysville GM. Our salesman Joe Ickes was the best. Highly recommend !!!!

I had a great experience buying my dream car at Coughlin Marysville GM recently! I flew out from CA to see a car I've always wanted, and Coughlin Marysville was quite accommodating. Not only did I get a great deal, but they were generous enough to both pick me up and drop me off at the airport. I can't say enough about the service I received, especially from Tara and Dutch. Many, many, thanks!

Tracy Kiggins

Just got my 2nd Grand Cherokee from Coughlin Marysville. Awesome experiences both times, thanks to Kendall and Randy! Fun to work with and no pressure, that's why we came back! Thank you!

Awesome people. All around pleasant experience

The most dishonest dealership I have ever dealt with. First falsely advertise a truck with a plow, even show picture's with plow, and describe it in the verbeage. Then say it does not come with plow for advertised price. 2 days later call me back and agree to sell truck with the plow for an agreed upon price with the plow, only to find out they put a different plow on it, that was much cheaper. I had purchased two trucks here before without problems, not sure I would ever recommend them again. Again another untruth! There was no picture involved to make a mistake. He told me you only had one plow to offer, and It was the same one that was originally on the truck, before it was removed to sell on another truck. I have emails to back all this up!

What a great experience it was purchasing a vehicle from Joe Ickes and his manager Brent. They both went above and beyond to help both my husband and myself and I highly recommend them !

I recently had my radio reprogrammed here and the staff was excellent. Everyone was great and handled everything just as I had hoped. Unfortunately I was charged a different price than what I was told over the phone, but the manager Scott was fantastic in getting this resolved and couldn't have been nicer. The customer service is enough to make me want to return for any more issues I have with my car!

Patricia C

Great service & very professional! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience! My salesperson, Kevin was knowledgeable and friendly. Didn't feel pressured at all. I would definitely return for my next vehicle!

I bought a truck and worked with Jim Thompson at the Marysville store. Totally a fun, easy going guy who will do whatever you need. I enjoyed going in just to look around and deal with him. I was on the fence and looked at trucks for 4 weeks. He let me test drive 5 trucks and keep 2 overnight. He even brought 2 trucks from the Newark location to test drive. After the sale, he kept in contact to make sure everything was satisfactory. Highly recommend.

Being in the service industry and seeing that less and less businesses provide adequate service these days, it is promising to have great experience with Coughlin Marysville Dealership, I bought new Cadillac Escalade ESV and I love it , Tony salesman was very nice and tried his best to provide all the answers to my questions and Jim Sales manager was accommodating as well with all the requests. Thank you Coughlin Marysville GM Armen O .

I hate to assume the sales side of Coughlin is run as poorly as the service side, but I'll never buy a car there to find out. I submitted an online service request and received a call stating the repair wouldn't be covered under warranty. I stopped in (it's on my way home from work) to get confirmation, as it seemed like a problem that should be covered. Again was told it's not covered, it will be approximately $375 for labor plus parts to fix it. I went home, chatted with Chevrolet who confirmed that it is covered under a warranty that is remaining for ~5 more years/~50k more miles and gave me a case number to give to Coughlin. I went back and they weren't able to look up the number yet, but said they'd call first thing in the morning. Two business days later still no call, but I stopped on my way home and once again (after a long wait in the service area) was unable to be helped. Nobody was there who can look up case numbers. This time there wasn't even a vain attempt at customer service, just a mildly rude "I can't look those up".

Great Sales Did not want to make 4 hour drive. Tahoe is being delivered to me. Thanks Chase

Someone put the stars in for me, it wasn't me!!! I would of never gave 5 stars!!! My experience with them and the maintenance department was not professional at all. Their maintenance department you might say thought I was a car dumb woman with a problem on a truck I had for not even 2 months, they looked at it 3 times, still couldn't figure out the problem, he told me as we were sitting in Park the truck had a miss and his response WAS to bring it back a fourth time that he would have to take out my passenger side seat.... Seriously now!! So the proposition they gave me was to keep a truck with issues that they had no idea what the problem was or a New truck they had out there no other option at all just that truck, pay the difference, payment went up and never gave me none of my discounts!!! I will NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND I HAVE 2 TRUCKS I BOUGHT FROM THEM THAT I'M PAYING ON. I WISH I WOULD OF SHOPPED AROUND BUT A FRIEND WORKED THERE THOUGHT I WAS IN GOOD HANDS!!!! MISTAKE!!! BIG BIG MISTAKE!!!

Mike Walsh

BEWARE: WONT STAND BY THEIR OWN ONLINE ADVERTISED PRICES. Their website had a truck on sale for $35k, when I showed up they proceeded to tell me that $3k of those rebates listed online were only for customers with existing leases, even though none of the rebates that were listed were even worth $3k or said one word about existing leases. That night they told me that I could get the truck for $38,000 before taxes. The following morning they quickly bumped that price up to $40,000.00. They were unable to honor their own advertised price, the salesmen proceeded to tell me that he could not control how their trucks were priced or advertised and wouldn't honor the online price. They did not want to take any additional money of the MSRP and acted like the factory/manufacturer credits were coming out of their own pocket. Either they weren't very good at math or they were trying to pull a fast one. Buyer beware.

Shannon Cassels

Very dissatisfied with service department will possibly change review when I have finally spoken to someone and see what they will do to fix problem they created such as replacing parts using the wrong size and bolts which is now costing me money to have fixed.

Cliff Wright

Wasn't at all impressed with the service department. Didnt properly install part or completely diagnose the issue. Will be making the longer trip to Columbus for my Chevrolet service needs.

I went in today not knowing my options since i do not have much credit at all i wasnt expecting anything. i was working with Michael Chapa. he was very helpful and truly wanted to help me out. well he told me what my options were and got me approved for a 2005 honda civic. its in great shape. i will definitly recommend them to anyone. they all were very great! :)

Very friendly and helpful, will do everything in their power to get you approved for financing. Excellent experience

Had my Corvette Z06 serviced at Coughlins in preparation for a track day the next week. I trusted their inspection sheet that they do complimentary with the oil change. They signed off on all tires being in great shape. I took the car back home and was flushing the brake system and found both my front tires had cords showing on the inside due to camber wear. Disappointed in the fact that their "inspection" sheet is a gimmick and nothing more than something they just check the boxes on. My mistake for trusting a dealership, that trust put my well being in jeapordy if I had went to the track with cords showing on both fronts. Lessons learned. I'll be doing my own service from here on out.

Angelique Kimberling

I got a great car for a great price. I did have to wait a week to have the maintenance done, though.

These guys are all very nice, helpful. They took my 2008 GMC Sierra 3500 dual wheel truck in on trade, gave me the deal I wanted, and I drove away in my 2015 Chevy 2500 w Duramax/Allison combo. In the dog-eat-dog world of car and truck sales, Paul, Dutch, Jim and Sean are stand up guys. C Allen

Looks like the Marysville Coughlin has sucked for over a year! Called them on same issue they told first owner fixed on computer board for fuse's. Same exact issue appeared and Marysville dealership lied and stated they never had issue. Not true, Pataskala Coughlin confirmed they never fixed properly. Total bull, arrogant and incompetent. . . .

Kimberly Michalski

These folks treated us great. We purchased my brand new vehicle from them because they promptly replied to my initial email inquiry as well as follow-up emails and phone calls and offered us a better price than did Tobin.

I was sold a truck with a bad transmission. They either knew about it and sold it to me without disclosing the information, or they didn't do a legit inspection of the truck before putting it on the lot. I noticed the problem within a few days and now they are dragging their feet on a replacement...for months now. They are sticking with the "sold as is" line. DO NOT buy anything from this dealership or you'll regret it!!

Cindy Conner

I bought a car at Coughlin. Salesman was helpful and friendly but the dealership isn't very customer friendly. The car I bought was on empty. When I asked for gas, they weren't allowed to give me any. What a crock! I asked for a second key. Was told that they'd look for one. It's been over a week and still no key. I had to go to the DMV to get the title for my trade in. The woman at the DMV was upset that Coughlin made me pay $16 for my title when Coughlin could've done it electronically and only cost them $5. Then my trade in, I was given less than half of what they're selling it for. What a rip off!!! Next vehicle I buy will be a more customer friendly dealership. I know of one that gives oil changes and tire rotation for life. This dealership wouldn't even give me a second key or a quarter tank of gas. What are you suppose to do if you lose or misplace your key?

On 9/29/16 my husband R. Roe took his car in for a defective and unsafe oil leak under warranty. They falsely said it was fixed and released it. The entire pan of oil leaked on 10/3/16 in our newly-concreted driveway and ruined 3 foot by 3 foot section. They were embarrassed and said to bring it in right away this afternoon and would work on it. My husband is a tournament fisherman and we were going to haul his bass boat to Lake Norman tomorrow in North Carolina for five days. We brought the truck in a second time and they again falsely claim they fixed it. My husband brought it home at 6 pm tonight and it leaked an entire pan of oil again in another 3x3 foot section of our new driveway. They left us no time to take it to a better dealership to fix it given the time of night. We went back and talked to the young man at the service counter. He said the service manager left. He got the GM - Tom M who came out after several minutes and said there was nothing he could do to help us with getting on our trip. They would try to fix it a 3rd time tomorrow, but we needed to leave for our trip at 5 am. He would not offer us a rental, and also said he had no truck with tow and we could not take anything out of state (we were going to NC for 5 days) - six hours away. There was a big sign behind the desk that said they'd get customers rental cars and another sign calling them the GM Giant. I told Tom he was leaving us no option but to recoup our vacation costs (since we prepaid our $1500 plus cottage with no right of refund) in small claims court. We also had the expense of finding a rental car (this late in the game) that had a tow package and which could tow a large bass boat. We would not be able to take our trip tomorrow and would miss the main events we were traveling for in NC tomorrow as well. He said we made a threat to him about court and he did not have to take that CRAP. he was not going to help us if we made threats (again we said we'd have to seek remedy in court....not much of a threat). Actually, going to court is a legal right when a dealership fails to honor a legal warranty. We asked Tom who was higher than him since we were in shock he used a profanity in front of other customers and us, and he said he was the highest person in the Coughlin Automotive Group and that he runs the whole place. A kind worker later gave us the name of 2 senior people in the Group who are high above Tom and who we will contact in addition to the Attorney General's Office regarding the unsafe nature of the vehicle and our concern for public welfare. They released the car twice in an unsafe condition knowing we were planning to go on a 6-hour trip - the engine could have locked without oil and caused a fatal accident situation to us and others. I asked for the service reports from both visits and was stunned to see the same tech worked on the car both days. I asked if this was unusual since the tech got it wrong the first time. They told me it was their policy that the same tech had to work on the car the second time - which explains why it still is unsafe and not fixed. We also forfeited VIP pre-race weekend event tickets this week for Toyota Racing Friends and Family Charlotte Motor Speedway events as special guests of the Edwards and Busch families, since we do not have a safe vehicle for our trip to NC tomorrow. My husband had a serious medical procedure under anesthesia yesterday at Riverside Methodist, and the incidents today have worsened his ongoing condition. Man in the store slipped us his # to be witness since he could not believe Tom the GM's reaction and no accountability for failed repairs - and for Tom shouting at us he was not taking this CRAP when we said we had no recourse except small claims since he refused to do anything for us. The Coughlin website represents honest, thorough service work and technicians who get it right, the first time. We also lost the value of two work vacation days (Mon and Tues) preparing for a moot trip. They refused to give me report for the 3rd failed service.

Shopping for a vehicle should never be a lot of work, Coughlin did me right when I bought my car from them with no pressure sales tactics, customer service that leaves other dealerships ashamed and pricing that gets you in the car you want.

Norbert Carroll

Joe was great. Financing very smooth.

Diane McNeill

We bought Chevrolet Volt from Julie McNeill. She was very knowledgeable, proficient and was truly amazed how fast all the paperwork got completed. Everything was ready for our approval. Great, excellent job Julie. PS We will purchasing again in the future, we are probably will purchase another Volt.

Courtney Rausch

This dealership is a joke. They flat out lied to me and it resulted in me losing my car poor customer service. Don't get a car from them. Codey Tevis lied and is a horrible sales person.

Great service

joseph gerard

Great group of people in the Service Department. Always know you by name and honest. Only reason it's not 5 stars is everytime I'm there the coffee is gone or tar

randy trott

Service was fast and easy! Mac is great and car was done right on time

Cindy Hammond

Very friendly. Quick and efficient service!

As I said before they keep deleting this. I would rather have my testicle rotated and tortioned than to rather deal with these ignorant people at this location. I was working with a salesperson and I wont mention names because the last one got deleted... On a Silverado. Absolutely crazy what they were trying to do. I went to Chesrown and got a great deal and did not have to have my Twig and Berries constantly kicked to get what I wanted. It was like they took my lower extremities and put them in a meat grinder and working with Toma was about the worse thing that ever happened in my life. I would rather smack my sack against a hive of killer bees than to do this again.... Thanks again I love my new Silverado... from Chesrown and Jim Thompson!

Robin Lott

Always good service

Basic oil change, tire rotation and service inspection, was performed in a reasonable amount of time. I don't mind waiting a little longer for a good quality service interval,

Rude and incompetent. The "gentleman" who took my car when I came in was standoffish, but thought maybe he didn't have his coffee. When I picked the car up, he was flat out rude and kept interrupting. Apparently the guy who orders the parts dropped the ball when ordering parts. I received two emails reminding me of my appointments and the day of the appointment, a call that they don't have my part! They couldn't have called earlier? This is very poor customer service. I had two surveys and we called the number on the survey only to be told the man listed know one knew who he was or if he worked there. Yet he called us, once, no message. Just way to incompetent for my taste. Will get my customer service some place else and will buy my cars somewhere else

Don GRIFFIN

The Service Manager and staff are knowledgeable. helpful and very pleasant.

Wasn't too impressed. Customer service could have been a little bit better! The car we were looking at was WAY over priced for the condition it was in..I wouldn't go back.

Every time I take one of my 3 GM vehicles to Coughlin I feel I am treated fair and they respect what I am telling them. Being a car can't tell you what there problem is, it has taken a couple of try's but the problem ends up getting fixed. For those of you that have rated this dealership poorly. Try going to the Columbus dealers where it is all about the numbers. I have never gotten that at Coughlin and if I did I am confident that it would be fixed.

Joe Maggard

Mac is awesome ...staff did a great job. Mac treats everyone as if they were a guest and not just a customer...appreciate his sincerity on getting the service right !!!

David Daniels

Will never go back to that dealership.went in for a tire rotation and oil change on my Silverado few yrs ago.had coupon for it.noticed tires weren't rotated.questioned them about.said I had to request the rotation.request?when it said right on the coupon.they never even tried to make it right.so guess what?I am getting my new 2016 Malibu in July.guess who is not getting my sale?

Doug Lowe II

Worst place to get service they ran a diagnostic on my truck and then my remote start didn’t work immediately after and they wanted to me to pay another diagnostic and labor cost to fix it

Jason Smith

I have only dealt with service department, but I try to avoid ever going there. I had an 8:00AM appointment for something simple on my 2011 GMC Sierra and at 4:30P, still no phone call that it was done. Terrible customer servic.

Oil change, very polite waited on car in comfortable area, took less than an hour and my car was washed and shiny when done great job

I went to purchase a Chevy Colorado from Coughlin last fall, and even though I had to go to another dealership because they didn't have the exact one I wanted in stock, they were still very friendly and professional. Even though I did not purchase from them, I do take my truck there to have it serviced and so far, I've not had a single bad experience. I'm looking forward to working with Coughlin Chevy for years to come.

Dan Frisby

We went to Coughlin's just to gather information and to look at the inventory. However, we found a vehicle we liked and ended up buying a Ram. We appreciated that they were so helpful, friendly, informative, and did not pressure us, even though they knew we had not planned to buy at that time. We would highly recommend this location for their professional treatment of customers.

Found a vehicle on autotrader and contacted Julie McNeill regarding it. She was very friendly and very pleasant to work with. I'm usually hesitant to visit dealers due to not wanting to be "pushed" to purchase. She let me look it over and take it for a test drive at my own pace. No pressure what so ever. I am VERY particular about my vehicles, and she actually went out & physically looked it over to report the smallest detail for me. We came from an hour and a half away and it was definitely worth the time to do so. I got a very nice previously used vehicle (belonged to the sales manager) and they in turn earned a very happy loyal customer. Thanks again!

Got an oil change and not long after noticed dripped oil all over the driveway. Got under the truck and found out the oil filter could be unscrewed easily by hand. Not good. Your service department was off that day and I am very dissatisfied. Have always had my 2012 Chevy Silverado serviced there. Craig Miller

Mr. Harris and Mr. Harbold went above and beyond to assist me and my husband in buying our first new car in 23 years. We have always had Honda's but decided to test drive a car from Coughlin...we were pleasantly surprised and are very happy with our experience and purchase.

Erika Panovsky

Chris Runyan

Very courteous and speedy with a simple LOF. Told me of an upcoming need (tires) without any pressure to make a "right now" decision.

Christopher Setzer

Coughlin worked with me to get my new Chevy Colorado, and made sure I got a good deal, even without a trade-in. Joe was my salesman and John handled the financing, and they both made the process as easy as possible. With the discounts Joe found for me, I basically got a bed liner and cover at no additional cost. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car!

We took our truck in for oil change, tire rotation and to look at why the key keeps getting stuck. It turns out the shifter was going bad. They fixed it quick but now we can't pick up our truck because the extended warranty hasnt paid them yet and they don't know what to charge us. We have nasty winter weather happening and bought the truck for this reason but we cant take it. Why can't they send us an invoice? We need our truck! I'm very disappointed.

The Funtime Show

Rude lady whoever answers the phones!

Julie McNeill is just an awesome sales person. We had contacted her via the Buick website requesting a quote. We were in no hurry to get our new Enclave. Julie stayed in touch, and when the right car and right deal showed up, she let us know. We got a great trade in value for our Nissan Rogue, and a great lease on the Enclave. The rest of the Team was great, too.

G K

Horrible service department. They dragged their feet the whole process and didn't even let me know when my repairs were complete. I had to call to find out it was done 5 days after it was completed and then they charged me for all the extra days with their junky rental car. The whole process took 13 days and should have been 4. Obviously it's a dealer so you expect the astronomical labor rates, but in exchange you should receive exceptional service. I discussed my car issues with GM and they assured me that the dealer had the ability to help with the repair cost, but Coughlin said I wasn't a "loyal enough customer" ever though we bought my wife's car there and I could have chosen probably 12 closer dealers for my repairs. At the time I was also in the market for 3 new cars, but was so turned off by the service people that I decided to buy elsewhere. Bottom line - Not helpful, slow, over-priced. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back.

Betsy Fox

I explained right from the beginning I didn't want to buy that day but it didn't seem to matter, they pushed anyways. I just wanted to see how the Camaro drove as I was just starting to look at cars. I was extremely tempted to buy but really needed time to absorb what I learned, but they kept pushing. They lied about the car's price going up the following day (it didn't), that someone else wanted it if I didn't purchased it that day (yet later, said I could take it home for the night "just to get used to it"). However, it wasn't until the next day that I took my car in to my mechanic because Coughlin told me my rear drums were trashed and my car wasn't safe to drive that I really got angry. My mechanic checked my car and laughed saying there was nothing wrong with my drums and without thinking, he said he'd pay twice their offer for the car right then! Pressure and really bad lying have lost my business. Too bad, I'm gonna buy a Camaro - but from their competitor!

Deb Leon

I brought my 2013 Spark in for oil change and to get 2 recalls fixed. While the car was there, your techs found another issue with the washer compressor. That was also fixed under warranty. I live in Springfield and it is about 30 miles for me to drive to Coughlin Marysville after getting little or no response from other GM dealers in my area, I will gladly drive the extra miles! Carolyn, Phil and the rest of the Coughlin team are an absolutely great bunch of very knowledgeable people. They have a way of making you feel "at home" if you need to wait for work to be done. Wonderful place. Have recommended it to all my GM owner friends.

Joette Williams

Wonderful experience. I worked with a gentleman by the name of Chris J. that was very helpful. He was able to answer most of my questions before I even set foot in the dealership. I never felt pressure to buy a vehicle nor did Chris bring out a vehicle that was beyond my means. This is the 4th vehicle I've bought (1st from here) and was by far the BEST experience. I highly recommend this dealership and Chris!

Joseph Travaglianti

Brought my 2018 GMC in for a simple tire rotation and fuel filter change. When I got my truck back the left camera wasn't working correctly. Can't get them to correct the issue. Worst GM service department I've ever been to.

Great service and great price. Wil visit again.

The staff is great! I’ve bought from them and now my servicing is with them. The sales staff are friendly and not pushy at all. The service team is phenomenal! They’re knowledgeable and helpful and don’t push work that doesn’t need done. Highly recommend this team to anyone!

Dave Yokum

Good place to get service. They go above expectations.

Anthony Arata

I just purchased my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado from Coughlin Marysville! The Coughlin team made everything easy and they were very transparent. My salesperson Cody Townsend was extremely informative and was able to answer any questions I had. He showed me around the dealership and also helped scheduled my first pit stop appointment. During the pit stop appointment they helped install my new running boards and made sure all my systems were functioning correctly. All fluids and systems were to GM specifications. I greatly appreciated the expertise from Cody and their service department. They were also very accommodating in making my next pit stop appointments easier for me by allowing me to use another one of their dealerships (Pataskala) for service since I live closer. They truly care about customer service and making your car buying experience a good one! I highly recommend Cody Townsend and the Coughlin team!

E T

Me and my wife have now bought three vehicles here at the marysville location. Chris j has helped us find what we were looking for. Never been pushy and he went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Also the service dept is great. Always fast and courteous. And explain very well any questions that we have had. They do there best to make you feel comfortable and we get the small town feel every time were there.

Chantelle

Tried to lie to me about an issue with my car. Something that is easily fixed but they decided to make up some stuff so they can get hundreds of dollars. Showed me the issue from under the car and made it seem like it was extremely hard to fix. If you look from the top, what needed to be fixed is out in the open.

James Wagnild

Easy to schedule and fast courteous service.

One of the best Coughlin stores!! Mike Chapa is one of the best sales men there if you want a great deal ask for him and the sales managers Jim and Toma are the best and service department is the best Sean best guy to ask for help and they have loaner cars they care a lot for there customers

They took parts off my car and didnt put them back on, such as the gear shift guide and one lugnut from each tire. I also went to retrieve my car and found it unlocked in the grass.

I had been to Coughlin Chevrolet Buick car service center & below is my experience. *They do not disclose the place/website where they bought the part/item from!! (as they did not have it in their invetory), just have to agree for what ever they charge for. *They do not share the part/item purchased receipt, justifying “we have tie up with GM & cannot disclose the receipt to any one”.!!!??. *The old Starter from my car was also shipped to GM for remanufacture without my consent. *Labor charge was $190 for replacing the Motor, felt bit costly.hards few minutes of job for experienced.

Claire Murphy

Coughlin worked with me to get my Chevy Cruze and made sure I got a great deal. Joe was my salesman and he and manager Brent Harbold made the process fun and easy! I would recommend Coughlin Marysville to anyone looking for their new car.

Jennifer Wilson

Our family just purchased our 4th vehicle from them today! Thanks Tera, you were awesome to my son with his truck! And Jim...I love my Buick Enclave! Absolutely love you guys! The whole staff really treats you like family and they Truly go the EXTRA MILE to make the deal a good one for everyone! Thanks COUGHLIN! The Wilson Family will be back again for future purchases!
