A recurrent, frustrating experience. The confirmation that my car would be picked up for change of tires was sent after the fact; the people that picked up the car were extremely rude; the car was promised to be returned the next day (which it finally did), but my phone calls to confirm that this would indeed be the case were met with tentative and conditional assurances (a familiar pattern re-occurring for the fourth year in a row...). This is unfortunately the only Porsche service in Westchester; had this not been the case, I would have taken my business elsewhere a long time ago.

My visit here was a complete waste of time and money. Brought my Cayenne in because I was experiencing some sort of parasitic battery drain. I was told the following day that I should remove the remote starter so that further diagnostics can be performed. It would've been nice if that was told to me before charging me almost $700 for nothing, especially when I made sure to tell the service advisor that there was a remote starter installed on the vehicle when it was brought in for service. I also mentioned that I was experiencing a rattling noise coming from the underneath of the vehicle, I was told by the service advisor that it was a missing battery clamp. As far as I'm concerned nothing was done, and I charged alot for minimal work. I will surely tell my family and friends to take their business elsewhere and avoid this place at all cost, I know that I will.

While the staff is nice and polite, their communication was very poor and follow through. My car was scheduled for an inspection and a standard tune up. It took over 10 days. Now there was an issue where they found water under mats but I had to call them to ask what was going on. Repeatedly. This after asking 4 times for an estimate on body work for 3 months.

Had a very unpleasant experience at Larchmont when I went to purchase a used car. My family and I were treated unprofessionally - the general sales manager was outright rude during the negotiations. Negotiations will necessarily have some back and forth, but to be belittled the way we were is unacceptable. We walked away from purchasing a car from them simply because of their service.

Review 9/9/2019 Update - just drove off in my new 2019 Cayenne. Gary Minsky was amazing yet again. Knowledgeable, well-mannered, very responsive and commercially savvy as Gary is, he remains my go to guy when it comes down to Porsches. One thing is to sell a car, the other what the brand and its cars are all about. I do admit that I compared the offers out there but quickly realized that Gary had the right car meeting all my needs. Dealing with Pedro who did the delivery today as well with Jon, the finance manager could not have been more pleasant. Last but not least - I had my 911 serviced at Porsche Larchmont over the past 5 years and can only recommend to give your business to these guys. You won't repent the decision for sure! Review 2014 Drove Porsches for a long time, bought all of them back in Germany. I always thought that the German dealerships are hard to beat. But then I bought a new 991 at Porsche Larchmont, working with Gary Minsky there. By all means, he is a true professional: courteous, knowledgable, patient and commercially very savvy. I did compare with other dealers in the Tristate area but wasn't impressed by any of them. Gary really gets it - his deals are very competitive, he doesn't oversell at all and is happy to take the time to make sure you enjoy buying your Porsche. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

My wife and I ordered a new Boxster from John Farrell and could not be happier with his initial sales presentation, his periodic follow-up communication with us as the car neared production and the way he handled my wide variety of technical questions at delivery time. Working with sync Paolino Bastone, Jr., the Business Manager... we both felt that the professionalism displayed in their handling of the entire transaction amounted to a score of 11 on a ten point scale. Even when a slight glitch occurred just before delivery, John and Paolino addressed the issue strictly from our standpoint and our point of view and resolved the 'de minimis' matter quickly and efficiently. You know, we did visit one other Porsche store looking to see a particular grey colored interior during our 'thinking' process and were contacted by that dealership just before we committed with Pepe ... and were offered an financial incentive to switch dealerships at the last minute. We _never even considered_ switching our loyalty because of the way my wife and I were treated during the entire Porsche of Larchmont sales experience.

Customer service is their priority. I recently purchased my 911 from this dealership and it was an experience I will never forget. The sales staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Great team! Very helpful! I was looking for a 911 and Karina Zaleska found the perfect one. She is truly passionate about the car and explained all the features in detail. Very simple process and almost seamless. If you're looking for someone you can trust it will be her! I felt she understood exactly what I was looking for and never gave up to find the perfect car. Too expensive, service not complete. I had mentioned a few things when I dropped off the vehicle and when I picked it up some issues had not been addressed. The bill was outrageously expensive. Their labor charges are too high and when I expressed that concern to the service manager the answer I received was that the hourly cost of the technician is expensive because they have to add to it the off site training with housing and air fare, the electricity cost of the dealership and so forth. I found that explanation so out of place.....

I visited Porsche of Larchmont to get a DME analysis and report. The appointment process by telephone was smooth and painless. I used their appointment webpage to change the date of the appointment and this process was also smooth and painless. As I drove to the dealership, I noticed that the entry to the parking lot was almost flat to the ground with virtually no rising slope against which low-to-the-ground sports cars can scrape. Most dealers, including Porsche and BMW dealers, have driveways with steep angles that will scrape against the front of any sports car that is close to the ground. So this was a nice touch. The service entrance was easy to access. It was clean and comfortable with a great selection of coffee and other complimentary drunks. Upon entry, I was greeted by a friendly service representative, who took care of all paperwork while a technician analyzed my car. I visited the sales area while my car was being examined and I noticed how the sales floor was packed with current Porsche models (GT3 RS anyone?) as well as a few well-maintained older classic Porsches. Total eye candy for a car enthusiast... The sales staff was ready to assist me if I needed but they did not make any pushy sale pitches. The DME analysis was done quickly and I received the report shortly thereafter. The only shock I received was when I asked about the cost of the analysis and the report. They told me that the work was complimentary and I didn’t have to pay anything! Based on my experience with this dealership, Porsche of Larchmont has become one of my all-time favorite car dealerships and I will make sure I visited it for my next Porsche purchase and service needs.

Went with a friend to look at a used Audi they had. We came from very far away and when we got there the sales client advisor we were speaking to was not there. They didn’t even take us seriously, we went on a test drive with who I assumed was a “lot” worker. The manager was very rude. Basically told us to leave if we didn’t like the price. On top of that they tried to steal our trade in by only giving us a low ball offer. Honestly expected a lot better. I was extremely frustrated by the staff there and felt bad for my friend who had full intent of purchasing a car but now is looking elsewhere. They need to learn to respect all customers, I felt as though since we were in our early 20s they didn’t see us as valueable customers, that’s fine we’ll take our business elsewhere. UPDATE 1/2/18- responding to the reply the dealership gave on my review. Word of advice, it’s not what the manager said it’s how he said it. Learning to speak to customers properly and respectfully was a big issue. Next, I know and use DealerTrack, MMR, galves, blackbook, and a few wholesalers personally. I know your trade in offer was below market value regardless of the mileage. Also, you didn’t respond to the fact that when we got there we were not even given a salesperson. I appreciate the message but clearly the dealership and the person responding to this is missing the point. Also I see they just copied and pasted the same response from another negative review.

Sold me a new never owned Porsche 911 C4S cabriolet and when I went to trade it two years later I was informed the entire right rear panel had been painted!! Not even a good paint job - they sprayed the white paint on the black rubber window trim. I never caught on nor suspected anything because I bought it new from a Porsche dealership! That will be my last Porsche! And definitely don’t recommend this dishonest dealership. I’m not a fan of writing negative reviews. But selling someone a $135k vehicle and not clearly and openly disclosing body paint on a new vehicle is very unethical. ***** Contacted Porsche USA customer service. Never heard back from the dealership. Porsche USA told me the dealership told them that the customer was aware of body paint which is absolutely false. Apparently Porsche won't and can't do anything to enforce integrity of its brand.

It’s a nickle and dime operation. Five cars purchased in less than 5 years. I’d expect more from this place. They overcharged me and delivered my 911 with the wrong wheels, and then lie directly to your face when saying they’ll credit and refund you the difference. My wife’s cayenne went in for new tires under tire insurance after hitting a pothole and they want us to pay as well. I am taking my Porsche business elsewhere.

Initially brought my 05, 911 in for inspection upon entering the shop the service Manager Bill Bologna greets me admiring the pristine condition of my car and low mileage. All goes well I gave them great review thru Porsche survey. On my second visit 7/17/2017 for an error message, same process as first visit pictures are taken prior to any work started on the car as usual. The service adviser recognizes me and my car we go over details although my car was clean I requested and Chris noted on service ticket in my presence in large letters "DO NOT WASH" all is well so far. About 2 hours later I receive a call from Chris with Tech findings, I agree to repair but was informed part would need to be ordered will arrive next day, repair will be complete my 911 would be ready for pick up. I reminded Chris of my request not to clean my car and do not leave outdoors as my car is garage kept which is demonstrated by its condition. Following day no call from Chris or Porsche of Larchmont. so around 12pm I call and was informed Chris is on another line and would call me back, this happened on three attempts. Next day Saturday 7/18 same story unable to contact Chris I was either told he would return my call or transferred to his voice mail. Monday am comes I'm in limbo, finally reached Bill Bologna who tells me Chris was let go Friday for not following up with customers (which afterwards I realized Bill is guilty of the same crime) So my obvious question was why was I continually told Chris would call back or transferred to his voice mail. Response was because they are attempting to catch up... Fine, Bill informs me the parts did arrive but not installed. I asked where has my car been stored since it poured rain over the weekend, he replies in a low tone outdoors. Of course I lost it mentioning my request and how Chris documented in my presence. 100 excuses//apologies later he promised to have it completed first thing in the am and he would personally call to confirm. I replied I can only imagine the condition of my car but DO NOT WASH THE CAR! To my surprise next day no call from the service manager at this point I'm very worried left work early headed straight to Porsche of Larchmont. I find my car in the front lot. I go in to speak with Bill for an explanation but of course he was gone for the day. After paying for service I inspected my car and found mud and dirt was everywhere this was a car that was never out in the rain. As I continue to look I found scratched, hood chips, mud inside the front cabin and damage to front spoiler. I immediately go back in and find Peter, (Chris's replacement) I pointed out the damages and he didn't know what to do so he got Vinny Greco involved (Service adviser) his jaw practically drops and starts apologizing and mentions "I recall your car and don't blame you for being upset I'm the same way with my car" He instructs Peter to take pictures of all damages, signs my service ticket "saw scratches on vehicle that were not there on drop off" said he would make/forward report to good O'l Bill B. which would call me in the am. Guess what, no call from Bill. After a combine 15 calls to Bill, Peter, Vinny I finally involve Porsche headquarters providing before and after pictures and mentioned all that needs to be done is look at before service pictures taken when I initially arrive at Larchmont the first and second time for comparison and zoom in to the damage areas. A week later Bill calls upset that I involved Porsche said he would be willing to rectify only two scratches and requested an estimate just to put an end to the situation I emailed him an estimate 2 days later. A week an multiple unanswered calls later I reach out to the COO of Pepe Auto Group Joe Pepe but would only get his secretary Helen who took my information and complaint. next day Bob Pepe (Porsche of Larchmont GM) calls me agreeing to cover cost. I make arrangements with body shop but no one from Porsche returned calls to confirm payment so I'm back to square one. Again unsuccessful calls. Pepe Auto Group shady from top down.

Not only is Porsche of Larchmont a beautiful building, awesome showroom and spotless hi-tech shop, for me its all about service. Porsche of Larchmont service manager Bill is extremely welcoming insuring that all of your needs will be taken care of. The two customer servers reps Peter and Vinny are the best at insuring my questions were answered and my car was in good hands, both really really nice guys. This is 5 stars all day long!

I had the worst experience with the service department. They kept my car the whole day to diagnose an engine fault but did not work on it. They asked me to take the car and reschedule but would not give me an appointment after three calls each service rep telling me to "talk tot he manager." I am still confused!!!!! I suppose you have to be the "Right" kind of person to get warranty service from Porsche of Larchmont. And obviously I am not. Stay away unless you are their type. Try New Country Porsche in Greenwich. Their building is not as nice but they serve all kinds of customers with quality and a great attitude.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!!! I purchased a vehicle in April from Gary Minsky of Porsche of Larchmont. its been 3 months since my vehicle purchase , and my temporary plates have been expired for 2 months now ! I called the DMV to see where they were in the process and to my surprise they haven't even begun it ! They also informed me that the dealer only has 30 days to initiate this process after that it is up to me. Not 1 email or 1 letter in the mail about it at all . This is unacceptable service from a Porsche dealer . I do not want to wait for them to drag their feet in this process anymore , I will be writing a letter to the attorney general.

Their service falls to a level that would be better described as criminal/extortion. I had my 911 Turbo towed in when the belt snapped - after two hours of "service diagnostics" (which they never could fully describe beyond opening the truck and observing a broken belt), I was informed the vehicle would require the engine to be dropped, and a new water pump, battery, pulleys and alternator were required...and that additional replacement parts may be necessary after they dropped the engine and could better diagnose the issue. Estimated cost was a "minimum of $3,500" Long story short, I paid the $400 diagnostic fee and towed my car to an independent repair shop - who proceeded to replace one seized pulley and snapped belt (without dropping the engine) - they had me back on the road in 90 minutes for a total of $380. Avoid this place at all costs!

Not too happy. I had 2 issues. One was do to the need of a new sensor. The other was because my E charger was not charging properly. Problem was not solved. Car is still using 5 miles of charging in 1 mile/3min. Not the performance I am use to. My car wasn’t washed even though I stated I would pickup first thing in the morning. Loaner did not have navigation.

I found Ross Lubell through the DealerRater website and have been wholly pleased and impressed by quick responses and a wide knowledge base of his product. I believe he's been to a couple of seminars to expand this knowledge base since we started the building and buying process. Once I was able to establish connection with Ross to schedule some test drives, Ross took it upon himself to drive the models to my home to allow me to test drive easily, eliminating the need for me to drive to the dealership. He also personally delivered some samples of the interior fabric/leather options for the intended model directly to my home so I could show to others and get some opinions. He then returned to my residence to retrieve the samples. This is customer service AND appreciation.

I have a 997.2 Carrera that I normally service at New Country Greenwich. I needed a brake job, alignment, and new tires and I had heard of people defecting to Larchmont so I figured I would do my due diligence and get a second quote. I called Monday of the last week and spoke to somebody who took down my name, number, and request and said they would get back to me for a quote. They did not. I followed up again, asking to speak to a service adviser, and I was directed to leave a voicemail. I received no call back. I followed up yet again and spoke to somebody who said they received my request but could not give a quote until they had my VIN. I gave them my VIN. Another couple days passed without follow up and I called AGAIN. I could not reach anybody. At this point, there would have been no way I would have left my car with such unreliable people, I did still want a quote to compare prices however. Today (Monday of the next week), I spoke to somebody on the phone who again took down my VIN and info. She called me back and said she was unable to run my VIN, yet she could give me an estimate for the brake job and a price for the tires. This, total, came in to $3900+ without a $200 brake flush. New Country quoted me $3100 including brake flush. This is $1000 dollars more than a dealership I already thought was expensive. CONCLUSION: Terrible customer service and rip off pricing.
