Unprofessional BS artists. On three occasions over a week, I entered my information through their website to inquire on a Telluride EX with towing package. I was called shortly thereafter on each occasion (including when my request specifically stated that I was in meetings and just wanted an email). I spoke with someone each time and they pushed me to come in for a test drive. When asked if the vehicle was still in stock, they stuttered a little and said, "yeah." Anyone who has been searching for a Telluride knows that the EX and SX models are in high demand and don't last more than a couple of days on the lot, so I doubt that this vehicle is lingering for a week. On each occasion, I explained that I am a serious buyer and asked that they send me OTD costs via email and I would respond promptly. They are 0-3, as I have yet to receive anything. Typical shady sales practices. Kia needs to realize they are no longer a downmarket brand and train their people to act with integrity and handle themselves in a professional manner, which includes telling the truth.

Horrible store that definitely discriminates against people of color. Went in there to look at a Telluride and not even a salesman come to help us. After we looked at all the interior features, we asked for a test drive and they said no, "we don't do test drives on Saturday's." I reiterated to the person that on Saturdays, you don't allow any potential customers to test drive and everyone just purchases on the spot? He then said this iconic line, "I just work here." I walk outside, call the number listed on their website, spoke to another rep and said they definitely do test drives on Saturdays. So which is it?! Never give your money to such places as this only encourages them that they can act like this and be complacent about it.

This place is a nightmare If I could give it negative stars I would. I brought my Kia Sorrento in for some repairs and recalls on October 1, 2018. I paid $1,800 for my repairs. I brought the car home on October 8th. 3 days later it was pouring rain, I went to get in my car after work and the entire roof liner was bulging with water, water dripping all over my back seat. After standing up on my side step rails to see the roof... the entire roof was dented in, holes where punctured in the roof, my roof rails and ski racks were cracked. the car is an SUV so you could not see this unless you climbed up to the roof. After bringing the car back to Plaza Kia they reviewed the camera in the shop and came to the conclusion that when my car was put on the lift it was raised to high and the beam hit my roof. So the technician that worked on my car thought he would fool me by letting me leave with the car. I guess he figured it would never rain. I was promised that my roof would be fixed, being it was completely their fault. It is now February 13, 2019 and they still have my car. I can not even begin to explain what they have put me through. They LIE, LIE, LIE AND LIE SOME MORE. they tell me the car is fixed and I can come pick it up. When I arrive (several times) the roof is still dented, the liner inside the car completely separated and the roof rail is not even attached entirely to the roof and bent. They got wax all over the car, and compound splattered around the trim. When I got upset that this is how they were returning my car, Orlando, who was the one at that time handling it, Slammed my trunk door and stormed away. I asked him if this were his car would he be pleased with how it was being returned? He said no! So I asked him then why are you the one getting upset. You damaged my car when I paid you for a service and you have been lying to me for months and months about it being fixed as well as not fixing it properly. They wind up keeping the car to try again to repair it. I sent someone who owns his own auto body shop to inspect my car and they told me the car was in Staten Island getting fixed at a different body shop. IT WAS NOT. It was still sitting there, they didn't want someone that knew what they were doing to inspect it.... I am now dealing with Sameer. Sameer is the biggest liar I have ever come across in my life. my car has sat in his care for weeks and he didn't have any work done. Just denied anything was wrong and then yessed me to death about what was being repaired. I again sent someone there to inspect my car because I was tired of being lied to. I sent my brother, my husband and the auto body guy. They refused to bring my car down from the lift until I had to call screaming. Because again they did not complete any repairs and didn't want the car inspected. When they finally did bring it down, Sameer did nothing but lie and talk to them like morons. They were all in disbelief at what kind of establishment this place is and who they have handling it..And now because my car has sat in their possession for 4 1/2 months without being started the battery is drained. Which Sameer again tried to get over on me, by telling me he charged the battery and it is fine. Meaning I will get home and once I turn the car back on it won't start. And then I am responsible for buying a new battery. I Have been trying to reach the general manager Dominick Mele, who does nothing as well. He won't answer an email or return a phone call. At this point I have requested that they refund my $1,800 for the original repairs considering they have done nothing but very poor patchwork on my car and my roof is still damaged. They will not refund the money. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau. I am picking my car up Friday and I am going straight to small claims court to file paperwork to sue them. because that is the only way I will get my money back. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR THERE. Since I have brought my car and have been telling my story to other people I have come across a few with horror stories of this place.

I’m very disappointed with this dealership, I purchased a car June 3, as my 1st Vehicle. I never extract I would be treated to terrible I only had my car for 10 days when it completely broke down. I reached out to the general manager that owns this place and never received a reply. What so bad about this place I completely trust them and asked for a refund but was denied. And to make matters worse they wouldn’t even offer me a car , to get back n forth to work. This dealership is completely unprofessional and unhelpful. I strongly suggest that u don’t go to this place at all. They took my money and for a brand new car and sold me a lemon. The car was completely damaged. If there anyone else out here that feels the same way as I do I strongly suggest that u expose it. But I’m truly hurt by the way they handle this situation

After seeing the Telluride at another dealership I was decided on buying it but wanted the SX trim level. I spoke with Austin in regards to the vehicle and he told me they had 3 Telluride SX in stock (he even told me the exact colors). He sent me a confirmation text and told me to ask for Damon. I drove from LIC to Plaza Kia (1 hour traffic) and was told that Damon wasn't in and that there weren't ANY Tellurides in stock. None of the employees seemed to care much and later when I spoke to Damon he seemed pretty nonchalant about the situation. If the employees can't do a simple stock check I wouldn't trust them with a lease or purchase.

A little trick with these guys when calling press 1 for sales that’s the only way they will answer your call, but like everything else in life if you work hard enough you’ll get through to them. Scheduled a test drive on sunday. Waited an hour for them to get the car ready. Confronted by a random aggressive sales person who said they do not let people test drive cars and then further interrogated me on the price of the vehicle comparing his brand to a Porsche dealership. The worst place on the planet! Customer service is horrible!! I don't really give harsh reviews but this place got under my skin. Good luck to all trying to return your Kia. Edit. I only came to this location because I was told that there was room to bring my car for lease return (called the number that was listed on Google maps). Had I known that it was a lie I would've never attempted it. Maybe who ever answers the phone should be clear about the return policies and not bait customers to come in and look for employees that don't even work there. I would never lease from Kia again. Enjoy the 12k you got from my pocket. People call before hand and hopefully you will not have the horrible experience I had.

Called the phone number listed and asked for a specific car that was showing in their inventory. I asked the gentleman that answered the phone specifically if he was in the store and he assured me that he was. He confirmed the color scheme and model with me on the phone. I got to the location within 20 minutes and was told that they did NOT have the color scheme in the model that I wanted. They did offer me another color which I wasn't happy with but was willing to negotiate. They kept wanting to run my credit which I know is pretty decent and I said no. So when we counter offered their "random"offer that was just monthly payments (they wouldn't tell us the price of the vehicle) they finally came back with $48,000 for a vehicle with an MSRP of 44,920 and a "Plaza Price of $43,092" on their website. The lies, first telling people that you have the vehicle in stock, secondly offering the vehicle for $4,908 more than your advertised price. You should be ashamed of yourselves. At the end of the day it is a KIA that is KBB'd less than the MSRP already. I will wait patiently and continue to drive my Cadillac CT6 til the prices come back down in a couple of weeks when the Palisade hits and I seen one on the delivery truck on my way home. I will not be back to Plaza Kia to complete my final purchase though and I hope others are aware of their scams. Always ask for the selling price before you sign anything. On a better note we did have some good laughs with Mr. ED!!!

If I could give 10/5 stars, I would as I had a surprisingly great experience leasing my new 2020 Kia Sportage SX Turbo from Plaza Kia! I have to be honest that I didn't go into the dealership with high expectations as I've had nothing but bad prior experiences stemming from pushy sales reps with their cheese sales pitches, over-inflated prices, and hidden fees added. However, I had the exact opposite experience with Plaza Kia and it was a great pleasure working with both Damon and Andrew!! Not only were they not pushy, they were completely upfront and transparent about what they could and could not do with pricing and broke down everything that was included in the fees, so their were no surprises. The best part was that they were able to work with me and ended up giving me a really great lease offer which not only beat out other dealerships but also all the leasing companies out there who offered a competitive rate to begin with. Brought car in on Tuesday August 21st and had scheduled an appointment for 11:30am. Arrived at 11:15 and let them know that i needed an oil change. They told me the wait would be approx 2hrs since they were short staffed and had a few cars to work on before mine. My car did not go into the shop until approx. 2:45 pm and by 3:15 was out. That equates to 4hrs being at KIA. Very unacceptable. Need to hire extra staff or if someone calls in sick, there should always be a backup. Only saw 2 men working there.

Pros: 1)Mini Donuts in the waiting area. Cons: 1)Called service number and received a nice price for a oil change package, went in for the service, and the price was much higher. I did not get the package that included tier rotation. I was basically lied to! (Very upsetting!) 2)No tech available to do recall! (Very upsetting!) 3)No complimentary car wash after service! (Kia Yonkers & Kia West Nyack offers it.) 4) No one knows how much what is what in the place. There’s no prices next to the services located in the service area. Location recommended? NO!

Where to start? I have been here 4 times and every time I come I ask myself why bother making an appointment in advance because I never am served even close to that time. I have been here today over 4 and 1/2 hours and it is still my car isn't ready. Also I pulled my car up and tried to register it I was told I had to wait for the valet guy to come back in order to register it. Then after the valet checked me in i waited about 1/2 hour for them to pull it in for it to wait again. They need to open another Kia service place in Brooklyn so I don't have to come back here. There is no reason to go out of your way if there isn't much in the line of competition. Update: I got a response that this is a showroom page so where is the page for service department reviews? Also don't customers have a right to know what they have to endure if they purchase a car and need it serviced?

Looks great place to buy a new car, like others I also bought a car the last month, what I can say don't pay or sign any papers before you see the car. In my case the car was new but with a damage which was repaired by them earlier and I was not told anything, I found out the signs of the damage after several days and I had to spend a month to properly repair it. So my advice be careful. I was planning to buy another car in the near future but I'll not ever buy any car in any condition from this location.

Very rude and unprofessional specially the finance guy with a the ponytail mast person! Worst car buying experience of my life! Lied to me took a deposit took off plates from my old car ripped off my registration in the end tried to get more money playing games wasted over 3 hours of my time. I had to take the next day off work to go to the dmv and get a new registration sticker not to get a parking ticket. What a waste of time and no apology from the dealer just a lot of laughs. I hope they close down for good!

We went in to gather information, reguarding the options to our lease. We had exceeded our miles after 2yrs on a 3 year lease and had to drive our Serento only locally, a DISASTER. I called in advance to work with the same salesman and we set up an appointment for 1:30. We were called at 1:15 and confirmed our now VIP appointment (nice). When we arrived we were greeted by Courtney, young and enthusiastic not our original salesperson, sometimes you gain in the exchange! Courtney guided us thru the complicated options and was the glue that held the deal together! Honestly we arrived at 1:30 and left at 8:20! In the end my wife is now fearlessly driving back and forth to pickup our kids from college! Her life is way more manageable, the professional team especially the finance guy (he was AWESOME ) atPlaza Kia allowed us to gather all the information prior to making our now very informed decision. THANK YOU PLAZA KIA, COURTNEY AND THE WHOLE TEAM... Imagine 7 hour and happy... Customer service counts!!! Happy Driving

Unprofessional. Customer service completely lied to us. Total bait and switch tactic. Never will recommend. My wife contacted this dealership a few days ago to set up a test drive. We’ve leased several times with Ford, Nissan and Honda. We were intrigued by the look of the Telluride. My wife was told that they had every model of the Telluride on site and scheduled an appt with them for a test drive. I took my family out of the pool on this 100 degree day to drive from Staten Island to Brooklyn so they could experience potentially driving in our next family vehicle. While driving across the Verrazano Bridge we received a call from them confirming our appt. We informed them that we were in route. We arrived and walked in. We looked around the show room and there were no Telluride models. An employee from behind the desk asked us if we were looking for the Telluride and we answered yes. He then stated we have none. We told him and every employee within earshot that we specifically scheduled an appt to test drive it after being informed several times over several days that they had every model on site. The employee in an effort to keep us from leaving wanted to show us a Hundayi and said “both cars are virtually the same” Spent two hours in traffic plus a toll payment to be lied to. If this is a glimpse on how this company conducts business I will never own a Kia. Ford, Nissan, Honda I have a fist full of cash and an 850 Fico score. Don’t let me down.

I brought my Kia in for 30k service the price I was quoted for this service turned out to be for labor only the parts added another $300 < to the price. The technician over inflated my tires by 15 lbs each (safety issue) nothing was moved in the cargo area so it’s safe to assume he didn’t check the spare tire, also he didn’t top off the washer fluid. Plaza’s 30k service varies slightly from what the manufacturer suggests. Maybe Plaza should reach out to customers (they do have all the customers phone numbers) to check and see if they where satisfied with there service, most businesses do do that nowadays.

If I can give zero stars, I would. After many discussions, we decided to go with a kia. I was looking forward to test driving a kia with my husband because we plan on buying a family car but once we stepped into the dealership, nobody came to greet us. They completely ignored us. The man was telling me how they don't do test drives on weekends. He was not apologetic about it. He just shrugged it off and just said "I just work here". I've been to other dealerships and had no problems test driving on weekends and they were a lot friendlier. I feel like we were discriminated because we do not look a certain way or have a certain race. You should be ashame of yourselves hiring employees who discriminates.***EDIT*** kia did NOT apologize for their employees behavior. We have a friend call kia and they told them they do tests drives on weekends. So apparently kia allows their employees to discriminate and lie to customers about test drives and not take responsibility for their actions. Do not waste your money on a place that discriminates and are unprofessional.

One of the worst dealerships that you will deal with. Buyer beware - Purchase a car from them , damage to the car was never disclosed (bumper had a 2-3 inch hole in it), since it was not a safety concern they did not bother to disclose it. That is what the salesperson told me. Salespeople are clueless and ignorant sales managers - whose goal is to sell the car and not care about customer experience or satisfaction. This was the 8th car I purchased - by far the worst experience at a automotive dealer. Pay an extra couple of hundred dollars at another dealership and save yourself the headache and anxiety. Time is money people. After I vented their sales manager Damon contacted me to resolve this issue - lets just say millennial that are employed at my business are more professional then their sales manager. BTW will be reporting them to NYS and filling a VS35 - Dealership complaint form.
