The first day I got it I was stock in the highway took it back and they told me oh we don’t see anything wrong little did I know ever since car had all kinds of problems they even had to rebuild the transmission a year later stay away from helms take my advise crooks sold me a lemon never again going there helms your card are lemons

Ever had that stabbing dread of entering a Car Dealership due to the sudden urge of adrenaline coursing through your veins - your body's way of preparing for the inevitable/unavoidable funky sales tactics, mind games performed by shady Car Salesmen? Well, NOT with Peter Fearon at Helms Bro. I was very fortunate that my brother had introduced me to Peter Fearon who sold him a car three years ago. (If this example of repeat business wasn't enough for you then continue to read on). Upon being introduced to Peter Fearon, all of my nerves seemed to subside, as you can immediately tell, Peter is not one of those "shady" car salesmen. His utmost professional behavior is coupled by the reassurance of his humor, kind, and non-aggressive approach. Peter advised me of ALL the solutions possible to help me get rid of my lease by letting my brother and me make our own decision. He tirelessly worked on making sure the numbers made me HAPPY. I honestly felt that he was looking out for my best interest and that's all that really matters - an act of Altruism that is easy by definition, but difficult to execute. I really hope that you choose Peter Fearon to help guide you in your next choice of vehicle. You wont regret it.

This was my second lease at Helms Bros. Both times Jeffrey Stampler was my sales help. I was pleasantly surprised my first time and even more surprised the second. Jeffrey was wonderful. I could not believe how quickly I got my car. It usually takes a half day for all the paperwork to get completed. With the second lease most of the paperwork was done before I got there. When I did arrive, I blinked and I was finished. The service center was not painful either. Keep up the good work!

I wish I could have given 0 stars to this particular Benz service shoppe. The Helm Bros., showroom and switchboard people are very courteous, however, the service department are LIARS, they told me PURE LIES and tried to get me to pay $1000 for something that is covered by Mercedes-Benz warranty. They also BROKE the hood latch on my vehicle and had the NERVE to put on the receipt that they "advised" customer that latch hood broke off, when they BROKE it! I will never again use or goto Helms Bros., Mercedes-Benz service or dealership and I would advise any one reading this review to to the same! **addition** I received a phone call in response to the broken hood latch, according to the service, he was quite adamant that it was broken before they serviced the vehicle, but funny how he never mentioned that being broken until I told them that I found the broken hood latch on the front seat or my vehicle. Again, I would advise any one not to go to this dealership, they are tricky liars and if you want to be taken advantageof by all means visit Helms Bros., Mercedes-Benz service center, you will most certainly be taken for a ride!

One of the best experiences you can have at any dealership I have been to many dealerships in my life and have purchased close to 30 cars. This last experience I have had at Helms bros was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The dealership and their personnel were very professional and the place was impeccable. I was helped by Evelyn Chin whom was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and not pushy. She made me feel as I was part of a family and to be honest for quite a few years I have been very hesitant to purchase a Mercedes due to some past experiences. Selecting a vehicle was sensational, the paperwork process was smooth and the delivery was phenomenal. This is the first time I have purchased a vehicle at Helms though I have been here in the past to take a look at vehicles and quite a few times for service. I do believe that my experience with Evelyn put me over the hump, there was no reason to shop anywhere else. Thank you so much to Helms bros and Evelyn Chin. I highly recommend you!

I have been a very loyal costumer for 10 years and leased 6 cars with them. 2 months ago I explained to my sales rep, Jeffery Stampler that I wanted to lease a new car but my budget had changed and I needed to lower my monthly payments. He came back to me with an offer for a lower class car than what I already had with the same monthly payment! After I explained again that I needed a lower monthly payment, he said there was nothing available at this time. I then threatened to go elsewhere since I have been a loyal, long term costumer, I was insulted that he couldn't help me. He immediately found a CLA without the premium package for the price I was looking for. He acted like he moved mountains to get this deal. Since I really needed to lower the payments yet still wanted to drive a benz, I accepted the offer. At the time, I didn't realize what an inconvenience it is not to have the keyless go and with no 4matic, Im now worried about winter. As a loyal customer for almost 10 years, I think they should have been able to downgrade me into a CLA with premium package and not make me jump through hoops. Instead, I have a downgraded car with NO premium package and I'm only saving $100 per month! This will be my last car with Helms! After I gave a low rating on the survey, the rep emailed me asking for feedback. When I explained, he told me that he had other clients who were on a budget and referred them to Volvo as if implying that I can't afford a benz!! I HAD A C300 with 4matc, premium package and panoramic sunroof for $550 per month. They put me in a CLA NO 4matic, NO premium package and NO panoramic roof for only $100 less per month and they call that a deal??? I regret signing that contract!

I went to many auto shops but never found one like him, to help me get through the process so smooth and calm. It was my first time getting a MB for myself. I was so nervous because i didnt really know uncle about MB cars and how it works. My uncle introduced him to me because my uncle also bought a MB from him couple years ago.. Even after years, he is still helping my uncle to get through his questions and stuffs. Maurice is definitely not the person who try to get u down and close the sales. Instead, he helped me to look for the car that i really like, helped me to go over the function and usage and got a really great deal for me. I wanted the car so bad on the Christmas unfortunately it wont be ready to pick up for another month. He did his best to hold the car for me , which was just came to the warehouse with same model with even better looking sport version. He came into the store on his day off and stayed late to help me with the paperwork and drove me home safely. I got my car the next day and again he helped me to go through again with test drive. I really appreciated his help,he makes my Christmas even brighter this year. If you had him before, you wont look for another.

After speaking to every Benz dealership in the tri-state area I finally stumbled on this one. I was amazed by their level of professionalism and salesmanship. Buying a car is a grind of an experience BUT NOT WITH THEM!!!. Jeff and John made the interaction very pleasant and easy. Jeff reviewed every feature of the car in great detail. Before we left the dealership he insured that we knew how to use everything. Buying a car there was exiting (as buying a new car should be) He even went the extra mile and got my wife a flower. This is without a doubt a premium dealership that delivers on a premium experience for a premium brand. I bought many cars but never had an experience like this one.

Both cars are amazing and any issue I may have had with them was always handled in a very timely, and painless manner. Helms bros excels in their customer service, sales and maintenance staff. Andrew Han was my sales person and I couldn’t speak more highly of him. They are all very responsive without being overly pushy or demanding. They treat you like a valued customer and every experience with them is a true pleasure.

We were in the market for a luxury car and had several in mind. We decided to stop in at Helms Brothers as we passed by with no particular expectation in mind. We were introduced to Andrea Kass who turned out to be the most professional, knowledgeable, non-irritating salesperson we have ever encountered! Andrea took her time, showed us several cars and answered our questions about the different models. We didn't make a commitment, but shopped at two other dealerships. One made an offer similar to Helms Brothers but we decided, because of our experience with Andrea, to purchase the car from her. From start to delivery she was there for us. We still find the 'bells and whistles' on the car somewhat overpowering but Andrea has offered to set aside time to review the features with us. We couldn't ask for anything more. A truly class experience!

I was upset in a previously deleted review about this place but after speaking with my sales rep Erick Manzinella and another employee there i feel as if they are doing their best to give me a car in a reasonable time and working with my bank to make sure my funds are approved before receiving my vehicle. Erick made sure he greeted me as soon as i walked in the door every time i came to the dealership and made sure he took care of everything i needed as soon as possible. Hate the fact i have to wait for my vehicle even though i have a pre approved check but i understand this is how they do business.

I had an unhappy experience in this store. When I search online, Mercedes-Benz NY, I found this store and leave my information, they contacted me shortly. I made an appointment with a test drive the day before Christmas. I could understand they want to enjoy their holiday, but that not means they should rush their time in the business hour. I spent half an hour to do the test drive and get price from Salesman Erick. He just gave me a price(which is original price) and told me that is the final price. Ok. Today, he called me, I told him that I had already bought the car from other place, because my parents made the decision. Otherwise, they offer me better price, why not? I thought he felt angry when I told him that I bought car from others but not from him. He questioned me you test drive here, and get the information from me. I clearly remember he said: "THAT IS NOT RIGHT, OK?" Then, he directly HANG UP my phone. That is not a right way to treat you customer. Test drive which is a service give to the customer. Is it means that if I test drive from here, I must buy the car from this store?? I even did not spent his long time, he disappeared when I still in the store.He should not show his arrogance attitude to his customer. He should know how to respect his customers first!!!! He should respect everyone no matter where they come from. He should not look down on people. When I reviewed the Yelp, I am not the only person to give his bad review. He should think about his attitude to the customers in the future!!!!

Bought a CPO 2016 MB SUV from Helms Bros pre owned dept. Dont publicly post often but the experience was superb. My first benz, love it and the service is 5 star. Had an issue with the car that was an easy fix but delayed me transporting it, and they were kind enough to help me out with the additional unexpected expenses. Salesman Michael Lana very responsive even after the sale, and would not hesitate to buy or recommend to someone else.

Adam in finance is incompetent and unprofessional. He says that he will return your calls and NEVER does. He is quick to take your money but is ever so elusive when it comes to receiving a credit. Almost not worth the hassle. Went to have my back bumper serviced and brought in my other benz to receive ceramic tinting. They didn't want to give us a loaner car so I took my car and had it ceramic tinted elsewhere at half the price. They just lost out on business. Called me a week later to return the loaner car that I never had?! Not too organized. Great place to buy a car but would never suggest servicing it here, unless of course it is covered. Andrea Kass is a top notch sales consultant! John Kunz sealed the deal and I was happy! I spontaneously walked in one Saturday and left with a contract. I cannot say enough about Andrea but thank God for a confident, strong woman that knew her job. If it weren't for her I wouldn't be sitting in my beautiful car. You're the best Andrea and John!!

This was only my second lease with Helms Bro. and I was a little anxious because the original sales rep. in charge of my account had left and I had enjoyed working with her. However, upon arrival I was greeted my John Vass- and I am so happy I got a chance to work with him. Not only was John efficient but his knowledge base within the automobile industry combined with his years of experience with Mercedes created a platform that made me so comfortable and happy with my decision to work and sign another lease with Helms Brothers. With the support of his manager, Jean-Paul, John was able to place me in a beautiful 2017 C300. I LOVE MY CAR!! Not only is it beautiful, its the perfect upgrade from the CLA I was placed in before and John worked the numbers perfectly saying so saying no was an option. I can't thank John enough for his services and I advise anyone who wants to lease with Helms Bro. or maybe just looking for a new sales rep to give John a try- he was truly superb! This is an actual experience. Two days ago, my husband took our car in for a Service B appointment. It was told to us that they would not have to go in the trunk for the service, so he did not remove any valuables from the trunk. As a mechanic, he keeps his things close in case he has to help a client on the road. The service took upwards of three hours, in which no complaint was given as it is known that these things can take time. This morning he went to retrieve his engine diagnosis computer from the trunk and it was missing. It was clear that at some point during the service the computer was moved or taken. It was last seen by both of us prior to the service and not used thereafter. When he calls the service department inquiring if it was seen or taken, the receptionist first chuckled when she looked up the technician who worked on our car and said she will call him back. The return call was a suggestion to file a police report at the local precinct - no further help was given. It is a great disappointment to think that they will have a thief working among them, and encourage such actions by retaining that level of employee. The receptionist was not surprised by the complaint yet nothing further is being done. We spent an incredible $650 on the service and they took a $500 tip by taking his device. Take heed to not get your car serviced there as the technicians are not all honest and the company will do nothing to help. If you do have to go there, then PLEASE REMOVE ALL VALUABLE THINGS or at the very least itemize and document what you have in the car that way you have proof when things are missing.

My wife got S560 last year December with over $150,000. This car has a lot of problems. specially door could not open if I did not using key. 'NO KEY' entry does NOT work. I bring the car for repair several times. it doesnot work.

Helms bro misdiagnosed my vehicle when it's still in warranty and is not taking responsibility for that mistake. A simple sensor problem diagnosed by other mechanic shop was twisted to be oil pump leakage. 1 month later, engineer light came back on and they just turned off. 3 months after, when the weather became hot, same sensor problem came up again. Can't trust this dealership anymore. Be careful when you take your car in Update: It was even worse. No one touched my car for 6 months, nor myself, except Helms bros' technician. When I took my car to another shop, I was clearly told and showed evidence that one of module box cover was left half open and caused water damage to the module. I am not sure it was left open on purpose or being negligent, but don't want to deal with this dealer anymore. it cost me $1500 to replace that module box, so I definitely file it to NY consumer protection board. REMEMBER , DON'T RISK YOUR CAR.

My experience at Helms Bros. Service Center was superlative! Richard Grein and all of the staff are very professional; extremely attentive, friendly and courteous. The service on my vehicle, a 1996 C220 was performed promptly and was returned to me immaculate, inside and out! The waiting area and amenities are also a nice plus.

Hi Folks, My wife went to get an oil change. Turns out they hire salesmen at the counter waiting charge you big bucks. They sold her a general check up and ended up charging her upwards of 300 bucks to wash her brand new car and change some fluids. I understand the need for labor charge, but can this be justified? I wouldn't lease from here again. They clearly take advantage of customers who may not know better.

Called up their Services manager instead (Richard Grines or something) and left a message. still no call from these guys. Again, if Service is important to you, stay away from these jokers. My first Mercedes purchase and it was a winner. Mikey Mercedes made the transaction so easy and he delivered a great car, everything and more than he promised and it was a pleasure to deal with him. I did not get any of the sit for two hours while the sales person checks with their manager and then the number and deal changes, like I got at Freeport BMW and Millinium Honda on past purchases. . I highly recommend this dealership and see Mikey. He will make sure you drive out with the car of your dreams.

My experience was a horrible one in leasing a vehicle, had to wait months to get a response from Jean Paul (Manager) after going there and visited in person I never received a call. They change the mileage on a lease deal , from the original quote to get a lower price without informing us that the mileage was lowered. Sales person was Peter Fearon. UPDATE: Reached out to the General Manager and was told that I should of notice the change in the mileage and they will not be liable in part or in full. Funny how it took everyone else months to get the paperwork from the archives but in a matter of days they were able to pull it now, feels like we were hustled. This was the worst customer service I have had in purchasing a Mercedes Benz. I'm taking my business to Rallye of Roslyn.

It was my first time leasing a car of any kind and I was very pleased with the level of service, especially from my dealer, Herman Ospina. He was pleasant and kind, helpful and always did his best to answer all questions I had. There was a small issue with the arrival date of my leased car but he solved the problem for my very readily and I was extremely happy with the prompt arrival of my car. I've emailed a couple of times with questions and Herman's always replied within the hour. I also received a number of phone calls and emails, both from the secretary at Helms Bros and from the Technician that will be in charge of all maintenance of my vehicle. Let me preface this by stating I don't usually write reviews often but in this instance I felt that the exceptional service provided to me definitely warrants attention. There's a reason why I chose to come out all the way to Queens despite having a Mercedes Benz in Brooklyn, professionalism. I recently purchased a c43 from Helms Bros because of how simple the process was. I called Helms Bros after being hung up on by MB of Brooklyn when inquiring about the c43, despite telling two different staff members of MB Brooklyn that I was able to test drive the coupe version the previous Friday and would like to setup a test drive of the sedan version. MB of Brooklyn's responses were "we don't test drive those cars" and "it's up to the managers discretion". Which in reality doesn't make much sense since if you want serious buyers, you'd think you would allow them to test drive the car they're interested in but whatever... When receiving my call at Helms Bros, I was immediately directed to a knowledgeable staff member, Mr. Michael Altamura. He took down some basic information and set up a test drive of the car I was interested in with no questions or hesitation. The process was very smooth throughout the purchase and he was more than accommodating and incredibly professional. If you're thinking of making a purchase/lease on a vehicle, be sure to do so here. Ask for Mr. Altamura as well, hes absolutely fantastic.

I had an unpleasant experience at this store. I believe the store is under new management and the manger I spoke was unprofessional (young guy) as well as the salesman who tried to rip me off Stampler. I was looking into down grading from a E class (65000) to GLC (50000) and I was told my monthly payments would be 639 that's 26 less than what I'm paying for my E class. I was highly offended by Stamplers ricdiclous number. Little did he know I had gotten a quote for the GLC at Mercedes in White Plains; which now I know was reasonable offer 539. After I told them the quote I was given by Mercedes in White Plains, the manger told me that my numbers weren't real and why I didn't buy the vehicle from them. Well, any good buyer shops around first for the best deal and secondly, I do plan on going back to Mercedes in White Plains to purchase my vehicle. Response to GM: The vehicle was in transit, that is why Mr. Stampler or your rude manger didn't see the vehicle in question. Instead of attempting to meet me or come close to the quote I was given at White Plains, I was told I was making up numbers. Calling a customer a lair I believe qualify them as unprofessional. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Within first five minutes, I found myself being pressured into narrowing down on the exact model without being given adequate information such as pricing or the trade in value of my current Benz. After I asked if the price was negotiable, the salesman called his manager who rudely asked me if ever owned a Mercedes? (I don’t know if this was rhetoric or ignorance as I was trading in a Benz). I moved to a much more honest and a more courteous dealership found at Rallye Motors Long Island where I got a great deal on multiple cars.

I had come into the dealership just starting to shop around Kelvin kindly greeted us and answered all our questions we then decided to leave because we had just began our search. Kelvin had called me a week later to follow up with me and that shows a person really cares about your business. I drove down from Albany the next day (where I work) and experienced the best experience from beginning to end. Kelvin set us up with a test drive and sure enough I was sold. At the actual time of delivery he took his time to explain and show me features of the vehicle. I brought my Mercedes in early to the parts department on saturday june 9th for a replacement key fob etc. They sent me to the service dept upstairs where Jackie Wong met me. He was extremely attentive to my needs knowledgeable and courteous. he knew I was going to go work after this visit and he took care of the programming of the new key fob quickly. He also volunteered to drop of the " manual " inside key to my home as to save me the time of another trip > When that key arrived at Mercedes he did drop if off at my home. That was greatly appreciated by me as it saved me a lot of time. As a sales mgr in my job I greatly appreciate when a employee goes above and beyond to satisfy the client's needs.

Maurice was very helpful in terms of picking out a car and pricing and most importantly he was very precise (honest). He was persuasive but not pressuring, unlike some sales rep, they tend to be pushy and impelling, which makes me uncomfortable; however i did not experience that with Maurice.
