Was car shopping there as my family is planning on buying a new car in the near future. In the words of Orwell I felt like an unperson as no one wanted to assist me or answer questions. I get that there are plenty of "lookie loos" at car dealerships who have no desire to buy, but it comes with the territory and you need to treat all as potential buyers. This will definitely impact whether we purchase a BMW.

Poor service paid 1095.26 for hub bearing installation that I explained to them that had already been installed by another body shop. Zachery was terrible at following up to make sure everything went well. The car still has a noise that they ensured that the car was good, take your bmw elsewhere. They do not know what their doing. Absolutely trash service. Bmw my have a good product but their customer service is the terrible.

Just Leased a new 2019 X3 40M. Great experience from start to finish. This store being owned by BMWNA has a strong Sales Staff, Process and are extremely sharp top tier Pros. Took me almost 3 months of homework, test drives and finally decided on the X3. This is my first BMW from this dealership, and they did a very good job. My sales is Greg Pol who is as far as I can tell, the most knowledgeable and actually honest car salesman that I have ever known, not only he gave me a incredible deal on the M3 but also made the whole process very enjoyable. I believe at the end of the day good deal is a good feel. The business manager I met is Wallace Leung, he is a very nice person and he will go above and beyond to help you with anything you need for the car. Also all the sales manager are nice over there. I love this dealership. I use to go to the one in white plains which is also great but this one is by far the best, the sales people are down to earth and far from snobs, their repair center is professional and on point, the prices for parts are slightly higher but my guess is because it's in Manhattan and it's also a flagship dealership.

Terrible experience/ lack of professionalism and arrogant staff. We have been prior BMW X3 owners looking to buy a larger car to accommodate our growing family. Showed up for our grab drive w our “client advisor” raised his voice in annoyance when we indicated the X5 we had explicitly discussed test driving didn’t have a 3rd row we wanted to evaluate for our child seat. Would recommend passing and going to NJ or upstate where the prices are lower and you don’t have to deal with sales folks who think they are God’s gift to car sales....

Drove from Albany to Manhattan and got a flat tire. They did not carry a tire for 540xi, which is a pretty common for a bmw. They plugged up the tire, by the time we got on the major deegan, the psi had gone tremendously. I feel like if I was a local customer who gave them business more often than I would have not been treating like this.

I recently had an issue obtaining the correct battery part number to replace my OEM battery. The issue went unresolved for several weeks. Frustrated, I contacted the Marketing Dept. at Manhattan BMW (where I purchased in 1999) and spoke with Louis Cortes. Long story short, Louis "solved" the issue the same day I contacted him! Louis was courteous, professional, and most importantly, responsive. A pleasure to do business with!

Poor communication; poor staffing; poor service When you think of BMW Manhattan, you expect that exceptional service would be the first phrase that comes to mind. This is the furthest thing from the case. Worse than that, this store is DIRECTLY affiliated with Corporate, and the manufacturer. To say that they don't have their act together, would be understating the matter. I made an appointment on Thursday November 15 to have my vehicle taken in for a diagnostic service. I explained to the rep clearly that I knew the issue, but that Corporate NA required me to get an "official" diagnostic performed, in order to have the vehicle assessed for goodwill assistance, as I was about 5 months out of warranty. The girl clearly stated that it would not be an issue. I woke up at 5 am on Friday to beat the morning traffic, and still ended up driving 2.5 hrs to get to my appointment on time at 8am. My rep was Christian. He promptly asked me if I was aware that Manhattan "Does not do diagnostics on Fridays". The attitude was very rushed, as if they are turning over sales. I was told that they could get to my car by Mon-Tue. I stated that this would be fine, as long as a loaner could be provided. Again, I am being rushed with an answer "Were you not made aware that loaners will not be available for 1-2 weeks?" I asked him to speak to the service manager, who promptly offered the option of dropping me at an Enterprise rental, and pay a discounted rate. I spoke with the service manager, who basically stated that if I knew what was wrong with the vehicle, what was the need for me to be there. I took my vehicle and left. I don't care if my other two BMWs are more expensive than this one, you simply do not act so blatantly indifferent to the miscommunication that you created. I will NEVER bring my business to this dealer again. They absolutely STINK. I found a better dealer on Long Island (omitting the name, so that the post is not considered bias)

First and last time I take my car here. I don’t want to bored you with detail, but an oil change should not cost $195. And should not take over 8hrs to complete when you drop it off. I will go to bmw of NJ and pay the toll and gas and will still save money. Two stars just because the people were very nice. But cmon No one should ever paid that much for an oil change. Unless you have an exotic car.

If you’re going for service, they have worst services. A service advisor FRANK tried to make me a fool, when I have visited on their service camp. I got 3 of 4 tires of my BMW 750 last month, he recommended me to change the same three. I disagree to change as he advised, they made my car engine leaked and handed over me with more problems. Never go back again.

If possible avoid for your maintenance. For my last oil change they underfilled my M car and on my way home my car warned me of crictically low engine oil. This time they stripped a bleeder screw on one of the brake calipers and wanted $400 to fix it. The best: when I picked up the car, the cashier asks me “are you aware of the total? “ instead of telling me what I owed them. A quiz I thought! They have some good guys working there but my overall experience is not good. Better get your work done outside the city.

Service here is a complete joke. The service team either doesn’t care about its customers or are simply incompetent. I drive a i3 and needed a 12V battery changed before it completely went dead. My service manager Frank said it wasn’t available and needed to ordered it. He said upfront it would be a week. After one week no call and could barely get a hold of Frank. After a few more days I booked a same day appointment with BMW of Ridgefield in Connecticut. Drove 1.5 hrs away from the city just to get a battery changed. Ridgefield was able to do it in 2 hrs. As of 2.5 weeks, still no call from Frank. I live 20 mins away from the Manhattan location but was willing to drive to another state just for service. I think that speaks for itself. I’m never going to this sad excuse for a BMW service department again.

My first experience at this dealer not even a week after buying my M2 competition and to say it was a bad experience is an understatement. I went in for a nail in my tire for which I was covered with the wheel and tire coverage I purchased not even a week ago. First I get told that I may have to pay out of pocket after just spending $2500 on this tire and wheel coverage less than a week ago. Long story short that gets sorted and my tire gets changed, over 3 hrs after I drive in but, it gets changed none the less. I finally get the car back and they apparently washed it. Not a big deal and unexpected. The same tire that was changed was left dirty with the tire mount goop. Whatever that gets wiped off and cleaned. The dent on the hood that the tech put in closing the hood for god knows what reason does not wipe off so easily. Now I’m upset. I deal with the advisor and service manager and they tell me to come back to have their pdr guy fix it. Another day i have to spend at the dealer. Great. To the dealers credit it was fixed and I was in and out in maybe 40 minutes. The main reason for my 1 star review is the following: upon mounting the tire to my wheel which let me remind you is less than a week old the tech puts 3 nice sized scratches and gouges in my BRAND NEW WHEEL. I am now certifiably furious. I call the advisor and they do own the damage and say that the best they can do for me is a repair. Which also means 2 additional days without my brand new car to have damage repaired that they caused. Needless to say I do not think a repair is the appropriate repair avenue for such a brand new car. I came in with a BRAND NEW wheel which was less than a week old. Not a repaired wheel. I do not feel comfortable leaving my car another second there so either I eat the repair, deal with the damage that THEY caused or purchase another set of wheels and deliver the one damaged wheel to the to be repaired. Not exactly the way I expected my BMW ownership experience to start nor the way I expected to be handled at BMW’s flagship Manhattan store.

Since I bought my first BMW in 2005 to this day I visited this Dealer about 100's of time like to change the oil and all that services or simply change the tires. Maybe few times I had some issue with this or that, but the most important thing is that this Dealership listen to the customer. The Manager-Joe Rocker is right person in right place and his intention is to help customers, that's why I only service my cars there. For the last few visits I work with Christian Nguyen and I want to Thank him for outstanding service he gave me. Not only he reserved loan car for me, but he keep inform me every day about the status of my car. And I need to add that my last case wasn't easy and maybe even BMW of Manhattan wasn't sure if I (customer) is right, but they did everything they could to make customer happy (me). If you’re 25 or under DO NOT go here. I reserved a loaner car while making my appointment, as I have done in the past at other dealerships. Considering I am 23 and own, not lease, my car, I should be entitled to the loaner promised. With this being said, unfortunately this was not the case. As I was checking out with my loaner the loaner department asked my age and I responded, and was then informed that I could not have a loaner after waiting at the dealership for an hour going through the drop off process. This should have been told to my while attempting to reserve the loaner. It is obscene that loaners are available only for those over 25. Every other dealership is 21+ and this was an extreme waste of my time. I do not plan to return to Manhattan BMW.

Very friendly receptionist and thanks to Michal he helped us out on a matter with pepboys which they messed up so badly that they had to buy all pieces needed to put our Bmw back together again, they had our car for a week with a different story everyday. This is a review for BMW Motorrad of Manhattan. The motorcycle section here is great. Friendly and helpful staff. I haven't used the service department for mechanical work because I do most of this on my own. However, for work I don't like to do (changing tires) or can't do (NY state inspections), I've always been satisfied by their work. I come here mainly for motorcycle parts and the parts dept. and staff is excellent! They've always come through for me, even with obscure parts. They get parts shipped fast, fast. Prices, well, that's the usual BMW owners tax you just have to deal with. Good place for BMW motorcycles!

Worst e-car money can buy, you can save $50 a year which is 13 cents a day, and you pay $80k for this car. They are liars, they do not know the difference between a 2018 and 2019 version of the car. They decide that they're the same and have no difference. You have to charge the car for 9 hours to drive 7 minutes. They should sell furniture, not cars. This car is a FRAUD, absolute worst car, money wasted. I had dealt with Adrian Turek & Lucas Sienkiewicz.

Not everyone speaks to you. Large lot of vehicles. For a facility in the city, it's very nice to have a free parking option. My sales person was great but i didn't get any perks for purchasing a vehicle worth over 130k. I guess New Jersey and White Plains have the better dealerships. But all around, not a bad experience.

I just picked up my new to me 2016 R1200RT w/ only 154 miles on it. I completed the purchase on line with Diego. His patience and focus made it work in spite of some time and weather challenges. When I arrived with my trailer this morning it was fueled, prepped and ready to go. Diego spent considerable time to try and advance my bike knowledge 30 years since I am still riding my totally analog 85 K 100 (well it does have an ECU) I appreciated the time. In addition both he and a couple folks from the shop came out to help load the bike on the trailer and ensure it was ready to face the potholes of the city and the 7 hour transit back to VA. Forget this dealership and their service department. A whole bunch of people that don`t value customers and making it seem like they are doing you a favor. Called Zach Gessay my service adviser after having a busted rim and a tire, left him a message because he never picks up his phone, guess what he never even bothered calling back. I figured, I`ll also email his boss Jason just to speed up the process hopefully a little. Well, his boss never replied either. It`s been 3 days now. I gave this dealership plenty of opportunities to fix their issues and keep me as a client. I`m officially done with this place. This is by far the worst dealership I`ve been to. They make it all eye appealing to you and have all these luxury items in the lounge but their service is just miserable. If you are in a problematic situation and don`t know how to fix it DO NOT RELY ON THIS DEALER. Thank you but no thank you.

Had an appointment set up for 11:30 am but had to wait for 45 minutes to drop the car off. On the following day to pick up the car I had to wait 25 minutes for them to bring the car to me. To top it off they damaged the car and said it was brought in that way. Thanks for returning my car in worse shape - great service :(

UNORGANIZED AND UNHELPFUL STAFF!!! I took my i8 to the dealer to get my fuel tank fixed since there was a recall on them. The person who took care of me Christian was very nice and helpful. I had to leave my car over the weekend because the job was estimated to take 2-3 days. I returned on Monday night to pick it up. Christian had called out sick on that day and I was told that a person named Glenn was going to take care of me. I got there and spoke with the valet attendant and he told me that Glenn wasn’t there. I then headed to the front desk and the lady was confused. She called her coworker over and the other one did not know how to check me out and they were both wondering where my paperwork is. One of them goes and tries to look for someone else then they discovered that Glenn was there the whole time. They directed me to his office and he was on the phone. Finally after around 40 minutes of them being confused and unorganized, I received my car. I opened the door and couldn’t find my key. I asked the valet guy and he said it was in the car and I looked again and couldn’t find it. He told me to search again without even offering to help. I finally found it hidden behind the steering wheel. Like I’m expected to go search the heck out of my car to find my key. Then I noticed the inside of my doors were wet. I asked the valet guy why my doors are wet and he said because they washed it. I said I didn’t ask anybody to wash it and if they did why didn’t they dry it. There’s water inside my car. He didn’t offer any resolution. I then noticed that my front camera was cracked more. When I dropped off the car there was a little crack that I showed to Christian. The crack is now 3 times larger. I am not sure if they tried to replace it and cracked it more or if it happened during washing it. This place is so unorganized I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it during washing or trying to replace it. I am so annoyed and unhappy with their services. I don’t recommend that anybody goes there. Unhelpful and unorganized staff.

Kate was the best car salesperson I've ever worked with. She was straightforward and to the point. No BS. Her manager was also very clear about additional offers. The whole experience was great and very efficient and I am not an easy customer, so they handled me very very well. Everyone in the showroom and the office is also very nice and professional. I dropped my car off to the dealer for a bumper repair and a burnt oil smell that was lingering on my car from a recall job that was performed on my car no more than a month ago. To make a long story short, when I went to pick up my car - I had an additional 58 miles on my car. The service manager, Joe Rocker, stated that was standard amount of miles. When I first brought my car into this dealership 5 years ago, my car had been driven for 60 miles, for a drive test. My car was tagged at time of service was 49987 when I picked up my car it had 50045 miles. I filed a complaint with BMW of North America for excessive mileage on my vehicle. The attitude that was expressed by this service manager was inexcusable and incomprehensible. I expressed that I wanted a letter in writing in regards to whom had test drove my car, who had serviced my car as well as who had touch my car (I am uploading a picture of the letter that was given to me). I am going to small claims court to get retribution for the extensive mileage on my car.

Each question I had about the car is followed by an answer with an attitude. I never thought I could be insulted by a car dealer, but I did. Garbage service department . Charged 200 dollars and kept my car for a month, couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it . Showed up week after week asking for the car and no one knew anything . Service manager doesn’t know how to treat customers, just sounds like a broken record . 2014 BMW X5 . Had a separate issue that was under warranty that they also couldn’t address on a convertible roof . Car was there 29 days this time, plus a scratch on the body they had to fix was another 2 weeks . 2015 bmw 435i convertible . If you like actually driving your car, take it somewhere else, cause these people are clueless . Can’t speak for the sales department, but service is awful . Stay far away .

I purchased a 2015 BMW with original factory warranty until the end of 2018. I called these guys to schedule an appointment and was told that my warranty will cover any repairs and maintenance the car needs, When I got there, I saw all the glitz and baling and matrix like surroundings and my stomach started to sink, "someone must pay for all this sh**t" Was my thought. Surprise surprise, I was told by the employee that "maintenance does not travel with the warranty" IN DIRECT Contradiction to what I was told on the phone, and she proceeded to tell me that the estimate for the oil change that, "the car is due for" Is 200 $!!!!! I walked out.

Delivered car with wrong trim. Offered to redo the entire car but I’d have to wait for 6 weeks. Offered 500$ back as an apology. I took it as I didn’t want to wait 6 weeks and it was a lease. Overall pretty amazing that something so basic as the cars trim could be delivered incorrectly and the salesperson did not even realize until I pointed it out.

Nice showroom, good service & great lounge; however like with most car dealerships, they're charging you a 20-30% overhead. It can get very expensive, very fast with just the stroke of a pen. Shop around, do your research. Sometimes it's worth driving 45 minutes.

Took my car there for a recall on the blower. They kept the car 3 months then I get a call saying come get it. They literally left the car in worse shape than I gave it to them as you see from the pictures. That is the blower they "fixed". They I assume jumped the battery and just left that as it was. There was no coolant after they were done so I had to pay to get that fixed. The mirror suddenly is broken. They have nasty condescending staff. The seems to for get he actually only works at BMW. They when you contain it was well bring the car back (I don't live close including across a $15 bridge) and we will wash it for you for the inconvenience. They never agreed to fix all the stuff they left as you see in the picture. That I ended up getting done myself. Don't buy from them or take your car there. the picture is worth 1000 works.

My review is regarding only their Service dept which is excellent. Have gone in a number of times for my regular maintenance duties and found them to be quick and accurate. All the service advisors have been friendly and professional. Probably the only time I can think of where I've had a positive experience with a service dept. Keep up the good work!

Be careful when purchasing a used car from BMW of Manahattan. All of the cars look brand new because they do touch-up painting. They had me sign an acknowledgement that the bumpers had been repainted. They didn't tell me that they did a very cheap paint job and that the paint would wear off in less than one year, revealing a very marked up front bumper. You would think that a luxury car dealer would do a professional job...

Will they up-sell you something before you go - probably, but that's their job. Will you be treated professionally with great work and service - yes, and that's unfortunately not as common as it should be. Also, we had our car detailed and they did a great job, erasing the additions and subtractions contributed to by my 4 yr old. I was surprised by the results, great work.

I see plenty of one-star reviews, and I am not going to lie it gave me pause before arriving. I know each person has their unique experiences but I had just purchased a CPO 2015 X1 from a dealership in NJ, but I live in Manhattan. Two weeks after I bought the car I got an engine service light on my way to a friends wedding! We pushed our SOS button and found out the car was in lower power mode and its likely something small, they told us to take it to BMW of Manhattan and because its CPO under warranty everything would be taken care of... and ... it was... I was so mentally ready to fight at every level, assumin the worse to come, and I can't lie it was a smooth seamless experience. I pulled up and was met by Kelly who gave me relief that whatever they find will be fixed, and at no charge, they also got me in a courtesy vehicle and back on the road all within the hour, still made the reception on time. My car was ready two days later with a new set of spark plugs and a fuel injector, and the bill.. $0. No catch, no tricks, and an accommodating staff. Kelly was a rock star who kept me up to date.

I purchased CPO BMW that had some break noise and vibrations, I originally brought it to the BMW dealer in Delaware that I purchased it and they advised they would only do the front brakes despite that you can hear the issue with all the brakes.
