Let me begin by stating that this experience was not great compared to most. I purchased my 2015 Kia Sorrento directly from Kia in Santa Fe, I have always taken my vehicle to them. The week of July 5th, I took my car in for an oil change, when the employee came to inform me that my tires needed rotation, prior to giving my ok I informed him my pressure sensor light was on and that I had put air and the sensor light was back on, could he please make sure the tire didn't require repair. He said "no" we put air and all is fine. Once again the sensor light was back on in less than 48 hours. I traveled over 300 miles with my grandchildren, long story short my tire lost air and had two leaks and required repair. Thank GOD I didn't have an accident with my grandchildren in the vehicle. I was not happy with Kia this go around.

I referred my mother to Santa Fe Kia because I am a faithful Kia customer and the service was awful. They did not pay off her old vehicle within 14 days as promised. They sold her old vehicle and still didn't send the pay off to her bank. Multiple phone calls were made to the dealership within a month and a half time span asking when the pay off would be sent because the bank froze her account and they said the payment was sent, a week later we found out they lied and never sent the payment. It took my mother and I to bring up the fact that we would get a lawyer involved for them to pay off the car. I called the manager Adam to request a new temp tag for my mother because her current one had expired, I also informed him that I was not happy with their service and he hung up the phone on me. I will never go back to this dealership. I did not feel like they were helpful or even cared about the issues that were happening.

Stay away from these sleaze-balls. I have nothing against Kias, I have, directly or indirectly, owed three. However, Kia of Santa Fe gets zero stars. We purchased a Rio here two years ago. They made all kinds of promises, none of which was true. The one about if we bought it back within two years with reasonable milage and condition, they would buy it back are give a trade in value with a depreciation of less than 10% per year Today I went in today with just under two years after the original deal. They offered me 50% of the price I paid and 25% less than CarMax. They said it was due to the damage the car had sustained. ( it was damage that they fixed before we bought the car). Stay away under all circumstances.

Backwards. Total EV, hybrid deniers. Young kid who helped us was nice, but obviously not well trained. Lot of BS excuses why they don't stock EV's. Used vehicles pricrs we're all over the map. Almost as if they don't know you can look a KBB price in 20 seconds. I'd just avoid.

I bought a Kia Optima 5years ago. Stated having problems with the acclerator 2 years in. When I reported it they checked it said nothing was wrong. Still happening they decided to trade in for another basic Optima and said come back in one year and we will upgrade to a better model 2 years later still trying . When you talk to them come in and then they slap you in the face with not returning calls, Or when you can talk to them we’re still trying. The worst of it was when I called the lady that answered said to another do you want me to tell her there in a meeting. Bottom line should not tell a customer basically leave and we will call you

Roger at Kia was awesome! I bought my Kia at Toyota of Santa Fe and there was a recall safety issue with the vehicle's engine that was not disclosed to me causing the engine to seize up while I was driving on the interstate. Toyota of Santa Fe, where I purchased the vehicle was zero help. Once I took it to Kia, Roger assisted me with the whole recall process and working with Kia customer service. Since it was a recall, Kia replaced my engine at no cost to me. Since I drive a lot for work, Roger helped me get a loaner vehicle to use in the meantime, again at no charge to me. A great experience at Kia!!

In spite of having it serviced prior to her departure at our local Kia dealership, my daughter's 2008 KIA broke down in Santa Fe on her way to visit family in southern Arizona. Laurence Taylor and his service people were terrific. Had replacement part shipped overnight and the repairs were completed in less than 24 hours to have her safely on her way. DONT GO TO KIA OF SANTA FE shady shady shady place...worst customer service I have ever had bought a car used but low miles 2 week after car broke down after a day in the shop no one knew what was wrong.. sales managers wouldn't even tell us their names.. wanted out of the car but had no more money to put down why should I put more money down when they sold a Lemon. They said they would see what they can get is into but after waiting an hour they had not done nothing but take the loaner car they gave us n hide it with all out stuff in it.. the sales managers were screaming at my father they kick us out with no car nothing... DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE.... THEY ARE SHADY...

They also honored another dealers sale price on some accessories. When I went in the entire process took less than two hours to negotiate, do paperwork and finalize the deal. I have a sound coming from my engine. A knocking. Took it in and they said since i put an aftermarket oil filter on it caused damage to the engine...after doing research and seeing all the recalls thats going on between Kia and Hyundai and why they are being recalled it sounds exactly like the problem I'm having. Took it in again and they said they would look at it and diagnose the problem n prove it was the filter. I left it there all day and they didnt even look at it. I even called corporate that day to make a complaint and they called the dealership and spoke to service and they said they were in the process of diagnosing it now. Which they never did anything. Unacceptable. The Service Department is awful!!!!

When having my 2014 engine recall done, I took my car into my local Kia service provider at Santa Fe Kia. Worried that my engine would give out I wanted to make sure i would take it in to get evaluated so I wasint stranded on the side of the road, as I commute with my car daily. When I took it in it took one hour for the recall testing to complete and I got the car back as it had passed the testing. A day later my car started to plume smoke upon acceleration. I called kia of santa fe to no one answering the phone so I could have this looked at. After the smoke subsiding and things seemingly okay, Driving down I-25 my car lost power and started to knock heavily. Being the sceptical person I am I checked my oil that Santa Fe Kia changed for me, and it was as if my car decided it didint need oil anymore and burned of 5qt of oil. After heavy contemplation I towed it to Pitre Kia just up the road, and had their service team evaluate the issue. Once the service tech started the car he could immediately tell that this issue was caused by my recall. I am currently waiting on my car to be repaired by Kia free of charge because of my troubles and was provided with newer Kia till mine is ready. TLDR; Santa Fe Kia refused to honor my recall, and caused my car to fail on the side of the highway.

My first experience with Santa Fe Kia was really great. I had an issue with my door and they fixed it in less than 30 mins without an appointment. I came for a oil change service on my vehicle and they notified me I had an oil pan leak. I was very impressed when they had me go out to my car with them and they actually showed me where it was leaking. Working with Fiesta Kia in Albuquerque before, I WILL NOT be back over there. We went there prepared to buy a car but were treated like we were second class and that they would only begrudgingly deal with us. The manager Bobby made it clear he did not think we were worthy of the vehicle and assured us he would sell it at auction. He wanted a commitment from us before he would even let us drive it. I have a credit score of 830+ and I spent much time and 3 test drives at SF Kia with a salesman who disappeared mid-visit. I moved on and have still not bought a car, but a week after my visit SF Kia sent me a letter that they had received negative credit info about me and they would no longer approve the deal they had originally approved. I called to understand what this was all about, spoke to 2 sales guys, a sales mgr, and a finance mgr. who knew nothing about this and eventually claimed this letter did not come from them at all. I made numerous efforts to talk to the owner but he was "too busy" and refused to call me back. All I can assume is because I didn't buy from them they don't want me buying from anyone else, and made an effort to torpedo my credit score, after having run a positive report when I shopped there. I am not interested in doing business with anyone operating like this, and I have filed a complaint with the FCC. I bought many new cars over many years and have never run into this.

When my trusted personal mechanic told me how much a break job for my car for both front and rear, I was blown away by the range of normal cost to worst case senerio. What in heaven's name drives that cost? Do I have hydraulic breaks (confusing shocks with breaks)? I knew I didn't have ABS breaks, so I was baffled and unable to substantiate the cost reflected in the qoute. When internet search failed to answer my questions, I knew my only recourse was the dreded dealership. I have had so many bad experiences with GM dealerships, I never even considered taking my Kia to the Santa Fe Kia Service Center for maintenance. Kia Santa Fe changed my thinking. I just went for information because I am committed to my mechanic. The best case senerio was consistent with my mechanic, but I only needed rear brakes. My mechanic probably would have told me the same at the time of the work, but because of my surprise when he quoted the rate, I believe he rudely hung up on me, especially since all subsequent calls went to voicemail. I took the opportunity to compare oil change price and learned that Kia's rate was as much as $40 less than what my mechanic was charging me. Besides giving the vehicle a once over, Kia rotates your tires when the oil is changed. Wow! After my brake job, they washed my car! Wow, again. I expected to wait out the two hours in the customer lounge, but they offered to take me home and to pick me up when the car was ready. I was delightfully surprised. Both trips were quick and easy. Before I even returned home from retrieving my car, I had recommended Kia Service Center to two people who don't even drive a Kia. I recommend that if you are gun shy with dealership service, consult Kia's before having your mechanic work on your vehicle. Compare prices and service amenities before making a choice. If you have been looking for a reliable mechanic and reasonable rates, take your vehicle to Kia Santa Fe on St. Michael's. I think you will be as delightfully surprised by the rates and the service, as was I.

Just bought a Kia Stinger GT from them, they promised that on a premium car like this that I would get special care. Had an issue with the paint, took it in 3 times asking, each time I was told they would call me. Weeks later no one ever called me back. Went back to buy a top of the line Sportage. Didn't have the color we wanted so we asked them to get one, they said yes, yes, sure, sure. No one called us back, we called them and they would say "Oh theres one in Colorado we can get, I will send you pictures", no pictures would come. Kept call and asking and nothing, no call no pictures, no car. That sale would have been in the bag and done in one hour if they would just do what they said they would. Also never got a call back on the paint issue after a months. Contacted Kia Warranty direct on the paint and they have been very nice. Contacted and ABQ dealer on the Sportage and they could get us the color we wanted within one week. Finally went in and made them talk to me about the paint at Kia warranty departments request. I was immediately told that they had a new service manager who was going to take care of me. He immediately told me in an abrasive way that the paint scratches were not a warranty issue even though Kia has a recall on paint on some of its Stingers (Which he also didn't know). Had to ask him more than 4 times to take and send pictures to the district manager as instructed by warranty dept. When he did he intentionally took the worst least visible pictures he could and said I would call me within 48 hours. Been more than 3 days now. Do yourself a favor and take the extra few minutes to drive to Albuquerque. My Stinger is a great car, don't let a crappy dealership ruin your experience.
