My last service with American Toyota was a highly regrettable one. I came in for an oil change and nothing further. 4 Hours later, a technician approaches me in the waiting room asking about the noise I was hearing at high speeds, which I had never said anything about. Then he proceeded to tell me that they had been driving my 4Runner out and high speeds on the highway to reproduce the “noise.” Which again, I had never mentioned I had problems with, this is when they realized they made a mistake. They also documented this in my vehicles legal documents and were unable to remove it from the invoice. The next service I received from American Toyota, they notified me that the tires had been over inflated and caused uneven wear. The only place that adjusts my tires is this dealership which tells me that they also over-inflated my tires on my last visit. I can’t forget to mention that they’ve left my tire tools in the back and did not place them back in the proper location and were just rolling around when I drove away. This will be my last visit with this place, highly disappointed and I don’t recommend.

I hate this place?? Waiting room is always full because they overbook. Poor job taking care of the vehicle, dash scratched up. So two weeks ago I got this “concerned” follow-up call from the so called customer service rep and response on google. Folks its all for show!! I sent my text with the picture and to date....chirp chirp chirp!! No response!! Stay away from this place!! This review is actually no Stars!

I wish I could give a negative star as we had a very bad experience. We had an appointment to test drive Camry hybrid 2019 XLE . We liked the car but during negotiation the sales person was not ready to negotiate and asked us if we could get the title and tax by ourselves than he could give the car in our price which we didn’t accept and then the next day we again called the sales guy but they had the same answer . I won’t ever recommend my family or my friends to this place.They are not customer friendly nor ready for negotiation. If ever I have to buy a car again than I will keep it as my last option if possible which I assume will never happen ever.

The service was done fine, but my antenna was broken off when my vehicle was washed; no one noticed at LHM. I discovered it later that day and brought the vehicle back the next day to have the repair done. I had noted that I did not want my vehicle washed, but it was anyway.

On Monday June10,2019 I arrived at American Toyota ten minutes before my appointed time of 10:30 AM. This was a routine service visit. Upon my arrival, I was immediately greeted with a smile and friendly salutation. My service advisor for this visit was Jesse Contreras. Mr. Contreras was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained all procedures fully, clearly and concisely both before the work began and upon completion, including any costs involved. My little blue car passed with flying colors.

I had to bring my RAV here to get a recall on my airbag fixed. The staff at the garage were great, and even helped fix a leak in my transmission. The sales staff here can be a little big headed though, with only money on their minds but hey, what kinda car salesman would they be if they weren't?

What I didn't appreciate was getting a flyer from Tillery GMC Buick in my glove box about wanting to trade for my car, considering that Tillery GMC Buick is currently giving my family the runaround in regard to their vehicle. I felt like I was being trolled in this situation, because why am I getting a flyer from Tillery when I went LHM American Toyota???

I was here for a RAV4 hybrid limited. The sales rep Adam was outright rude and arrogant to us. He didn't seem interested in selling the car at all. We are new to Toyota and didn't know what to expect but basic research. When at the end of the year drive he said if we liked it and we said no he seemed surprised like we were supposed to be in love with the car already. With the way we got treated I would not recommend this dealership to anyone unfortunately.

We had a great experience with Larry H. Miller Toyota. We were just "researching" and ended up on the lot. Roger (who we HIGHLY recommend!) greeted us, listened to exactly what we were looking for, (did not try to show us or sell us something we were not interested in) and immediately took us to 2 vehicles that fit our needs and wants. The financing process was easy, though the up-selling of services made the process take a bit longer than expected (I get it, its their job!). Drove off the lot with an amazing 2019 Limited 4 runner. When someone is purchasing an item as expensive as a vehicle, they need time to think about it. Even overnight. This was HIGH PRESSURE, and we couldn't seem to leave without appearing rude. I wish I had just been rude and told Clay that I was going to think about it whether he wanted me to or not, and then walked out. He doesn't care about someone's ability to make the payments. That part is not his problem. He only wants the commission and glory from making the sale. I will never do business with them again.

Long story short, we were missinformed about the vehicle we were interested and in contract with. When we confronted John Brummet about it, he referred us to his manager Matias. He then said they didn't want our business because we weren't "happy" and breached our contract. Come to find out they already had another buyer who was offering them more money and apparently was grinning from cheek to cheek.These are the typical money hungry salesmen you want to stay away from!

Bought a brand new 4-Runner. I got it serviced for an oil change and was told it would be $80.00 for the change. I was already there and took the time to go down there so I agreed, even though that it was over priced. After my service I noticed that the low pressure light was still illuminated. This told me that the tech did not check the lights during the routine inspection. If he didnt do that, did he change my oil?? I left a bad survey and was called back by Lori Rite. She said she would follow up with me after a few days. She called back a few days later and said that I was essentially treated right and that I could bring it down for the air to be filled, if I wanted.......ya right. I tried to comment back of how I felt but was constantly cut off. I will not return for service or sale.

I just purchased a RAV4 using this Costco auto purchase plan. The process was simple and the sales staff, Clay and particularly Shane were pleasant, helpful and took their time with me. They also went out of their way to get me an add on for my new car. I really can’t say enough about these two and their professionalism. On the other hand, the financial experience felt vaguely shady. Before going to purchase the car I checked on auto loan interest rates at my bank and at the dealership as well as finding out the dealership used my bank as a financing institution. So, when I asked what the interest rate was just as I was preparing to sign the paperwork, the financial guy quoted a rate that was twice what I was quoted during my research! Of course I requested an explanation of which there was none! Then I insisted on using my bank which I pointed out was my original choice. I also explained that this all seemed dishonest as why would I choose to pay such a high interest rate when a lower rate was available. We finished up quickly but obviously carefully on my part. He was polite throughout. So, my takeaway on all this is the sales staff were wonderful, but get a pre-approved loan from an outside institution before you buy a car here.

I bought my car from them, my service is from them, and my tires are from them and they still didn’t care. we Are shopping for a new car now for my little sister and guess who no longer is a candidate for that? Never again. The service is horrible. If you "didn't make an appointment" you need to come back. If you did "make an appointment" you get in line, first come first served. The first time I took my Toyota in for routine service(an oil change which is tallied into your purchase price.) They lost my vehicle....i thought I was being pranked, when they did finally find it, the service had NOT been performed. The second time was a little bit different. They brought my car back with *an alleged oil change but a bright safety yellow paint flakes all over a fresh dent. After confronting them about the damage they said they would fix it for me in "good faith". Believe it OR not, there ARE OTHER TOYOTA DEALERS.

A very pleasant and efficient experience. Arrived from Florida with a vehicle strongly pulling to the right. Had to steer left to go straight. Went to the American Toyota Albuquerque to get a front end alignment. The problem was NOT with the alignment but with the tires. Switched wheels and the problem switched tin the other direction. They explained these things in detail...and did not try to sell me new tires. Overall very pleasant and unusual experience and Can only praise the efficiency and professionalism of the staff. They are very friendly and nice. I appreciate their attitude but I’m not able to give them 5 stars as the wait is way to long, I waited 2 hours for them to do a normal 5000 mile servicing. I had an appt so that is way to long. Also the car wash is kind of a joke as they must just hose it off as it always comes back dirty. I mentioned that to them but they said they aren’t really set up to wash vehicles. The coupon I used was advertised as 3 oil changes, checking fluids, etc plus car wash. Why add car wash to the coupon if they aren’t set up to do it??

They consistently take tire air caps and items from the vehicle. The air cap thing happens so often I took a picture of them on the car at the check in bay and and sure enough they’re not on when I pick up. Must be so prevalent that the manager is willing to buy me new ones every six months rather than hold people accountable. They redirect all issues to not being fixable. I have a warranty and stopped taking my car to the dealer because they Cannot be trusted.

I brought my RAV4 in for routine maintenance and to replace the door checks. The job was done in the time expected. They found some things that needed attention and we discussed which ones I would do this time and which ones could wait. Again, they were done when expected and the cost was what they quoted. I had the worse experience ever. I had appointment at 9 and I waited 2 hours and nobody told me nothing. The service man said my car was next. I asked for service manager he tells me they put in wrong service place not for oil change. Then he asked me well what do you want me to do. Didn’t even get oil changed and pulled my car out of there. What for make appointment if you still have to wait. To stay a other 2 hours there was wrong and not even am sorry. So I will never return again Poor services. After that you still want a star yeah right you deserve a zero.

I have never had a good experience here. The thought of having to go into the store for service makes my skin crawl. I went in Friday of a basic oil change. After waiting for an hour and a half, I was informed that they had not started on my vehicle yet. I explained to the person that was helping me that I have never had a good experience here, and how much I hate having to come in. After waiting another hour, my vehicle was finally finished. The person who was helping me offered me a couple free services for the mistake. I accepted. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that they were in a meeting. I feel that management should have been involved from the instant there was an issue. As I have stated before I have had issues here before and management has never gotten involved. If I had not received complementary oil changes, I would never return to this facility. I feel this is the slimiest car dealership in the country. I will never purchase a vehicle from here ever again.

I had a scheduled appointment at 9:30 a.m. to replace my Tacoma’s grill. This was the second time for same issue. The first time they checked it out and had to order the part. That was fine, but waiting 5 hours to switch out a grill on second appointment was unacceptable. To their credit they lent me a rental to go have lunch. I just wish I would of been warned ahead of time. It was a total waste of my day. I’m dreading going back for my first oil change now.

I purchased a used 2016 RAV4 with features I was looking for. The salesman Phillip was knowledgeable about Toyota vehicles , showed me options, and was comfortable to work with. The dealership is open, well organized, and newly renovated. The negotiations took a long time but eventually worked out reasonably well. The vehicle I choose was listed for $28.5 K on the windshield but when negotiations began they asked $30K . For a three year old deprecated vehicle I thought this was high by $6-7K . I didn’t understand why $1500 had been added to the sticker price but settled for $25.5 and have a vehicle I like. I recommend this dealership but I would do some research before walking in the door next time.

It's convenient to have the routine service fine at one place.But long wait even if you have an appointment. On my last routine service, they suggested I flush the brake fluid and fuel injection service. None of these services is on the maintenance menu. And my car is less than 45,000 miles

Scheduling was easy and everything was completed, fast and courteous. The Service manager with whom I interacted, Jesse Contreras, was wonderful to work with. One thing did not work out, however. We had scheduled a time when the paint touch-up person would be there, as we understood that minor dings and scratches would be fixed. My vehicle had two small nicks that I believe may have been from impacts from small stones. The service manager told Mr. Contreras that these were not covered. Hence, I had to buy touch-up paint and now have to fix these myself.

I am very happy with my new (to me) used Toyota Camry. Phillip was very helpful and patient as he took me to test drive several vehicles. I had my mind set on a 2018 and I wanted to keep the price as close to $20,000 as possible. After explaining the advantages of buying a 2019 Camry, Clay relented and was able to offer me a discount of $5000 on a used 2018. After the test drive, I was ready to sign the papers. The reason I'm rating this purchase as 4 stars and not 5 is that several calls to the finance office were not returned. Also there were unopened bottles of water and a pot smoking device under the driver's seat.

I have definitely noticed a significant improvement. When I got my car in 2010 I had to do oil changes at this dealership because they had been paid for up front. I had to schedule an appointment and the oil change would take 3 or 4 hours. (I was accustomed to coming at a time of my own choosing and being done in 15-20 minutes) I stored up a lot of anger and resentment during those two years. Now they have a new building. There are chairs with a wall outlet and a USB port. The repair for a safety recall actually happened faster than expected. The staff were courteous and helpful. I was very much surprised. I really should give them 5 stars. They definitely earned it. I can’t quite bring myself to do it. I suppose I still haven’t forgiven the past. Two years of missing a whole day of work for a simple oil change is a lot of anger.

TLDR: I have had consistent problems at this place regarding service appointments suggesting carelessness on the part of their mechanics. I have used this location to service my vehicle for the past 3 years (6+ times). Every time, except one, I have found oil residue left inside my vehicle. After the third time I contacted their service department by phone and was assured that "precautions would be taken to prevent this from re-occurring." Obviously these "new precautions" are meaningless/ nothing was ever changed. To me, this causes concern beyond the oil residue. Such a thing only happens due to carelessness, which makes me wonder about the actual work that is done on my vehicle. As a reference, this class of carelessness is below third-party mechanics, which is definitely not what you would expect from a dealership. This location has likely lost my business. I will try the other Toyota dealership, which seems to be under the same owner (possibly unfortunate), to see if their service department does not exhibit such carelessness. PSA: Because it's kind of unbelievable, and I've heard people signing up for it while sitting in the waiting room, the 3 oil changes "deal" that is offered is obviously a ripoff if you use synthetic oil, and most likely still a ripoff if you don't. There is no need to change a car's oil that frequently.

My friends say "why do you take your car to the dealership? you should use a 'cheaper' mechanic!". First of all, I say, you get what you pay for. Second of all, I've never had a repair be overly expensive, and I've never had a repair be super cheap. I'm not looking for "cheapest", I'm looking for a *reasonable cost*, and 100% confidence in the repair. I don't have the time or money to be going back to get something RE-repaired. I know at LHM it will be done right the first time. PLUS my service technician, Damiano, is always SUPER helpful. Recently I had a dead battery and I couldn't unfreeze the carriage bolts, so I had to have it towed in. Damiano scooped up my car on arrival, arranged to fix all the bits, and sent a courtesy shuttle to pick me the next morning so I could retrieve my fixed car. As a single mom, this was key for me as I had no other way to get there! The shuttle driver was also super nice and friendly. I love this place, the work they do, and the folks who do it. I wouldn't take my beloved Highlander anywhere else!

They were fantastic in providing the duration of the warranty including no charge oil changes. I work and live nearby. It doesn't get much more convenient than hoping in the shuttle after a quick coffee, some fruit or a fountain soda. I was home within 20 minutes of dropping off my vehicle. When I took my truck for an oil change they noticed I had a nail in my tire. I asked them if they could put my spare on and then I would deal with the tire issue later. I also stated I needed to be done by 12:15 because I had work at one. My service agent was understanding and tried his best to get it done. When he realized I wasn’t going to be done by 12:15 he recommended I get a rental so I can make it to work on time. The lady who tried to get me a rental was incredibly rude and would not give me any information about the situation. When I realized that I didn’t have enough time to wait for a rental I asked her to call my service agent to see if I could get a ride to work From the shuttle and I would figure out how to get my truck at another time. This is when she stared at me With no response to my question. I asked her again can you please call my service agent and this is when she said yes take a seat and I’ll get it done and rolled her eyes. I’m very disgusted with how she treated me and my situation. It should’ve been obvious that my situation was important if I was willing to just leave my truck there without having a way to get back to it since the dealership would have been closed when I got off from work.

If I could rate zero I would. After ordering a 2019 SR5 Tacoma and being promised the vehicle would be in within a month, would have steppers on it, and would be sold at buyers cost. Once I received the purchase agreement and was constantly called to come in to buy the vehicle, I was very upset because the vehicle did not come as promised. John Brummet did not like the confrontation and did not continue the the sale. Instead sent his manager Allen to tell us that they could get more for the vehicle and did not need our business. Would not recommend waisting your time here!! Go to a dealership where they actually treat you like customers not like a paycheck.
