After a night of heavy rain. There was a 1/2" of water in the passenger floor of our 2016 XC60. Very upsetting. Apparently for those of you who have sunroofs be on the look out for a small tube that drains the water from the sunroof compartment. If it gets clogged it will leak water into your vehicle and you'll be charged in my case 488.00. They are going to clean it out and remove the headliner, the carpet and dry the interior of the car. The manual doesn't say anything about it, regular maintenance check ups don't check for it. Very upsetting. Their car, their design my problem. They should be at least partially responsible. By the way the fix is on Youtube so its a well known issue I guess.

This place isn’t a place I would recommend to anyone with a Volvo based on my last experience with the services department. First of all they’re very rude and not informative. I took my car to get looked at and when I was there I noticed the way they prioritize people. The guy there didn’t inform us of anything he just took my car keys and walked off. He didn’t even tell my wife and myself to take a seat in the waiting area. Then when they were done looking at my car the guy gave me a ridiculous amount for parts that needed repair so we informed him that we will have to think about it and he said okay and he’ll get our car ready to go. We waited a while by the way. Then as we’re walking out he tells me I have to pay for the labor, when he didn’t mention any of this when we started. It caught me by surprise. I called the manager to let him know what had happened he basically was very disrespectful and rude and constantly talking over me. I’ve never experienced this before. They lost a costumer over their rudeness, not informative and disrespect.

Drove 2 hours in a rental to pick up a car upon them opening. It was filthy and had the alignment significantly off. They wouldn't budge on the price. We were told they would look at it and fix the issue. After waintg around for 3 hours they never looked at it and said to come back tomorrow. We'll I called the next day and they still never looked at it nor made any attempt to give me a time it could be looked at. All and all the sale manager is not commited to making sales and they had no respect for my time. They only got a 2 star vs a 1 star because Barbara our sales rep did a good job getting financing.

The whole experience of going through car leasing process was so smooth, clear and informative, just because of one person, Eric Gartley at Red Bank Volvo. Red Bank Volvo dealership itself is one of its kind; its different, energetic and everyone of the Red Bank Volvo team is always ready to help. Eric Gartley put "many stars" on all this at Red Bank Volvo. Our experience working with Eric was amazing and extremely positive. Eric is very professional, very knowledgeable and has great patience to answer all our questions, trust me lot of questions. He provided us with all the information we needed; to a level that he actually drove us to the new car lot to help us look & feel the difference in car features, interior and even the panoramic moon-roof vs regular moon-roof on the car. Eric kept us informed at every stage until we got the car and even after sale - he checked with us to ensure we are comfortable and loving the new car. The day we had to pick up the new car, Eric prepared all the documentation before hand to make "normally lengthy paper-work process" a pleasant experience for us and we were out with the new car in no time. I am about to purchase a new Volvo XC 90 , my salesman is Duane Washington, This will the second car he sold me. It is a total pleasure doing business with him. He is fully knowledgeable, will make the deal directly with you, without needing a third party, and makes the dreaded part of buying a new car a totally pleasurable experience. The service department holds up its part of the bargain. They treat their customer with a personalized service and a great deal of competence. It is no wonder why Redbank Volvo is older than most of its customers. Not me however.

Understaffed showroom with nobody to even greet at the reception. I had to wait for 10-15 mins and even then nobody was there to help me. Finally after asking a guy at he told all sales staff are full. Will not recommend going there unless you have a confirmed appointment

Be wary of Certified Preowned. Bought Certified xc60 and noticed car was pulling when we test drove it. We were told it was ok and could bring it back if still an issue. We live in south Jersey and have since have 3 flat tires. All tires replaces were already plugged at least once. Uneven tread ware on original tires. We have had to purchase 2 new tires since purchase and have been given the run around on service. Since we are over an hrs ride away to bring in to get service we have yet to do so It was services at a local Volvo dealer stating the tires tread were bad. Local tire store also stated these tires should not have been certified. In short displeased with certified preowned, Tires should of not been certified with the tread wear and plugs. You will be out of pocket to get new tires if you are in the same situation. Volvo should reimburse for new tires that were iffy to begin with.

We've leased 2 XC60's with Red Bank Volvo over the past 10 years or so. We've always found the sales staff there to be friendly and professional, with no high-pressure tactics you find with other car dealerships. They are honest and not pushy and we found negotiating fair prices for both sides to be a transparent, easy process. Always question the extra work needed on the car. Commissions are paid in the car industry. Funny how people don't like it in the financial industry but ok for cars. It's not the cost it's the question of unnecessary work. 15 years at this dealer and still feel the same.

Barbara Pospisil, salesperson, was the best I've ever dealt with over a 40 yr period. She demonstrated that she valued my business, way above my Acura dealership where I've 2 vehicles every 3 years for a decade. Her post-sale service has also been exception, spending quality time to help me understand the S90s technology. Kaynan Delacruz was my Service Advisor and he made certain that my concerns were quickly addressed and taken care of. He is always welcoming and gives full attention to his customers. I have been a customer at Red Bank Volvo for the past eleven years, and I have been helped for regular servicing as well as for emergency issues (nail in tire) many times. Kaynan and Andy and other staff have always been friendly, helpful and willing to solve the problem. I had written a poor review a few days ago regarding their business ethics. Sales never returned calls, as the 2 managers i emailed. They only returned a call after I had written a bad review. They called, so I deleted the review after giving them a second chance...that did not work out either. After a few discussions with Eric and Chris(Operations), I wanted to inquire about my trade. Chris figured the trade, on the Red Bank Volvo Web Site. The price ranged from 18K to 21K...my vehicle was like new condition, only 11k miles. I let them know I would be in on 6-10-19...figuring I would never get a high trade, but never get low balled due too the condition and mileage of the vehicle. In the dealership Eric met me and appraised my vehicle...with that, he told me the XC40 I wanted was sold Saturday(I did not expect them to hold the vehicle for me), but I did expect to make a deal as told him I wanted to make a deal in an email....he did not even have the decency to look up another vehicle for me on Saturday, knowing the XC40 was sold. After an hour, I received a low ball for the trade...even though I was told the car was in excellent condition, I got low balled. Eric said the site where they can look for alternate vehicles was down, but he did not seem eager to make a deal at all...he told me he would get back to me quickly...never heard from him...nothing...in fact, I never even received a return phone call. They never put a lease price together for me as promised. I can only guess they sell lots of cars and did not care to take in a trade. Their sales were rather lethargic at best..no manager even came to me when I told him I was leaving.....dealership was empty...I went over to BMW, and it was night and day...I shopped around for both cars, an XC40 and a BMW X2...walked into BMW, greeted by the sales manager, sat me down in his office, gave me a great deal on my trade, invoice on new car...walked out happy as anything. I had great experiences in the past with Red Bank Volvo..their new managers and salesman presently, I particularly don't care for...it all worked out for the best. I hope you all have better luck!

This dealership has consistently charged far more than other dealers for service. $2800 bill when Westport CT quoted $1000 for same list. Twice now. I would seek out other Volvo dealers. Last big bill $2300 (was desperate re location), I had issues immediately following and visited NYC dealer for emergency service. Something that should have been caught by these guys. They are "nice" and amiable but I would not trust them. This last round was obvious and sleazy.

I was greeted by a sales professional who asked what my needs were, if I required a test drive and if I needed ANYTHING, to help with a vehicle decision. If i could give them less then a star I would. I had to call a sales person Bob 4 times before they came back with a quote, he kept saying he will call back in 20 minutes not to be heard from for days, I called them again Thursday, Friday, Saturday told them I am ready to come in to sign the lease Bob and Peter both said that they will pull up my file and several days later still have not called back. It's like they are doing everything possible not to sell me a car. COMPLETELY unprofessional and very rude behavior, waste of my time. What type of sales person does not get back to a customer who is ready to sign a contract anyway????? just unbelievable

Service department is full of rude people. I called to see if they would change my tail light on my S40, they said yeah come on Down. I call back to get a price and they wouldn’t give me one until I got to the shop. I get there and I’m getting dirty looks from everyone. Sorry I’m not pulling up in a 2019 Volvo? Don’t look rich enough for you??? After standing around waiting for someone to assist me, I was asked “why are you here?” I told the gentlemen who sits all the way to the left that I just want a taillight. He rolls his eyes , looks over at my 2004 S40 then rolls his eyes again. After telling me a single bulb installation would be $45, I declined. Then had to wait for them to pull the car out in front of me, which they seemed to have purposely made me wait for them to do so. I will never be back!! Was going To bring my wife in for a new leased volvo but we will be going down to Manasquan! Worst service ever in red bank.

My sales consultant Bob Simons was the consummate professional. I never felt pressured from the minute I walked in the door the previous month to take a test drive. I appreciated his honesty after giving me a lease quote on the S60 I liked and telling me there were no incentives but can do a lot better in March which he definitely did because of dealer incentives and rebates. Bob also let me delay the paperwork and delivery of the car I wanted till the end of the month with just a small credit card refundable deposit which was then used when we finalized the deal. I also liked the fact that Bob made sure to explain all the details about my S60 so I felt confident enough to drive the car home. A truly enjoyable experience in car leasing and probably the smoothest one I ever had. Kudos to Red Bank Volvo and their sales consultant Bob Simons who I would highly recommend.

Being a customer now for the past 18 years, Red Bank Volvo has never let me down. Sales and service are completely integrated which makes both departments aware of there customers. Especially on my latest visit I had an issue that I completely feel was handled professionally and empathetically. My S60 was starting to show some wear on the interior leather that could have been viewed as normal wear and tear. I brought my concerns to the Service Manager Chris and he was attentive and professional with me. He asked me to be patient and will look into how he he could help me with this matter. Chris reached back out to me the next day to let me know how he was able to repair/replace my seat. Chris never made this matter inconvenient for me. I was able to handle this all through email with no unnecessary back and forth.
