We worked with Lou from the service department. After being told from a different Kia dealership that our problem was not covered under warranty, I explained the situation to him and upon his diagnosis with the mechanics, it was determined that our problem was covered under warranty. They also found an additional problem, not picked up from the other dealership and fixed that as well, under warranty. We were very pleased with their honesty and would recommend their service department to anyone who needs service.

I dropped my Kia for an one hour scheduled service. I was in an out in about half that time. Their service center staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their service center as well as their dealership( I purchased brand new 2015 sorento there few years back)

I would NOT recommend going here if you have less than perfect credit and have a co signer. Basically I know I have bad credit so I took my mother with me to co-sign and my mother expressed her interest in getting a car in the future so Chad Klotzkin flat out lied to us and said he could get us both approved. Chad Klotzkin told me and my mother he can definitely get us approved and he kept saying don’t worry you’ll leave with a car I matter what he had to do, he also said it’s the end of the month and he has to meet a quota so he will try everything to get an approval so When he took the info for my moms car he didn’t even care if it was correct she couldn’t remember a phone number so he asked for any number and said he didn’t care what numbers as long as there is one there he didn’t even bother to get my moms email address so now her information in his system is all wrong and with my email attached to it. I can tell you I sat there for three hours the first day just waiting the entire time he was telling me lies, closing time came so he said I’ll call you tomorrow when I get you approved you come in and leave with your new car. Next day he called me and that’s when the lies really started he told me he got me and my mother approved to bring in the trade in and down payment, I said I can’t come in if I’m not approved as I live an hour away he promised me I got approved to come in well I got there and he lied I wasn’t approved my mother was and I proceeded in sitting there another three hours with his lies and still left without a car. So in the end I absolutely DO NOT recommend anyone goes there

Just purchased our first Kia. We like mini vans but knew nothing about Kia. Consumer reports on line rated KIA mini vans as recommeded. We went to Matt Blatt KIA and Stanford Baddley, was our Transportation Needs Consultant. He was very nice about telling us about their vehicles and warranty. They were out of stock on mini vans but he showed us other models to judge quality and interior designs. He expected a delivery of mini vans and asked we would like him to call when they arrived. Standford called and we found we liked the model he showed us. The rest of the purchase process was much better than our last 4 new vehicle purchase processes. . They were sincerely interested in making this a plesaant experiece for us. Even the paper work was guick and easy No last minute push to get us to add other packages. Would definitely recommend Stanford and the Matt Blatt dealership.

Just bought a truck from here. One of the best, stress free experiences I had with car purchase. Jim Archiello was very honest with me throughout the whole process. I had an appointment to meet with someone at 1030, while I was waiting to get my car serviced. I went Into the showroom and waited for over 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. I even saw a woman who worked there and told her who I was there to see and she said ok?!? No results. I've been put off by this dealership ever since there were Tom's River Kia. They totally screwed me over. I went cause I wanted to see if this issue was under warranty and being it's now Matt blatt kia I said why not give it a try. Joe answered my questions and I was happy with that and the girl who I've always deal with in service is excellent. I can get the repairs done way way cheaper and now my check engine light is off and no one sees a problem ?!?! So I will always second guess Matt blatt unless it's under warranty. I doubt I will ever deal with them again unless it's an issue that is covered . I love Coleman Kia in ewing . And when I have time I do go there .

I had to give one star in order to even write a review. Buyer beware. I had to demand my car keys back because they took them to the finance desk while they ran numbers on a new car for me and then had their sales manager come in and try to intimidate me into buying a new car when I came there to buy out my current lease. The sales guy was decent but he didn’t care, the finance guy was honest but they tried to take advantage of me because I was shopping alone. Stay away!

First experience with buying a car from a dealer and obviously I was very nervous. You hear all the horror stories and bad experiences people have with car salesmen. I am glad to say that all of that was put at ease within the first minute of walking into Kia. My wife and I were immediately approached with a gigantic smile from a gentleman named Stanford. From start to finish he was on point with what we wanted, what we can afford and that we were comfortable the entire time and at no point that we felt like we were being pushed to make a decision we didn't want too... Absolutely awesome experience and awesome guy... Stanford Baddley will be my car guy for as long as possible and I will recommend him to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle...he will not stear your wrong, or make you get something you don't want. Called late Friday when I found out there might be a service bulletin issued for my 2011 Kia Optima (which by the way, I love) . I was told to bring the car in the very next morning and the reair was done and I picked the car up 3 hours later. Excellent and attentive staff , combined with closeness to my home (Manchester, NJ ) allowed me to get my car repaired and back on the road with minimal inconvenience. I highly recommend Matt Black Kia of Toms River. Everyone was professional and courteous. Their facility was clean and very welcoming. They even have a section for children to play with toys and books, which, as a mother, I found to be very impressive. I was given an approximation of a 45 minuet wait time for my vehicle to be fixed and it was done sooner than expected. I was extremely pleased with the result of the repair I had gone in for. The customer service we experienced was excellent. Derek, our sales rep, was very informative and helpful throughout the whole process. He even showed us how all the technology worked in the car during our test drive. There was no pressure from him to purchase a car, and although we had a lot of questions, he was very patient and made sure all of our questions were answered. Though buying a car can be time consuming, Derek made sure we were comfortable and even offered drinks and snacks from the vending machine while we waited. It was a hour and half drive for us to get there and I wouldn't hesitate to drive there again for another vehicle. Thank you so much for everything Derek and Matt. I had a service appointment this past Saturday for an oil change on my ‘13 Optima and as I was waiting for my car to be finished, I browsed the showroom floor. Within a minute, I was approached by Mike Todaro asking if I needed assistance. I told him I was eventually looking for an SUV since my husband and I are planning to start a family soon. He asked me what I liked and I told him the Sorento black with black interior. A few minutes later he pulls up with a ‘19 black Sorento and I immediately fell in love. Mike was so knowledgeable on this vehicle and showed me all the high tech features. We took it for a test drive and I told him to if he can make me a good deal, I’d be interested in taking it home. Long story short, he worked the numbers and made me feel so comfy with no pressure. He made the car buying experience enjoyable and I absolutely love my new car!! This is the best Kia dealership in my area, with a bunch of others to choose from. The staff was able to help me get out of my previous car, which seemed nearly impossible, and into a 2018 Optima S with a payment in my price range. If it didn’t work for me they went back and reworked it to make sure I was leaving the dealership happy and with a new car. It was a great experience except having to use my lease miles to drive 30 miles each way when the paperwork wasn’t ready the day of getting the car, and my co-signer having to drive 30 miles each way 3 times because paperwork wasn’t finished the 1st day & had wrong information the 2nd day.

I had needed a new car for quite some time but never got that right feeling from other dealerships I went to. As soon as I went to Matt Blatt Kia I knew I'd leave with a car. Marcus was extremely helpful, personable, knowledgeable, and made me feel at ease during what could be a very stressful time. I was was debating between a Sportage and the Soul, and Marcus was very easygoing when I felt the need to test drive four different vehicles--he didn't mind one bit. He even let me pick up my mom and bring her to the dealership with me! Marcus and the sales manager Phil were very patient and helpful when trying to choose the perfect vehicle for me and not pushy at all. I kept thinking about my future and wondering what car I would want then, but Phil made me realize that the Soul was the car for me at this point in my life. Phil even talked to my fiance over the phone so he could ask some of the questions he had, and Phil was incredibly nice and answered all of his questions. Once I made the decision the paperwork was quick and easy. I would not have wanted to buy my car from anywhere else. They make you feel so special there. At the end, they celebrate by making an announcement, cheering, and then they have you ring a gong-- great personal touch that makes you feel like you matter!
