Mr. Mark Rivera was the customer service rep who handled the paper work for my car, and with him I experienced possibly one of the best customer service all time. He treated me with absolute respect and professionalism. He was very patience, informative and knowledgeable about his craft. He told me exactly what work was needed to be done in my car, and how long it will take to be fix it. I had to leave my car at the service department, however, Mr. Rivera provided me with a loaner, free of charge by the way, until my car was ready. I will recommend Hudson Toyota 440, and specially, Mr. Rivera as a customer service rep.

This is a review of how Cynthia Cuevas and Mark Rivera worked with me while I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced at Hudson Toyota in Jersey City, on August 6th and on the 7th the following day, it was serviced. It was impeccable, that's an understatement, I was in and out. I love the way they treated me, they offer you coffee, and cappuccino while you wait, if you need to go someplace while you're waiting for your vehicle, they have a hospitality driver to drive you anyplace within the area @ no charge while you're waiting for your car to be serviced. I give Cynthia Cuevas and Mark Rivera the highest praise, for their diligence.and professionalism. The service was excellent and I will recommend them to anyone, everyone. I looked at a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder online from hudson toyota. When i got to the dealer i had noticed that the latch of the lift gate was broken and they TAPED it . The botton to press to open the trunk was pushed in and i could feel and see the wires. The salesman named lio did everything he could but his boss ( juan m) kept denying to fix it. He was very rude not once tried talking to me explaining why he couldn’t approve to fix this issue. The part cost $180 and the button cost $30. On top of that waited for hours so they can run the car through service for me to realize that the car had low brake fluids and other low fluids . Never put fluids in. The car was never checked for safety. Very disappointed

Just go elsewhere.... Service is nothing but a joke, nothing but problems every single time i go, and I keep asking myself why I go back. Just had my truck in for a TSB, was told that nothing is coming up matching my VIN. I told them I am looking online and even printed the TSB and can bring it in, they refused to look at it, went to another Toyota dealer (no names), plugged the truck in, the TSB came right up!! strange!! Countless of other stories, from me and family members....just stay away...don't bother no matter how convenient their location is.

I never write reviews but I think this warrants one. I bought a 2018 Toyota Camry in November 2018. I test drove the car, was satisfied, so purchased I the vehicle. There is a slow leak in one of the tires. Today is the third time I bought my concerns to Hudson Toyota. Each time is a different reason why im wrong. One reason was is cold outside si that affects the pressure. Any sensible person would know that if that's the case, all the tires will be affected at close to ther same rate. Today I'm told they will look at it but I didn't have tire warranty. I purchased the car in November bought this to Hudson Toyota attention 3 times, today being the third times; I only had this car for months. You can throughly look over a car prior to purchasing but how does one check for a slow leak. I put air at least twice a week since I purchased. I will update the review after my service today.

I love my new-to-me car! Edit: Four weeks after purchase, my front bumper was displaced. Nothing was broken, but Craig in the service center assured me it could be easily fixed-- he made it happen quickly and without charge! If any one ever needs to buy a car go to Hudson Toyota and I highly recommend that you only deal with a super and fantastic and honest person and his name is Edwar Guzman he is straight forward and speaks the truth doesn't beat around the Bush. I would of like to give them five stars but seeing that they snuck in $5,000 worth of warranties on top of the price of the car doesn’t make me happy. I call the dealership and I have to at least pay three months of my bill to cancel those warranties or it won’t get approved. Besides the fact that they didn’t mention the cost extra they were putting in, my certified preowned 2016 RAV4 runs great. Update: I was able to cancel the extra $3,500 worth of warranties on my car with NO issues when I called Toyota’s Cancellation Center. They told me I didn’t have to wait and they didn’t understand why I was told to wait three months.

Brought my daughter's car for service on Saturday without appointment. Manny explained to me that I will wait for awhile compared to those with appointment and I expected that, He explained to me thouroughly what was going with the car and recommended what is really needed and was is preventive maintenance. He also told me what is cover under my extended warranty and when I should bring the car back. Not everybody has the ability to reach out and communicate well with the customer, I was blessed that day Manny was assigned with my car. He was so courteous and very nice. The waiting room is big with lots of couch and outlet to charge your phone, a TV to entertain and unlimited hot coffee to drink while waiting, and if you are lucky enough there's some pastries too.

I went to Hudson Toyota because they’re relatively close to where I live and I wanted to buy or lease a Toyota Camry. After briefly discussing my situation with Mina, my sales representative, he showed me a car that fulfilled most of my requirements. He never pressured me (which is good because that is counterproductive), and he acted as a good intermediary between me and his boss while we negotiated the costs and terms. I also had a great experience with Juan from Finance, who was able to get me a good deal on the maintenance program. Finally, I was impressed by the size and cleanliness of the dealership, and I expect to get my regular servicing done in their Service department. So, I heartily recommend Hudson Toyota, Mina, and Juan for your Toyota needs.

I thought everything was going well I saw a car I wanted to buy and put in an inquiry about it. Two minutes later I was called to come and see the car. When I got there I saw the car it rode well and everything but they were offering a totally different deal then the website said and when I asked why they said it is a website it does not determine what we actually offer. I advised it is their product so the website should depict exactly what they are selling. The sale went fine and I drove off the lot with the car. I kept getting alerts that my credit is being ran and two days later I was called and was advised that the bank had denied me and I had to come back and sign papers for another bank but nothing changed. When I got there they tried to double my payments then tried to lock me into a deal that I did not want and got very unprofessional about it. I argued with them for three hours and because they had to make promises to the bank and I was not moving on my price they eventually got the same deal. After all was said and done I got the car but my credit score took a dive because of all the backdoor tricks they tried to pull

Don’t buy from Hudson Toyota! They cheat on you left and right and you will be doomed. We bought a used certified Toyota from them last year with the aim to get an accident free car. It turns out to be a car with prior severe accident that Hudson Toyota didn’t disclose. Hard to believe their technicians couldn’t tell the car had a prior accident as it only took minutes for a small body shop technician to identify the damage from the accident. Hudson Toyota played seek-and-hide tricks with us for months, having zero professionalism and quality customer service in mind. They are cheap too – the gain for such a scam is less than $15K! Very disappointed with the shameful Hudson Toyota (Penske) in Jersey City!

When I showed up the service rep was very nice and not pushing extra services on me. Very bad customer service, and many of the service employees are unprofessional, rude and they don't value their customers. I have waited more than 45 minutes for them to give me the oil change paperwork. However, as I don't get any help from anyone, I have decided to take my car and go somewhere else. Never Toyota again. Worst place ever. Purchased a car two years ago and I went to trade it for another car elsewhere and they informed me if had two accidents but when I purchased it, no one informed me about it. I’ve invested ton of money because of mechanical and electric issues. I was never sure of where these issues were coming from. Worst place. They only gave me ONE KEY and eventually it wouldn’t even start my car. It would not unlock my car or even my trunk. It never worked with my door to begin with but I unlocked it with remote. I tried to get it replaced at the dealer and they asked for almost 800$. The alarm would randomly go off. Worst two years with a car. Unfortunate that I was deceived so terribly by Angie. If I could give no stars or negative stars, I would. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER TO INVEST YOUR MONEY INTO. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. YOU WOULD GET A BETTER DEAL AT A JUNK YARD.

I dropped off my car for a quick service, as I I needed to use it on a long distance travel for the Christmas holidays. Mark, the service advisor, approached and asked me if I needed help. I said I did, and he asked me to follow him, as he led us(with my son) to his office. He quickly checked on the history of service on my car and saw what coming up due for replacement and attention the last time the car was serviced there. I told him what else I needed done on the car and he worked with me the entire length, to my satisfaction on every issue of concern to me and with the help of technician having gone through the car, Mark was able to give me a full picture on which we would finally make a decision. Then he asked me to give him a few hours and he would call me up as soon the car was done. I signed off on the work ticked and went my way. Sure enough, he did. I paid the bill, thanked Mark and shook hands, picked up my car and went my way happy. Very happy! There issomething nice, very nice in the service department, there in Hudson Toyota. DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. Hudson Toyota really dropped the ball on this deal. HUDSON TOYOTA is using my husband's social security number WITH NO AUTHORIZATION to fix the mistake they made. We closed our deal 7 days ago and for the past two days they have been running his social security number to obtain a better bank loan so HUDSON TOYOTA does not lose money. All smiles when they want you to sign but when you questions them on their illegal activity, they forget this is the 4th car we have bought at this dealer.

Shop Cars from here if you want to receive worst servicing, if you want to wait for 2+hrs for servicing and even when your car is ready to take home, service manager wont be there on the seat for more than 1hour and when you ask help from different service manager he will be busy doing maths calculations without calculator but you could see calculator right on his table. Keep it up Hudson Toyota. Even if you mail Customer Relations Manager about that you wont get reply from them. Biggest regret is buying the Car from Hudson Toyota Jersey City I don't want others to do the same mistake as I did

I don't think I've ever left an unsolicited online review, but my customer service experience with Hudson Toyota has been so bad that it motivated me to do so. I came in to look at a particular vehicle that I saw online, but the salesperson insisted that it was being sold and when I asked him to double check, he rudely and aggressively asked if I was calling him a liar. I had another employee check to see if that vehicle had been sold, and it hadn't. We ended up buying that vehicle. For months since then, I have been trying to get paperwork from Hudson Toyota and have been unsuccessful after several texts, calls, and emails to the representatives who I dealt with. All I can say is that I really regret spending my money there.

Stay away at all costs. They quoted me for a vehicle, when I went back the next day the price jumped up by 1000 with no explanation. When I wanted a different vehicle they told me to leave.

About 4 months ago I took my Rav4 for tire rotation. Ok 2 weeks ago my wife got a flat tire I'm charging the tire in my driveway and the bolts are very hard to take off . When I had taken the car for the tire rotation the person putting the lug nuts make seated them guest what . The gentalmen who took car of me there at Dealer said it was my fault . When you put lugnuts on a car you start them with your hand then you use the gun. Common Sense. Weeeeeeeeee welcome to NEW JERSEY $154.00 of common sense .

Im writing my review again because google removed my first one. Its rare that I write a really negative review, but for this place I had to considering how shady they are and how expensive a car purchase is. I’m still so bitter at this place, when I saw my review removed I had to put it back up there. I wish I could give these folks a zero because they don’t even deserve the 1 star. General jist is that this is not a good place to go to buy a car. Every shady car salesmen tactic that could be done has been done here when I visited it last August. I went to look at the rav4 and Prius prime with my wife. When looking at the Prius primes, a salesman called Jack Stesslar told me they only had 1 prime left - it was nonsense as I saw 2 other Prius primes there that day. I mentioned this and he seemed oblivious. I knew there were other Prius primes on that lot anyway as I called before I went there and the lady on the phone told me they had it and what the msrp was. I asked for a quote on the Prius prime and he gave me a higher quote than the lady on the phone quoted me and he tells me “she gave you that price to get you into the door” . I knew I wasn’t dealing with these people at that point in time, but I continued talking about the prime when he told me the EV credit wasn’t being given out anymore - all in a bid to proceed to talk me into the Corolla which I had no interest in whatsoever. When I got a good deal for a prime at Pompton Plains Toyota I called him just to see if he could give me a better deal, he wanted me to come in to Hudson Toyota to test drive the car, this technique most likely to wear you out and get you to buy the car impulsively. It never stopped with these people. I walked out that place and never returned. I will never buy a car here or even get my car serviced that’s how deep it is. I would go to Samson’s or Pompton Plains Toyota if I were you even if the drive is longer. Please heed my warning. Toyota needs to have better standards in their franchises.

I bought a vehicle from Hudson Toyota back in July. The dealer who helped us was very nice...but somehow gave the wrong VIN number to my insurance company AND the credit union from which I was taking the loan from. I have received 2 phone calls from them saying they had the right number then the wrong number and then the right number again. After that issue was finally resolved and I received the loan from my credit union (who obviously has the title for the car by this point), I get a phone call TODAY (three months later) saying Hudson Toyota is mailing me the original title to my car for me to be able to get my loan...which I obvious have by now. Not sure why the hell this entire process has been so confusing. Curious to see what’s going to happen next... it’ll probably end with me going to Ford

I went to check out a car I saw online at Cars Direct as well as THEIR website. Even though I called ahead of time, when i got there i had to wait for the car to be brought around for a test drive. The brakes needed work, something they said could be fixed by their service department. So here's the issue, the price advertised on both websites, he tried to tell me that wasn't the actual price of the car and proceeded to show me the sticker price. Then when I told him I was financing thru my own credit union, i was pretty much dismissed at that point. he act like he didnt even want to deal with me. My concern was the price issue and then the dismissive attitude. Sad to say that after having my time wasted for 2 hours, I left... and with no car. The 2nd time they’ve done this to me in 6 years ( in between two cars). There were about 20-30 people sitting down getting deals worked on while I was there for no more then 2 minutes when the sales person didn’t give me rhyme or reason just shook his head, unprofessionally. I went to this dealership looking to buy a new car. I drove over an hour to this dealership because I purchased my last Toyota from them and that was back in 2003. I was pleased with the service back in 2003, but sadly I can’t say the same about this purchase. I purchased a brand new Toyota 4 Runner. The only one that matched my needs/wants had the leather on the back seat torn. They reassured me if I purchased this vehicle they would have the new part (leather) in a week to repair the torn leather in the back seat. I have called them for months and they keep telling me the part is not in, but not to worry because I have a 5 year warranty. I was already very worried on purchasing a vehicle damaged, but multiple people told me it would be taken care of. It’s so disappointing that after financing a brand new over $40,000 vehicle, this dealership does not want to keep their word on a vehicle they sold to me damaged. Unfortunately, I’m looking for a newer Toyota for my daughter, but I will not be returning to this dealership. My loyalty will go elsewhere to another dealership since I don’t feel their loyalty is to their customers.

I seriously dislike this place so much, I bought a car here in 2014 was sold a over priced corolla, for the past few years after that I would go back for oil change and recalls on the car. 1 specific recall was for air bags and they damaged my front passenger side window it does not roll down and when i went back to see if they can fix it, they said I had no proof so it was up to me to fix it. just to check out the windshield was a $150.00 charge nonrefundable and if there was damage who knows how much it would of cost. Still driving with it broken. But what made me more upset was the fact that a sales representative called me recently asking if I would like to sell back my car and I said how much are you going to give me he said something around $5000 to $7000 depending on the condition of the car. I said no thank you because I had paid 22,000 for it and He said wow you were robed because corollas don't sell for that price unless they are new especially older 2010 and order. I said well what are you guys going to do about it since it was your dealer that overpriced me ? He said oh well theres not much I can do since the person who sold you that car is no longer working with us. THEN WHY WOULD YOU CALL ME ! I am starting to think they are doing this on purpose.

Had to call them for my plates. Told me they would have my new plates for me. Three days and three visits to remind them about my plates. On the fourth day which just happened to be the last day before my temporary plates expire. They transferred my old plates which I turned in already. So I had to go to motor vehicles myself and get the new plates - I was promised for the car, I purchased from them. Ok, I purchased not one, not two, but THREE vehicles from this dealer and please do not ask me why, however the salesman (Muhamad Alzainy) is very professional, courteous and respectful. He even called me multiple times after he sold me the vehicle just to make sure everything was ok.... Now the issue. The service department is horrible!!!!!! I'm sitting here today and I have to wait TWO HOURS AND THIRTY MINUTES for a oil change, it makes no sense!!!!! It appears that they can care less once you have purchased the vehicle and shown loyalty to them by coming back to them again. I even once scheduled an appointment early in the morning around 7am only to be told that the technicians were not in yet!! In addition, thier favorite line or theme is that we are booked, Well, if you are booked then why would you OVER schedule the appointments KNOWING that the customers would have an extremely long wait time for simple service. I once tried to check in for service and multiple reps passed the buck by telling me to go to the other representative. Then finally, I went to one particular female and I stood in her line for a good fifteen minutes and when I had one person in front of me whom she was handling, she told me that I could go to another rep across the hall to be checked in. When I advised her that I had been standing in her line for a long time, she had no answer and thank GOD her fellow co-worker stepped in and checked me in. There is no email or contact person to voice your concerns or displeasure to address your concerns or issues. If I had the corporate office email or contact information I would write them and complain. I'm sorry, I had enough and although I really like my salesman, but the service department is unbearable!!! Do not say that I did not warn you!!!!! Sincerely, Waiting TWO HOURS AND A HALF hOURS FOR A OIL CHANGE!!!!!!

Great experience! Worked as a charm. - Negotiated a deal with sales rep Margie over the phone and scheduled an appointment - took bus from Philadelphia to NYC - sales assistance Pedro was notified to await me and greeted me outside once I get out from Uber! - we negotiated the details. Filled the application. Called insurance. Wrote a check and in one hour I was with finance person Jonathan sitting in front of some sci-fi table with 30" display and signed all the papers electronically. Then I was given the USB stick with all the papers electronically signed. - in 20 mins my car was prepared and I was driving back to Philadelphia. Overall I spend around 7 hours from the time I called Margie and get back home in a new car and $43.80 ($15 bus ticket + $2.75 path + $8 Uber to get to Hudson Toyota and $9.05 road toll + $9 gas) and saved few thousands.

The wires are loose what???they told me to remove the camera. I called Hudson Toyota and told them everything and they said that if I don't remove the dashcam they may charge me when I bring the car for service I took the car to Toyota of Hackensack the mechanic drove the car and 20 minutes later (not a week) he told me: it's the steering column we are ordering the part as we speak, no more noises,no more headaches and no more stupidity Hudson Toyota are totally incompetent. I bought a 2016 Camry XLE hybrid from Hudson Toyo last week. The buying experience was a typical one where you have to check internet prices and negotiate (no surprises - it's par for the course). Arif, my salesperson, was pleasant enough and an excellent mediator. The cars do come with a warranty (2k, 2 months). The best part: I am very pleased that Hudson Toyo honored the warranty for an annoying CREAK in the dashboard/glove box (it creaked over every pothole - which is pretty much every road in the tri-state). They kept my car for a couple days and the problem was rectified, and even provided me with a nice free loaner. I was also very delighted that the service tech changed my glove box and center console courtesy light bulbs while fixing the problem (that kind of detail is really delightful and "courteous" these days). They do have a lot of people greeters, check-in service advisers, and valets that seem a little "unaware" of "owning a problem," else I'd probably go 5 stars.

I bought my third truck at Hudson Toyota and the service has always been great. Personal touch and good advisers. I live in Livinston and will never go back to Paul Miller Toyota service center. Avoid them the Sales staff is great but not the service/parts dept., nothing compared to Hudson Toyota. I’ll stick to them, to Hudson Toyota keep up the good work!
