This people offers a variety of services...a very expensive ones. But also they were so unprofessional: gave me an appointment to rotate the tires of my Honda at 8.30 am. An official appointment both on the phone and on the web. Then they sent me three emails reminding me of the appointment at 8.30 am. When I went there the agent in charge of welcome me told me they couldn't take care of my until 2.00 PM. Another lady who works for Honda called me and told me she would offer me a good deal for my car that same day but at nine am. Well she wasn't there, she doesn't work there according to another agent and nobody knew anything about that offer. I complained, protested for the horrible treatment. I'm still waiting for an apology.

We had way too much issues with the services to be satisfied with the experience; * The car was delivered with cosmetic damages, and if you do not notice at pickup they will later refuse to support you/replace the parts. * No loaner offered (you have to rent your own from a third party) * the car was leaking and after taking it to repair the car was further damaged: - poorly reassembled with panels not alligned - broken port hanging on it's cables - wet interior - interior dirty (oil smudges along the seats and panels/covers) We are now going to other Honda dealerships in NJ, and get better service. So heads up if you buy a Honda, you might be better of going to the Mahwah Honda or Route 23 Honda.i

Such a bad experience and waste of time! I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone. The stock inventory is kept in really bad condition even for 2017/2017 cars. They smelled like cigar and had multiple scratches, cigar burns on the seats, etc. however; they were charging top price! Their customer service is awful. We had agreed on a price and they did not honor the agreement. They did not even tried to offer an alternative. I had to preview the cars by my self! They were more interested convincing me to finance with them than to sell a car! On top of that, after I took the time and explain why I took my business to Honda Paramus, they still called me to test drive a car! Just a minute after I had the conversation with the sales rep. The dpts are not organized and their CRM is not updated! Stay away and go to Paramus instead.

Just visited there today just to pickup transmission fluid had to wait like 25 minutes to be helped only one person working. I asked someone can you help me I just need transmission fluid im double-parked, than he tells I'm not in that department you wait for someone else to help you . Before I asked him for help he was texting on his phone didnt bother to go out of his way to say I'll get someone to help you , but no it went on and done something else . Than I had to wait extra 15 mins to pay cause there's one register to pay there wish makes sense I was waiting next to be taking care of than she took care of someone else on the other side of the building for a payment . Than she gives a paper to sign I signed it than she gives a dirty look when I said I signed she was to busy taking care of another issue for a another customer that was making a payment. I told her I signed to let her know , than she gives a look to one of her co-workers about me . I ingnored just wanted to pay and get out of there , there's no reason someone has to wait that long ,so if you want bad service that's the place to go .

At the beginning of February, I went to Hudson Honda to buy a vehicle. The person who took care of me (I felt) that was not willing to help me. I left. While looking for other dealers, I did not feel comfortable buying from them. My wife asked me to go back to Hudson Honda and try another person. This is when I met Jesus T. He was so sympathetic and empathetic. He understood our needs and helped us choose the perfect vehicle for us. He walked us through the process of finance and two week after we purchased the vehicle, he still kept in touch with us making sure we were ok and that we did not have any additional questions. Really bad experience. Not just posting coz I didn’t get the deal but the way they treated when asked simple questions like - - Why car is not certified if like new (sales rep showing attitude. When someone is not well educated about topic or is hiding something, they tend to get annoyed and start showing attitude to shut tough questions) - can I take a test drive (apparently it’s a warehouse loaded with cars, and they are not in business to give test drive) - negotiations (getting annoyed even for asking!) - telephone sales promise something and when you go in person, it’s a complete different story. Even the managers don’t give respect to customers Finally, we were insulted as if we were collecting the car for free!

Benjamin and the team at Hudson Honda were amazing, accommodating and worked fast. I had my car towed in because I needed to get a new key made to start my old Honda. They assisted the tow truck driver with ease immediately upon my arrival. Before I could even walk inside, they assigned an account rep to me (Benjamin) who met me outside as the car was being taken in to start working on my case. Benjamin worked to get me the best price on everything I needed (which ended up being lower than originally quoted over the phone). I had enough time to walk and grab a sandwich, eat it and then my car was ready. I will most certainly return to Hudson Honda for any future issues I have!

I was at Hudson Honda today and saw the employees fighting with a customer, screaming back at the buying customer, and when they tried to scam them and the customer asked for the check back, they refused to return the check. I’ve never seen employees screaming at customers like this before. Went right to Nanuet Honda after that and I suggest you do too.

Just got a used car here and these guys were great. They did their best to meet all of our needs and to fit our budget. They even got us a ride to the dealership. Our sales rep was Jesus and he seemed to know what we needed before we did. First car he showed us ended up being perfect, within our budget and beyond what I expected to get on said budget. We had the feeling from start to finish that they genuinely wanted to take care of us and not just make the sale. They didn't just sell us a car they built a relationship with us giving us a rewards plan on maintenance and building plans for what to do down the road. While the staff was very nice the wait was too long. Took 1 hr. & 45 min. just for the diagnostic and I was there at 7:30am with an 8am appt. As far as I could tell there was 1 person ahead of me. They didn't think they had the part I needed but then found it and took about an hour to install it. All in all I was there for 3 hours. Then as I am paying they inform me that they have an additional fee of just under 4% if using a credit card....WHAT!!! No one told me this when I made the appointment or I would have brought cash or a check with me. I know business' have to pay credit card companies a fee but it's not as if the costs of service are cheap and those fees are just a part of doing business. This fee is what made me give only 2 stars.

He really showed so much willing to help attitude and truly did exceed my expectations. David Delgado teaming with Jesus created a more options and that just took me to the next level of confidence. Albeit was super nervous through it all and probably will for the next 3 years, but they assured me that they are their to help through any situation just feeling comfortable knowing I can just ask questions and they will listen and help where they can. This review was pending with me for long, here it comes, this happened in April 2018. We were out to buy a Honda SUV or Minivan and started getting some quotes online and on the phone. Hudson Honda was the nearest dealership, took an appointment with Frank Escobar to test drive the Odyssey (Sat, April 14th). Ashley Ramos was assigned to us, her first question – are you planning to buy today? We said no, we just want to test drive. She asked us to come back on a weekday, they wanted to focus on serious buyers on weekends. It was rude as we had an appointment, but we agreed. We came back on the 18th (Wed), Ashley gave us a test drive, was very helpful to start with. Her tenor completely changed the moment I asked her what she thinks about Toyota cars, in retrospect I shouldn’t have done that. She asked again, gravely this time – are you planning to buy today? We said no and that we had to buy very soon as we were moving to the suburbs, will take a few quotes and buy in a few days. Next scene, almost out of a gangster movie, Frank Escobar is sitting in front of us, staring at my passport. Ashley standing behind him, glum as if someone just scolded her. He is supposed to give me a quote and car loan pricing, after running my credit, having made me fill forms for three quarters of an hour already and making me share the online/phone quotes I had received. He asked – “if we give you a good price, will you buy from us today?”. I said – “I have already answered this question, not today, what is your…”. He interrupted – “then there is nothing to talk about”. I gave it a pause, glanced at my confused wife who is holding a cranky 4-year-old, asked him – “what do you mean?”. He said – “you don’t want to buy from us, there is nothing to talk about”. I look at Ashley, her eyes fixed on the ground, I say – “this is not the way to treat anyone” – while getting up, but no reply. My parting comment was – “please don’t run the credit check”. Frank replied in his cold, almost threatening voice – “oh we have already run it (he had not)”, the expression completed his sentence, as if saying – “do you have a problem with that?”. Only a gun was missing from the scene. We scooted for our lives. My assessment – they decided not to waste time on us looking at the color of our skin, non-resident status on my Visa and competitive offers I had already shared. Why spend time with thoughtful people with bargaining ability, when business is good otherwise? We bought a Honda Odyssey the next week from Madison Honda, which we had heard about from Ashley herself. She said she used to work there when we mentioned we are moving to that area. We learned that she was expelled due to unprofessional behavior. Sent a few emails after the experience (one of them attached), nothing happened, no replies. This review is just meant to alert unsuspecting people like me. A smell-test is necessary before trusting any new place, this one turned out to be horribly shady for me. I am sure many good employees work at this place too, but I didn’t get to meet them.

Purchased a car here years ago. They were crooks then. I learned they did 1-3 things that are either frowned upon or straight up illegal. They fed me lies upon lies, and I ended up paying thousands more than necessary. I was a prime target having had that be my first car purchase ever. They sure took advantage. Be cautious when working with these people. To Honda: you should have just taken me off your call/mailing list like I asked.

Classic case of Bait and switch. The tele marketer lady ( I found that out later) pretended that she is on site and have my car that I am interested in ready for me the next day , come on down. it was almost 6 pm and the car was still available and ready for my inspection . next day on 6/20/2019 I took off from my busy work and paid two tolls and crossed the Hudson River and arrived at Hudson Honda to view my car, What car? sales person asked, Kia Sedona I responded , well that was sold yesterday . But it was available until pm the night before, well it was sold. And sales/telemarketer person was no place to be found, and I was kept pushing for different car to view .cost me 1/2 day plus aggravation. AVOID AT ALL COST .very poor service and communication.

This is the worst dealer which I have ever seen so far. I would strongly recommend please don’t come here to either for service or buy any car. Why I am saying this you can understand from my below incidents. I purchased a 2017 Honda CRV and it was certified. For which they didn’t give me any discount which is ok but after I took the vehicle there was a issue in AWD system and when I called they told they reset the system and told me that is fixed. But after driving 15 mins again the issue came. When I called and they told they have to order a parts to fix this. After 2 days again I came and they took 6 hours then they told me this is fixed. But again after 5 miles the issue again came. After that I got really angered and asked them to return my money they cheated me for that as well and they took 20 days to return this after so many follow ups. And the most important things like the sales man (doesn’t have any knowledge) and managers (very rude) are not good.

I had an issue that something was consuming my battery power, I changed to a new battery but next day, the battery was dead. I was unable to tide a bold in the wire because I didnt have the tools. Honda told me that the battery wire was the issue, so they said I had to replace the wire and charged me $520 dollars. Few days later, my battery was dead again, and I didnt know what still consuming the battery. Yesterday, a police arrived to my house to tell me that my alarm activates at night (I park on the street) I contacted Honda to inform that I still having the same issue and now I know that the alarm is consuming battery power. They told me that they fixed the car because it didnt start, and now if I want them to assess what is the problem I have to pay again (150) just to identify the problem.

I bought my 2016 Honda Civic from this location and had a good experience with the purchasing process, but when it comes to maintenance that is a whole other story. I’ve shown up at different times to see if it makes a difference with the lengthy wait times. This most recent visit I was the very first customer (showed up at 6:48 am and am sitting here writing this review waiting for my car and it’s 8:05 am!! When I come for maintenance all I’m getting done is an oil change and maintenance inspection and it has never taken less than an hour. This is ridiculous!!! These people get paid for being lazy. They may be nice and helpful but that doesn’t make up for poor work ethic. Please be ready for a lentghy wait especially if it’s busy or if it’s not. Update: 8:43 am still here and they haven’t finished and I have already asked what’s taking so long.

called on Monday to set appt for Fri, quoted $38~ for an oil change only and maybe accepting a coupon that expires Wed for $20. went in, waited almost 10 minutes before being helped. then quoted $55 because they raised prices for a Civic oil change and refused the coupon. any other dealership I've dealt with always honors the coupon or gives you a similar discount. went to a local shop instead. never going back to Hudson Honda. Update: Within a few hours, I was contacted by Cassandra about the failed appointment. She offered immediate assistance and apologized for the incorrect information I received with small compensation for my next visit. She confirmed the price increase started a few months ago. I appreciate the effort, but when the time comes, I will check my options before deciding where to get my car service next. Update 2: The compensation I was offered, I found a coupon for the exact thing in the mail. So basically it's not really compensation for the problem I had with the dealership. 2 Star review only because they "tried" to fix the problem.

Disappointed Yet Again Brought my car in to change the alternator and the service tech forced a full diagnostic scan then came at me with a 5k repair bill. I didn’t have it fixed because it was nonsense. Ended up leasing a brand new car at full list price then they would not even waive the $150 diagnostic fee after spending 44k on a new car. After I asked them to take care of it they claimed separate department. And to make matters even worse they could not even print the contract I had to come back. Not did the sales person even show me through all of the functions on my new car. I’ve had beyond enough with this place and will find a new place for service. Previous visit they tried to scam me into replacing the water pump telling me it was leaking. Then when I said your problem you guys changed it a month ago. Service rep came back and said it wasn’t leaking. That’s enough of your entire team for me I’m forever done and will make sure I go out of my way to never see you or your establishment again.

I had an amazing experience when I purchased my first car, a CR-V in August 2016 with Ronald Lopez; however, my positive experience had unfortunately ended after my purchase. I don't drive much (only 4k so far)so my first oil change was not needed until December 2017; I made an appointment and arrived earlier than scheduled time, which happened to be at the same time as the company lunch Christmas party so no one acknowledged my appointment, even the service manager, Michael. He told me I needed to wait because they were busy; I was frustrated, but had no other choice but to wait. I don't understand why you are able to book an appointment when they can't provide the service. My next experience was also less than satisfactory. I received a postcard earlier this month (June) informing me that the tires need to be rotated so I called and scheduled an appointment for Saturday 6/23 at 12 pm. I explained over the phone that the car has only 4k miles and asked to confirm that the car needed the service, the dispatcher said yes so I proceeded with scheduling appointment. I arrived for my appointment and checked in my car, letting the person know it was for a tire rotation. I was given a ticket number but not instructed on how to proceed so I went to waiting area. After an hour went by, I went to check on how long it was going to take and I was told that I have to go to check at the service desk. At the service desk, my number was checked and I was informed that my car actually doesn't need the service until my next oil change. This was now the second time that information was not correctly relayed to me. Now, my tire light went on so I called last Wednesday and I was told that I did not need to schedule an appointment and I could show up the same day before 7 PM. Upon arrival, I was denied service as I was told they were done with services for the day. I am very disappointed in the continuous lack of accurate customer service provided and am hopeful that other drivers do not have to experience the inaccuracy provided from this location.
