This is our third car purchase from All American Ford of Hackensack. We always buy from Larry Rubin, who has always treated us very well and does a great job with our car purchases, including trade-ins. We highly recommend the dealership and Larry.

Every time I drop my car off for warranty repairs they are always trying to up-sale me stuff. I can't count how many days my car has been sitting in service department not even looked at by a technician. I should charge then $100 for everyday don't have my car... They have a new txt based up comm system but they never update the customer with a status.... I have to constantly ask them twice a day to check on the status on my car...
The All American sales team is amazing in every way. I have leased cars for over 15 years and All American blows every dealership out of the water. They all are respectful and don’t play any pricing games, they get you to your price right away. Walking into a dealership and seeing the owner John Selman working at the sales desk and running numbers for your lease is something you do not get at any other dealership. Bravo to John and his workers, you all do a fantastic job and I will keep coming back!

Just an overall great experience at All American Ford in Hackensack purchasing a Ford Explorer for myself. Have leased probably 50 or so cars over the years for friends and family, so I've experienced the full spectrum and can confidently say this. My salesperson Larry Rubin, who also happened to be the leasing manager (and one of the top salespeople at Ford), was beyond professional, knowledgeable, and simply a straight shooter. He didn't make any promises he couldn't keep, and negotiated the entire time in good faith. He also worked around my rather hectic and unpredictable schedule. The financing manager (I think her name was Tema or Tima, apologies), was also very professional. There was a bit of miscommunication where I was expecting that they would shop my 816 FICO score with outside banks for a lower rate, but in all honesty, I also didn't follow up properly to make sure that the rate was what i was expecting before going in to sign the final paperwork. Given my really hectic day and week, I neglected to remember that when you aren't taking advantage of Ford special or advertised leasing/financing rates, rates are also a negotiation and like pricing, can't expect the dealership to just give you their best rates off the bat. Still, we were able to work out what I thought was a fair and pretty good rate, and would rate my experience with the financing department overall as 5 stars. At the end of the day, I'd say that this is probably one of the best Ford dealerships out there, and certainly in the Northeast (they are, not coincidentally, the highest volume dealership in the Northeast region). Larry Rubin and Tema both are no doubt instrumental in this, but others from the internet manager to the receptionist all contributed to making this a dealership I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or bring friends and family.
The service department is the best! Whenever I have a question or a concern, they are always there to help. Gene Christiano has been extremely helpful in getting my car serviced and back to me in a very timely manner. I appreciate all that he does to ensure my car is fully checked out before I leave the lot. Thank you for being so conscious about safety and being helpful in this very busy world! Just leased my third Ford Edge - This is the second one I leased at All American Ford - Hackensack. Out of all the Ford dealers, this is by far my favorite. I had the pleasure of working again with Hubert Daley (HD) and I can honestly say he is hands down the best. My entire experience 3 years ago and 2 days ago was absolutely flawless. He listens to what you want and delivers!
Honestly, it all happened incredibly fast. In such fast pace circumstances Juan made me extremely comfortable and ensured me that we both would come to an agreement. I was told both sides would be happy at the end of this and that's exactly what happened. As well, he was a former baseball player so we could relate on that level! To have a car salesman that is very personable like Juan in my first ever car buying experience I am very grateful. I would certainly recommend Juan to anyone!

Took my Ford F-150 limited which I bought less than ( 2months ) from the dealer cause the rear passenger lock wasn’t working. The lady in the middle was helping me out, and she started suggesting some things that my car didn’t need, when I told her I wasn’t interested we started arguing, ( Very Un- Professional ). 2 months ago I bought the car from the dealer ( Certified ) as they claim, and before I bought it, the had to do over 4-5 big fixes on the vehicle when I took it for a test drive. In my opinion, I love the vehicle, the dealer and the mechanics, don’t fix every issue cause after you buy it they want you to come back and bring it for repairs to make extra money!!!
The service department needs to work on communication and follow through. I left my truck for repairs . I knew it was going to take a week(it took 10 days) but when I tried to call to check status of my truck they never answered the phone ,the only way I could get through was by texting. When I finely picked up my truck the work was done but they never cleaned up after them selves the work was done on the sun roof and it was left covered in hand/finger prints I had to get it washed on the way home. No one at the service dep even thought to check the work? When you call they brag about being a "5 star service center " Sorry I'm no seeing it.

This review has been long due. I bought my car ford Explorer from this dealership in 2016. Richard Clinton was my agent. So far I have never met anyone so professional and caring. I moved to California shortly after buying my car from them. Richard Clinton has always been very helpful. He helped me setup appointments and get going here in California. Even after 3 years, he never forgets to call me on my Birthdays and Car Anniversaries and to check on car if everything is been going good. And yes, my car has never given me any problems in last 3 years. Just a regular oil change and that’s it. Professional and Courteous! A great buying experience. I Was looking to purchase an F-150 Raptor for quite sometime. I went to the local Ford dealer where I live in Brooklyn, and after and hour of discussing pricing, they were not serious about selling the car to me. The finance manager came back with a BS story that my credit was not top tier (which I PAY to have monitored so I knew what my score was.) Anyway, I left and searched for the truck I wanted and came across All American Ford of Hackensack. I casually entered my name on the website form to keep me alert of the pricing. I got a call back within 60 minutes from a gentleman named Jose. I can tell from our first conversation, Jose wanted to do business with me. He was a genuine and didn’t have that “pushy” salesman approach. We discussed the truck i wanted (which is high demand) and agreed on a reasonable amount above MSRP. (Raptor enthusiasts know these trucks all sell at a premium above MSRP). Afterward, he sent me all the necessary docs for a credit search. Unlike the clowns in Brooklyn, Jose came back with 1 hour of me sending back the docs with rates. Jose confirmed what I already knew, which was that my credit was top tier and got me a very competitive rate for an 84 month loan. ( I wont share the % but will tell you that the rate Jose got me was over 2 points lower then what the Brooklyn dealer was quoting me). Yesterday, I drove up to AAF to pick up the truck. Jose also agreed to facilitate the return of my current leased truck, which was a HUGE convenience for me coming from another state. I got to AAF about 15 minutes before the service center was opening and already the queue was about 8 cars deep for service. When I entered the facility, a very nice serviceman told me that sales doesn’t open until 9am (Jose did tell me this but I forgot), so he escorted me and my 10 years old son to the waiting area. The dealership itself is amazing. The place is modern, well kept and clean. There was a huge and comfortable service waiting area with comfortable chairs, high tables, multiple TV’s, Free Coffee and Bagels, Free WiFi and vending machines with drinks and snacks (that accept credit cards). The bathrooms were spotless as well. The hour wait was a breeze in this comfortable environment. When Jose arrived, he showed us the car and it was everything I expected. He then introduced a lovely finance manager named Tema. She was awesome as well. She was detailed and knew her stuff! She went through all the paperwork with me and then talked to me about additional service plans for the vehicle. Tema was thorough and detailed exactly what the plan would cover in terms of repairs and reimbursement. I did purchase a plan for and extended warranty and vehicle maintenance to protect my investment. I drove off happy and with good wishes from all the staff and AAF of Hackensack. This is the first time in my life that I have written any kind of internet review for any company/service provider (positive or negative) with whom i have done business with. Reason being is that Jose, Tema and the rest of the staff made my purchasing experience pleasurable. This is not common these days, especially in the world of automobile purchases, as I saw with the Brooklyn Ford Dealer. So I had to take a few minutes to tell the internet world how great All American Ford of Hackensack is. Do yourself a favor, if you are in the market for a Ford, go see these guys, or at least call Jose and have him run some numbers for you over the phone. You will not be disappointed.
I called your establishment because I received a recall letter and on several occasions experienced my engine sudden loss of power at some very critical times. Having that happen quite frankly scared the hell out of me. I called to schedule the fix and waited the two weeks approximately it took to get an appointment and a loaner. One hour or so after dropping off my car I receive a text with a link directing me to a site that will describe what needs to be done on my vehicle. I ok the work send over a credit card authorization form and pay in advance. In the five days you have my vehicle not once did anyone say to me there was an issue in rectifying the recall. In fact when I called to make the appointment that would’ve been prime opportunity as well. It wasn’t until I get home and I’m going over the receipts that I noticed on the last of three to four pages that there is a note stating recall issue cannot be addressed because you don’t have the equipment/software. I immediately all my service advisor Gene who basically said I wasn’t here when you picked up the car or I would’ve told you. So I guess when I dropped off the car wouldn’t have worked. I guess the two or three conversations we had about your suggestions that I get the other punch list items done as well wouldn’t have worked. I guess when I authorized $1500 worth of work wouldn’t have worked. I guess when you called me to say you couldn’t charge it all and suggested we do $1200 that day and I pay the balance on pick up wouldn’t have worked or simply saying to the cashier tell Mr. Allen to stick around I need to talk with him about the recall because it’s a dangerous issue couldn’t have worked. The disregarding tone of his voice on the phone when he advised that I relax and when the items needed come in I will be notified via mail to bring car back. The ball was dropped on so many occasions with this and no one seems to care. As many phone calls as I’ve made, emails I’ve returned not one person has reached out to me. Not ONE.
I was very impressed with how quickly my vehicle.was serviced. I have been getting my vehicles serviced here for many years.and not been back to the new service bay. Courteous, quick, clean service. In and out before I could finish drinking my coffee! Thanks guys!
They’re horrible. Victoria was very disrespectful. I went there to get my sunroof fixed, the same thing I went in for happened the next day. I brought it back for them to fix and she tried to charge me a diagnostic fee. And said to fix the problem that they made happen would cost me 3k to fix. Lol... Would definitely not recommend coming here.

My service experience didn’t go as planned, it was harder then I thought. Communication was very weak, I wasn’t followed up with letting me know my car is going to be stay overnight. I had to make 5 phone calls before finding out what is going on with my car. I have tried giving All American Ford in Hackensack a numerous amount of chances to change my view, but honestly I always have to go through the very maximum to get the service I deserve.
Review may change depending how today goes. I live in MA drove 3.5 hours to NJ to get an everyday commuter car. Purchase was great until I had to wait 2 hours for the finance to be available which was 2 hours. Was told I need to provide insurance before I can purchase the vehicle which is understandable. At 4:30 the same day the car was purchased my insurance contacted them asking for a copy of the original title and the bill of sale. No call no response by the following day. 12:30 rolls around I call to ask what is up. I was told I’ll get a cal soon with a status. 2:30 rolls around I call back. I get a snippy response saying “listen I know who you are your salesman’s working on it. 3:45 rolls around I get a call from the sales. “We only have the title with the guy who traded in the vehicles name on it. We can’t send over that title due to privacy issues unless we can cross his name off the title”. I’m blown away here. MA registry of motor vehicles needs the old title and bill of sale to create the new registration. My name goes on the title then the bank holds the title. Dealers get a title reassignment form that by passes the need for the state to assign the title over to a new owner. Complete incompetence over there. Over 24 hours to get someone to simply scan over documents for someone who needs to drive 3.5 hours one way to get a vehicle.

Dropped off the 2016 Explorer for a recall using the night drop box. It was taken care of and picked up the next day as they said it would. It is good when everything goes according to the plan.

I have tried to be patient with All American as they advised me to contact them first rather than submit a poor review. I tried that and things are no better. After bringing in the car 3 or 4 times for a "Tire Sensor Fault" issue and a "Radio Preset" issue they have solved nothing. They keep doing a Software Update and things actually have worsened. Then they say they have found noting wrong even though I still get the warning on the dashboard telling me something is wrong. I even sent them a picture of it and they have ignored it. I don't think I will return even though I bought the care there.
As always my great friendly service person with great scenes of humor. Treat us like we were the only ones there even though he was swamped

I've completed three transactions at this dealership and have been loyal to their service department. Everything has gone well in the six plus years I've been a customer. However, I am suspicious that we didn't get the finance rate we should have gotten on our last car purchase. With an almost perfect credit score we received "the lowest rate" through Bank of American that I later discovered is about two full points higher than B of A lists themselves on it's website. AA Ford initially offered us an even higher rate until lowering it after I protested. I have a suspicion something's not right. It's odd that after all of the time spent shopping the car, working out the deal and arranging everything, customers are seemingly rushed into the business office to close the deal without knowledge of the financing rates they should be expecting. Shame on me. Any great deal you think you got on the car could evaporate at that moment - or so it seemed. I will definitely purchase here again, and I will definitely try to arrange the financing myself ahead of time - or at least have better knowledge of what the finance rate should be for us. Even if it adds a day to the process. That last step was the only part of the process that seemed like it might be slippery. Otherwise, a very good experience.

So back in 2011 we bought a E-350 from this dealer. The buying experience was trash and customer service was horrible! The only reason why he bought the van here was because it was the only one to have the accessories I liked and I was in a pinch to get a van. About a few weeks into owning the van my passenger door welds broke and was hanging on by a thread! I called the dealer and they said someone would call me back on my door welds breaking. It's been 8 years and never got a phone call. Now my door howls 24/7. Over all the Van has been good but the customer service is terrible! Hope you can make it right in the future for other customers!

All American Ford never fails to live up to the reputation of a dealer, both their sales and service department. Last year when I brought my Escape in for service the sales team approached me about a trade in, i expressed interest in an Explorer. They worked out some numbers and came to me with an offer. Considering I spend much of my time analyzing investments, deals, loans etc it wasn't overly complicated. They were playing with the numbers to give me ZERO credit for my trade-in. I expressed my disappointment, said I was looking for a fair deal, just make me an offer. They could not. Essentially the offer was to take advantage of someone confused by amortization schedules, interest rates and lease deals. Recently I had my cart towed to All American Ford after a piece broke. I was told it might take two weeks for anyone to look at it. Mind you I purchased and financed the car at this dealer. Eventually I got them to do the work, but got a call that my battery was completely dead, and the car wouldn't start without a boost. This coming after never having a single problem with the car starting. Not in mid-winter, in September. So my choices are taking back a dead car or paying for a new battery, which I strongly suspect but cannot prove was falsified. As i told them directly, I hope to never go back. Find a dealer who you can trust, better yet find broker's who compete against each other and offer the best deals.

Overall it was an ok experience, the staff was very helpful and friendly but they can definitely be more organized. I just returned a lease that was a little over the miles and was told that I wouldn't be charged the extra miles if a leased another vehicle with them. Well, a few days later when I came back to pay for the down payment and first month for the new car, there it was, a $166 overage charge for the extra miles, I try explaining what I was told but they wouldn't honor it since there was nothing in writing and they knew it that I already had all insurance transferred and was ready to sign. I felt played and it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth as I just agreed to pay it to get out of there. My advise for other customers is: HAVE EVERYTHING IN WRITING during the negotiation stage and please learn from my mistake.

This was the best experience I've ever had as far as leasing a car. The salesman Rudy could not have been more helpful or personable. I came in last weekend to get out of my lease with another dealer. Jose took great care of me, showing me the features of the car, having me test drive it, and sticking to my budget. I got exactly what i wanted for a price better than what I was expecting. The entire process from walking in to driving away was a breeze! The best part, the price discussed at sale was the same price in finance. There was no back and forth and that was a true comfort. I will absolutely be getting my next car, and hopefully many more, from this dealership.

My 1st service at All American Ford in Hackensack went as smooth as silk. Great communication to and from their service department and I was in and out of service in no time. Would have liked the truck washed, but overall, my experience with service was a 9.5

Recently had to replace a major part in my Fusion. Gene Christiano has always been my service advisor. This is my first car and Gene has always answered every question I've asked no matter how trivial. I consider Gene a true asset. Long story short the part was replaced and as the transaction was being completed, I had payed a majority of the debt in cash, I had a credit card issue. Rather than hold my car hostage, I live in the Bronx, they treated me like family. In the 3 years I bought the car Gene and I have gotten to know each other. He went to bat for me with his boss and they both did what they could to resolve the issue professionally and respectfully. I will never forget the courtesy. I picked the right car and I bought it from the right dealership!

My wife and I are happy with the consistent professionalism displayed. We have recently leased our 3rd vehicle. From Service to Sales there is never a bad interaction with any of the staff. The Service Department always finds a way to repair any vehicle around our tight work schedule. Also the Sales Department has always found the best way to meet our financial needs when purchasing all of our vehicles. It is the first time that I can say I've had a good experience with a dealership.

Was not impressed at all with the sales rep assigned to me. No call backs, no email responses, lied about information that was given. The general sales manager was the one who saved my business. I am very pleased with my vehicle, exactly what I wanted but I had to do the running around, the calls to get answers, and it was a very bad experience all around with that. Quite frustrating on this end! Do not think I would consider them again for a vehicle purchase.

Took my 2016 F150 with a lift there for a rattle and persistent wheel wobble. Gene the service advisor was extremely helpful and the service manager personally went out on a test drive with me to hear the noise I was hearing. They both went above and beyond in fixing the truck and it is perfect once again. I really appreciate the time and effort they put in to make sure that I was left with an excellent experience. If you need service these are definitely the people to go to!
The service advisor made me feel very comfortable that they would diagnose and do their best to resolve the issue. The tech was the best I've ever dealt with and very pleased that they did find and resolve the issue. I will go back to All American for service.
I brought transit 350 side mirror for replacement and the service department charged extra $60 from what parts departments initially quoted few hours before. I would look elsewhere for service if you want to pay what was quoted.
Well this company is a jock. I’ve been trying to get in contact with one of the never seen managers and is impossible.Acording to the agent they are in a meeting for more that 24 hours cuz I called yesterday and today and no luck. Anyway this company when it comes to return money is not possible as a mentioned before no manager no sells rep are available. They don’t want to return my money that I have paid to buy a new car. Just make sure they are doing the right thing with your money if u decide to visit ALLAMERICAN FORD IN HACKENSACK.

This dealership is the best. Great service people are very friendly. I am a mother of 3 boys had a hard time finding a car that would suit my needs and I really didn’t want a mini van. Always a pleasant experience. This visit it to bring my truck in for a oil change. They .ake the process effortless. They have the process streamlined so it's in and out in the blink of an eye. I get a loaner car if the service is going to take long or shuttle service if I dont need a loaner car. There's really nothing they dont take care of. They completely lie to you and cheat you out of money! So dishonest. They just want your money and don’t care about you at all. It is a disgrace that they bear the Ford brand because All American goes against everything they stand for. I drive to Shultz Ford which is so much farther just so I don’t have to deal with them.
