I have been repeatedly disappointed in my experience at Gerrish. I bought my car in June and the sales process was a bit painful. However, I was working with a brand new salesman who was covering two jobs, so I was willing to be a bit patient in light of the circumstances. When we were leaving the dealership we noticed one of the rear reflectors was broken and luckily were able to have someone else verify this before we drove off the lot. They said they would fix it for free and we were also told that they would inspect it for free (since it had a NH inspection and we live in Vermont). When I brought it in to have these two things done, they tried to connect me with the person who had promised me the inspection (I think it was the owner) and he never called me back, despite multiple attempts to contact him. We just brought my car to another shop to have the snow tires put on and they said that the rear brakes are destroyed. Most of my driving has been highway miles and I have gone years between needing to replace brakes on my old cars, so this leads me to believe that they did not thoroughly check out the car before they sold it to me. This is the third strike for Gerrish, as far as I'm concerned and I would urge people NOT to buy a car from them. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership.

Deceptive sales. I was told that financing the car would cut the price by $800. At the end of the process, I was presented with a monthly payment higher than expected. I noticed that the $800 discount was not applied. The finance guy went to see the manager and came back and said that the $800 discount was already reflected in the original price I was given. As I was walking out the door, the finance guy came over with the manager who said that the $800 discount was for leasing, not for financing. I'm willing to believe that it started as an innocent mistake by the finance guy. What irks me is that after realizing his mistake, he didn't tell me. He apparently hoped I wouldn't notice. If he had told me, I may have gone on with the purchase. But as it is, I will not ever buy another car from Gerrish.

The staff Upper Valley Honda is full of happy, friendly people who are willing to help with making the stressful experience of purchasing a vehicle a little easier. I worked with Ben Smith in sales, who made the process of purchasing a vehicle fun and exciting. He was limited in what he could include in the purchase price due to their no haggle policy but did offer to wrap some things in to my finance if need be (for example snow tires came with the car as well as a spare and a set of all weather tires but would cost 120 to install). He did however stay in close contact with me through the following weeks after purchase to ensure i had an overall good experience. Thank you Ben for not pressuring me into something I didn't really want and for ensuring things went smooth after the purchase. Lane in finance worked hard to get me an affordable loan that had a decent APR for my credit history and score. He also offered to assist me in the future with reapplying for my loan in order to adjust rates after a year or so when I'm able to get my credit a little better. Definitely helpful when you're trying to improve your credit on a budget. He was also patient in answering my questions and spent ample time reviewing paperwork so I didn't feel like I was getting taken advantage of. Lorriston is a sales person who is tech savvy and had no part in my purchasing the vehicle but was more than willing to step in when i had issues with my radio caused by a repair shop after havingan accidentin the snow. When he was unable to figureout the problem, I was referred to Mary in service who was a peach! She was able to fix the radio problem with little difficulty and ran it through the car wash as an extra perk for me just because she could tell i had been through a lot of frustration with trouble shooting the radio issue and dealing with the repair shop (not affiliated with UVH). Overall the staff at Upper Valley Honda is pleasant, courteous, patient, realistic and kind. Thanks guys!! Id definitely recommend this dealer for a low pressure sale, their prices were fair compared to other dealers both near and far.

I just want to put a BIG thank you out there to Upper Valley Honda and their team! I found myself at Upper Valley Honda the day after Christmas. The last place you want to be after Christmas is a dealership! So I was stressed and feeling really nervous. BUT to my surprise everyone was so warm and welcoming. Ben Smith was the first to greet me and my two children at the door. First thing Ben did was ask the kids if they wanted to get a snack and a drink! Of course the kids were over the moon and walked away with Ben while I grabbed a seat at his desk. Ben made the car buying process SO EASY! He never once pressured me into buying a car. He showed me options. He talked to me. He asked me what my realistic goals were and made sure that we would stay within the budget given. My fears of a dealership were calmed after just a few minutes of sitting with Ben. Ben also did some digging for a better insurance rate for me and he got it $30 cheaper than I was originally paying! The general manager Steve Perlowski got me a great trade in value for my car when I thought it wasn't worth a penny! The general sales manager Dan Ambrose checked in a few times with me to see how everything was going and also made the process so nice and easy. Lane Lantas, finance manager, was quick and efficient when it was time to get all the final paperwork squared away. Everyone worked quickly and efficiently to help me get the best deal and best car for me and my family. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with everyone. We just made our first purchase from Upper Valley Honda. I honestly hate the whole process of going to the dealership, haggling, and negotiating. We met with Ben to look at a used 2019 Grand Caravan they had on the lot with only 1650 miles on it. I have never had as good of a car buying experience as I had with Ben. He immediately put my wife and I at ease, walked us through the whole process, and answered all of our questions and concerns. He treated us with honesty and respect and most importantly worked hard to make us happy. I would highly recommend working with Ben if you’re in the market for a vehicle. We drove 1.5 hours from Southern NH to the dealership and Ben made it absolutely worth the trip.
Gerrish Honda parts dept is a joke. Took 3 weeks to get a "dealer part" which isn't even the right part. Been calling all day to get this figured out with no answer or call back from the parts dept. How can they mess this up when they ordered the part using my vin #?

I have been going to Gerrish for over 10 years now, and it's because I get free car washes, free vacuum and discounted oil changes free inspection sticker. The service is top-notch!! Very respectful and courteous. I have bought 4 cars here. My mother has bought 15 cars from there and my dad has bought 12 cars.

In case you're looking to have the free wash you were guaranteed as part of their gold program when you bought a car from them new ownership has decided it's no longer valid. Makes you wonder what other guarantees they have decided not to honor.
Came in to Upper Valley Honda on Saturday just to look at there used inventory and glad we came across Louis Feliu he was great to work with very upfront and honest and he guides us to the right vehicle for our needs and we are thank for that he understood our needs.
We had a solid buying experience back in April when we bought a '15 Honda CRV. We had an absolute opposite experience with their service department, thus the 1 star rating. I made an appointment using their online service for a state inspection, utilizing their discounted inspection charge for Gerrish car owners. On the online form I inquired to the length of time for the appointment, as I had to wait for the car as I had other business in the area scheduled. 5 emails later from various folks at the dealership, I still didn't get an answer but a week after making the appointment I received a phone call from someone in service. They confirmed I'd be waiting, but still couldn't provide a time estimate. So what should have been a routine inspection after just 5 months of owning the car, I was shocked to have over a $500 bill for a rear brake job. When I asked to see the inspection report from April when they sold us the car and put it into service, they had nothing in their records. Had we known the car was needing brakes in just a few months, we would have had that negotiated into the purchase of the car and the work done then. Either they didn't do an adequate inspection in April, or we didn't really need new brakes, as we were never shown the extensive wear or used parts. But instead, we faced an overly high cost on a routine job. I can compare this to a rear brake job that we just had done on our Honda Pilot by our trusted local mechanic for the past 12 years, and the cost was over 35% less than what it was for our CRV at Gerrish. We thought we'd give Gerrish a shot and take them up on their discounted state inspection, but obviously the minor savings on the inspection was more costly with their exorbitant repair rates. Plus, while waiting for the service, our observation of the folks working behind the counter and in the general service waiting area was they didn't seem real happy. This was reflected with their tone, unresponsiveness, and body language. Not a very customer service positive feeling. Gerrish Service - no thanks. This is clearly a mistake we won't be making again.
I had never done business with Upper Valley Honda (Gerrish Honda), but my very first experience was amazing! I was on interstate 91 and had an accident. The staff was so helpful. I had my car towed there and ended up buying a new Honda CR-V. Every member of their staff went out of their way to assist me, they have a fantastic caring staff. My sales person, Lynette did a great job! I look forward to doing business with Upper Valley Honda.
I like that they're not commission based so the salespeople aren't badgering you for a sale. The guy I spoke to was Ted- he had a good sense of humor and seemed to like being helpful. I also like that they're just down the road from my house and do maintenance. We have a 2016 accord and a 2017 civic, both great cars, and our next purchase will probably be a suv. Honda has a good reputation and so far, we're very happy.

I went in today to look at a car. The salesman, Coty Day was very helpful. He explained to me the Gerrish Honda way of doing business. Not sure I believed him at first but... Basically a hassle free way of buying a car. The price is the price and you can buy it or not. They don't try and convince you of anything. Go in look and if don't like it, don't buy it. A really easy way to go in and test it out. Thank you and have a nice day, and I really think they meant have a nice day. I ended up not buying the car but that was my choice and there was no stress involved. The sales manager came over and said thanks for coming in and if there is anything we can do in the future let us know, I can tell you at that point i was kinda waiting for the hard sell but that was it, just have a nice day. Kudos to Coty and the crew at Gerrish Honda.

The sale experience was fine but 1 month later my car had rust over drivers side rear tire. I emailed and no response. I sent another email and was told they never received my email. They responded and I was told they don’t do body work which was not my question. The rust must have been well covered as it was not there when I bought it. So now I get to pay to fix it. Won’t do any further business with this company. Gerrish Honda went down hill with the new owners!

Wonderful dealership to work with. Traveled 3 hours from NY to buy a certified preowned. The car was exactly how it was described and the staff worked diligently to ensure that we wouldn’t have any problems with taxes, registration, etc. once we got back to New York. After about 3 hours from start to finish we were on our way home with our new car! Can’t say enough how happy we were to have honest, patient and caring staff to help with our purchase!

Colleen in the service department worked with my wife and me to get through a difficult situation when we were visiting New Hampshire from North Carolina. It started with a dead battery that had been losing charge intermittently for months. Upper Valley HONDA diagnosed this problem as being caused by a slow drain of the battery due to a problem in the motorized doors of the van (a 2006 odyssey). The doors had been acting flakey for a long time but we had no idea it was related to the battery. Anyway, Colleen kept on top of this, offered a loaner car as some difficulties arose getting replacement parts, and just was very professional in managing what was a very difficult situation for us during our trip. The bottom line is that our vacation was rescued thanks to Colleen’s diligence and the great work performed by the service department at Upper Valley HONDA.

Ted Sturtetevant was great to work with. He found a car that had most of the features that we wanted and in a color that we liked. The only features that were missing were a roof rack and side molding, which he was able to get added a day later. The service was great because we urgently needed a car to replace a Toyota that died because of a total transmission failure. (He even cleaned off the bird poop that occurred at the last minute :-)

I was admittedly a little nervous purchasing a new car as I don't like to bargain or feel pressured so I spent a lot of time looking online instead of going to the dealers lot. When I came across an ad for Upper Valley Honda with the car I was looking for I took a chance and asked for more info. Abigail Wing quickly responded via e-mail and very patiently responded to all my questions and eventually made an appointment for me to meet with Sherman Gates. Sherman was awesome, no pressure, no bargaining, his only concern seemed to be what I wanted regardless of how it turned out for him. Even after I got the car home he has stayed in touch to make sure I am 100 percent satisfied. I am!
This is not a good place to spend your money. There are probably a lot of good people working at Gerrish Honda, that are trying to make the best of a bad situation, but I can only say, I hope they all find better jobs. First sign of trouble was the guy was forty minutes late signing the papers to buy the car. At some point someone looked at me and said, you don't have to be at work or anything? Why yes I was taking time off from work to be there but more to the point, who wants to be at a car dealership for 40 minutes doing nothing when they've already picked out a car, and made the appointment days ago to sign the papers. Anyways, it was a certified pre-owned and has already, despite low miles, needed two repairs. I do not believe they really checked the car out. I have put only 6000 , very gentle miles on this car and they told me the rear breaks need to be replaced, and they are not covered by the warranty. In trying to get help from the service department I got the run around about my warranty and was hung up on by an answering service 4 times. That is not an exaggeration - 4 times. I dropped my car off on the scheduled day in the morning and they did not tell me what was wrong with it until after 5 in the evening. They told me they have 1 technician working on 2 cars at a time. Why are they so over done that they have no time to thoroughly check out vehicles or answer the phone? Sell less cars if you can't keep up with the volume and treat people better. Honda makes great cars, buy them somewhere else.
Had a great experience with Ben Smith helping me through trade-in of my aging Fit for a great deal on a new HR-V. Ben took care of all my requests, some of which asked for extraordinary hurry-up on paperwork so I could use the new car asap. He and all at UV Honda were patient, kind, informative and straight-up about the deal. I really appreciate that. This is my third Honda, two purchased when UV Honda was Gerrish, and I'm delighted to be dealing with some of the same familiar, trusted faces -- hi, Mary in Service!!! -- and to be making new contacts like Ben, Thanks, all!
On May 8th I went to your dealership with my parents to assist them in leasing a new vehicle. They had purchased their Odyssey when the dealership was under original ownership 8 years ago and had a great experience. They loved the van and wanted to continue the relationship they started back then. However the experience they had this time was terrible. We negotiated a deal on the 8th with Ben. You offered a fair trade value (perhaps the one good in all of this). Ben then offered options. 1) Take the cash from the trade and be given a check at lease signing for that amount. 2) Put part of the trade value down and receive a check at lease signing for the balance. 3) Put all of the trade value down and have a lower payment. They decided to put the whole amount down on the new lease to make their payments lower, which for them was very important. They signed an agreement with Ben and left happy. We all returned on the 10th for the lease signing and first, had to wait over an hour because your finance guy, David, was not prepared. When he finally met with us he started going through the paperwork and something unprofessional and upsetting happened. He got to the signed lease agreement from 2 days before and tried to rush through it but couldn’t because I noticed it was not the document my parents signed. All of the numbers had been changed. Someone had significantly lowered the down payment amount and increased their payment. It was unsigned. I stopped and questioned this and was told that they were not allowed to put that much down on their lease as Honda has a 20% cap on lease down payments. This made their payment way higher than anticipated and in the 48 hours between agreement and lease signing no one bothered to call and inform my parents of this. We spoke with the GM, Kevin, who knew nothing about this cap. To brush off the problem he offered a small gift certificate for service. Despite some reservations (and only because they liked the vehicle) my parents followed through with the deal expecting to receive the check for the remainder of their trade balance hat day. That did not happen. They were told that never happens. No one knew why the salesman told them that because it doesn’t happen. They had to wait a week for the check and had to put down the first lease payment on their credit card. They had been told it was taken care of with the down payment and didn’t have their checkbook with them. We met with the GM again later and all he did was make excuses. The salesman didn’t know about the cap. He didn’t know about the cap. He said “90% of people sign and drive with nothing down” so they didn’t know. He said Ben got busy and forgot to call. Excuses. Excuses. Excuses. The final straw? Getting home to realize the salesman had not communicated to the service department that the vehicle was leased so they put the wrong inspection sticker on the vehicle and we had to return. To add insult to all of this I told the GM that his people earned a bad survey. They were uneducated about the product and the process. They were unprofessional and sloppy in their communication. I was looking forward to the survey. I verified that they had the correct email address. But low and behold one never arrived. Taking away that means of providing feedback is not only dishonest but unprofessional and it has led me to social media.

Gerrish Honda has always been one of the best dealerships in the area. With attentive and friendly staff, you get the best experience, hassle free, easy, and pleasant! My parents have purchased a handful of cars here, have had multiple services, and have always had excellent service. I will only buy a Honda from Gerrish!

Unfortunatly today i took my honda to get my airbag replaced due to a recal, my vehicle had shown no odor or sound that my back right calaper was frozen, after two hours i was given my keys and told that my back right caliper was frozen, they wanted to charge me 500$ to replace it, and it doesnt make sense to me why they had the need to remove all of my wheels and cause this problem, another thing that worries me is that i have a small tear on my front right caliper that they did not tell me about. I am fortunate to have a mechanic in my family and have a two year warrenty on the caliper so i will be able to replace it with relative ease. I am not upset with the fact that it needs to be replaced but i am upset that i recieved no help from the dealership to remedy the situation, unfortunatly i will not be going to this dealership in the future and would recommend you do not aswell
The people here are very nice. As a senior citizen, I'm sometimes afraid of being oversold. The salesperson that I spoke to, Ted, put me at ease. I'm not ready to buy yet, but when I do, it will be from him.

Gerrish Honda Lebanon NH is THE place to go to get a car, in my opinion. And Alton Young is your man!! I'm a graduate student who has not a lot of experience at all with cars but Alton helped me through every step of the way. He made this process completely painless and actually a great experience! He's also extremely knowledgeable due to his unique and valuable background in mechanics and his many years of experience in this field. The staff was amazing too and said I should feel free to come by any time I'm in the area and say hi. The free car-wash service is a definite added benefit. I ended up getting a 2017 Honda Fit for a good price and great warranty. It's the first car I've ever truly loved and Alton helped me pick it out. Even a few weeks after my purchase, I still keep in touch with Alton Young in case I ever have any questions related to cars (registration, insurance, etc). . . He's so super helpful! I visited other car places that I never wanted to step foot in again hahaha so that is how much I appreciate this place and the people who work here.

I used to be happy with their service until this spring. I heard the owner changed in 2017, and from then on the story was different. In a regular maintenance service this spring, I was told that my power steering rack was leaking and it had to be replaced for a few thousand bucks. I was quite surprised and told them that I'd like to do some research before making a decision. They told me that they would fill the steering fluid so that it could at least last for a while. They also told me that the battery needed replacement and wanted to charge me ~$250. I pointed out that it was changed not too long ago so it may still well be within warranty. They later confirmed it, but if I didn't remember it they could have charged me the money that shouldn't have been charged! Back to the steering rack. Well, I checked the fluid level after the service and it was barely at the lower line of the recommended level even they called it " filled". I thought at the time that it was no good if it were leaking that fast, so I checked it twice a day-- yet no more leak and the fluid stays at the same level. Then I ordered the steering fluid, filled it myself, and... guess what? No leak at all in 7 months! I have photos for direct comparison. I can hardly imagine that a technician cannot tell if a steering rack is leaking or not. So I have to suspect that this could a deliberate trick to earn some more money. I checked with some of my friends and one of them had a similar experience at Gerrish Honda. Most of their technicians may well be good and honest people, but at least one of them is trying to cheat customers. So now, no more trust and no more recommendation for Gerrish Honda.
Last week, I purchased my first Honda through Gerrish and it was hands-down the most positive experience I've ever had at any car dealership. Prior to Gerrish, I had never driven away with a new car feeling completely happy with my purchase. From the creepy sales crew preying on my naitivity, to the manager interrogating me in his dark office until I paid much more than I ever intended; you could say that my past experience with buying vehicles was less than ideal. So, I walked into Gerrish last week fully prepared to play defense with the "evil car salesmen" and get exactly what I wanted. However, I quickly realized that both the staff and environment at Gerrish were very different. Loriston Fennell sold me my car and not once during the entire process did he make me feel pressured, intimidated, or even slightly taken advantage of. The professionalism and genuine friendliness of Loriston, the Finance Manager, and the Service Team was such a nice change from my past experience. The salesteam is not paid strictly on commision and instead, recieve a regular salary, with compensation incentives based on customer satisfaction. I did not know this prior to working with Gerrish and it really seems to make a difference. Loriston was able to get me the exact car I wanted within the price range that I could afford. He even went out of his way to investigate a concern I had and got my payment lowered even more! Overall, my experience with Gerrish was outstanding from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I drove off the lot in my newly leased HR-V EX. I will never go to any other dealership!
Louis Feliu was exceptional helping us from start to finish with our second Honda Accord lease. It has been the most stress-free transition to the new car. He spent a good deal of time explaining the new tech for the car. Really appreicate his expertise, and followup to all our questions and concerns

I recently considered a Honda Pilot at Upper Valley Honda and was very pleased with my experience. I don’t have a lot of time to spend at the dealership so I really appreciated working with Phoebe over email to narrow down the specific vehicle that would fit my family’s needs and arrange for an overnight test drive so that my whole family could experience the vehicle. While I was at the dealership, my kids were entertained with dealership-provided coloring books and puzzles – so helpful. Ted was very patient with me and my family and provided helpful information and straightforward pricing.
DOWN HILL SINCE UPPER VALLEY I am going to preface this message by stating; I once, used to change my own oil, have ALWAYS changed my own windshield wipers and even changed the entire arm out when I snapped it off of a10 year old camry, amongst other small jobs on cars I have had in the past. I certainly am not stupid or inexperienced when it comes to vehicles. I now get my oil changed by the dealership out of pure convenience and as a luxury because I no longer have to save every penny. The last time I was in was Monday, 3/19/2019. While changing my oil, I was told my wipers needed to be changed ( I knew this, my next stop was going to be autozone buy some and do it, but the price was inexpensive at Upper Valley so I agreed to it. Let me make it clear my rear windshield wiper was still clearing, minus a small section where the rubber had fallen off. On the 21st of March in the morning, there was pollen/dirt on the back so I sprayed it and the windshield wiper completely went over the window, did not touch it all. So, I went in and told them about it and was told there was not enough pressure from the windshield wiper due to corrosion on the arm. I obviously found it extremely hard to believe that was the case and listed off 2 other possibilities and stated "prior to my coming in on Monday, there was contact made to the windshield and now magically there is no contact, corrosion was not identified on Monday.. also my Honda has 83 k ish miles on it.. I find that hard to believe." So after attempting to speak to another manager ( of course in a meeting) I am suppose to go in on 3/22 at 2pm to speak to the manager, which I now longer have to do. I went out, as I should have in the first place and took a better look it, and one of the speculations I listed to the advisor was apparent, the arm was bent up, I simply bent it back. and magic it clears! So in all, I don't appreciate being called a liar or taken as someone who is an idiot about cars. I do my research, I buy Hondas and Toyotas ( and have had then for 10+ yrs.. no corrosion, ever anywhere). This is the second oil change I have had with an extremely long wait and very poor overall service. Again, I don't appreciate being called a liar and attempted to being taken for a ride. If anyone knows, the arms for the wipers are hardly cheap , so why try to tell me sell me something that I don't need and pass blame on not changing something as simple as wiper
Expect typical 'Dealership' pricing for service. Staff is friendly enough but not very responsive. I've been waiting for we'll over six months for them to order a simple hose.

After having my car put in for an inspection and to have the oil changed, I receive it back with a SMALL circle of paint chipped off. After arguing for a bit about how I wouldn’t be dinged for that at the end of my lease (which isn’t even through them and yes, I would be) they said they would fix it. Now, when someone says they’ll fix something, to me that means to restore it to its original state. When I received my car back I was in shock at how poorly the paint job was done. I’ll never bring my car here ever again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

I really have not experienced “car buying” like I did recently with Louis Feliu at Upper Valley Honda. Personable, patient and knowledgeable, Louis virtually changed the car-buying-experience for me, and I’ve been driving (and buying) cars for decades. From the leisurely test drive, to the informative content and tone he used while we were driving, I felt like I knew enough about the vehicle to go selling on the lot, myself. Together with the GM, Steve, Louis attended to every question, and worked to meet my requisite financials; surely, if you are in the market for a new or used Honda, I highly recommend reaching out to Louis. He and Steve will keep your prices, and your blood pressure, down to manageable, and often surprising, levels.

Stay Away!! Their online correspondence is in Connecticut not in New Hampshire at the dealership. The dealership was 2 hours away so I wanted to make sure the price was going to be close to what I wanted and the car had the xtras I wanted. I asked thru email if the vehicle I was inquiring about had Honda Sensing. I received a responce by email and voicemail that it did in fact have the Honda Sensing. I also recieved a lease price quote. The online help scheduled my appointment at 8:00AM. We arrived at the dealership promptly at 8:00AM. Doors for sales were locked and lights were out. We had to go in thru the service department. No one at the front desk and did not get approached by anyone in sales until 8:20. Salesperson went thru the history of the dealership and their polices and told us they had a no haggle price. We didnt see anything about the sensing on the sticker of the car. So we inquired about the sensing again and he said he was not sure if it had and he would go check. It did not. The sales person told us that year and trim did not offer the Honda Sensing. Shame on me I guess for trusting the online help to have the correct information about the car. A waste of a 2 hour drive right there. We decided to take the car for a test drive and I was happy with how it handled but disapointed about the sensing. The sales person asked if the price was right could we do without the sensing. I said yes. The price he came with was not even close to what I was quoted online which was 231.00 a month and it was even higher than the writing on the window of the car. (Special Lease Price) it said 327.00 a month. The salesman came with a price of 359.00 a month. If I knew it was going to be so much higher than the online quote I would have never made the trip. No haggle price he said. We walked. 5 hours of my day was wasted. Maybe the online help should be located at the dealership itself so the infomation and pricing is more accurate. I believe they should have honored online quote. Or maybe that is common practice for them. Low online quote just to get you in the door.
Not happy! People told me not to buy from Gerrish, but they had new ownership, so I decided to give them a chance. I was told that one of the perks was a free car wash anytime, but now told that the car wash is not working and that they didn’t have anyone to work the car wash. I had pulled up while they were washing one of their own cars and the guy shut the car wash door in front of me. Also, even though I bought a new car, they did not provide inspection like other Honda dealerships. I am so disappointed in their service and wish I had listened to other people’s warnings to stay away from Gerrish.
I worked with Greg Sieglinger to purchase a used Volvo through Gerrish in June 2017. The test drive and purchase process were both solid, but where Greg and Gerrish really shone was after I had purchased the vehicle. After driving home to Vermont, I discovered contamination in the coolant reservoir. Worried it might be been oil, I contacted Gerrish. They were extremely accommodating, encouraging me to bring the car to the local Volvo dealer where I live for an assessment. The contamination turned out to be from the coolant reservoir itself, and a minor issue. Gerrish reimbursed me for the cost of replacing the reservoir and a coolant flush, and I now have complete confidence in the vehicle. Thank you to Greg and the team. I recommend them highly.
I have had very positive experiences with the Service Department BOTH as Gerrish and now as Upper Valley Honda. But I had never bought a car from either. My then-current high-mileage Honda unexpectedly needed expensive maintenance. On short-notice, I found myself needing to look for another vehicle. The Sales Dept experience (from Louis, the car guide I worked with, to Dan and Steve the encouraging, accommodating non-bullying or aggressive managers who evaluated my trade-in and worked responsively with Luis and myself to finalize an agreement, to Lane the finance guru who expedited the financial and paper-signing event) was an undemanding, unexacting, unchallenging, effortless, painless, trouble-free, simple and straightforward experience. Nobody talked too fast, tried to overwhelm me, pressured me in a direction, talked dismissively to me, or forced me to make a deal. And yes, I am describing buying a car. Louis Feliu, the car guidance sales person who worked with me was NOT pushy; he was laid-back and extremely easy to work with. Louis Feliu worked with me to find the right vehicle for me within my price range and comfort level. The whole experience was very non-pressured, positive. From start to finish and within less than 24 hours (from first looking online to test driving to driving away with the car) I had exactly the car I had hoped to find. The afternoon I test drove vehicles and then drove home in my new-to-me vehicle was accomplished in one visit in only a few hours including the time test driving a few vehicles. Louis Feliu was patient, very informative, honest and committed to helping me find and drive away in a "10 out of 10" for me vehicle. I would give Louis Feliu a "10" out of "10" rating as well! I would recommend Upper Valley Honda to anybody looking for an exceptional, results-delivering new or used vehicle buying experience.

We will certainly recommend them.
They were respectful and to the point. Prices for used vehicles were listed lower than most other dealerships I could find with similar vehicles to start (with the downside that they say they are unwilling to negotiate lower). I didn't pay much attention to new car deals, so am unsure about those. The service department seems knowledgeable as well.
This was the first time I bought a car on my own. My experience at Gerrish Honda was great. Coty Day did a great job listening to what I wanted and showing me that. He answered all my questions and helped me through the process of buying a car. I would go to City again when I have to buy a car.
I don't buy new cars often (less than every 10 years), and I dread it. However, I had a wonderful experience with Gerrish Honda. They had the car that I wanted, they were responsive to my questions, and the sale process was fast and efficient. I enjoyed working with Lynette, our client advisor. She was friendly and honest with us; and she didn't pressure us into anything. Alex was also refreshingly honest and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and the people.The only odd thing is that their call center is in Connecticut, and it felt disconnected from the actual dealership in NH. Otherwise, we had a great experience here, and we love our new car.
2 part review, summary is car purchase was smooth and I'd give it 5 stars. Getting closing paperwork on time was embarrassingly dismal. I visited from out of state to purchase a used truck and everything went smoothly on a trade and purchase. Fairly positive experience overall and the staff was very friendly. After the paperwork was all signed we were told (Saturday closing) that closing paperwork would be sent over night the following Monday (this was a holiday, so realistically Tuesday). Weds/Thurs go by with no mail so I call in and am told it's being sent out Thursday. No problem, I can register Friday and be within my time frames for MA laws. Mail comes and goes Friday and no paperwork. I call again and am told it didn't get sent out until today which is 3 days late and leaves me unable to legally register. Due to this incompetence I am now legally unable to drive my truck for at least 3 days while I continue to wait.

After looking for. 2019 Honda Pilot and dealing with 2 other dealerships, Steve Perlowski and Greg Sieglinger were refreshingly easy to deal with. I was able to do everything over the phone and even though it was a busy Saturday, I was in and out within about 2 hours. Well worthy the 2 hours drive to deal with these guys. Highly recommend them.
Very good experience. Loriston Fennell was helpful and knowledgable. There was no pressure to buy a car (though ultimately I did). He, along with a few other employees stayed late to help get everything squared away, he made sure I knew how to adjust everything on my vehicle, and at the last minute, realized that the tank was not full in my car so he filled it before the day was out, and this was after having stayed late. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured. Though getting to Gerrish Honda is a ways from where I live and there are closer dealerships, this was well wort the trip on many fronts.
Last week I spoke with Abigail Wing about financing a Honda Civic. The experience was not stressful. I will come back again and use the free car wash often.

I worked with Sherman Gates who is a GENIUS. Not only does he know the car business having been in the business for ~40 years, he knows people. He asked me a series of questions that likened to a chat on a plane with a pleasant man, but then he brought me to the most. amazing. car. I fell in love with it. I got in and never needed to see another car. This is the definition of excellent service; a sales person who listens actively and who tailors his actions to the customer's needs. He has my highest recommendation.
I just bought a new Honda from Alton Young at Gerrish and it was the best car-buying experience I've ever had. He's really personable and clearly goes out of his way to please his customer. This is my second car from Gerrish, and one thing that keeps me coming back is their great service department. It's staffed with intelligent, friendly, helpful people; and the waiting room is comfortable and pleasant, stocked with snacks and coffee. This place tries hard and succeeds.

I visited the dealership today, after receiving this letter. In the letter it said that they would give me $16,551.00 for my 2012 Honda Pilot.. ( they have my car's info from it being serviced there.) The letter also states that,..." I will also give you up to an additional $4,416.00 this Saturday only",..AND my new payment would be less than my current Pilot. So I went there expecting to get a total of $20,967.00 toward a new Honda Pilot, and have a lower monthly payment. This is a total scam, and a lie. I was offered $5,000.00 for my trade, and no $4,426.00., and my payment would be DOUBLE my current. This is extremely deceptive., if not bordering on criminal. I am considering filling a complaint with the Dept of commerce, and the BBB. So,...visit Upper Valley Honda, of Lebanon, NH. at your own risk., or better yet,...STAY AWAY!
