Comfortable waiting atmosphere while having the cars recall taken care of.

Been going there for a while off and on (mostly on :) and I just gotta say everyone's always super responsive and helpful - and an extra shout-out to Berto. Ever-helpful and easy to work with, I really appreciate all his help.

Asked for an estimate to fix my wife's car. They said very specific numbers of $53-$108. Total bill was $325. At the very best they were 300% off.

Bought my 2017 Alltrack from Erik Murphy in May. Shopping experience was great, never felt pressured. Erik is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the brand he represents. Just went in for my 10K service and since I brought my winter tires already on rims for them to swap out, they gave me a break on the 10K service cost as the standard wheel rotation would have been redundant. Nice to see they look out for the most cost effective way to get the same work done. Car has been fun to drive and has proven to be very capable on less than ideal roads. It's been through Sandwich Notch twice, climbed Mt Washington once, and had no trouble with the winter weather we've had so far. I'd happily recommend Seacoast VW, Erik, and the Alltrack to anyone.

I had a great experience at Seacoast Volkswagen. My sales rep was extremely helpful with all my questions about how the Sportswagon compared to Subaru's impreza. He let me test drive 3 cars and did not pressure me to make a decision when I wasn't ready to do so. I ended up finding a different Sportswagon at a different dealer with a few less miles but I would highly recommend this dealership.

James McCarty

Always honest and service is great.

I had such an unpleasant experience at Seacoast VW. Without reliving the whole thing here are some highlights... I made an appointment a week ahead of time and dropped my car off at 8am. I was told a diagnostic test would be done by 4pm. At 5pm they called to say they were having trouble and needed another day. When I said I could not leave the car another day, the customer service rep got in an argument with me and hung up on me. When I went to get the car, the power steering (which had been fine when I dropped it off) was not working. I was forced to leave the car which was a huge inconvenience and also to give them a $300 job to fix the steering, which they said was related to a pre-existing problem. Also, they said fixing that problem would put out 3 indicator lights, but it only put out 1 light. Overall, the experience was awful. I found them to be unhelpful, rude, and shady. Not going back.

Simply, I drove over 70 miles for nothing and for these people to waste my time.

Was incredibly unimpressed with the service at Seacoast Volkswagen. Will definitely go to Rochester Volkswagen instead. Sent multiple inquiries about a vehicle lease and did not receive any responses. I called the dealership and the salesperson then sent me more information via email. When I went into the dealership to test drive a car, the salespeople were very dry and unhelpful.

Save yourself issues and avoid this dealer, there are plenty of good VW dealers and this is not one of them. Out of the 15+ cars my wife and I have purchased this is by far the worst experience. Too many issues to list and the dealer made sure we did not have an opportunity to complete the VW survey, wonder why? Avoid this dealer and by elsewhere.

I'm a bit overdue on my oil change. Called to make an appointment. I didn't want to put all the miles of the long holiday on an already overdue engine. Told them I could leave the car all day. Was told that there was nothing until after long weekend (Labor Day) I've bought several cars there, had all my service there and they can't squeeze me in for a 20 minute oil change. Helping a customer who is in a bind, not only defines good service, but cements customer loyalty . Seacoast did neither . There are other dealers who will surely appreciate my business.

As a professional in the field of guest services, I was quite impressed by the service I received at Seacoast Volkswagen when I brought my Jetta in for my 10,000 mile checkup. They were attentively aware of my visit and the issue I had mentioned. Lyndsey was most helpful and proactively presented a solution in a timely manor. Ed was kind and helpful in driving me to and from the mall where I was able to pass the time until my car was ready. The technician who worked on my Jetta was entirely proficient. Kuddos to Seacoast Volkswagen!

Katelyn Zerbinopoulos

Ideal buying experience. From start to finish, every question, concern or need was met flawlessly. Erik Murphy was a dream to work with. He's very knowledgable about these vehicles, and really took the time to listen to what I was looking for. Never pushed me in a direction I was unsure about just to make a sale. He responded to inquiries quickly and offered many useful suggestions. I will return in the future! Many thanks to Erik, and the entire Secoast staff for such a smooth vehicle transition.

I have travelled all around the United States in my 2010 Jetta TDI. I have had it serviced in Spartenburg, SC, Las Vegas, NV and several points in between. This is the cleanest most friendliest dealership I have visited. Lindsey is a great service advisor, probably the best I have ever had. She is a gem, and a real complement to Seacoast VW.

Matthias Lee

fantastic people, very clear about charges, reasonable and fast. clean place

I brought my 2005 Jetta to have some recalls completed on it. Right from the start I was impressed. Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy - I called and the appointment was set for less than a week later. I had called another dealership before I called Seacoast and 2 weeks later they still haven't called me back as to whether they could do the recall service or not. Dropping my car off was easy and done at my convenience. When I went to pick up my car, the service tech had done a multipoint inspection on my car at no charge and gave me a list of work that should be done to the car in the future to keep it running good. Not only did he give me the list, he took the time to explain the things that needed to be done and even to show me a couple of things that were on the list. I am very happy with the service at Seacoast VW and their overall treatment of me as a customer.

Al McIntyre

no hassles,no pressure, salesman andrew was friendly patient and answered all my questions and concerns

HUGE shout out to the machanics and service reps at Seacoast volkswagen. They made my visit easy and stress free with video and text updates on my car while it was being worked on in the shop. Rodney was the mechanic and he was amazing and did a great job. The gentleman that checked me in, answered all of my questions and never got mad at me for being a nervous wreck when I paced around the halls and showroom. Will definitely be going back in the future. Highly recommend!

I love these guys! Really, I do. Have purchased two vehicles from Seacoast over the last 5 years, and have had nothing but the most excellent experience with them from start to finish. Sales, service, and communication from Seacoast has always been on point. Good work, guys!

Patrick Jardin

Service is part of the nature of VW and having good service consultants is critical for a VW dealer and honestly after 6 years I don't know of any VW dealership that has a better service team than Seacoast. They've gone to bat with VW for me numerous times saving me hundreds of dollars in the process. The discounts they provide for loyal customers and the regularity with which they mail service flyers is also a big help. They've always been very considerate of my time and also have a personal touch I appreciate. I've also purchased two vehicles from Seacoast and have been happy with the deals I've gotten both times. I haven't found a dealer yet that can beat their prices in the New England area and I was happy with the price they were able to give me on my trade in as well. I especially find their sales staff much more knowledgeable about the product as well as their own inventory (which has been a dumbfounding problem with other dealerships). If you want a VW, I can't recommend a place more than Seacoast.

Patrick King

I expected my bill for this extensive service to be over $600. Some how you managed to save me $100 and the work,as always, was flawless. Thank you very much.

Awesome service department

Both my girlfriend and I own VWs and we love them. We did not buy our VWs from Seacoast however we wish we did. I have worked with there Outstanding Parts Department and Chris is always happy to help us get any part we need and in a very friendly and enjoyable way. The sales department will help us find and buy our next car from Seacoast.

Hunter is so nice and helpful !!! He deserves a raise and bonus!!! Best worker at there !!!

What a horrible place I brought in my Volkswagen to be examined drove it there after they got threw with it it never drove again. They overcharge me and overepriced the work.

Overall this was an okay car buying experience. Low pressure and pretty good communication. But when buying a car you'd better not relax until you've signed the paperwork. After clearly negotiating an out the door price (OTD) from the beginning, when I sat down to sign for the car I had a $229 doc fee and a $25 title fee added on. Not cool when I was clearly negotiating a price inclusive of all fees. It was late in the day and the sales manager wasn't there to confirm my quoted price. Either shady tactics or bad communication between the sales team and financing. They offered to cut the doc fee in half when I complained about this discrepancy, and I took it just to get out of there, but I was still overcharged by $140 on my car purchase. Too bad because it had been a positive car buying experience until that point.

Jared Baxter

Booked an oil change appointment online today to avoid waits or lines and still they told me it going to take an hour for only an oil change. Very unimpressed at the customer service here. I filled out a new customer form as well because I haven’t been there for a service before. This turned out to be a waste of time and had to re do the entire process after I got there. I will be taking my car back to danvers location. Seacoast VW dropped the ball on my first experience with them and lost any future business from me.

This is the first review I have ever written for any business. This is my way of thanking the service manager (Don). Seacoast took care of a problem with my daughter's Tiguan on short notice during the height of a big snowstorm two days ago. Poor engineering in the Tiguan (the heater blower sucks in snow). Seacoast smartly educated my daughter to ensure she knows how to prevent it happening again. Gives a Dad a piece of mind to know this very professional and courteous service department is near where my daughter now lives and drives. Thank you!

Went there for service and dropped off my car at the dealer overnight. When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed 151 miles have been driven on my car and my gas tank nearly empty. Talked to the Manager, he at first denied the fact mileages have been driven on my car, but after we checked the receipt that shows the mileage in and out, he finally confessed that his employee drove my car home overnight. Even worse, he was being extremely rude and didn't want to do anything about this. I then tried to contact the dealership owner, he ignored me too. DO NOT GO THERE! They allow their employees to drive customer's car home and still think it is right to do so.

I had a great experience at Seacoast VW, the staff is friendly as well as knowledgeable. Leasing a car with Seacoast VW wound up being both affordable and convienient. I worked with Erik Murphy and he was helpful, attentive, and patient. Thank you for the awesome experience Seacoast! I cannot wait until it is time to start a new lease so that I can come work with you guys again!

Sunne Grant

I've always had a great experience with your service personnel. This level of professionalism and their caring attitude makes it a pleasure to bring my vehicle in for service. You've won me over as a permanent customer!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at seacoast Volkswagen. From meeting the staff to the final purchasing of my two vehicles I cannot emphasize how smooth everything went. My wife and I worked with Erik Murphy. My initial impression meeting him was this kid is young he’s probably trying to just make a quick sale. I was instantly proven incorrect, he was patient, extremely knowledgeable about the various cars I was interested in and in the varying levels of trim. We were able to find me the exact new car that I wanted within my budget. One thing I know that is common with a lot of dealerships is that they will tell customers exactly what they want to hear. After initially speaking with Erik he was very upfront about what vehicle I should be focusing on. I had a little glitch with my stereo right after getting my car and Erik coordinated all the stuff with service and also set up loaner for me giving me a peace of mind. Needless to say after purchasing my car we purchased a new suv from him roughly a month later. We love both new cars and I cannot recommend enough working with Erik specifically and the whole seacoast dealership you will not be disappointed. Good luck and happy car buying!

June of 2016 my 2013 Passat was the subject of a factory recall due to a design flaw that allowed contamination to get into the clock spring mechanism located under the airbag in the steering wheel assembly. Apparently, if enough contamination, e.g., dirt, hair, etc., got into the mechanism the clock spring was subject to failure. In such an instance the airbag would be rendered inoperable, as would the horn and the controls located on the face of the steering wheel. I brought the vehicle in and, supposedly, some sort of cover was put in place to keep debris out of the clock spring mechanism. Last week while taking a right turn I heard a loud "snap" from the steering wheel and the airbag warning light on the instrument panel immediately illuminated. As mentioned in the recall notice, I also found that the horn and steering wheel control buttons for the radio, etc., were not working. I went to Seacoast Volkswagen, where I had purchased the vehicle as new, and upon explaining the circumstances was told that there was nothing they could do about it as the "fix" for the recall had been installed. Apparently I was on the hook for the repair ($500+). I was referred to the Volkswagen Customer Service number and was informed by them that they also wouldn't repair the clock spring as the recall had closed and, again, the "fix" had been installed. Neither Seacoast nor corporate VW apparently feel that this component failure is related to the original recall (it obviously is), or frankly, just don't care. A second visit to Seacoast Volkswagen yielded the same results... sorry, can't help ya. I was a customer of the dealership and was actually looking into buying one of the new AWD Atlas's. That's obviously not going to happen and they, specifically, as well as VW products in general, will never see another dime from me or any friends or relatives that I can steer away (absolutely every pun intended) from them. Don't do business with someone who will not back their product after it is sold with a design flaw. To draw an analogy; as a contractor, I build a house and then sell it to someone. After the sale it is discovered to have a structural design flaw. Being a responsible contractor, I send someone to re mediate the flaw and all is well until a year and a half later when the house partially collapses... at the point of the original design flaw. Who is responsible? The buyer?? These guys don't care and neither does corporate VW. Do not give them your hard earned money.

This was the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. My salesperson, Denise, was great, as was Mike in finance, and Nancy, the sales manager. The entire process was seamless, quick, and easy. And I love my new car! Thanks!

EXCELLENT SERVICE. Lindsey and Berto are the BEST---Their responsiveness to Seacoast customers is second to none!

Got my warranty rust and rot repair done. VW said they replaced the front portion of both rockers with new metal and welded it in and painted them. I had to wait about a month for it to get done and less than 2 yrs later cars already rotted out and the whole rocker is soft like paper. Thank you for the customer care seacoast Vw

Very fast...I would like to thank Denise Cote for remembering my name from being there the week before and new to the state she is a very out going person and the right person work for your company as well as Chris Schulte.

I bought my first VW- a 2017 golf sportwagen, last week and it was a great experience! I was greeted immediately upon entering the dealership and was given undivided attention from their salesman, Erik Murphy. He took his time to explain details about each car I tested and was just overall very friendly and supportive through the whole process. I felt very confident about my choice when all was said and done. Thank you!

Jonathan Murphy

My wife and I were in the market for a new car this past summer for our family. We knew we wanted a Volkswagen. Went down to Seacoast Volkswagen and met with Erik Murphy. He listened to what our needs were and he found the perfect car for us. A 2017 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen S AWD. He never made us feel pressured. Erik let us take our time to look over the car to make sure it was what we wanted. He was very patient and knowledgeable in showing us the ins and outs of our new car. The car has been nothing but fantastic so far. Handling the early snow that we have gotten this year with ease. I would recommend Seacoast Volkwagen and Erik to anyone looking to buy a new car.

I bought a 2011 Honda CR-Z on 6/30/15. It was the best car buying experience imaginable. Joe was amazing and made it all so easy- truly exceptional. Thanks so much!

Not a bad place. Way understaffed though. Went in with a check at hand, looking at for a base model new Jetta. We were there 20 minutes before anyone helped us out. And by help I mean just give us the keys to the car we were looking at, and let us do what we want. Kind of nice, i guess, but couldnt ask any questions. My wife liked the car, but again we had to find help. After a bit more waiting, we made an offer, but no dice (Seems pretty common these days that noone will budge off sticker price.) Not even willing to haggle at all, sticker price or bust! Eventually, we decided to just go used, as they had a pretty nice deal on a used Jetta. I go in the next morning to pay for my ride, and no finance guys were there. Had to come back a few hours later. When I came back, I had to wait about 2 hours for all the paperwork to be prepped and signed. Overall they were nice, the place was clean, and they had plenty of water for me to drink. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a VW,

I had researched online for quite some time(2 years) prior to walking into Seacoast VW as there were very specific features (manual transmission, AWD, HP, handling, etc.) and cost I had identified. The 2012 GolfR that was Certified Pre Owned met all of them. If it had not been CPO, I would have waited. Joe Meoli and Nancy Buell both helped answer my questions and concerns and allowed me time to consider the purchase overnight while holding the car. Minor mix up with snow tires not being included, but a deal will be worked out with service. I also special requested the wheel alignment point report and service will be taking care of that. There was a question as to why songs weren't changing on my iphone sync, so Joe looked into that for me after the sale which I really appreciate. Overall, a great experience for buying a car. No haggling and getting a reasonable price helped! Thanks Alan

Jc McGuirk

I wanted to find the cost for a specific service. The area I was in had bad cell reception so I used the online contact form on Seacoast VW's website. Never received a reply to my question but am now getting marketing emails from a 3rd party, CDK Global, on their behalf.

Greg Taillon

Best prices of most Merrimack Valley VW dealerships. Good selection of cars on the lot and willingness to source other VW dealerships' inventory. Friendly staff and great Sales Manager. No high pressure tactics and very reasonable negotiations. They attempt to win you over as a long term customer. Very happy with the 2017 Passat we purchased from them.

sharon imhoff

Andrew was kind and helpful when I bought my new, used, adorable car.

Bruce McPhee

Great experience. Car engine light was troubleshot and repaired, a 40K service performed and returned in time frame promised. The shuttle was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated as I am new to area and was stuck for a ride.

Eric Belschner

Excellent customer service and very accommodating!

Alexander Delis

These guys are great. I brought my car in for a problem with the seatbelt warning. It kept going off intermittently. They not only fixed it right away, but got it covered under an extended warranty. Great people, great service.

Evan Gaertner

Brought my Sportwagen in for a check engine light to have it diagnosed and fixed under warranty. They told me my aftermarket air filter was the cause of the CEL, (which was for the DPF, part of the exhaust, nowhere near the intake) and was therefore not covered under warranty and that I owed a $100 diagnostic fee. The car also had a handful more miles on it than when I dropped it off and the tech unplugged my dash cam which seems super fishy. Brought it to Rochester VW for a second opinion and they actually fixed it instead of trying to shift the blame on me and then charge me for it.

Bill Stratton

They flat out lied to my wife and I. Told us the extended warranty would cover things it does not, and the language on the actual warranty is so slippery, its hard to tell if I have a legal case or not. Still in pursuit, but that does not change the fact that they refuse to honor their promises.

Miranda Corson

Had a great experience here getting a new Golf, Fred and Mike were wicked helpful!

Jason Bailey

Needed a company car and decided to purchased a 2017 Alltrack with the help of John Quinn in November. John made the car buying process essentially hastle free. The car was made ready in a prompt and professional manner and John made several follow up emails to ensure I was comfortable with the car and that I was fully set up with all the features the Alltrack offers. After a month of driving the Alltrack I have found it to be a joy to drive. It offers an even balance of sport and utility that is comfortable and fun to drive. The wagon is alive and well!

Danielle Huffman

I recently worked with Seacoast Volkswagon - specifically John Q. and he was more than helpful on getting me into an affordable, dependable used vehicle! I appreciated his honesty and helpfulness through the process. Thank you again John!!
