They called me up and said they were ready to move forward on a deal I had previously said I was comfortable with. We made an appointment. They then made me wait for an hour and a half before finally offering higher numbers. Huge waste of time, especially after being yanked around the first time I met with them (and I only wanted to test drive the car). After we we talked with Adam and Buzz, they showed us a sexy looking 2016 Mazda, which However, once we were shown what our rate would be for a loan, It was out of our range. The gentlemen bent over backwards and did everything they could to help us get into this car. After awhile, the gentlemen along with Darrell, finally got us the terms we were looking for. We were on our way home from Maine with our 2002 Chevy suburban pulling our 27 ft. Camping trailer. We had pulled off I 95 to show my daughter her online college, University of New Hampshire, when I saw a lot of smoke coming from behind the suburban....not good. Hilltop Chevrolet took both the Suburban and the camper so we could have both vehicles at the same place. Even with their very busy schedule they we able to get the Suburban in and diagnosed that day, then even more impressive was the very next day they got the new used transmission, installed, tested it and got us back on the road to home. Truly amazing service. They even rented me a car so I could take my daughter to see her college. She was so happy and we could not be happier with the kind, efficient and professional service that we received at Hilltop Chevrolet. I would highly recommend them for both sales and service. I can't say enough about my experience at Ron Currier's Hilltop Chevrolet. I was in the market for a used Chevy Silverado however shortly after speaking with Kevin the sales manager he was convinced he would be able to get me into a 2019 Chevy Silverado LD and within my price range. Although I was sceptical I heard Kevin out. Believe or not we were able to work out a deal that brought me within a couple dollars of budget my goal. I was handed off to Tyler my sales associate. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. My purchase was made possible because of their knowledge of the truck; the high level of professionalism and service they provided me; thier integrity; and the high reputation of your dealership. Things went so well for me that a week later I purchased a 2019 Chevy Equinox from Kevin and Tyler and again they where able to get me exactly what I needed and wanted for my budget. I believe that every business is built one customer at a time. Customer loyalty and trust are both earned through deeds not good salesmanship alone. Whereas you are indeed a good salesmen, this review serves to confirm that you have earned my trust and my loyalty. I feel certain that I will be purchasing many fine cars from you in the future. PS Ken the finance manager should be walking around that dealership with a cape! He saved the sale on both cars by slashing numbers to make things work for me and my family.

First off this dealership wasted a lot of my time waiting for them to figure my deal out I had to call multiple time to get answers Then I had a bad wobble or vibration in the front end. I bring in they do an alignment Then ship me on my way. Drive the truck same problem bring it back again. They do another front end alignment remount and balance all four tires Same problem Service guy calls and tell me it’s the tires and they are fine drive them out like that or I can buy new tires $1200 mine you I bought the truck 30 days ago The tire are causing the problem but the dealship won’t replace them They sold me a truck with problems They are supposed to get me a second key but haven’t yet but they call me about the spare key to the truck I traded in. Mine you my truck has been there twice now. I will never purchase another vehicle at hilltop Chevy again. Thanks for nothing

I purchased my used car from Hilltop Chevrolet in the fall of 2017 and was due for my inspection. I brought my car in to get my free inspection...it failed, which is fine, but they told me I needed an inner and outer tie rod replace and that it would cost me about $850. I told them I would be bringing the car elsewhere to get the work done. Glad I did. My husband's mechanic, at Range Auto, gave me an inspection, fixed one of the tie rods, as they said the other one was fine, fixed something else Hilltop didn't catch, gave me a tire alignment, and an oil change all for $250! How can these guys live themselves knowing how much they over charge people. What about he elderly folks or people who don't question what a mechanic says and just pays for the work. I will NEVER come back to this place, don't care if they offer a FREE inspection on all cars I own-thought that was a small perk for purchasing my car from them.

I would give zero stars to service department!! Took my 2018 Camaro ss in for oil change. After driving 20 miles oil light comes on pull Over check the oil and it doesn’t even register on the dipstick!! Take it back the next day I’m told the technician only put 6 quarts of the 10 quarts that is required in my car!! I’m told “ we are sorry the tech is new”” yet my receipt states 10quarts is put in my car!! Never never again!! I was offered nothing for my time and frustration!! I will definitely go elsewhere!

I don’t normally write reviews, but Hilltop Chevy has impressed me so much that I felt like I had to share my experience. My wife and I have bought three vehicles from them now and can’t say enough good things. Our first experience with Hilltop was 3 years ago when my car died literally a week after my wife gave birth. Kylie and team at Hilltop made everything so easy. They brought multiple cars right to our house to test drive, and we ended up leasing a Malibu without ever even having to set foot in the dealership. Not long after that, when we needed more room, the Hilltop team, especially Kevin the Finance Manager, bent over backwards to get us the best deal possible on a minivan (which has since become my favorite car I’ve ever owned). We were so happy with how they treated us, we even recommended them to my in-laws, who have now also bought 3 cars from them (which earned us a little bit of extra cash through their referral program!!). This past weekend, with the lease on the Malibu almost up, and two little ones now running around, we needed more space again. Hilltop was able to run numbers and quote me a monthly payment over the phone for a 2019 Equinox. Most importantly, when I went there to nail it down, the numbers were almost exactly (within $5 a month) what I had been quoted. They got me over 5k off, and blew every other dealership out of the water on price. There were no games, no haggling, no hard sales pitch. That’s the part about doing business with them that impresses me the most. I got the car I wanted, at the price I was promised. I got there right when they opened at 11 AM this past Sunday, and I was sitting on my couch with my new car in my driveway by the time the Pats game kicked off at 1 PM, it doesn’t get any easier or more efficient than that. I think that the best compliment I can give them is this, that Patriots game ended with the “Miracle in Miami”, and even that couldn't ruin my good mood. That’s how spectacular the deal they got me was, that’s how quick and easy they made the process, and that’s why I will continue to do business with Hilltop any time I need a new vehicle. You should too.

Extremely shady dealership, especially for being an official Chevrolet dealership. These people are scums; They know that many of the Silverado trucks they're selling have manufacture issues from the factory but "act stupid" and attempt to pin the issues on the buyer; That's precisely what happened to me. I paid nearly $50,000 for a "top of the line" High Country Silverado and within the first 3 months of ownership, there was water leaking into my interior and consistent road vibration that I was told was "absolutely normal" -- It looks like a Cadillac and drives like a POS -- Worst truck I've EVER purchased, and they weren't willing to touch it, never mind refund me my $50,000! Absolute nightmare of a company; The "managers" have no concern for their customers. Kiley, who is above management, acts nice on the phone but she just wants you to stop calling the dealership and "move along" -- As for their service department -- Also a bunch of shady people who refuse to comment at all or suggest resolutions because of liability and promises they can't keep. After about 4 months of headaches, one of their sales managers pulled me in beyond closed doors in a back office to tell me "we're done." and that "I needed to leave immediately" -- PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I GOT SCREWED ABOUT $15,000+ AND STILL NO RESOLUTIONS, 6+ MONTHS LATER!

I bought a brand new car here last week. We had sat down the Saturday before I got the car and had all the numbers worked out. They ordered the car for me and called us to tell us everything was all set and to come in to sign the papers. When we got there, they did not include the gap insurance in the contract and and told me I needed to pay an extra $500.00 that day if I wanted the insurance. Who in their right mind finances a $30,000 car without gap insurance? They also didnt include the Maine State sales tax in the contract like we had figured in a few days before, and was told that it wasnt allowed from the lender. My credit was ran 8 times, bringing my score way down. I was told not to worry cause I was just shopping around. Im sorry, but its my credit, not theirs. They did give me an extra $500.00 for my trade in so that covered the gap insurance, but I still have to pay out of pocket for the maine tax which I had not factored into my budget because I just gave them a $1500.00 down payment. At the end of the day, I bit my tongue and signed the papers. Our salesman Matt was nice and friendly, but the manager basically took over 1/4 way through the sale. I do have a beautiful new car but had a bad experience and would not recommend this dealership.

When in to trade my 18 Equniox got talked into a 19. Beautiful car, but all was happening too fast and wanted a nite to think everything over and questions to think and ask about. Wanted one night and got talked into immediately signing. Too much pushing too fast. Should have had someone I could trust with me. Not happy about this so called sale. I did get screwed over my extended warrentry coverage that I never got refunded till I found papers and asked for it. Always ask all your questions and don’t let them push you. As others have mentioned, the Money Carlo event is a scam. They print the ad in such a way as to make it appear that you won $5,000 by aligning the prizes next to the winning combinations to give that illusion. But then they say "No, see the box around the prizes? Those are not meant to indicate the prize won" for the combo of symbols right next to it. Really? Not only that, the event did not feel very welcoming or professional. I can't imagine that their "push" to clear inventory was worth it and they probably angered more people that they pacified with this event. We will be looking elsewhere when we are in the market for another car next year.

I recently received a $25.00 coupon for an oil change, filter, and tire rotation so I booked and appointment. After arriving, I waiting an hour and a half! Then was told that the service tech need to show me something on my vehicle. Apparently when he went to take the wheels off to rotate my tires, one of the lug bolts stripped. They tried to tell me that it stripped coming off. They then proceeded to charge me an extra $134.00 to replace the lug bolt that they broke!!!! After speaking with the service manager, he said he would "work with me". That was not the case! The took off the $25.00 from my coupon and then used my preferred owners rewards of $24 towards my Balance! All things that I already had! I will NEVER be going back to Hilltop Chevy for service or to purchase a vehicle!

Got back to the dealership and asked three times what the price was only to be told we don’t know the price until you decide if you are doing the deal or not. Dont come in to look around and get an idea of what they have to offer cause they will try to shove a car down your throat. There's a difference between persuading and pushing. At first they were very nice! Once they found out we wouldn't be purchasing that day it suddenly became an issue. Telling you you need to buy this car. And if you test out a car and it's just not right for you big boy Kevin will throw a big fit and attitude. Never going back and dont recommend anyone to just go and look.
