By far, the best experience I've had at a new dealership in a very long time. The Salesperson, Christopher, was very pleasant and helpful. Never once did I feel anxious, even when it came down to working the bottom line numbers! I told them what I wanted to pay for the 2017 Rogue and what I expected from my trade. From there we came to the prices we both found acceptable. I went to two Nissan dealerships before going to Salem Nissan, and it was a "no brainer" to purchase the Rogue from them. Hopefully I will not need the service department any time soon, but the staff and service area seemed very comforting. Great job, Salem Nissan!

My transmission just out of warranty and got broken. I call them and they help me to get assistantship from Nissan to pay the majority of the replacement fee. So I got a brand new transmission installed with a small co-pay. Very happy with the result and strongly recommend.

I was very pleased with my car purchase at Patriot Nissan. James Butterfield and Tate Adams were amazing to work with. James made me feel very comfortable through the whole process and made sure I was completely satisfied. I had a Rogue lease and bought a Murano, a lot of the buttons and features were the same but some were new and Tate answered all my questions. It's nice to know there are still car dealerships that treat you like family and just not a sale. I will be a forever customer and will highly recommend Patriot Nissan to my friends and family.

I shopped around for my car and found that I got the best deal here. I did feel a bit of pressure at the end to make the deal that day, but I suppose this holds true with most car dealerships. I was looking for a new lease and decided to try Patriot Nissan because I really liked the positive atmosphere in their service department when I would take my daughter's car in for service. The Sales people are the same way. Patriot Nissan consistently has attentive, nice staff all the way around. Lauren helped me with my lease and even though she's only been there 3 months, she new more about the car I was interested in than the last person I leased a car from (not a Nissan) who had been there for years. She also followed up with me and put up with my crazy schedule and indecisiveness. She was really easy going to deal with and very nice. Same with the finance people. Contacted the dealership online through trucar service. I was able to get a very fast response. The online sales team is very fast at responding to your questions. I didn't end up buying a car from this dealership as they were not able to match offers from anoother local dealer. The team was honest about what they could offer and didn't promise to match or beat a quote they weren't comfortable with. I really appreciated the honesty and them understanding value of time for their customer. Waiting room nice, shop clean, free WiFi. I brought my car back a second time to have the same issue fixed. Was told I would have to pay more money for another job that will "fix" my issue. I told them I just spent money the week before and the problem still isn't fixed. I asked do I get my money back or a significant discount on future services since I spent money on something that didn't remedy the issue. I was offered an oil change..... Sean, the salesperson I worked with, was not only friendly, polite and courteous, but was also honest, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and then some. I went in yesterday just browsing and was greeted by Sean, he was patient, answered my questions, showed me vehicles I was curious about and never pushed me into anything. He had great knowledge of the different vehicles, new and used and gave me the pros and cons on each. I originally went in to see the new Kick and was concerned about it being only front wheel drive in the winter. He gave me his opinion, which I agreed with and he showed me a couple other options. I stumbled upon the Juke and need up testing that out and next thing ya know I’m in the office with Dan (also great) and driving home with a new car! First time it wasn’t an exhausting experience, but a pleasant one. The facility is very clean, everyone is welcoming and the perks that dealership offers for being a customer is fantastic. Free inspections for the life of the vehicle, first oil change free and then free every fifth one, inexpensive tire rotations when purchased with an oil change, in which they also wash down and vacuum your car. Great extended hours for working folks! They gave me nearly a full tank of gas (any car I’ve ever purchased was almost on E) and when I go in shortly for inspection, they will detail it for me. They also set up an appointment in a month from purchase to make sure car is running properly. Offered help with the newer technology etc. really great customer service without the salesy push. I would recommend Sean and the team anyday! Thank you!

I just bought a new Nissan Maxima yesterday and a new platinum Pathfinder a few months ago. This was my 5th and 6th car I've leased from Salem Nissan. My sales guy is Pat Coffee and he has always been awsome, professionals, and a pleasure to deal with. The new facility is fabulous! The waiting area is new, clean, up to date and I always like getting a free cup of coffee from the Keurig LOL. The service department is awesome and everyone I have ever dealt with has been great. Both guys that work there have been there for years and I'm sorry I forget both of their names. It tells you something that they have both been there for so long. The owner Brett is a class act and does a great job of making the culture professional and fun. I have always done my due diligence to make sure I'm not paying too much. Their price is always fair and they have always matched any price difference for me. I can't say enough good things about Salem Nissan, Pat, Brett and everyone else. I am a loyal customer for life and would highly recommend them to anyone! Over the last 30 years I’ve bought new vehicles from over a dozen dealerships. The routine is always the same: Pull into the parking lot, and watch eyes of hungry salespeople watch you like vultures eyeing their next meal. Not so with Patriot. My wife was in the market for a new vehicle. After seeing a commercial for the Kicks SUV, we started our research. Buying a car is a lot different these days. First we reviewed ratings for the Kicks. It is a nice little highly-rated SUV. Equally as important these days is the dealership experience. When we looked at the Google reviews for Patriot, we knew we had found our new dealer. Pulling in, we were not overwhelmed by hungry salespeople who are more interested in commissions than in serving customers. We knew exactly what we were looking for when we got to Patriot, and had our numbers in hand. Chris, our salesperson, was polite, respectful, not pushy at all, and frankly, he was a nice guy and a pleasure to work with. The color we wanted was not in stock. Frank, the Sales Manager, let us know that he’d get the color we wanted in on the next business day. He delivered as promised! Taking care of the signatory process was a snap thanks to Jill. We left with the vehicle we wanted, at a price we wanted, with a great finance rate. From beginning to end, the entire experience was (by far) the best dealer experience I’ve had in decades.

Took car to be serviced. Every person was extremely helpful, and kind. I saw a class operation that surpassed it's competitor. It is a well run operation with wonderful attention to me and my car. I could ask for more. I was there Saturday because Commonwealth Motors neglected and refused to get me a tire unlock Service temporarily handled the problem, ordered the parts. I came in today and they had all the parts, promptly replaced them. As before, service was fantastic. I visited the show room and their staff was equally kind and great tempermanent. Fantastic operation. My opinion stands as does my recommendation. Go there!

I was driving from Massachusetts back up to Maine when I had a terrible drop in tire pressure! I drove right in on a busy Friday afternoon, and was greeted by Matt in service who was confident that they would have time to take care of my car. He suggested that my kids and I should go enjoy the extremely comfy waiting room. Immediately I was greeted by James the manager who was very genuine and assured me that the tire would be take care of so that I could make a safe venture back to Maine. I can honestly say, I have been looking for a car for 6+ months and every dealership had been the same (not giving me enough for my trade, extremely pushy or just really understanding what I was looking for). Patriot Nissan changed my whole perspective on buying a new/used car. I am honestly upset that I didn't go see them sooner! The moment we walked in, the front desk receptionist was very sweet and helped us find a sales team member, then she introduced us to Sam. If you are going to Patriot Nissan, I highly recommend Sam, he genuinely wants to help you find the best car and wants to understand what exactly you want (financially and for a car model). The car that I was going to look at, wasn't ready yet, so I went back a few days later to check it out. They had detailed the car and Sam even went to the lengths of sending me a detailed video of the car features and what it had to offer. Throughout the car buying process, they were very understanding, patient and loyal. Every other dealership I had been to, was pushy and just trying to 'get a deal' (I didn't get that feeling with Patriot Nissan). I actually felt like they cared about me liking the vehicle I chose and made sure it was the right decision for myself. I purchased a used ford escape, they buffed out some splatter marks on the paint and even detailed the inside before I left with it. They really made sure I was taken care of. Sam was even checking in with, leading up to the days I was ready to sign the paperwork. He was super responsive and gave me updates on the vehicle, that I had a few questions about. If you made it to the end of this long review, I can honestly say- Patriot Nissan was the best car buying experience I have had. I highly recommend checking out the vehicles they have!

My wife bought her car here and has regularly been going here for service(service contract). My wife has had a couple issues here that took more than one visit to resolve and she was charged for something each time. They also scratched her car. Service has typically been slow. Not impressed so we're avoiding this dealer in the future.

So my wife and I purchased a 2017 pathfinder here. No issues during the sale. But recently we've had issues with the check engine light coming on and off. It's a pretty new vehicle so it's weird its having this issue. Bring it to the service department and we're told it would be 130$ to run the code. Which autozone would do for free. We find out what's wrong with the car hopefully and decide to get the brakes and 2 tires done as well. Which they charged us 100$ for an allignment. You would think that after getting the work and then some done they'd waive that diagnostic fee. Nope. So 1500$ later the sales guy has the nerve to say "well you got one thing for free" and points to the recall it had.... ya I will happily take all my issues which I have a feeling there will be more to another mechanic.

Soooo... First we tried to trade in our 2006 Ford escape but they wouldn't give us any money for it. We we're looking to buy the 2015 Jeep they had. First thing the salesman asked us is if we had two sets of keys for it. They didn't want to budge on the price so we tried to leave. Well they kept the keys to our car so we couldn't leave. We went back in and haggled out a price for $20k and shook hands on it. He gave us $495 off the Jeep. I think his name was Roy. Then after we agree he tells us it's $400 more for documentation. We're done by now and just do the deal. My dad goes there today to pick it up and they only have one key. The back seat doesn't latch in so it hits him in the back the whole ride home. It won't shift into four wheel low and to top it all off they left the gas tank empty. Never going back there again.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Do NOT purchase a car from the Nissan dealership. All they want to do is take your $ and run. The salesperson I bought my car has but anything helpful. I didn’t receive my half of the forms I needed to in order to register and inspect my car. It was IMPOSSIBLE for me to get a hold of him, and I finally got my documents 2 WEEKS after I bought the car. In today’s society, it is absolutely unacceptable to not respond to a client as we all have access to the internet is some sort of form. If I didn’t email him repeatedly, I would not have gotten any of the aforementioned forms. In addition to this, I went to another Nissan dealership to get my car fixed as the brakes were squeaking. The brakes ended up being fine, but we found out that there WAS AN OPEN RECALL ON MY CAR, WHICH IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO SELL TO SOMEONE! Again, when asked how this could have happen, the salesperson was unable to be reached. I had to reach out to TWO other people just to get a hold of him. When I went back to this dealership to get this all sorted, I saw him and he didn’t even look me in the eye. Talk about horrible customer service. This place is the epitome of sketchy car salesman and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This might be the worst car dealership I have ever had to deal with. The lack of communication throughout the whole sales department is just horrible. I am still receiving calls about my lease which was purchased almost three weeks ago from a sales person. This is crazy. Plus on top of that the people we dealt with at the dealership to purchase our leased car had no clue what they were doing. Then we paid money for them to handle the RMV aspect of the purchase and they passed the buck to us to handle most of the issues. This was by far the worst experience ever. I will never go back there and hope customers stay away, unless they want to waste their time. It is not worth any deal to work with such incompetent people. Since I posted this on May 3rd I have been contacted two more times by sales people to do something with my lease. Where is the communication within this business? I purchased my lease three weeks ago! This place will be out of business soon because it might be the worse run company I have ever seen. This is just unacceptable and I feel sorry for any customer who goes there to purchase or lease a new vehicle.

Don't waste your time or money!!!!! Please!!!! This was a trip back to the antiquated, 1970's method of selling cars - and it didn't come from the Sales Rep (He was actually fine to deal with). Instead it came directly from the two, new Owners of the dealership - who I'm guessing, are likely to be bankrupt inside of a year or two! I went in on a Saturday and negotiated a fair price for a new Nissan. One of the two Partner/Owners even came out to congratulate me! I told him i was definitely buying on Saturday or Sunday but wanted to check out a couple of other dealers first (good for me, right?). While he wasn't too happy about that, he understood. Later that day, I called the Sales Rep two more times to ask some additional questions. My last phone call even confirmed the price we had spoken of 3 times earlier that day. I told him I'd be in on Sunday to close the deal. When I returned on Sunday, the Sales Rep was happy to see me, and confirmed what we had spoken of several times the day before. As i waited for him to go get all of the paperwork, he suddenly appeared with the OTHER Owner/Partner who introduced himself as so. The Owner sits down and says "So yesterday's price - - - that was some pretty aggressive wheeling and dealing huh?". I didn't respond. He then says "Today's price is $1,000 more!" - - - with this arrogant, blank stare awaiting my response. I started laughing out loud, and asked him what happened to what we had previously agreed upon with the 4 separate conversations yesterday. He said "That was yesterday's price! This is today's price! Maybe you should have taken the deal yesterday, huh". Almost chastising me like I was a child! I smiled, picked up my belongings and left. The only thing this OWNER was missing was some big gold chains around his neck; too many shirt buttons unbuttoned; a fat white belt for his bell bottomed pants; an oil slicked hair do; and smelly cologne. While most dealers understand today's consumer, this duo of owners are trapped in a time warp! Thank God I got the message nice and early in the relationship. I can imagine how terrible their service and support are AFTER the sale, if this is how they treat customers BEFORE the sale. Well, good news for Salem NH, as I'm sure some prime real estate on Rte 28 will be up for sale shortly - - at a real good price too. By the way, I was driving a new Nissan 3 hours later from another dealer who treats their customers with respect, dignity and common sense!

I recently bought a 2018 Nissan Leaf from here. Loved the car; hated the charging part. The car wasn't for me. Since it was used, it was pretty much a done deal once I signed the paperwork. The team worked with me to essentially "return" the vehicle and buy another model. They were super friendly and very courteous. They went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. I would recommend Patriot Nissan to anyone who wishes to buy a new car, especially a Nissan. By the way, I ended up buying a new Altima, and I love it!

Car prep could have been a little more professional. A 5 year old with a hose and a sponge could have done a better job. Throwing Armour All on the tires does not make it presentable either. Had to put my own antenna in as well. Needed to buy bolts to hang my front plate. Something needs to improve on that end.
