I have never experienced like this one before. I had the BEST help from Gene in helping me out in choosing a truck . He really listened to what I was looking for, and was very upfront and transparent about the whole process. I was even a little bit skeptical at first because things were running so smoothly even with the finance Dept. I would recommend Gene from Merchant Auto to any of my friends and family for any of their future car needs. They are absolutely amazing. A year ago I bought my wife Raven Jeep Grand Cherokee from Merchants and it has been nothing but trouble first it goes in for 2 recalls, then I find out I need rotors and brakes already kind of early for only having it a year but that’s not even the worst of it! I now have a car that I have 4 years left to pay on and the Transmission is gone yup that’s right I have had this vehicle for a year and the transmission has to be replaced and the warranty is expired so now I am car less and have a payment for another 4 years!! I will never buy or recommend this place to anyone ever again!!! Worst experience I have ever had in all my years of buying cars!!!

Went to merchants after hunting online for a used ram 1500. Chris B. assisted in finding one in my price range. While going over paperwork we realized there was another ram on the lot in my price range. He took the time to locate it and we took a look at that one as well. He was very helpful answering all my questions, went over different scenarios to help get an idea of monthly payments, and financing ran the numbers again, extending the payments for an additional twelve months. It was a great experience working with merchants to find a vehicle that is able to do the work it needs to. There was no pressure in purchasing a vehicle. I would definitely go back to merchants for another vehicle. Thank you merchants for a great experience.

Came in on short notice and originally test drove one vehicle (mini-van). The car was warm when we got in it and Steve "Skip" Jackson knew this vehicle. Allowing my wife and I to chat along the test drive and be patient is always key for me. He was relaxed and let us take in the experience. We opted to not get the vehicle after a day or two of thought. Skip understood and left things alone for a few days. My wife was in an accident and the need to get a car grew when mine broke down. We called Skip and gave him some new parameters and within an hour he had a vehicle for us to look at. After a short time, we were driving home in our new vehicle. Skip was able to take great care of us as he handed us off to a great financing department who were open with our options and at no time did we feel any pressure. That's big considering auto buying is one of my least favorite things to do :) Get in and see Skip Jackson if you need some vehicle love and let him take good care of you while he keeps you on your toes with some great stories! I never leave reviews but I have to say I have had two very pleasant experiences at Merchants thanks to Richard Interrante. A few years ago I went to buy a car with little idea of if I'd be able to and he made that process so simple and I left same day with a car. I just went again to inquire about what a trade in would be like and he was there again and I left with my dream car!! He is so helpful and kind and made this so much less scary of a process. Definitely would recommend merchants and especially Rich for a great car buying experience!

This is the third car we have bought from Merchant Auto. We loved our salesman Richard. This last car we purchased we were told had four new tires on it when I kept getting low tire pressure. I took it to a tire placed that showed me that only one tire was new the other three were original to the car. Scott the sales manager I spoke with was rude I asked to speak with Richard. He called and spoke with me and I told him we would be willing to absorb half the cost of new tires 225 and ask that they pay the other half as I had put 16000 miles in the vehicle. Scott refused to pay the other half. You would think that good customer service customer service would be Scott's game as a sales manager. He absolutely refused to do so after we had purchased three vehicles. We would never buy or recommend Merchants again due to the Manger Scott's decision. I think 225 would be a small price for a repeat customer.

Sales is awesome! Service department is not so good as far as honesty goes. Service writers are deceiving and try to trick you into buying services you don't want or need. Shame on them. It gives the Merchant's name a black eye.
