Stellar sales service. The sales staff were very professional and friendly. I was able to look through all the vehicles that I was interested in, and they had no issues allowing me to test drive more than one vehicle in order to hone in on exactly what I wanted. Ordering a vehicle to my exact preferences was quick and painless, and they walked me through the whole process.

We bought a used car for my wife from this dealership. We used their website (which is excellent) to review the car we were interested in and we arranged a test drive online. When we showed up at the dealership, the car was right out front for us and a salesman was ready to talk to us. Our rep was Brian Cartier and I can't say enough good things about this guy and about the whole experience. There was absolutely no pressure, all the information was up front, and there was zero stress (unlike other dealerships we've been to). They made sure we had a copy of the Car Fax report, and my wife did some research online to make sure we were getting a good deal (we were). We also financed through the dealership and it was a really quick and easy process. We worked with the office manager and she was a nice person and had our paperwork completed quickly and easily. We had one hiccup - one of the headlights was out on the car the day after we picked it up. We called Brian and he was super accommodating, and arranged to have it fixed immediately at no cost to us. Five stars all around for everyone we encountered at this dealership. I would definitely buy again from Mercedes of Portsmouth and I highly recommend it.

I just had my first experience with this dealerships service department. My car was brought in on a flatbed on Friday afternoon 200 miles from our home dealership in need of some serious repairs. Parts needed to be procured and installed so Adam told us Monday afternoon was probably the earliest we could expect the car to be repaired if they could get the parts. On Saturday morning we received a call saying our car was fixed and ready to be picked up. This service department somehow sent someone to get the parts then put extra manpower on to get us back on the road. If this is how well they treat a passing customer I can just imagine how well regular customers are treated. Thank you to all of your personal who pitched in to get us on our way.

Brought my 05 C-320 in for check up on Esp module issues. Was qouted more than 5k to repair everything but that item. Was told drain ports for windshield cowel plugged. Not true. Was told front Mims was corroded as result. Not true mine are like new. Was told both rear coil springs were broken. Not true mine are fine could use lower rubber seats but are ok. They were very professional and charged me a good amount of money for the extremely inaccurate diagnosis. Im my own mechanic with greater than 30 years repairing and building vehicles of all kinds. At 135,000 miles my 320 is in near perfect shape. Best you know your car when you go here for service. I have replaced the ESP module as it is a common fail part. No further issues.

Came in looking at the GLS 450. The second we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile. Very helpful on a test drive, and helped us find a good deal on a dealer courtesy car we were interested in buying. Brian answered all questions I had to my complete satisfaction and now I am the owner of a beautiful 2018 CPO GLS450. My wife and I had the best car buying experience we have ever had at Portsmouth Holloway Mercedes. I just called into the service department and received Ashley who sounded like she was in her 20s/30s. I asked a question about a warranty and she told me that the MB CPO was not transferable privately. I had told her I knew otherwise and she persisted. I was calling to find out the date/mileage the CPO ended. She gave me the info. but it was a struggle to receive it (she was confrontational and argumentative). When I proceeded to finalize the phone call she hung up on me when I asked for her name. It was obvious she did not like being faced with information different then what she was giving me so opted to hang up on me when confirming her name (I called back to receive it from the operator before doing this post). I hope this dealerships service department does not behave like this typically and know firsthand that you do not receive this level of treatment when you call other dealerships. I hope this dealership starts training their service personnel to not only treat people with respect but to also give the customers the correct information. Ashley, her is the transfer info. direct from the website so you are able to understand the CPO transfer info. and start giving people correct info.

It has been approx. one month since I purchased a CPO C300 from this dealership. Hands-down one of the best auto buying experiences I have encountered to date. My sales executive, Brian Cartier, was fantastic and personally oversaw my transaction from demo to finance; even taking the time to set my personal preferences and setting on the vehicle prior to leaving the lot. 3/11 Picked up the car and everything is all set Alex and Bethany did a fine job and the car looked brand new. Thanks 3/7 Update still no title almost a month after a signed purchase and sale. 2/27 Update the communications have improved with dealer team but I'm still waiting on the title as there was a mistake on the original from the auction house/original dealer and has lead to additional delays. Not a great experience so far & still no car! Purchased a Certified 2014 SLK250 on February 10th, sent final payment in on that Monday 2/13/2017 (cash sale), the dealer cashed the check 2/17/2017, Supposed to pick up the car on 2/17/2017, got a call from the Sale person Alex that the car would not be ready they were waiting for the title from the auction house. Told the car should be available on the 21st. I had to email the 21st to check, no response, I called on the 21st car not ready still no title should be available on 24th. Had to call because I did not hear from the dealer still not available. I escalated to Mike Collins the GM. Mike assured me he talked to the auction house and would receive overnight the title and everything would be ready on the 3/1. No call Mike to confirm and still have not received a call back after a couple of hours. No tracking number provided I have to rely on poor follow-up from the dealer and waste my time making calls. To the dealer if there is an issue, call your customer regularly/ daily and let them know you are doing all you can to expedite, why should the customer have to follow up with you every time. It is your reputation not mine. I may or may not get the car in the end but this dealer will loose a customer.

Spoke with three Mercedes-Benz dealerships while looking for a new Car. While Portsmouth was not the closest, they were by far the most professional, courteous and honest dealership of all. Brian Cartier respected my time, had the cars I wanted to test drive ready, made the purchase easy and comfortable. He knew the product well and was able to answer my questions. Bethany Juneau was responsive via email and phone, and Bridget in finance was very knowledgeable. Once I had decided on my purchase I mentioned it to a friend from Massachusetts, who said I should have used her dealership, as they are the best. This was honestly the worst experience at a car dealership I have ever experienced! First, they told me I was approved and to pick the car up on Saturday. After driving ONE hour to pick up car the finance manager calls me and tells me they need more paperwork and I cannot pick up car! After I send her paperwork I never got a call back and she will not answer any of my calls. I have tried calling the sales manager Jeremy and finance manager named Bridget and NOTHING!!!! Won’t even pick up it return my phone calls!!!! They even had me by a insurance binder for $320 and still don’t even have the courtesy to return my phone call! From the moment you walk in you are greeted by several honest, knowledgeable and respectful team members. NO pressure, hassle free, super friendly plus you can see and test drive the cars you want instead of a previous experience where you have to return and test drive. I was truly impressed - this dealership has their inventory onsite, it's impressive and they invest in their brand! Our family recently leased 2 cars from Mercedes-Benz of Portsmouth. These decisions were based on honesty, outstanding service and a previous relationship with a RI Family Owned Dealership. Why Portsmouth? We had a very poor experience at a Multi-Management layered Mercedes Dealership in the MA Northshore area. We couldn't believe what we were experiencing - it was like a used car lot, they were not honest with us and completely wasted our time having us return 3 times. As I drove away the last time shaking my head at their approach (NOT a luxury car buying experience), the light dawned! I recalled that Jake Kaplan's Jaguar of Warwick RI (where I have had a relationship for 7+ years) purchased a Mercedes Dealership about 2 years ago. I called into the Warwick dealership and asked for an introduction to Portsmouth. I was given Eddy Allen's name, the Portsmouth's GM. I called and Eddy immediately took my call! Was miraculous as the layers you have to go through at others are so tiring, time consuming and frustrating especially when they are not being truthful with you. Eddy listened to our story, said I think we can get close and he'd get right back. Background: my son was in the process of leasing another car, saw a Mercedes ad on TV, took a test drive and fell in love with another Mercedes SUV. No doubt the ad worked as it lured us in! Within 15 minutes, Eddy returned our call and said he had a SUV that he thought could work and we arranged to meet after work. Eddy and Les Barker (sales consultant) waited for us to arrive that evening. They both stayed past closing time and Les took us on a test drive. The SUV sells itself and Les was an excellent representative and had fun sharing all the features and amenities that Mercedes-Benz has to offer. 1,2,3 - one and done and my son had his SUV the next day! From this experience and my desire to have a different vehicle as I had previously purchased the same car twice, I asked to test drive a convertible (new 4MATIC out this year) and I also immediately fell in love! When we came back to pick up my son's SUV, we learned everyone else felt the same way I did as the model I wanted was sold out! The next one was due in 3 weeks. Eddy and Les sent me the details in advance, held the car for me (without a deposit and nuisance paperwork) and again the car sold itself! Buying the car is also seamless (painless too) form their online application, speedy and friendly paperwork processing to professional service along with a delivery time when it is convenient for you! They know and respect that you are their customer. If you want personalized genuine service, an honest deal with no hassle selling, then Mercedes-Benz of Portsmouth is your dealership. I recently purchased my certified pre-owned 2012 C-300 from the Greenland dealership and it's more than perfect! I was by far impressed with everyone's professionalism, and caring nature about what I wanted in a new car as well as my specific needs. Every single one was met by their amazing sales team. I would recommend this dealership to everyone, the experience was an excellent one! Dick Mariano was my sales representative and he made the process so easy and quick for me working with Jeremy Copp, the business manager to set up a finance option. My payment is super affordable and I can't thank them enough for their exceptional service. The style of the C-class is so sporty, yet the inside is extremely comfortable, and the features this car has are incredible! I will be a customer for life after my experience with them. Might I add, the looks I've received driving around in my new car! Everyone needs to experience what I've experienced and drive home in their shiny new Mercedes-Benz! Best service by far! The whole team made the purchase of my first Mercedes a special one! From JP, Justin and Jeremy my process was fast friendly and above all so smooth. Justin even suggested I take the car for a test drive for the day to see if I liked it, well I fell in love with it! Well played Justin :) The whole team is just amazing, really can't say enough great things about them. Big plus was that they made my toddler feel right at home, from cars to ride around the show room floor to an IPad with games and puzzles on it. Parts Department gets 5 stars. Service Department gets negative stars. No opinion regarding Sales as I have not interacted with them yet. Parts team; responsive, takes time to look up and order the right parts. Excellent service. Service team; dis-engaged. My SL600 is not an available model in their computer system (what?). Asked friendly and they are just head down and not interested im establishing a relationship. Wow. I ran Service for a Chevrolet dealership in the 90's and realized that Service sells the second car. I bought my M3 from their system dealership years ago, and not interested in any other relationship with them other than parts. Again - Parts Department gets 5 stars!

Can't say we would recommend believing the molasses covered fake positives. These people are just plain rude. One rude snot after another. Katrina was a real treat. It must be nice to be in the customer service business and to ignore even basic standards of professionalism. Now, we do believe if you BUY an expensive car from them they will ____ . But, otherwise they are laughable. One last thought - people like this usually do what they know they can get away with. Management?

We realized on a Saturday morning that we were due for our yearly maintenance and an inspection. Called Mercedes of Portsmouth at 11am and was offered an appt. for noon! We took it and promptly left for our 40 min. trip. We arrived almost 10 mins. late and the service manager was very nice about it. He offered us a brand new car to use while we waited for our service. When we got back, our car was done, and washed! I had a few questions regarding my bluetooth capabilities and he was nice enough to sit in the car with me and answer all my questions! I have a dealership right in my own town, but still prefer to make the drive to Portsmouth, where we purchased the car! Also, while we were waiting, we were looking at the new cars. We were approached by Mike Steere to see if we had any questions. I knew there was a new model coming out and wanted to know if he had a picture of it. He very nicely took us in his office and brought the vehicle up on his computer and gave us plenty of information on it!

I just received my very specific, hard to find 2017 Cadillac Escalade that I bought from these guys and had shipped to me in Texas. I dealt with Hamlet (just like Shakespear) and both he and his dealership were very easy to deal with and even easy to negotiate with! And the car is EXACTLY as Hamlet described it, and I am tickled!! It’s exactly like the pictures Hamlet texted me and just like the walk around video he emailed me!! It’s PERFECT! Buying sight unseen can be a nervous experience as I’ve done this before, but these guys are on top of their game and I’m here to tell you Hamlet and this dealership are honest, trustworthy, accurate and detailed in their business dealings! We recently leased a 2018 C-300 from Mercedes Benz of Portsmouth. Whether you lease or purchase normally it is not a problem for anyone within the area. However, in our case we live in Argentina and have with a condo in Boston plus we are never in the US more than six months. Add to that excitement, the car we picked had a cracked windshield that needed to be replaced. From day one Alex Thompson our sales representative, was with us all the way. As things go, the replacement windshield was delayed, Alex was able to plan for us to take possession of the car (so we could turn in our rental) and drive back to Boston. During the entire process of getting tags, the windshield repaired and inspection Alex was there for us saving us time, effort and the hassle of running back and forth between locations. Perhaps next time we will go for brand new, but as far as support we’ll stick with Alex. A potentially disastrous experience made great!

The most welcoming, professional and truly communicatively informational sales staff and service department. This review is for the Sales Department, specifically dealing with Bethany Juneau, Alex Olivares-Thompson, and Jeremy Copp. Communications was good with Bethany up to the time we drove the 2 hours one way to look at a car that had been advertised for sale for at least 51 days. Bethany promised to let us know if the car was going to be sold prior to our scheduled appointment, to avoid wasting our time. We show up at our Saturday Apt. and test drive the car with Alex. We enjoyed Alex, he was helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicle. We liked the car so we made an offer. That is when we were told by Jeremy that, by chance, after 51 days, someone made an offer the day before and we were to be second fiddle based on other party’s credit financing. So Jeremy said he would notify us by the end of the day. With this we sign a tentative sales agreement. That is when all communications from the dealership stopped. All 3 sales persons failed to return calls. We called back on Saturday and could not reach anyone. We call back several times on Monday and left messages to have all three call us back. No response or call-backs. Tuesday we finally here from Bethany stating they are still trying to contact the person who slipped in before us, but have not heard back but they will let us know that by the end of the day if they had not heard the car was ours. End of day no call so we called them, they say they heard from the 1st offer and they moving forward with them. This is by far the worst I have been treated by a dealership is the 30+ years of buying cars. Communications is awful and just getting jerked around. I have to wonder if our offer was used as a sale tool to get another potential higher offer or to sway someone on the fence of making an offer. Anyway the car is still for sale even though they have 2 sales agreements in play. Their behavior far exceeds the bad stereotype of a used car salesman. I hope this review enlightens anyone who is shopping used cars at this dealership so they do not get caught up in the sales tactics. If anyone has a similar experience I hope you share with us all.

Bought my first Benz here & can't say enough about the staff. Ben Lamont was extremely knowledgable about the cars & purchase process, & was able to acquire the exact car I was looking for in a short amount of time. He even continued to answer my questions and help me out with parts & orders after I had taken delivery of the vehicle. Communication between the departments is very good and saved me a lot of time each time I went in to check on something. I don't hesitate to call or return for help. I look forward to going back, if, for nothing else, to check out the C63s in the showroom. Won't be the same place when they sell that one! Update: Went in for service to have a clear shield replaced due to something having struck the front of the car. (Clear shield did what it was supposed to do & protected the paint on my car.) I scheduled a time w/ Ashley & a week later I was on my way. While I was heading to Greenland she called me and told me the install guy had an emergency & couldn’t keep the appointment. Ashley was very apologetic & it was no big deal to me so we rescheduled & when I came in the dealership covered the complete cost of the service and I walked away with a new clear shield. THAT is service from ANY dealership if you ask me. I love this place, these guys are great. Looking forward to maintaining my relationship with MB and Greenland.

Never thought I would be able to afford a Mercedes, but after seeing one I liked , went in to MB Portsmorth to discuss. I spoke to Taif Chowdary who was excellent. Not the usual hard selling tactics that you would expect , but walked and talked me through everything I wanted and helped me find the car that I wanted . Just by chance I went to Holloway MB to look at their pre-owned certified pre-owned C300. The CPO's were immaculate, both in and out. I met with Richard M. in sales, he showed me the car I was interested in. I liked the non typical no-pressure approach in the sales process. Richard was able to put together a great deal for the 2012 CPO C300 along with a great trade in price on my car. Richard was also to confirm some questions I had on the CPO warranty. I found the service to be great in the Sales dept. Chris was also wonderful in making sure I was happy with the car, along with taking care of some concerns I had. I was able to complete the sales process in under an hour and off with my car. Richard also spent time with me reviewing the features of the Mercedes. I am very happy with the car, never would I have thought that I would have a MB parked in my driveway. MB is a wonderful, engineered vehicle. I would highly recommend Holloway .

I can’t thank my Salesman Jim Lowell and the Service Team enough for going the extra mile and FIXING the wind noise problem I was having on my 2016 E350. I let Jim know I had been hearing a whistling sound from around my windshield for a few months whenever I was on the highway going over 65-70 mph. He discussed the issue with their Assistant Service Manager, John Kuliga and had one of their technicians go for a short drive with me so I could show them directly where the sound was coming from. They were then able to properly diagnose the problem and now the sound has been totally eliminated. Not many dealerships would take the time and effort that they did and they have my sincere appreciation and loyalty for diagnosing and solving this problem.

there should be options for Negative starts. i would give last start in Negative as well. If there is no other dealer then look for another car. Never Buy from here it will be biggest mistake of ur life if u buy from here.

I have been buying cars from Holloway since 1992. They are always very friendly and professional. Last Saturday I stopped in looking for the perfect car and met Jim Lowell, he was the most knowledgable person. He showed me all the features of the S550. On the drive he let me experience features I did not know the car had. He listened to what I cared about for options and when it was not available on the lot, he searched for what I wanted and found one in Mass. There's just something about the quality and design of a Mercedes that takes the cake in my eyes. I was in the Market for a C300 4matic and I found the exact one I wanted here. Brian in sales and Jeremy his manager are both solid guys and worked with my father and I to make this happen for me for my 30th birthday. 8 months since buying my 2012 CLS550 and still have only great things to say about Ben Lamont and the service team. Ben let me know what to expect with the CLS compared to other models, knew every inch of the car and its features, and spent more than enough time with me. Never rushed. Never pushed. He even followed up to make sure everything was good after the sale. I came back for a small oil leak and bad valve stem a few months later and the service dept treated me very well and charged me a very fair price. Extremely happy with MB of Portsmouth!

I have only had one interaction with their service department, and I will never set foot in this dealership again. I purchased a gorgeous old E-500 from an estate sale, and learned that there had been a recall on the car. If I remember correctly, it was something related to the rear suspension. The service-writer, a smarmy character named John, told me that he would have to speak to the service manager about the repair and would then call me to schedule an appointment. After two weeks of waiting, I called him for an update. He informed me that the repair required equipment that they did not have, and that they weren't going to invest in said equipment to work on a 15-year old car. If his brush-off didn't make it clear that they had no interest in me as a customer, his tone certainly did. He could have just said that they didn't have the equipment, and left out the commentary about the age of my car. He could have referred me to another shop that had the equipment, or helped me to arrange the repair with MB-USA. He also could have actually called me back in the first place. His greatest expenditure of effort came in trying to get rid of me as soon as possible. UPDATE: Bethany, you did have a John that worked in your service department. He's the clown that came from Audi of Stratham, but it sounds like me must have moved on. I'm perfectly aware of which dealership I was reviewing, and everything in my review is 100% accurate.

On April 30, 2018 I purchased a 2015 Mercedes C300 Sedan with 15k miles. On 5/11/2018 I visited the location because I was concerned as to why the vehicle was pulling when I would accelerate. The dealership stated the shift concern was normal as that is how vehicles were made now-a-days. On 5/31/2018 I noticed the entire clear top coat was lifting from the front of the car and on the hood. The dealership took my vehicle in for repair and repainted both bumpers due to the clear coat peeling and could not provide me with an explanation as to why. On 6/7/2018 the dealership took my vehicle back for an issue with the windshield wipers. On 6/29/2018 the touchpad that operates the screen stopped working. My car was taken into service to repair the issue. On 10/15/2018 my car was making rattles upon start up and the engine was squeaking. I also noticed the coolant level indicator would come on and off, the backup camera would freeze randomly and that the heat could not be turned on with the on/off button but instead with the temperature setting (degrees). The dealership took my car in for repair and stated the pistons in the engine needed to be replaced meaning the whole engine would be removed from the vehicle. The other items could not be recreated or repaired. On 11/11/2018 my vehicle started to make noises from the engine once again. The heat button was also still not working. I called the dealership and explained my frustration to the General Sales Manager, Miki Farris, who asked me to bring my vehicle in and to have a sit-down conversation with him on 11/14/2018. On 11/14/2018 I met with Miki. He asked me to explain my issues and I went through the issues as I listed here in my review. Miki stated we could get me in to another vehicle that I would be happy in. At this point, I explained to Miki that if we were going to go that route I did not want to increase my monthly payments and that I did not want to take out a loan for more than I currently have left on the vehicle that has been giving me issues since purchase. Miki said he completely understood. Miki found a 2015 C300 Sedan and said this would fit the bill. He told me I could take the vehicle home for the night to ensure I was happy with how it drove, etc. He assured me that I did not have to worry about the number crunching, he would figure it all out so that I did not have a loan for more than what I currently owed on my vehicle and that my monthly payments would not increase. On 11/16/2018 I was asked to return to the dealership, so we could finalize the paperwork for the vehicle exchange. To my surprise, Miki was not present. Instead, he had a sales person (Hamlet) handle the transaction. I sat down at Hamlet’s station and he presented me with the purchase price etc. of the new vehicle. As soon as I saw the numbers, I stated this is not what Miki and I had discussed as what I saw in the numbers was a fresh loan for the full amount of the vehicle. Hamlet sent over Jeremy Copp, Certified Sales Manager, who reiterated what Hamlet has stated and apologized for any confusion. I explained that there was no confusion, it was simply that Miki had made a promise he did not follow through with nor was he very ethical in making a promise he could not fulfil. I left the dealership completely exhausted with the process and once again I left in a rental. On 11/28/2018 my vehicle was returned to me once more. The dealership found another issue with the engine and replaced the high-pressure fuel pump. The dealership also found an issue with the heat control and replaced that as well. As of 11/28/2018, I have had my vehicle taken into the dealership for a variety of reasons – an approximate 6 times. Each time I have been without my vehicle, which I am paying for, about a week or two. In total, I have owned my vehicle 9 months and been without it for approximately 2 months. I will continue this review if and when any more issues with my vehicle arise.
