ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE, I would not recommend anyone to go here I have called them with the interested of purchasing a vehicle. The sales person George got all my information and told me he would contact me first in the morning to let me know what he could. It is now 12:00pm and guess what still no call or information from him. Then when I made a comment on there facebook page they didn't like what I had to say so they deleted the post. So another words they only want good comments on there Facebook page and not the bad ones. In my eyes they are just like any other car dealership trying to screw the customer. SO PEOPLE PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!!!!!

I did not buy my Hyundai from this dealership however, it is closer to home. I have FOUR recalls on my 2014 Hyundai and have been trying to get an appointment with the Salem, NH dealership to get everything fixed. Not only did they not answer their phone but I left a message and never received a call back. I spoke with one woman who did not seem to care that I spent 30 minutes on hold and had to call back multiple times to finally get to her who them transferred me to a voicemail. Awful customer service!!! I bought my car, make my monthly payments and now me and my families lives could be effected by these numerous recalls and nobody cares.

Lee is awesome! My husband and I got stuck on the 495 and were towed to the dealership! Lee promised to get the car in and diagnosis...it was close to closing time and couldn't get it done before they closed so he helped us find a place to stay and had Anthony take us there! We couldn't be happier with the service, the friendly atmosphere, and the up-to-date information! Anthony even gave us great local information! If we lived closer, Salem Ford Hyundai would absolutely get our repeat business! Thank you for restoring my faith in dealerships!

I'll start with the guy at the desk (forgot his name but in my experience here all of the people at the service desk are extremely polite, responsive and helpful). The mechanics however... not so sure what's going on back there but they seem to be clueless. I have an SUV, the back door randomly stopped closing. I did not have an accident just opened the door and then shut it and the lock would not catch to keep it shut. I brought it here to be serviced and also asked to check the media screen since I was having issues with it. They said I needed a system update for the media issue. Long story short, 2 days later I still don't have a car, the system still won't update and I was told they can't fix the door!? That I needed to take it to an autobody shop since there's internal damage..???... again it just randomly stopped working, no accident happened. I then took my car down the street to Meineke for my annual inspection which failed because the back door won't stay shut. I explained what Ford told me and he confirmed it made no sense and he was able to fix it himself. As for the media center, they told me the system was down and it'd be a few weeks before it was working again. A few weeks? Dealing with no radio here and there seems more bearable than dealing with this place again. Again the service desk was great to work with but the whole point of bringing my car there was to get repaired... its baffling that Ford couldn't fix it's own car but a Meineke mechanic could...

Bought a brand new f250 Went to rotate my tires for the first time discovered they had put locking lug nuts on the wheels but didn’t include the key. Went to the service department the lady blamed me for not checking when I bought it and the sales man who sold it to me(even though I doubt the sales men went out there and put locking lugs nuts on the trucks) after a 30 min wait she told me I was lucky they didn’t charge me and the mechanic who did the work was complaining about working for free. She told me my truck was out front and when walking up to it I noticed the center caps weren’t on so I looked in the bed and they weren’t there I looked in the cab and there was one in the passenger seat and the other three thrown in the back seat. I didn’t dare finish the coffee I had left in the cup holder during the repair. I would have been a lot more up set if I had got a flat on the side of the high way and had to get the whole truck towed because some careless Salem ford employee misplace the lug key

I've bought 7 new vehicles and had 90% of my service work done here since 1980. I've always had a great experience until this last time. The owners made quite a few changes with all new service advisors. The one who I dealt with recently tried to pull a fast one on me. I asked to have a specific thing done to the vehicle and he didn't do it. When I found out he hadn't he had the vehicle brought back in to do what I had asked for. Then the repair slip didn't even state what I had asked to be done and he refused to change it. I've also been trying to get a recall repair done and he told me parts were not yet available. I showed him the letter from Ford stating that the parts were available and he just shrugged. I asked him to order the parts and call me when they were in so we could set an appointment and he stated "It doesn't work that way". Seriously??? Horrible experience. I called Ford directly and they set me up with another local Ford dealer who had it fixed within 2 days. Very pleasant experience. (AutoFair Ford in Haverhill, MA.) Sad. I really liked the folks in Salem and my salesperson Matt Pina is the best. I'm going to miss him and office worker Kathy but my new go to place is AutoFair.

Way overpriced and customer service skills. tell you one thing and then charge you double I brought my truck in to get a new tune update 5 days later and still no truck!! how does something that takes a half hour to do take five days!!! not to mention I had an appointment for this truck and they just skipped over me. I felt I was misinformed and misled about a number of things during the buying process. First, when I was test driving the Ford Fiesta sedan on May 30, the salesperson mentioned the cash incentives were going to end the next day (end of the month). But, I checked Ford's website afterwards and it was actually on July 7. I also asked about the extra charge for the Ruby Red Tinted Clearcoat color on the vehicle, and the salesperson explained that there is an extra charge for every color, eventhough Ford actually charges extra for only specific colors. I would have settled for a different color to avoid the extra charge. Also, the salesperson gave me a Sirius satellite brochure explaining how the vehicle came with a 6 month free trial period, but that was not true. The vehicle did not even have satellite radio equipped. Plus, I did not even get the complimentary Ford Sync Services subscription either that usually comes with purchase. Another thing is the salesperson said he would call me as soon as my vehicle was registered and the license plates were ready. He did not do that, so I had to call the next day to find out for myself. I paid an extra $80 for that service that I could have just done myself. So I feel I was deceived with this misinformation just so I would buy the vehicle. Being misled, I felt pressured that I would lose out on a great deal if I did not put a down payment immediately. But now I feel I only got an average price, not a good price for the car. Plus, a few weeks later, the cash incentive for the Fiesta increased and was $250 more than what I got, which I am not too happy about either. Furthermore, I really was not in a rush to purchase a vehicle and wanted to consider other models like the Ford Focus sedan, which has a wider cabin and its price is comparable to what I paid for the Fiesta. I did not have the chance to consider the Focus because the salesperson put a lot of pressure on me to buy the Fiesta. Plus, the dealership did not have the Focus sedan trim I wanted in stock at the time, but of course they do currently. And after driving the Fiesta more, I realize it does not have sufficient legroom and hiproom as I thought. The seats are quite smaller than I first noticed and do not provide much leg support. So my legs get sore and cramp up if I drive longer than about 15 minutes. I regret purchasing the Fiesta from this dealership. I am unhappy with the price I paid and the salesperson. Because he misinformed and misled me, I do not trust this dealership now. And what really drives me crazy is the price of the Focus sedan at this dealership is about the same as what I paid for the Fiesta.

The worst experience ever in my Life, not only they dont return your calls or help, they leave you high and dry. ive been paying a warrarnty for 2 years and never could receive coverage because it wasn't covered. I triied to trade it back in since day one and all they did was try to put me in more depth so i'm stuck with a dangerous truck on the road that gets messed up almost 3 months.

Do NOT do business with this company. Once your car reaches a certain mileage they will no longer bother attempting to fix the vehicle when it starts having issues. They will "advise" you that it's time to get a new vehicle but will still gladly take your money replacing random parts if you insist on trying to get the most out of your vehicle. But they won't actually fix your vehicle. You will only get another 3 to 6 months out of it before you have to go down there again and the cycle will continue to repeat. Note that the mileage on my car is only in the hundred and thirty thousand mile range and I've seen other cars last way longer

I've had MANY bad experiences buying cars. I recently made a purchase at Hyundai of Salem in mid July that was excellent! I wasn't there for hours haggling and there weren't any surprise fees during the paperwork. I was able to negotiate an out-the-door price. The young man who sold me the Santa Fe, Evan Skinner, was very friendly, professional and didn't keep pressuring me about upgrades, extra warrantees, etc. The car salesmen aren't paid commission and think that makes a big difference as well. I also got a fair trade-in offer for my vehicle as I expected from doing research online at Kelley Blue Book and others. I highly recommend buying Hyundai's. This is my 4th Hyundai vehicle. I have never had ANY issues with any of them. They are extremely reliable, great quality and Hyundai has the best warranty out there,... and never mind the bang for your buck. I couldn't believe all the incredible features my Santa Fe SEL Plus has!!! I could go on and on. Ultimately, I do highly recommend buying at Key Hyundai of Salem. *They also had the lowest prices then other Hyundai locations near me. It was well worth the 1hr 20 min. drive.

Few weeks ago i brought my 2017 hyundai Tucson because it was making loud noise and speed was not going above 40 miles. It has only 90000 miles. After they checked they told me that transmission is gone thet have to replace new transmission and it will cover by warranty because car had less than 100000 miles. But one week later they called me and told me that they need to change muffler and it will cost me $2300. Now i feel they screwed me very well and they took my money for nothing. I don't recommend anyone to go there anymore . i never buy hyundai car in my life again and i never go to key hyundai. They are theft.

Dont waste your time dealing with their "no hassle" program. They will not keep you up to date with anything. I ordered a car through them to get a 2013 turbo veloster. 3 months of not hearing from them I stopped in. No update. A month later dealt with hyundai manufacturing customer support and actually got somewhere. David the hyundai manager called me to tell me that they are not making 2013s anymore. 4 months of my life gone and instead of really trying to help he just pushed past that fact and tried to sell me cars that dont exist on the market yet. Not to mention I had a 500 dollar deposit of the car. A week later of not receiving my check I stopped in to find out what is wrong now. David wasnt in till 12. 2oclock rolls around and no call. I call and first time he lets the call go to voicemail called back 1 second later and he picked right up saying "hi sean". Not obvious I was ignored. After a week you would think you would get your money back. He had no info for me so naturally I blew up on him. He hung up. Called the key auto group customer service and speaked to their management. 2 seconds later got a call back with some info. Any time they say they will help you they will not. All they do is want to make money. They are not interested in any of your needs. They are unprepared [every time I called I keep getting this is the first im hearing of this." If you want to find a good dealer find someone that will actually represents you and at least acts like they care. Just purchased 2014 vw from autofair. Staff actually cared and are interested but not only for the sale but they will push for your sale to work in a non pressure environment. Pay the few extra dollars for actual service. Dont get left in the dark

This was my first visit and dealings with Salem Ford/Hyundai. I used the internet first and found there site and followup very good. There pricing was the best I found in the whole area. The best thing was they didn't try to add extras on the vehicle before or after I bought it. This was unlike one of the big ones in the Manchester area who tried to stick you with $800 worth of seat protection that was a deal killer. Overall my wife and I had a Great Experience with Salem Ford/Hyundai and the sales people we dealt with where top notch and very nice. Give them a try

I showed up to test drive a small manual transmission sports car, and despite being a relatively young guy they trusted me to take it out alone for over an hour to get a good feeling for it. It ended up not being a good fit for me, but at no point did they pressure me to make a purchase or to have my car appraised. If I decide to check out another car, I'm coming back here.

Service Dept - HORRIFIC. Never EVER answer phones or call you back with updates. To receive an update on your vehicle you will have to physically drive to the dealer and do a face to face. Call anytime during the week and see if I’m wrong, you will get the answering machine and won’t receive a call back. You also may be told your vehicle is repaired but never make it home because it is in fact not repaired. They are allergic to test drives and seem to just throw a part in and park it saying it’s done. Speak to friends who own Fords and where they feel comfortable bringing it before going here.

Stay the way you are! Even though I had done thorough research on cars that would fit my need, for some reason Hyundai did not appear on my radar until the last minute... Turns out I literally saved the best for last! James St. Brice provided top notch customer service from the moment I arrived on the lot. He immediately made me feel at ease, projecting a transparency and sense of customer oriented business I had not experienced at other car dealerships. He was knowledgeable, patiently answered all my questions, displayed a great sense of humor and thorough understanding of his customer's needs- to make it short, he made this purchase a breeze. (I believe it took an hour from the time I arrived on the lot to the moment I left with my brand new, fully inspected Hyundai Accent). At no point did James try to upsell or influence my buying decision, but provided guidance when needed, The whole buying process was extremely pleasant, and I received a very generous value for my trade in. Handling the financial part was a breeze, Tom Adams was extremely friendly and knowledgeable while guiding me through the paperwork- and the team literally walked, or rather drove the extra mile to assist me in closing the deal! Honestly, I wish I needed a couple of more cars- because Key Hyundai (and James St. Brice) are just the place to go! One comment about the title of my review... even though you guys are fantastic, something tells me that you are not going to stay the way you are- but just will get better and better, like the cars you sell!

I just purchased a 2013 Santa Fe Sport 2.0 AWD with the tech package from Salem Hyundai. The dealership went the extra mile to located the specific vehicle that I requested, and actually pulled it in from a dealership in Albany, NY. This vehicle build and color combination was difficult to land as it is so new, but Mike Palmer and company did not give up. Price-wise, they bettered any dealer in the area. The Customer Support Specialists (Gina in particular) were a valuable assist during the pre-sale and post-sale periods. Salem Ford has refused to back up their product. My son's 4 wheel drive new truck got stuck in the snow. He got it out but there were mechanical issues. He immediately brought it to Salem Ford to utilize the guarantee. They refused to honor it and wanted him to pay hundreds of dollars to fix it. He has owned brand new Ford products since the early 1990's. He always liked Salem Ford and now they won't back him up. This is not an abused vehicle. He takes care of his things. Possibly the Ford Dealership needs new management. This was poor decision making on their part. They lost a whole family of Ford owners. Also, if you look at the reviews it seems things have gone downhill in the past 2 years. They had stellar reviews 2 years ago. I wonder what has changed.

Just letting everyone I know that the service and professionalism shown by Salem Ford Hyundai has been absolutely terrible. I have a loan approval in hand, ready to buy a car (even tho I don't need one) and they can't seem to get out of their own way to tell me the location of cars I want to test drive, respond to emails or the basic professional attitude that I expect from a dealership. I have visited many dealerships in the area and the experience I had with James St Brice was awesome! James was knowledgeable of the cars and didn't pressure me into buying. When I went to this dealership I was very excited. I spoke with the sales guy Angel and he was so nice but of course he was just because he needed to make a sale. Then I go for the oil change on my car that I'm leading through them, one of the service guy messed up my back up camera and the sensor - well I let them know about it and I contacted the manager Shane who made me wait 2 months of me emailing and calling him to tell me that I will have to go through the insurance because his guy told him he didn't do it.... Mind you, this happened when the car was still in their lot. Seriously the worst experience.

I don't have enough good things to say about Salem Ford Hyundai. I started my search for a new vehicle knowing I had poor credit and no prior loan history. I was fully prepared to go with a used vehicle with a terribly high APR. But in an effort to do my due diligence and investigate every option, I went to Salem Ford Hyundai. I was surprised to find out that purchasing a new vehicle would be more cost-effective for me. Please note, I was NOT "upsold" into purchasing a new car over a used one. In fact, going in I wanted a new car. SFH simply made it possible. And with a low APR. (Low in comparison to the 4 other dealers that gave me quotes.) I would recommend anyone in search of a new (or used) vehicle visit Salem Ford Hyundai.

I leased a 2015 Genesis here because they had the lowest price. However their follow through has been sub-par. Among other things, they screwed up the initial "waive your 3 last payments" lease deal, they gave up on fixing a vibration issue with the car (still have that issue), and now they will not help me with lease-end issues. With regard to the latter, I needed a 4 - 6 month solution before buying or leasing a new car, and while I get that helping me with that might not put money in their pockets immediately, failing to help me ensures that I will shop elsewhere when the time comes.

Excellent car buying experience at Salem Ford Hyundai. I made an appointment in advance and Austin was waiting at the door for me when I arrived. Everyone there made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I was a little nervous about financing, but they made it happen and I left with my new car that very same day. I had such a great experience that about two months later I brought my mom in to get her some new wheels. Again, we worked with Austin and Armando and it was just as easy the second time. Worst service ever. I can honestly say I’ve never spent hundreds of dollars on parts while my car persisted with issues. Fixed my car somewhere else and found out that all parts (suspensions, ball joints, bushings) within my car’s engine were all loose after bringing it to this place a whole bunch of times. Do me a favor, stay away from these guys and go somewhere else reliable. They’ll make you spend so much money than you’re supposed to and they’ll lie to you saying that your car is “good to go.” Car is in perfect condition now.

Bought a 2015 Genesis here 3 months ago. The car had obvious defects from the beginning which the dealership promised to fix. 7 trips back and forth and this car is still not right. They let me drive it for 1 1/2 months without a spare tire. The general manager tried to get the service dept to give me a tire that didn't even match my car. Today they went to replace the defective radio and now the backup camera doesn't work. This dealership is by far the worst place I've ever done business at. Stay away.

I wasn't given a break down of what I was buying.. it was basically "here's a car, sign here"! I was rushed out the door. When I had problems with my brand new vehicle, it was impossible to get in contact with my sales rep. I made many phone calls, even stopped by. No one would call me back. I got the run around for almost two months. Finally after much aggravation the problem was finally fixed. I wasn't compensated in any way. No rental, no return, no trade. Like I said, I was lucky to even get a phone call. I will never buy another vehicle here ever again and I will make sure anyone I know doesn't either.

I'm sure the body shop is great but their salesmen for their Ford Dealership are rude and condescending. When I first arrived at the dealership (that I had an appointment at), it took 15 minutes for me to find someone who could help me. I found Steve the store manager and he sent me to one of his sales reps. The rep was extremely dull and was not knowledgeable about the model car I was interested in. In short, I think he was not thrilled to be working on preowned sale. When I got back from the test drive, we started working numbers. I showed the rep online what the price of the car was going for (about 2K less than advertised) and he didn't want to here it. The price of car was "no hassle pricing." Seems like a hassle to me. Ok fine. I should mention I had my car appraised by 2 different car dealerships before I went to Salem Ford Hyundai. According to other dealerships, my car was worth about 6K. SFH said it was worth 4K. That's a huge difference. I was told "I need to be looking at other vehicle. What about a new 2012 instead?" No, I wanted the 2010 because of the low mileage and my insurance would be a lot lower than on a 2012. The manager said "There's nothing we can do then" and walked away. Seriously?!? You didn't even run my credit. Wow. Talk about bad impressions. I am never shopping there again. I would urge everyone to avoid this dealership like the plague.

Stephanie in their internet department fought tirelessly for a great deal for me, Nancy the saleswoman was polite and transparent, the deal was absolutely great. It was my own issues that kept the deal from going through. I rarely write reviews, especially when I don’t end up buying something, but when a dealership is good people should know because there are too many awful ones out there. this people are very irresponsible, they broke my car screen bezel and now they don't want to be responsible for it , i have called the manager like 10 times and left messages for him and he hasn't even call me back, i then call service department and they told me that they talked to the manager and he hasn't call me back either so now my car screen bezel is broken and cracked... im so upset about this. Our sales representative was Jordan Perry. He showed us the cars, we took one for a test drive as being the same make and model you only need to test one out. He was very curtious to us as well as helpful. He went above and beyond the normal call of a salesman in our book. Salam Ford Hyundai worked very hard as did Jordan on allowing us to trade our trucks for these two vechicles. In the end we got both Chevy Impalas and are very satisfied with them as well as the service we recieved from Jordan Perry and Salem Ford Hyundai. Waste of my time. I was contacted by this dealership stating that they were interested in purchasing my car (through the auto trader trade in market place... BEWARE). I told and emailed them on numerous occasions (no less then 3) stating that I was not interested in anything less that $14K or my car… what I was already offered. Furthermore, I stated that I did not want to go out of my way for anything less than this amount… I guess they just wanted to get me in, thinking they could work me over? in the end, they could not offer me the amount and challenged me that I received the offer for $14K. Why waste my time???

Background: I pre-ordered a high demand vehicle based off msrp. I called most of the local dealerships and Salem gave me the best deal. During the 7 month wait, Ford's msrp on the vehicle went up by $1600. All of the sales staff I was in contact with were great. I really appreciated the time they spent to keep me informed on my order. The finance person was also easy to deal with. The service department were responsive and professional and fixed a problem I had after picking up the vehicle while I waited. They came out to see me in the lobby and explained what they did to resolve the issue... Thank you I appreciated the excellent service. The only rub (not bad per-se, just not 5 stars amazing) which I ran into was management. When hit with the $1600 increase from the contract I signed 7 months prior, I asked if they could do anything to soften the blow. The response I got from management was that they already gave me a deal, no. I checked with others I knew, after the fact, that ordered the same vehicle and a lot (not all) of their dealerships took on a portion of the msrp increase, some took on all. It is what it is, I moved on. 4 out of 5 stars because I feel that they are very good. I can understand their stance on not helping with the msrp increase but it didn't fill me with a sense of extreme loyalty. Also seeing the steep $ increase on future allocations of the same vehicle gave me a sense that I may have just caught them at the right moment. In the future, I'll recommend Salem Ford, but I will also still recommend comparison shopping.

I simply can not describe how great Salem Ford Hyundai really is. I was looking for a new to me vehicle and I went onto the website and saw a used 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT so I called to make sure it was still there and the guy said it was so i went down and met Nancy talked about the SUV she knew all the answers to all my questions and she even answered questions that i never asked i took it for a test drive and fell in love with it. After talking about numbers and this is the first perchance i have ever made with no credit and never had a loan Salem ford Hyundai called every loan company to try and get a loan and succeeded. Nancy went through the entire SUV with me to make sure i knew what everything was and did from how to fold down the seats to how to take the spare tire off. I am extremely satisfied about my experience at this dealership I would defiantly recommend going and checking it out.

Leased a 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo roughly one year ago to date, the salesman was new and seemed inexperienced but the cashier and another person helped me get a great trade in price and lower monthly payments. Over the past year I have used my oil changes and gotten a few recalls done. All were speedy and service was friendly. Service was also ok with aftermarket bolt on upgrades I have done to the lease (intake, exhaust, spark plugs etc.) but had warned me it could void warranty. The only flaws are the interior appearance of the building which is because they will be moving soon/eventually and service is only open till 5pm. Other than that no complaints......

I bought my car here, that experience was fine. Free inspection stickers for the life of the car is also fantastic. I brought my car in the other day for an inspection, I've had a pin hole leak in the high pressure power steering line for a while now which they didn't notice months ago because I passed inspection. Like prior, I cleaned up the hose, covered with electrical tape and placed hose cover back over. This time the inspector said that I needed an intermimit power steering shaft because it was rusted and about to break, he said it was visible. I brought my car to my mechanic who said that wouldn't be a safety issue, just an annoyance usually for the noise it makes. My car makes no noise and that part isn't even visible on a lift... It's buried under the dash and not possible they got access to see it in about 20 minutes. The inspector looked shocked when I showed him the electrical tape and completely missed the power steering return line which was split in half. Like any time I've brought in my car for inspection they say it needs such repairs for an obscene amount of money and each time they are usually wrong with what is wrong. Once again, my car has been repaired for actual needed things and passed inspection elsewhere. At least they admitted to "human errors" they made last time

THIS PLACE IS DIRTY!!!! Let me tell you about my wonderful experience with the service department. Dropped off my car because it was skipping while it shifted I told them It was under the 100k warranty. They confirmed it was under warranty and said if it was a warrantable item it would be fixed no charge they would even waive the diagnostic fee. I told them that it wasn't throwing a code so they could not just plug it in and get a read... so about two hours later I got a phone call "hey we plugged in your car there is nothing wrong with the engine its not throwing a code but your tire is bad that is what is causing the issue" um seriously!!!! a tire causing the engine to skip I am not that stupid... so i made them keep the car until they found a problem.... THEN THEY CHARGED ME FOR ALL THE WORK EVEN THOUGH IT WAS UNDER THE WARRANTY THAT THEY SAID I HAD because they were lying to me! they did not ask me for permission to do the work they just charged me at pick up!! and throughout this whole process the service writer that was handling our car was a DICK we must have called him 15 times with no return calls.... I WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND I WOULD CAUTION ANYONE FROM GOING HERE BECAUSE THEY ARE A BUNCH OF MONEY HUNGRY ASS HOLES THAT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DIAGNOSE UNLESS THE COMPUTER CAN TELL THEM WHATS WRONG! I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS BUT I CANNOT!

We never had such a bad experience like we just had today at Hyundai dealership in salem NH. We went from dealerships to dealerships (Lexus, Toyota, Acura), as always, we got greeted and very warm welcome!!! Today, I went to this Hyundai dealership and found horrible experience. We came in and saw one sale lady (she was helping a couple), she did not even say "Hello" to us. We stood in the show room for almost 1/2 hour, but got no asking nor help...,when you hear this, you might thought the place was busy and they got no time to help...obviously "NO"...there were only 2 couples including us. After beeing there for 1/2 hour, we finally saw another sale person walked by, again, he did not bother to ask or say hello...he just walked a way...we felt like we were invisible to them...we figured that they had need to sell their cars...so we left...I would not recommend this dealership. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

My husband and I researched vehicles online extensively when looking for my new car. Salem Ford Hyundai was the first stop because of their prices and the Hyundai warrenties. They are a couple thousand dollars less than every other Hyundai dealer in NH. After picking out the car we wanted they didn't have our color in stock. They searched around New England and retrieved the car from New York. Since it took longer than expected to come in (just a couple days) Mike and Cesar went out of their way to make up for it. They put in a remote starter and gave us extra oil changes at no charge. Not sure if I'm suppose to tell that part. After looking over the car there were a few minor spots on the paint where it needed to be repainted. The body shop did a beautiful job in repairing it, looks like new. They even went as far as painting a spot that I had gotten after I had the car for a week, knowing it was done after it left the dealership. A big thank you to Mike (manager) for taking such good care of us. He went out of his way to make us happy customers. We will definately be going back to Salem Ford Hyundai when it comes time my husband needs a new vehicle.

I am in the market for a low mile, slightly used Subaru WRX. I understand that what I am looking for can be hard to come by, however I know they are out there. I stumbled upon a 2012 wide body hatchback style WRX online at this dealership with 58 thousand miles on it. I also immediately noticed it said "one owner car". At first I was very excited thinking this could be the car I was looking for. I called about it to set up a test drive and ask a few other question about if anything was modified on it. The salesman I spoke with said everything on the car was stock except a catback exhaust which was installed and it ran great with no issues. As long as the rest of the car was stock and it ran good this could be the car for me. The next day I went to the dealership to see the car. They pulled the car up for me, I opened to door to see how the interior looked and was utterly disgusted... There were sugary drink stains all over the center console ranging from the shift knob all the way back to the center arm rest. There was white paint stains on the interior of the driver side door as well as on the driver side weather tech floor mat. There was loose change in the cup holders. In the back seat there was an empty plastic bottle. I asked how long they had the car for and why it was so dirty. The salesman's reply was "We've only had the car for one or two weeks and as you can see we have a lot of cars on the lot with a lot going on, it will be taken care of if you decide to buy the car". I popped the hood to see inside the engine bay and sure enough theres a catless downpipe installed. I looked under the car and sure enough theres no mufflers nor a resonator. I decided to test drive the car anyways. The engine ran well but I could tell the car was beaten on hard. Breaks needed replacing, suspension was shot. So when I get back to the dealership I ask for the car fax. Not only had the car been on the lot for just over FOUR weeks (as opposed to the one or two I was told) but it was a FOUR owner car instead of the one owner car as it said in the ad. The car had been on the lot for a full month and they hadn't even gone through the car as much as to remove the lose change/empty plastic bottle and clean up the sugary drink stain. The two biggest reasons I went to look at this car were the fact that it was a one owner car and I was told it was completely stock, neither of which came to be true whatsoever. I will NEVER go back to this dealership again and I do not advise anyone else to as well...
