Excelent sales staff, Good quality used cars, was set to buy one but 400.00 set us apart. I bought the same car for the price we wanted to pay else where.
I used ira for the first time for my car inspection. They were friendly and quick, (even washed and vacuumed my car!) and I will use them again. The price was very reasonable too! Thanks guys!
My husband and I have been taking our older Saab and our mini to Gary Blake for a few years now for service and oil changes. They are wonderful. Very nice, very accommodating, super knowledgeable, and honest! When we discovered them a few years ago after a friend's referral we had been to 3 different mechanics who couldn't figure out the problem with our Saab. They had it diagnosed and fixed on the first try. Highly recommended.

These people "bait and switch." We stopped here looking for a car offered online, we're told it was unavailable then shown another car. The woman in the office stated the car we test drove had just arrived but we live local had seen the car there months prior unsold and it was a lie. Test driving the sales person sits in back seat making it awkward to check out a vehicle. These people are deceptive and over charge with fees and vehicles. We purchased two cars elsewhere the very next day.
Went in for a state vehicle inspection. Fast friendly staff and service!
This is a first rate group! Our experience in buying couldn't have been more enjoyable. Jim Dexter and Steve are excellent and attentive. They were very responsive to our questions and needs. We have drove 3 cars to test drive and examined 3 others. Once we picked out the one we liked, they were very fair in pricing our trade, and presenting an offer on the car we wanted to buy. They delivered it to my mechanic for inspection and picked it back up. It could not have been a better experience. The selection of late model high end vehicles is the best in the area. They are not just a Saab dealer. They truly sell Motorcars!
I had previously been going to gary blake saab for years, I have spent thousands of dollars over 7 years. I thought going to a Saab dealer for repairs would be good for my car. I have a saab 9-3 sport sedan and I thought a saab dealer would do the job right. I went to gary blake to get a brand new clutch installed on my car. I purchased all the parts brand new to save money, however 6 months later my clutch fails. Gary Black Saab never replaced my Clutch Slave Cylinder even though I had given them one, I had to pay $600 to fix the clutch a second time. I saw the part the mechanic took out my car and it was the original part, the new aftermarket part I had bought was a different color and moldings. Gary Blake saab through pure laziness or wanting to simply screw me over by forcing me to dish out over $1800 in repairs becuase I had to have my transmission removed twice in 6 months. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!!! They are over priced and the quality of work is POOR.
I was on my way there from Boston to buy a car. By the time I got there...it was already sold about an hour before I arrived. I was really sad and disappointed, but the staff there was very sympathetic and apologetic to me. Especially Stephen. They even offered to pay for my gas which was nice of them to do. Their customer service to an issue is how it should be everywhere. Thanks. P.s. Had it not been for this experience, I would’ve never been blessed with something better the next day. I guess everything does happen for a reason :)
Great sales people and great service team. Rick Muse, he the best.
Buyers be aware!!! These ppl are the most prejudice, racist, bigots I have ever dealt with. I am a substitute teacher and I treat EVERYONE, fairly and equally. I had scheduled an appointment to go see a vehicle I was interested in. I spoke to one of their salesman who booked an appointment for me to test drive a 2010 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I told them at what time I was going to be there and they knew I was an 1hr away and I had them confirm that the car was still available before I headed out. When I got there with my bother, this 100 year old man tells me that there is someone currently test driving the car and if “he” didn’t want the car, THEN, I could take it!!!! After driving 1hr, I was super pissed, but I liked the car and wanted to test drive it. After waiting for 15mins, there is a gentlemen that walks in, introduces him self as the guy who wanted to test drive the vehicle!!!! And the salesman gives him the keys!! NO ONE WAS TEST DRIVING IT!! He made us wait for someone that wasn’t even there!! Just because I was a female, minority, Hispanic!! Shame, shame on you!! Sent from my iPhone
Buy 4 oil changes the 5th oil change is free. They washed my car at no charge!
Always helpful, kind, and honest. Great sales people and great service team!
Inquired about a car online was told by a customer service rep that the car was available in Exeter for sale. When I arrived I was informed that the car had already been sold and was in fact not available. Complete waste of time not a good experience
Worst experience I've ever had they screw you around for days saying they're waiting on the banks but say you'll definitely be approved and then the vehicle you have a down payment on they put back up for sale without your knowledge, apparently they decide how much of a down payment you can afford and do nothing at all to try and make a sale, I would never recommend this place to anybody!
Bought a2016 Chevy truck awsome price low miles and very happy thank you Rick Muse
This is the worst place to buy a car. My car was sent to the stratham location where a " friend" handled the sale.. Not even 7 months owning this vehicle a major problem occurred, my mechanic looked at it said would cist thousands to fix, also had a active recall on this vehicle at the time if the dale that I wasn't aware of and a law suit against BMW, ( i own a mini) who produces mini coops now so called this location ( Exeter) explained the problem with my car was directed to service where the gentleman who answered the phone seem to chuckle, guess he found my situation amusing, totally didn't seem to care I explained it would cist thousands to fix and didn't seem to concerned that this happened 7 months after buying the vehicle.. So I called BMW of stratham to talk to the person who sold me the car, no response and once again didn't care that I was sold a major junk car. So I called the general manager, he also didn't seem to care so I asked who the district manager was , the GM response was he doesn't know? So this GM goes to work daily and doesn't knkw who his boss is?? Please. How can a dealership sell a car knowing the major lawsuits going on agsint them?? Save yourself a headache these guys are crooks.. Font back there vehicles up and also hire salesman's who spent a great deal of time in federal prison...
Sold me a car that needed over $4000 worth of work out of the gate. Lied to me about the brakes which needed to be instantly serviced. My fault for not taking it to a mechanic prior to purchasing, but for the price I paid the car should have gotten me over 1000 miles without dying.
Great experience. I had one minor concern and the staff here went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Would highly recommend this dealership.
Great service by Gary
The young man behind the service counter was extremely friendly and easy to work with - the image of a gentleman. Even though it was the first snowstorm of the season, teatering on the brink of a holiday weekend, they were extremely willing to check out a few more things not originally planned. AND, they were willing to let me use a loaner so I could finish my holiday shopping! Icing on the cake - I had ordered a spare key, quite some time ago and completely forgot about it until we got there - they still had it, the cashier recognized my name and went and got it for me! Customer service that felt like it was customed for me - like an early christmas present on so many levels. Thank you, to all you guys...from the services desk, through the shop personnel, to the bright smile of the cashier. We will be back - Heidi & Garrett Johnson
Good sales prices, not the most knowledgeable staff but if you go in with some research and know what you're looking at / for, you can definitely get a good price on a used car here.
I would like to echo what was previously said. The service I just had was so good I had to pay it forward by at least writing a review. What makes Gary and this service center different is 1) Gary will explain what is going on to you honestly and without any attitude 2) their prices are very reasonable. If you want good mechanics, they need to get paid too. I did a lot of comparison shopping and I have found Gary and IRA to be very fair. Gary/IRA is not convenient (location) for me but I am going to go out of my way to have them service my vehicles. There are trustworthy people/mechanics out there. Gary is one of them.
I went there this evening with the intention of buying one of there used vehicles. The photos they posted online were deceiving, as the vehicle was not in the shape I expected it to be in. I did take it for a test drive and it did drive great, so that was was a plus. After coming back inside we negotiated on price. We could not come to an agreement and I left empty handed. Keep in mind we were only 600 dollars off on price. I find that the most disappointing. Ira a multimillion dollar business would not settle on a 3,000 dollar car. Yikes.

Amazing people!!!! Defiantly would go again again
Had been looking to purchase a Saab 9-3 for a while and ultimately decided on one being offered by Gary Blake Motors. While there were many similar used cars for sale when I was looking, I felt that Gary Blake Motors went a little bit further in their efforts to make sure the car was sale ready. The car I purchased had replaced rotors, and new brakes. My sales person was Stephen James who knows Saab's inside and out, including their quirks. He made the sales process easy, had a binder with the most recent rates available from various banks for financing. He went through the carfax in detail with me. Made sure I had an spare key and key fob, which Gary Blake Motors covered the cost of. He even picked me up from my home in Kittery, ME so I could drive the car home. I didn't spend a lot of money on this car, but I was given a tremendous amount of service. I'm very happy with my decision to purchase my Saab from a former Saab dealer.
My sister made an appointment to see a car at this dealer and asked me to go with her. After leaving the house, she called to let them know she was 45 minutes away, in which the response was that they were waiting for her. After arriving the seller tells my sister that there is another person at that moment looking at the car and if the person didn't buy it he would show the car to her. He made us wait in the front and after 15 minutes we see "the person" walking in to see the car...This seller was very dishonest, letting us drive for an hour, telling us that there was another person looking at the car when there really wasn't. Small things like this tell you alot of a business ethics. If you're reading this review and you're thinking in making business with them...just be careful.
The staff at Gary Blake, both Service and Sales, are top notch, professional, courteous, fair, and always a pleasure to work with. They excel in Customer Service and provide quality workmanship and repairs!
You are not going to find a more honest person to deal with than Gary (Service Manager). I've been going there for years (prior to IRA owning the operation when it was Gary Blake Saab/Motorcars) and Gary has been fantastic. Prices are fair and I've never had an issue with any repairs. Gary knows what customer service is - you get what you pay for in the end. Good, reliable, honest service.
I didn't even buy a car from this dealership but my experience was stellar. Everyone was completely up front with all of the numbers. They were extremely efficient, letting me go out and test drive the car while they appraised my trade. I thought it was great that they let me test drive by myself. It gave me a little more freedom to take a few minutes to really look at the car without having a salesperson breathing over my shoulder. Totally no pressure. Totally up front and honest. Completely efficient. Didn't waste my time. I would absolutely recommend this dealership.
The worst customer service ever! So much I don't know where to start... Bought a used car and they kept it for three days supposedly to clean it and to give the seller time to be back in the office, but three days later the car was still filty. All they did was spray some sort of stinky air freshener for which I had specifically requested not to because of my asthma. They when they found out that I would be financing through my bank and not through them well, that's when all hell broke loose ..they made me wait over 2 hrs twice in one day.. What a nightmare this place is. If they can't make money off you by adding extras or financing through them then most likely you will awfull treatment. I'm not even going to mention names but the financial department was by far the worst.
