Wow. I never thought I would give a car dealership five stars but these guys were great. Johnny was my salesman and he was a nice genuine guy not a phony prick. Talking to him felt natural and real. I wanted to buy a car in Exeter if I could and I'm so glad I went to Foss and that John was my salesman. Even the manager and finance guy were great. I rarely write a review this good but they deserve it.

Got me into a car for double the monthly payment I requested. I was told my car was covered under a bumper to bumper warranty, (which made me feel more inclined to purchase the vehicle) clearly it was not. I’ve had 3 issues with the vehicle so far, and none have been covered under the “bumper to bumper” warranty. I was told I could not get an appointment when I called Dec. 2nd, until Dec 26th. Not helpful, especially considering I had a necessary repair that was a safety issue. Clearly the car had either been sitting a while, or there where pre-existing issues with the vehicle, as it had less than 30,000 miles on the odometer. Have had the car for about 6 months, and was told these were “wear and tear” repairs. No alternatives were offered, i.e. rental car, or compensation for out of pocket payments. So now, I am without a car and broke because of the payments and repairs!

It’s frustrating trying to be a loyal customer here. After getting my first vehicle from them and having nothing but problems, they made things right by stepping up with the second vehicle. Had a great experience. Now that I’m trying to get my third vehicle, I am having the worst experience possible. I feel like I have to be the one to chase them. I am easily willing and able to spend $70,000+ or whatever on a car and I can’t even get a good customer experience. I don’t even care about the price of the vehicle, I just don’t have time to chase people. Worst off the salesman I was assigned was a pushy idiot. I asked to have someone else help me and have yet to get a response. I won’t chase anymore. I was told “good luck finding a vehicle”. I don’t need luck, I’m sure any other dealer would be happy to take my money.

Purchasing experience was poor. Salesman was uncommunicative and then walked back on offer to discuss trade in once my (factory order) new vehicle arrived. Service department is no better. My previous Jeep had a coolant leak that they replaced the radiator on and they returned the Wrangler to me with everything under hood dripping in coolant. They couldn’t be bothered to clean the engine bay after their work was done. Current Grand Cherokee is losing coolant. Brought it in once a year ago, told it pressure tested fine so there was no leak but they did add coolant nonetheless. Fast forward a year and coolant is low again. Same story. Successful pressure test and now “this coolant is known to evaporate”. Bogus. The Grand Cherokee doesn’t have a recovery tank open to atmosphere. Service staff wouldn’t even discuss it and just kept repeating the same line. I’m not thrilled with the quality of FCA products but if you still want one, buy and service it elsewhere.

This is a great dealership! If you want a quick buy. Just pick the Vehicle you want on the lot. Take it for a spin. Go right to financing. Don’t try to negotiate. The price is the price. I DID owe on my trade in. I put $10,000 dollars down. I didn’t get any kind discount, or any kind of incentives.I told the sales person I didn’t want to go over a certain monthly payment. After being tricked into signing paperwork saying finance will workout a deal for me. I didn’t get a deal! The first finance person I spoke with was totally rude. She/he just started by asking how many miles I drive a year and strongly suggested I need a certain warranty! She/he didn’t break down the price of my purchase and trade in. I didn’t see any discount anywhere! I did buy this Vehicle! Not happy though. My wife referred me to buy. They have a “referral program” My wife hasn’t seen a check yet. It has been 2 months! The salesperson was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was purchasing. All of the sales team was friendly.

After hearing good things about Foss, I attempted to purchase a Jeep from them. We were told they would be able to locate the vehicle we wanted. We left a deposit only to find out that the vehicle they located was used with 4,000 miles and wouldn’t show us pictures of the vehicle prior to purchasing it. I attempted to call them numerous times and was not able to reach any management. Eventually, I was told to contact the out of State dealership try to buy from them. I was very eager to trade in a vehicle with Foss and obtain a Ram 1500. After several times of going to the dealership to discuss the deal in person. Making sure that everything was in order to sign for the vehicle the games began. On the day I was supposed to drive the vehicle home, I was told if I came in first thing in the morning I would have an hour wait and then drive off the lot. Instead I waited an hour to be told I need to come back later on during the day....(a day off of work wasted). Then upon the afternoon arrival to sign and drive off the lot the finances and much talked about price drastically changed. I personally would not recommend any person I know to do business with this dealership. There was red flags from the beginning and I ignored people telling me otherwise. I was truthfully disappointed in the way they conduct business. I will bring my business else where.

The night I purchased my car was dark and rainy, so I didn’t notice until I got home that there’s a fairly good sized crack in the bumper/ cracks in the plastic grill of my car, I asked right away if there was anything that could be done and they said no and told me to get paint for the scratches. Unfortunately it looks like I’d need to replace the bumper entirely if I wanted to fix it.

Was pleasantly surprised to have had a wonderful experience buying our dream vehicle! The salesperson, Olivia, was awesome, she even knew about the vehicles moreso than other salespeople on other Jeep lots. We were able to locate and transfer the PERFECT Jeep and save big money on it at the same time! It was great having a salesperson allowed to do her job (and not constantly having to “ask management” for every little thing). Plus they actually had vehicles in the showroom, which oddly is a rare occurrence, at least at several other Jeep/FCA dealers we visited. Our vehicle was ready for delivery when promised, with the terms we agreed on. The business manager was also very nice and explained things well. Neither of us had leased before, so we were a little nervous, but he explained things well and made us feel comfortable. Even though this dealer is a considerable distance from us, we will be bringing the Jeep back for its maintenance at this dealer as they are much nicer than some of the closer ones. I would recommend stopping here, and if they don’t have your dream Jeep on the lot, tell them what you want and they will help you get it!! We LOVE our new Bikini (teal) blue 2Door Soft Top!!!!

Brought a 2017 Jeep there that I purchased far away in MA. I took it here for headlight warranty as the metal lid in the headlight unit wasn't functioning. It is/was a long story but I even had a write up from where i bought the car that said this was the issue, but they couldn't do the warranty work as it was a Lexus. Foss told me the wouldn't replace unit without doing the bulbs first which aren't under warranty and wanted $350. It was BLATANTLY obvious it wasn't a bulb, as the bulbs worked just one unit wouldn't go into high beam (the metal eye lid thing wouldn't lower). Needless to say they were very unhelpful and just wanted to swindle $350 from me. Terrible service.

After my Chrysler 300 gave me 219,316 dependable miles, it was time for a change. I met with Jorge Cardenas who listened to my wishes and then offered me a used Chrysler 200 with a good price and equipment. I was able to purchase through Jorge with cash a 2014 auto with less than 29,000 miles. When the fan on the a/c was not working after 3 days, I brought the auto back and Jorge was able to have it repaired within a few hours. Very impressive salesman and service department.
