I contacted the dealership looking to buy a car, using my own lender I had setup beforehand. The dealer was willing to work with me with no problems. They didn't try to push me to any of their lenders, just worked with mine. We were able to work out a deal that worked for me, and I appreciate that.
First off, we walked in and I felt so completely uncomfortable... everyone looked up but nobody was too eager to help us. Secondly the salesman asks us why we are there rather than shopping in our own town hmmmm you would think you would be a little more welcoming. Next, i told steve my 2 must haves in a vehicle. He drives up a chevy traverse which is exactly what i was looking for and comes in and tells us he pulled it up, end of sentence, doesnt say okay why dont you go try it out, nothing. But he does tell me that it is in okay shape.... ummmm come again? I thought maybe he is talking about my car but no he denied that.... so after the painful forced conversation we go outside and i said so this has the remote start right? Well, no you would have to get a vehicle that is $10,000 more for that, and that is not in your price range.... which is not true but, moving on. We take the car for a drive and think about trying a gmc acadia too. Steve acts bothered by this and completely unmotivated. We tell him nevermind we will go in and start talking prices. We told him first thing we could afford 400 per month that is it bottom line and 1,000 down. He comes back with 6,000 down and 550 per month! What?! Biggest waste of our time with and infant and toddler i will NEVER reccomend this dealership to anyone!

I had to go to the dealer to replace my airbags. I know shocking. I had some other work done and they gave me a great rental SV. Work got done and I was happy.
I rarely rate businesses, but I had to with Dover. I have had my trucks serviced in many other dealers, but none have been as professional as these guys. Were helpful, and went beyond my expectations (Elizabeth in Service Department, awesome). Glad to see there are businesses that treat their customers like customers and not just numbers. Although I am not 100% convinced that the reason my car had to be repaired was not the fault of the original machanic that did the oil change, I was beyond pleased with the response I got. They very quickly got the car towed to the shop, and got me in a very nice loaner car. They were accessable, communicative and charged me nothing. Devon was the best!

This is my 5th Silverado and the 1st time a dealer took the time to actually get exactly what I was looking for. Shawn found my truck in another state and called me the next day. Usually the best deal is on the lot. These guys didn't charge me a fee or anything. I came in to look at it and it was already inspected and cleaned when I came in. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. It was the best experience I've had in 20 years!

We knew what we wanted for a truck and the equipment, Z71 Colorado with Bose & Navigation in black. Dover Chevrolet was a no nonsense first quote no back and forth experience and the only dealership of five who actually went through all the rebates (and found one 3 said were not applicable, Rochester never called back). Wally our sales representative was on the job from start to finish giving my son his first taste of how buying a vehicle should be. Appointment this week for oil change and tire rotation. Asked them to look at the 1.5" lean to drivers side. Lean is very noticeable. Fourth Chevy Silverado, first one with the lean. Was told I was not the first to ask about this. No technical bulletins about this issue but they will continue to research and contact me when an answer is found.

I must say I was disappointed with my dealings with this company. I had been emailing back and forth for a sales position. I live in Connecticut so I was trying to make as many interview appointments as possible. I went to several interviews prior in the day wearing what I was wearing (jean shorts and a T-shirt with kittens flying through space). Everyone at my previous appointments had laughed about the shirt and I told each of them that it was my way of showing that I’m looking for a job that will make me happy and I can have fun at. They all got the message and viewed it as my sense of humor. I also explained to each of them that I would need to buy new clothes as I don’t have anything appropriate for that position as of yet. Well Dover Chevy judged a book by its cover and refused to even interview me. In fact the general manager wouldn’t even come out to say it to my face. They gave up an opportunity to have a very loyal Chevy guy in their store because of how I appeared. Pretty shameful. I had hoped driving 3+ hours up there was enough to prove that I was serious. It’s really a shame. So I guess if you want to deal with stuck up robots with no personality go to Dover Chevy.

I brought my car in to get new key fobs and be repainted. This place had my car for over a week and still managed to give me faulty key fobs as they did not check them before giving them back to me. Only to have me come in again and be rude to me wondering why I could not tell the difference between new and old key fobs that look the exact same. Every time a worker named Chris who lacks any sort of customer service skill has "helped" me and been incredibly rude. I would recommend going to any dealer but this one as they clearly take no care in what they do.

From the initial contact with Cassie patiently working to coordinate an appointment for me, to meeting Steven G who was extremely knowledgeable with the HD truck line. Taking the time to go over purchase options we ended up working out a phenomenal deal on my new 2018 Silverado 2500HD truck. Overall great experience with the entire staff I interacted with. If I could give them 0 stars I certainly would! What a salesman! What an un-personable salesman. You surely won’t get far in life Steve Givens with that mindset of yours. We drove 45 minutes to go there specifically to purchase a brand new equinox that they had online as one price. There was NOTHING online about any catch. Maybe on his end there was, but on the consumers side there was not! Before we even got in the car to test drive it, we wanted to leave because his demeanor was so impersonal it made it awkward and uncomfortable! We stayed and test drove and then we tried talking numbers and he kept just talking MSRP which everyone knows isn’t the list price! So finally we sat down and he went over and had the girls come up with a price that was $2000 over the internet price and price the man spoke of last night on the phone. Steve’s reply to the discrepancy was, “it’s not uncommon for it to have conditions to be met. It’s how we get people through the door,” he replied after I inquired about the man who stated the price to me last night. So you’re saying you LIE to your potential customers to get them through your door. Well at this point, I stood up and thanked him for his time and my husband and I started walking out. He quickly pushed his chair back and said, “oh come on!” in a frustrated and angered tone of disbelief. I’m sorry but your personality lost us before we even went on the road test let alone you basically saying you’re a bunch of coniving salesman who lie just to get people there and you think it’s okay! Needless to say, my heart was set on an equinox, but that night, I drove home with a RAV4 from the Toyota dealership down the road! They were awesome! It was so late we hadn’t had dinner yet and they even made us turkey sandwiches while we were waiting.

Just purchased a new truck from them. And the experience was both good and bad. I feel Dave (the manager) took the time to work with me and get me into a truck I wanted. I do appreciate his efforts to find a financial institution that isn’t trying to rob people with perfect credit scores, thereby getting me a good interest rate (well good as possible these days unfortunately). But Dave is basically where things end. (Note: I won’t use names here, Dave can correct his own people I don’t need to publicly name them) I’ve purchased multiple new vehicles from Dover Honda and really had no good feeling walking into Dover Chevy because of the many poor experiences there at Dover Honda. Especially after being met by a rude employee outside. The salesman I was paired with gave off the vibe I was bothering him to walk around and ask questions about the trucks, there were some other things. Like leaving my credit application on your desk unattended, social and all available for anyone walking by. It really sealed the deal for me when you were actually going to let me drive off in a new truck covered in pollen, dirt all over the inside and streaks everywhere. Even when you finally had it cleaned and sprayed it still...... there is a lot of training that needs to take place it seems. For example all those shoe scuffs on the inside of the door can be removed with 409 and those blue mechanics whipes. That’s how I got them off myself when I got home. It really isn’t that hard. Attention to detail may be lacking? But at that point I just needed to play nice and walk away. Precursor for what I’m to expect from the service department later on? I already know to expect no more then absolutely nothing from Dover Honda. So I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I hope the salesman I had also passed on the info I gave him about the trucks in his lot. The woman who answers phones is also unprofessional, replying with yeps, mmmhmms or just switching you over without saying anything. This is an ongoing issue not just today. To conclude Dover Chevy has Dave alone to thank for my continued business. I hope I’m not going to regret this. Four brand new vehicles so far. How many more will I get throughout the years. And I suppose more importantly where?

Will never go back! Going there at least a year & a half, bought my car there. Yesterday I complained my driver's side wiper cover was missing (they put new wipers last time I was in), Nope they didn't do it. Then they took Lots of photos of my car before servicing, I asked why, said to protect themselves, VERY INSULTING, will not even buy another car there.
Brought my truck in for a power steering fluid leak. They got to it early than I expected and the repair was cheaper than I was expecting.
I have looked everywhere for a new dealership to service my new car. I bought it up in Laconia, but am sick of spending HOURS waiting for them to be done when I made every single appt for 0730. I was there until almost 0930 again last week. Dover point Chev comes highly recommended.

Dover Chevrolet does an amazing job! My salesmen was Shawn Turner and he went above and beyond to not only get me into my beautiful 2014 Ford Focus, but to make us feel comfortable throughout the entire process (he even filled the gas tank for us!) Brian, who helped us with financials, did a fantastic job getting me a loan (as a first time buyer, that's always a challenge) and explaining everything to me clearly as far as charges, refinancing, and such went (No surprises, no gimmicks, no tricks). My trade in value was far beyond what any other dealership offered me as well. All over great experience, will be going back again!

Was offered way to little for trade. Sales Manager told me disability is not an income that can count towards a loan.Waited over three hours for sales manager to run numbers. All the vehicles are locked and you can only look at them with a sales person directly behind you. Never Going back not even for the free oil change they offer if you rate them on this site.

I do want to thank you for the response back to my not impressed experience while being helped by your employee billy which works along side with adam. And unfortunately my identity was withheld for any scrutiny i would have to face for making a complaint against a employee who brought his extra curricular activities to his work place. And wether he has or may not have worked with another customer under the influence, it should be addressed. And as far as striving to achieve the best customer experience, im sure that is your main focus. But it was also noticed in my response back that you said this employee is not currently working there, but as of yesterday this employee was in fact working. I did contact the corporate office and hopefully this will be resolved. No need for any further responses thank you.
