I had a fantastic experience at Dan O'Brien Kia. I went in looking for a new Kia Sportage. I was lucky enough to get Salesman Eric. He made the experience wonderful, was patient, and really made sure I was informed about the car and the decision I was making. He took the time to show me everything in the car and explain to me how the car worked on my test drive. When it came time for the negotiations, I was very firm on a price. Eric did a great job working with his team to get a price that I could agree on. I was very happy with the service and even more happy that I got to walk out that day with a brand new Sportage. In addition to this, I needed to bring my new vehicle in to get a new hitch put on. Eric helped secure a rental car for me so that it was free of charge. While I had the rental car, an unexpected event happened outside of my control with the rental car. Dan O'Brien Kia went above in beyond in this situation and took care of everything for me so that I did not have to worry. I was very appreciative of their support and the way they handled the situation. It certainly makes me want to go back and I would refer them to my friends and family. I really appreciate the service I received and how Eric continues to check-in to make sure I am enjoying my vehicle. I am happy I chose to buy my vehicle with such a supportive company.

I have no idea how the sales department works, but the SERVICE DEPARTMENT, especially Erik and Carol (3rd day on the job) were awesome. They were incredibly accommodating even though it was very busy, and they were professional and friendly dealing with me and the other customers waiting in the Customer lounge with me. The Technicians were able to detect and fix a problem that Quirk Kia was not able to find or fix on two different occasions. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

My mother has received the worse possible service from this locations Service center. There had been no follow up on the status of the repair. Countless calls have been made to get an update and we have been told that we will get a call back which we have never received. This has by far the worst experience we have ever received from a dealership. We had hoped that due to the new ownership we would have received better service, but that is not at all correct.

We give Dan O'Brien Kia five stars because from the time we drove onto their lot got out of our car they're salesman Corey did not look at us more importantly look down at my son for the way he was dressed, mind you he always wears his overalls everywhere so yeah he stand out in the crowd he looks much different than most all people that being said Cory was honestly amazing he answered the questions we have what questions we ask if he didn't know answers to he went and got help to get those answers and never once through this whole process did he push or miss treat my son or myself. my son ended up walking out of there with a 2020 Kia Soul. BUYERS BEWARE!!! I have purchased one car from this place and let me tell you, it will be the last time I buy anything from these people. The vibe in the dealership was uncomfortable and it felt like you were being judged the whole time. The sales managers are laughable as is the owner. They have no conscious nor do they care about ripping people off or taking advantage of anyone that walks through there. They will do anything for a sale and I literally mean anything. They let me leave the dealership un-financed (without my knowledge) for almost 3 weeks. I called them furious as to why nobody cared to tell me and they for some reason couldn’t come up with any answers. Thankfully the finance manager was able to get everything fixed that day. But I was still irritated by the fact that I had to go back to that awful place to resign papers and also had to find the time to fix my registration. The worst part is, I’m not the only person this has happened to. Also that “free lifetime warranty” is not at all free, you end up paying another 5k on top of what you’re already paying, it’s a rip off and not worth the money. But the one good thing and only good thing I will say is that my salesmen Pat B was extremely kind and was by far the best part of my experience. He made sure I left there happy with my vehicle and made sure I know my way around the features it has. Besides that, AWFUL DEALERSHIP filled with awful scummy people.

I found both sales manager and finance to be arrogant and insensitive. Have never had such poor service. Told I needed breaks and brought it to my mechanic. Still had 6 months worth of wear on the brakes. Spare key $100.00 cheaper at Quirk Kia. Sit for over an hour just for an oil change. Buyer beware. No spare tire, etc. Etc....

Such a great experience buying a new 2019 Kia Soul. Neither my wife or I have ever had anything brand new. From the time we walked in a 9 for our appointment Nate was on top of things. He asked what we were looking to do how much we wanted to spend. We had already done a over the phone application with Lynda who also was great if not for her talking us to at least doing a quick application we might not have driven home yesterday with a new kia. I told the wife to go ahead do the application we had nothing to lose and would no doubt get a NO well that did not happen Lynda no sooner hung up and was going to get back to us the phone rang and we got a yes. So she said at that time she was looking at the special for the Soul. Nate had all this information and with in 15 min he brought one around for us, took us for a test drive. We still can not get over all the safety features it has and my wife loves how easy it is to get in and out of all the room is just great for her. All together we were in and out with in an hour with a brand new car with full tank of gas. Payments are with in our means so there will be no stressing over that trade in, 0 down never ever expected to own anything brand new. We get back home and there is a message on the phone. Nate called us back financing was lowered need us to resign papers, but he was bringing them down to us. I would go back here again and again. The ONLY reason I am giving this place any stars. Is for Two employees. And I can't even remember their names. This place, is by far the WORST dealership I have ever been to. Let's start with, the fact when you post an advertisement make sure you actually follow through with it. Not have subliminal messages, that aren't even on the advertisement. Second, let's talk about how when the appraisal process started.. They lost the keys to our car. They could not find our keys for 3 HOURS. And in that time frame, not a single person came up to us and tell us they lost said keys. Besides the employee I am giving the stars to. Also, as we are waiting for legit every employee to find our keys. I try talking to one of the sales managers about the car we were interested in, thinking Hey. If we can come to an agreement you can keep those keys. The sales manager looks at me and goes "yea theirs nothing we can do" WHILE NO ONE HAS STILL NOT TOLD US THEY LOST OUR KEYS. After a solid 3 Hours of waiting. They find our keys. A brand new employee took our keys off the sales managers desk and put them in as the trade in keys to a deal they were working. And not only that.. Gave our house keys to the customer they were working with. Oh and it gets even better. Before I decided to leave, after wasting hours of our day. One of the sales managers came over and said he would work on the deal, to make up for them losing our keys. 30 minutes go by and we get a call.. And come at us with $120 OVER the monthly payment we were adamant on. Claiming it was an "Incredible" deal. This place is a joke. Do not do business with them. I have been in the car business for 2 years, and will be telling everyone I know to avoid that place like the plague. Again thank you to the sales guy who actually owned up to the fact they lost our keys.

Shortly after I visited there website to look at there inventory any try there online payment estimates. The following Monday I received a call from one of there friendly sale associates asking if I would like to come in and test drive a car. We sat down to discuss what I was looking for in a car shortly after test drive a few of the different models when I finally decided on the Sportage L.X. and in no time was on my way home in my new car. My husband and I had been searching for the new Kia Telluride in the Dark Moss, I saw this dealership had one in stock so we drove straight there after leaving another dealership. Eric greeted me at the door while my husband roamed the lot looking for the car, this was at almost 8 pm right before the dealerships close time. Eric offered to let us test drive the Telluride, something the other dealership did not offer us. We knew we were buying this car and we were dead set on that specific color, (after seeing it in person we were disappointed), lucky for us Eric showed us a light gray which I absolutely love! Long story short we left the dealership at almost midnight, with TWO cars! Eric helped setup our phones, showed us how to work the many, many features and not once did he or anyone else rush us. Definitely worth the 40 minute drive to Concord!

Dan O’Brien is the most narcissistic individual I have ever met. Terrible sales experience, I will never do business or recommend doing business with any of his associates again. We just started a new company ROOTZ Natural Hair Shop LLC,, we’re in the process of moving, and then our cars brakes go, and then the axle brakes. With our funds low and our credit not that good we didn’t know what we are going to do. I went to Dan O’Brien Kia in Concord New Hampshire on Manchester Street truthfully just to keep my word since I already scheduled an appointment, but feeling as if I wasn’t going to get a car. From the moment I walk through the doors I was greeted pleasantly, Every associate that crossed my path gave me eye contact and addressed me. And then there was Cory! Cory accommodated all my needs while training someone at the same time I didn’t feel rushed or feel like he was being more of a salesman justwanting to make a sale versus actually seeing who I am and what car would actually fit me! Cory was so down to earth and just a real person I didn’t feel judged because of the color of my skin he made me feel very welcomed! Worst service of my life! I bought my first car there a couple years ago and had a great experience. I went in to trade my vehicle for a newer model and FIRST, I had someone cosign for me on the car. After the car was purchased AND registered in my name, they then proceeded to tell me that my name has been completely taken off of the car but I can still drive it??? Their exact words "try again with getting your name on the car next year". SECOND, I was told it was a trade in. Come to find out they never contacted the bank, lied to me about it being traded it and made it so I now have TWO car payments and it has to get repossessed. AND THIRD, I had a downpayment of $700 which I was given a month to give them. I paid it off and got a receipt that it was paid for. THE VERY NEXT DAY, they tried taking $700 out of my bank account making me so negative!! Even when it was already paid! Worst and most stressful experience of my life. I wanted a newer better car for my family and in the end I got taken advantage of and screwed over. If I could give zero stars I would. Don't go there.

All in all not bad experience. Bought a KIA with about 9K miles on it using Truecar. The prices on Truecar were different than the lot prices so we were able to work out a deal. It would have been ideal if the price matched the certified price through Truecar but again I was able to work out a reasonable deal. Had some cosmetic damage i didnt notice underneath the car from previous owner that manifested itself in the plastic fendor well coming loose on the interstate. DOK fixed the issue without any fuss when i brought the car in a few weeks after purchasing it. I was thankful for that.

So I recently purchased a 2019 Kia Soul, my situation was complicated because I owed a lot on my trade in and I had really no money down and no co-signer. So, originally they said $1,000 down with a payment of $499 the payments on my trade in were $330 so that was already so much higher of a payment. So we agreed that I would have to break up my downpayment into multiple payments. So finally we are ending the day from 4pm to 8pm and about to sign the papers then all of a sudden that was not an ok agreement so they changed it to $300 down and $525 a month this didn’t make me happy but I agreed anyway and said that the $300 would be post dated to this Friday 5/31/19. Ok sounds great everything is fine I sign the papers and drive off with my new car. Well yesterday 5/29/19 they put the $300 check through! So my account goes negative $173! Then I was hit with a $35 fee. So I had to go there yesterday anyway to get my sticker and a “gift certificate” I “won” (it’s costs $29.95 one time fee to use it). So I talk to Pat and he said within 24 hours they will straighten it all out and cover my over draft. I chatted with someone on their website last night and they said someone would email me right away! So I called today because I didn’t hear anything and my account is still negative, they said they would call me back within a half hour.... it’s been 4 hours no call. I tried contacting them through their text thing on their website still nothing. I had a couple friends that were thinking about buying cars soon and I will not be telling them to go here. The only business I will ever do with this company is the promised 1 year of free maintenance and my inspection stickers. I will not be trading my car back in with them next year, it is disappointing and frustrating. Although I like the vehicle I don’t like the monthly payments, the pressure to buy it and then them cashing a check 3 days early and leaving me and my 1 year old with a negative balance.

This place if awful. No one is responsible and there is no communication. I got a car from them a week ago and its still sitting in their lot. They said they are working on loan and all. But seems like all they do is talk with you on call and they don't work on it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Finance department people are so rude cause I called them to check on my car status. And Sales person and Finance Guy Shawn I was working with never responds E-mail nor call. Please find better place to buy car than "Dan O'Brien Kia"

Honestly, this is a 'classic' dealership where you get bullied into buying something. It is the most annoying thing when you are kept there for hours because they think if you leave they've lost the sale. News flash, if you treat me like a person and not like a hostage, I would come back. And if you didn't try to guilt me into saying yes or signing some stupid piece of paper to try to make me feel that I am held to some contract of hand written notes than I would feel like a person. I am one of the few who dug my heals in was able to escape and I will not return because I'm afraid they'd tigh me to a chair next time and pull my fingernails out to make me agree to buy. The last dealership I went too where I bought a brand new car wished me well when I said I was going to test drive others of it's kind and you know what? I returned and bought from them. Serious sales tactics and classic trying to take advantage of people. I wouldn't buy from them even if it was my dream car. Find a dealership that doesn't hold you hostage and you'll be much better off.

I get a call “your pre-approved” so I say to myself it can’t hurt, I go in and I am very skeptical, thinking ok going to go through all the paperwork test drive and fall in love with the truck just to be handed an outrageous down payment and monthly bill. BOY was I WRONG. Devon Roy showed me a very nice Truck and they worked very hard to get me in that truck with a comfortable payment. Felt rushed, was the last day of the month for the deal but still felt rushed. Was buying a 2018 used forte, next day when they brought the car up front it only had a 1/4 tank of gas. Any vehicle I ever got from a dealer was sold with a full tank. So they went and filled it. Then I noticed no oil change sticker in window, so they went and got one and put it on the window. And then when they gave us the keys (2018) they only gave us one. Who does that???? They said they only got one. All these could of been done before hand for a better experience. Then one of the managers I talked to about a key said he would look into it at his cost..... Never heard from him.. not impressed.

Stopped in to enter a contest. Got the heavy push to buy a new car even though we told both sales people we were just starting to look for a new car. It took us about an hour to get out of there. We were also told we had to be present at the drawing to win. When we arrived home there was already 2 messages on our machine from them. In the next two days there were many more calls from them. At times a call was followed by another one within 5 minutes. My wife liked their commercials, it was one of the main reasons besides the contest we stopped in. Moral of story, nothing is as simple as just signing up for a contest.
