Theey harassed me every single day until I finally decided to have a conversation with this person via text. I asked numerous questions, and got numerous promises. I got promised that I did not need a down payment, and that my loan was all set and approved, I just needed to come down and sign. I was very hesitant, so I continued to dig deeper and I was reassured each time it was a done deal, I just needed to come down there. Working in the city, and not having a car- I took the train from Boston to Newburyport and then they so desperately wanted my business that they picked me up at the train station and drove me over to the dealership- this was 730 at night on a Wednesday I'll add. They put in an application again when I thought they already did my application? That's where I knew this was bulmshit. I got promised that I could have any car under 25,000- after they did a loan and ran my credit once again, they told me I could only have a Kia Soul and a Kia Soul only. Then that's where the lies started coming.... so you can get a Kia Soul but we need a down payment what can you pay? Excuse me?!!? I told you I was in no position for a down payment and I was promised before I got there it was absolutely not needed. I told them I did not have anything available at the moment, so here we are in the middle of the deaalership they are harassing me to call my dad, my mom, my friends at 9 at night at this point to ask them for a down payment???!!? "Can your dad give you his credit card over the phone???" Excuse me- let me call my dad on a work night and tell him I need a $2,000 payment out of no where after being lied and lied to. I'm sitting there and I see everyone over at the desk crowded talking, knowing something was weird, I felt so uncomfortable and it was 930 at this point and still just sitting there- the train to go back into the city was no longer running and I was an hour from where I had to be with zero ride home. I finally told them let's just please forget this, I don't like the soul, and this is uncomfortable, you're asking me for money I don't have, and I need to get home. Two minutes later- oh good news!!!! We got you approved! at this point I still said no it's okay, this was alll too much. I was in there crying and they were like why are you being like this we just got you approved? Are you kidding I took an hour train ride after working all day, to be completely lied to and embarrassed- I felt absolutely bullied by everyone in there to sign this contract (I was the only person in there besides the workers because it was closed) I was absolutely bullied and had no way home, I felt so cornered and had no choice. I signed papers, had zero idea what I was signing, and walked outside to get in this car I didn't want to just get home. I was so emotionally drained and upset and not one person cared. I go outside to the car, all scratches and dents and they tell me oh well, we can do touch up paint. Touch up paint??? On this "brand new" car I just forced to finance for over 500$ a month with a 21% interest rate. They agreed to "put it in the shop" later. I just wanted to get so far away I left. The next day I got over 20 calls while I was at work, text after text, harassing me for a down payment, to now send in documents, pay stubs, residency, something from my old car loan. All of sudden this is all happening. Call after call after call. There was no financing. They never had me financed. They lied to get me to sign paperwork because I was about to leave, funny how I got approved 2 minutes after I said forget it.they would text me Non stop and I told them I was at work, and then they would proceed to say oh hey it's lunchtime send us our stuff. I asked them to leave me alone I am at work. Call after call after call for days and days. 20+ times a day, threatening texts, Today, I got a call from them, they someone were calling me from my friends number- it said my friend Alyssa was calling and it was them on the other line!!!! They hacked her number!!!!!I am being harassed and threatened and now into my private life!!

I was up there today because a couple of weeks ago and my boyfriend James McComiskey filled a online application out and they called him not 20 minutes later and he told them that if i can not be approved to take the new car home that day then let him know that it won't work the lady that takes care of all online applications said she talked to a finance manager and the finance manger told her to tell my boyfriend to come on down that he could get him in a brand new car so we went up there and the first offer was 450 a month and 45 days to make his first payment. Then the salesman came back and said they couldn't do it so they said 600 a month with the 45 day before his first payment then the salesman came back again and said they couldn't do that either that he had to have a cosigner after three hours of being there it all looked good they was going to offer my boyfriend 12,000 for his car on trade the 600 payment without interest was 50,000 on a 25,000 dollar car cause he said he couldn't tell me the interst yetso it would have been alot more than 50,000 with the interset for a 25,000 car it all boils down to is they lie to get you to come there and make you feel like you're worthless when you leave there so in the end he didn't get a new car all he got was the run around for 3 hours

I baught a lemon car from concord there were issues i come to north hampton to get car fix and instead i get out of it end up buying the same car little of upgrade sales person was amazing they baught the car ended up with a car with no issues and alot better for me with safety features while driving to work and traveling. So I went 4 weeks with out a car. Tried many different places and many told me they couldn't help out or said yeah we can help but never hear back. So figured I'd call Dan O Brien. Spoke to a salesperson Ian Bogardus he was fantastic with in 20 minutes over the phone he got me approved for a 2019 Kia Forte. Even with bad credit and no money down just a trade in. Then even drove the new car to me in Hampton Beach NH from Concord to finalize the deal. As far as im concerned he went above and beyond. I highly recommend people who need a car to go through Dan O Brien. Ask for Ian Bogardus

It was a great experience! Ashley Senter, my sales consultant, was very helpful, and knowledgeable about my car, eventhough I bought a car that was not a KIA. I am not fond of car shopping, with all the sales pressue. Ashley and Ben worked hard to get me a great deal, without the high pressure, and they even had me laughing! Yesterday Saturday may 4th my fiancé and I had a 10 o’clock appointment with Lynda unfortunately Patrick and I were VERY LATE like 45 minutes late and couldn’t meet with Lynda so we had the pleasure of being greeted right in the lot by tucker who is new to the Kia family he was great ! He asked what we were looking for .. my self wanting something fuel sufficient and my fiancé wanting something big and roomy .. 99% of the time the two don’t go hand and hand however tucker knew exactly were to take us .. he introduced us to the Kia Soul at first we were hesitant.. it being the Hampster car And all lol .. however when we test drove it tucker knew it all ! He showed us all the gizmos and gadgets .. he explained all the safety features and even knew a little bit of Kia history which shocked both my fiancé and I . During our conversation with tucker we asked how he like working with Kia and he spoke very highly of the owner and his employees. You could tell he genuinely likes what he does . After tucker won us over with the Kia Soul it was time to talk finances .. the part everyone dreads ! When he first came to us with quotes we weren’t pleased as it really wasn’t in our budget and we had already fell in love with the car we explained to tucker that unfortunately it wouldn’t work for us so we would have to pass he told us to sit tight .. he went to his supervisor and came back with new lower number BUT STILL NOT IN OUR BUDGET ! It was depressing and frustrating but we accepted it because our credits not all there and that’s out of there controll . and we explained to tucker we just couldn’t do it . He went back to his supervisor and they came back to us together and worked out a budget plan with us they went back to the office worked with the bank and owner and came back to us a 3rd and final time . With a plan that was in our budget and a deposit we could work with once tucker and his supervisor got us numbers that could work within our budget .. we met with the paperwork man who Was also new to the Kia family from start to finish everyone was kind and professional

I just want to thank Kyle Fitzsimmons and Ben Gerboth for helping my wife and I get into a Kia Telluride. Two days before walking into Dan O'Brien I had a hand shake deal for a Telluride at a different dealership. After agreeing on terms, the salesman came back and attempted to change the terms. The next day I contacted Dan O'Brien and was completely honest with my experience at the other dealership. I spoke to Ben before even driving up and from the moment we talked to the moment we bought the car he was upfront and answered every question we had.
