While Melissa was extremely helpful and professional, the salesperson who prepared the paperwork for me was a total opposite. The dealership will not appraise your trade-in in a fair way, and will give you a "joke" value for your car just to make a profit. They lowered the price of the car for about $ 300.00 just two days after I left their dealership refusing their $ 390.00 trade-in offer for BMW 325i 2003 in relatively good shape. Will shop somewhere else...

Because an accident left my leased Passat totaled I needed to replace my vehicle. In steps sales rep Melissa Ronkin who faced a fierce wind while opening the front door for me upon my arrival. The high winds had also left branches in the roadway which she helped navigate thru as she was describing the lots of features and answering any questions I had. Dan in finance was great as well helping to get to an affordable rate and payment based on my credit score. Overall another great experince at Autofair. Never purchased anything here but went to look at a used car there and stood around for a bit and nobody came out. It wasn't raining or dark or cold or too hot. Met with Ken Perron and it was great working with him. He knew where I needed to be as far as price and definitely helped to work it out. I'm in the car that I wanted and it worked out great financially. He even searched for my spare key and found it six weeks after I bought the car. I had a small issue with my passenger mirror and they brought me in immediately and fixed it. I'd recommend Ken and auto fair to anyone.

First time ever purchase of a new vehicle. Worst experience. Steer clear of this dealership. My bad for pulling in and "impulse buying". Dealership lowballed on trade, even though I agreed to a certain price. Should have walked out then. Then I sat down with the "finance" manager. Lots of fees just for the dealerships profit. Was charged $589.00 'DEALER PROCESSING " FEE. When I questioned it, he said it was for "advertising". Found out afterwards that most dealerships even other VOLKSWAGEN dealerships charge $299.00 -the only fee. Again should have walked out. Felt brow beaten. Surprisingly the salesman is no longer there. Anyone looking for a used VW ? Would have given zero stars but it wouldn't publish.

If I could give the service department zero stars I would. After dropping off my car at the dealer at 9 am to check my engine light for a minor EVAP leak it took them 5 hours to even touch my car and only after having called 3 times. One of which I left a voicemail requesting a call back. After not receiving a call for an hour and a half I called again only to find out they haven’t even run the simple 20 minute test to figure out what the issue was. After speaking to the manager I found not even the slightest amount of concern to them. This service department is lazy, untrustworthy and not worth the time to even drive to the place.

Worst car buying experience I've ever had. Complete and total lack of preparation and follow up from the sales and finance departments. Multiple phone calls on my part to follow up on failed follow up on their part to finalize the process. It was three weeks after I took delivery of the car before I finally received my paper work. When I did it came from someone's personal email with additional papers that included my social security number. In contrast, the parts department was helpful and followed up as promised. Total opposite of the ineptitude repeatedly demonstrated by sales.

I bought a new car from here, and loved the car and the service. Bob Smith in particular was really easy to make the purchase with, as he didn’t push anything and just got me what I wanted. The manager Steve is smooth, and made himself easily available if there were any problems (there weren’t any). In terms of price, in my experience they beat the local competitors in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, which was a big deciding factor. Best price + included extras standard really sold it for us.

Then my Fiance was able to get a lease buyout and we drove off the lot with 2 Great New Cars! Very satisfied with the personal service we received. Very honest service department. I went there for my VW passat sunroof not closing issue. They didn't have parts for it today but told me the truth about how to override expensive repairs by holding the door before the sensor detection. Great service and very helpful shuttle ride home during work hrs. I could be back for more business from them...

There was no pressure to buy and all my questions were answered with respect. My first visit I went there with no intentions of buying just doing research, again there was no pressure to purchase a car etc. That was very important to me as Peter's Honda staff lost a sale from me due to attitude and disrespect. A loyal Volkswagen owner, I actually visited 3 other Volkswagen dealerships before driving a 2018 Tiguan off the lot. The personal attention given me by Melissa Ronkin was nothing short of amazing; exceeding my expectations at every turn. Any question that me or my wife had after we got the Tiguan home, was quickly answered by Her. My wife returned to the dealership a month after closing the deal to thank them for my experience and Melissa remembered her. Bought a car here. When signing was told I qualified for a loan at a 3.3-3.5% and first payment would not be due for 90 days. Next day came in to finalize and now the loan was thru a completely different bank and interest was at 7%. The 90 day payment was out the window too. Had to wait 5 weeks for the title to show but the dealership payed for a rental car. Service dept seems pretty good. Drive in service center just expect well over an hour wait for an oil change..... Update: be careful when purchasing the extra service plans for your vehicle. Apparently there is an expiration date. I bought the best service plan... comes with 6 oil changes, tire rotation and inspection stickers for 3 years. Made an appointment for oil change to use the last one of my paid oil changes. After arriving at the facility for my appointment a week later and the service lady told me my package had expired a few days prior and I would have to pay for the service of $89. I already paid for a service package and now have to pay for a service that I already paid for. What? I'm all good. I got duped on the loan and I got duped on the service packages. I also purchased a ding package as well and hopefully can still use it.

When here a year ago had a horrible experience went to the parts counter to get a Volkswagen part rang the bell three separate times no one came to the window, the guys in the department where Outback talking about their weekend plans, guess they didn't want to work rest of day. I did call to complained to the facility manager but I was hung up on when I told the operator I was calling to complained about parts department when asked about the nature of call. came back today to have hundred thousand mile service done. Waiting for the facility to open, 15 min after my appointment start time. Took an hour and 45 minutes told it would take an hour and 15 not big deal but I went to pay was told that the whole thing was not done they did not do the items which are supposed to be done every 50,000 and it would take another hour and 15. Make sure you question what they do and find out what supposed to be done.

Very disappointed with my experience at this dealership yet again. In 2014 I had a terrible experience with the then manager returning my vanity plates. I swore I would never go back there. However, I was convinced when I was told it was under new management and that most if not all the staff had been replaced. Needless to say although the new General Manager and the Customer Service "attempted" service recovery in the end they lost another customer. Gnear The used car manager is shady and how he puts his head down on his pillow at night is baffling. If you choose to purchase a car from them with a trade or having any dealings with them period. I highly suggest recording / or video taping the conversation and make sure you get it in writing -because if you don't they will just use the excuse they don't have any paperwork to back it up. Shame on me for thinking this dealership had changed. The only good thing about this whole experience was Shelia Martin was exceptional and did everything she said she would do. Still waiting on the key that was promised to me...I won't hold my breath though.

I am having a really bad experience with the service department. Its has been over 4-5 months and I haven't seen any progress in my claim. Few months back I took my car for a repair and I was charged for the repair but that repair didn't solve the problem. Later service guy told me they will refund me money they charged me for the repair and I can use it to buy other part they suspect is creating the problem. I asked them to give me a refund because I didn't wanted to pay more amount for the new part that they suspect is the problem. They asked me to visit the service center so they can transfer money to my card but when I went there they said we will send a check to your address but nothing. I am following up with service for past few months and each time they come up with innovative excuses like, person who will process the claim is on vacation, we will give you a call back, the sales guy left the job, can you come again. They always say they will refund my money by check or back to my card but no action. They are wasting my time and I would suggest other buyers to decide for themselves. This was my one stop dealership for all my car problems but never expected this. Dealership finally followed up with me and gave me store credit. I will update my review once I am able to use it for car service. The dealership allowed me to use the credit.

Was called later in the day and was told we had about 15k more life on them and they did not need to be done. Thanks to Meineke for their honesty. Can't say the same for this place. Not pleased.

We went to AutoFair Volkswagen in Merrimack, NH and had a great experience with Bob Smith. We leased her a 2016 Volkswagen Beetle SE at a good price after a bit of back and forth negotiation. We had her on her way in about three hours, including a test drive, vehicle detail and paperwork. The least pleasant part of getting a new car is usually spent with the F&I Manager, but Matt Schoech was great. I needed to leave once the paperwork was signed, so I asked Bob to send a picture of my mom in her new Beetle, which he did, and which I sincerely appreciated.

I wish I could give this place a zero. I got a call one evening from a sales rep from there about a car I inquired about at around 630pm and they told me the car was there and I could test drive it in the morning and I told them I would be there once they opened the next morning and that I lived an hour away and wanted to make sure the car was there. She assured me it was. I get there and of course the car was sold the night before (apparently sometime between 630pm and when they closed). The salesman shows me a similar car and I did not like it and asked to see some others. He showed me one that I said I might be interested in. I had told the salesman 4 times that I couldn't put any money down that day but I was looking to buy in the next day or two because my car was totaled and I was getting a check in the next couple of days. I gave him my highest payment as well as my ideal payment (which I shouldn't have done). So the salesman pressured me into looking at numbers and I told him fine but I wasn't putting anything down. He came back with the absolute highest number that I'd possibly go and I asked him if it was the best he could do and he said "are you putting any money down today?" and I said no I told you 5 times I was not going to do that and he said "well until your serious, this is the best I can do." Well I lost it on him and then left and will never ever consider giving them my business in the future. Classic Bait and Switch! Scum Bags!

Beware about service your vehicle at Auto UNFAIR Volkswagen. On July 20 2019 I asked Stephannie Vasq Service Advisor to provide Synthetic Oil change and TIRE ROTATION for my Jetta . after one hour she coming to me and said... all DONE. When I check my vehicle I notice about tire rotation was not done, clearly showing front tire still having spare tire on( I mentioned to Mrs Stephannie prior the service about having tire inside my vehicle trunk). This poor customer service lie to me saying.. well we didn't rotate your tires due to all are in equally tread. I paid for have rotation $24.95 and they got my vehicle back and said. WILL WE DO THE ROTATION FOR YOU... again. AGAIN. I RECEIVED MY VEHICLE WITHOUT TIRE rotation, simple to verify was due to I have one GREEN valve cap at my rear tire and of course still there when I checked for the second time. I asked to return my money for the service I order they never provided. Than they said we charge you only $10.00 ten dollars. it is a comedy this service department. Finally they agree to return$20.70 to my credit card account. So should a CUSTOMER TRUST THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT?

I bought a 2015 Jetta in July and made sure it was a cpo vehicle. The beginning of October I turned on my heated seats and noticed the drivers side was broken but the passenger side did work. I called Dylan in service and he made sure he got me in fast and even offered me a loaner car since I really can’t go without a car with all my appointments and work in between. There is a $50 cpo deductible which I talked to Chris in sales about and he actually waived the fee the same day I called, he made sure I was a happy customer even though it was my fault I should of checked the heated seats but I wasn’t thinking of that in July haha. Overall I am very happy with my car nothing else has went wrong and the customer service I have received is super fast and always pleasing. I think they do the best job and I would recommend them!

To sell a car they they please you to the point it's uncomfortable with that bell ringing bs... I called Wednesday to schedule an inspection for Saturday and Friday afternoon they called to cancel the appointment with no more excuses and not offering any kind of compensation and when you try to talk to someone in charge they are never available. Every labor or parts are at least 10 % more expensive than anywhere else. But the worse of all is that after all that pushing to sell you car they don't really care about you when you need their services. Good luck if you need to take your car there

One stop Auto Body take my VW Touareg there for reset a sensor and they did it and never put the liner back and I went back for them to fix it, after that I get 4 tires from them they put it up with no alligment 5 mouths later I have to buy new ones again.. yesterday I call them to give me and estimate to get a brake pads done it was $1,500and before I get a estimate for$1,741.06 to replace brake pads and rotors and today I call just to other the pads and the sensor to diy it was $5,26.37 and then I call another dealer in Mass it is $217.19 and New Hampshire don't have a state taxes but Massachusetts do and I don't know why they did that to me but I could have used that money for something else

My sales person was great, and so far I'm happy with the CPO Touareg I purchased on Aug 3rd, but when it came to paperwork I was beyond disappointed. Drove all the way from RI to purchase this car, was promised that the title would be overnighted to me. Over 2 weeks later, no title. Multiple calls with no response, even my sales person who tried to help had a hard time trying to get an answer. Finally I get in touch with the finance manager and he says the title was sent out the previous day, that it's at my door now, and a "sorry I was on vacation" excuse from them. Got home, title wasn't there. And it wasn't there the next day or the following Monday. Called again, found that the title was still at the dealership and now it's finally being overnighted to me and that leaves me with only 2 days to get my car VIN checked and registered before my temp plate expires but I'm out of town on business for 3 days. On top of this, I can get penalized on taxes because the vehicle isn't registered in a timely fashion. Basically only got "sorry, don't know who messed up" and sucks to be you response when the title was found. Can't believe a dealership would handle paperwork in this way, and leave a customer in this kind of predicament.

This place is your typical car dealership. Note all the other reviews that mention the word LIE. They put us through 5 hours of negotiations just to give us a lease that we never ever ever should have taken. We NEVER mentioned the word lease nor thought it would work for us. They assured us it was the way to go. We should have just walked out at this point. But no, 19 months later and my warranty is expired! Now they want $5400 for a new warranty. These people will straight up lie to your face to push a car out of that parking lot. Avoid this place at all cost! A family member had the same experience. They had him come in 3 times to correct paperwork that they screwed up. He eventually starting ignoring them once they called for the fourth time. He still has the car so that means they forged his signature. Tell me I'm wrong! Due to the shadiness of this company I will never return. Worth noting the finance people lie when they say extended warranties aren't negotiatiable. Every other dealership I called offered me the same warranty at $250 above their cost. Yeah that's a savings of $1200. That means that finance guy was trying to pocket all that extra instead of helping a 3 year returning customer. Absolutely love my car (hate the deal) but can't do business with these people based on the multiple lies. I will only shop at non-commission based dealerships to avoid the absolutely crappy service from commission based dealerships. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! Must say the service department has always been top notch! In response to the manager asking for me to contact them, it would be useless unless you have a time machine!

I went to get my car checked out to find out what was going on with my brake. They said the caliper needed to be replaced and gave me a quote and I left. I went to take off the tire and they replaced (only on that tire) one of the lug nuts with a locking lug nut so that I couldn't take off the tire.

Exceptional service, Brought my Ford Explorer in for service one morning without having an appointment because heading to work that morning my SUV sounded like it was going to blow up. Come to find out it was the transfer case. My husband and I pulled up first thing in the morning, walked in and told Samantha the issue we were having. This is a poor place to purchase a used vehicle from. As a Massachusetts resident, don't trust they will handle the paperwork, RMV-1, and Registration. Purchased a used 2016 Tacoma, on Thursday with 7-days to acquire a Mass, Inspection sticker. 6 days later still no registration, though they promised to OVERNIGHT it on Friday. Now I will have to drive back to the dealership, WHEN? they get my registration. Effective tomorrow, it will be illegal to drive my truck. It's a MOVING VIOLATION to drive without the inspection sticker, Read (7 years of Insurance Surcharges) Spoke with (3) individuals regarding this. Each had a different scenario Additionally, I had inspected and test drove the truck on Wednesday and specifically checked a few things. The owners manuals and remote starter manuals were in the center console during the test drive. When I took delivery, they were missing. They refused to pay for replacements. I have to pay out of pocket for the Manuals on Ebay. Not a great deal by any stretch, though reasonable with my trade-in.

Then they have been telling me everyday it will be done tomorrow. Called today now they have “order another part” which will not be tomorrow.
