The team of people running this place are such a great group of people. We bought a new Tundra the beginning of this year and the entire process was great..... and we were there for basically 2 days straight with a 4 year old and a 14 mo. We test drove a ridiculous amount of vehicles and our kids ran a muk. We got to know the staff there well. I really felt that they were honest and gave us the best deal and advice on our trade in. Besides all that, I see their logo on numerous community activity banners. We care about our community and it's great to see local businesses, like these guys, sponsoring events and being involved.

Our experience with this dealer was outrageous and borderline bizarre. It got off to a bad start immediately. We were in the market for a new vehicle. We stopped by KT to look. We had just come from fishing, so we were in our old fishing clothes. Apparently the sales staff at KT assumed that we didn't have the funds to purchase a new vehicle by the way we were dressed. The first person we encountered passed us off to another salesman by saying, "You take this one." We decided to compare and called another dealer 120 miles away. They offered a better deal, but we decided that if KT would match that deal, we would buy local instead of the other dealership. So we called them and that's when things got weird. KT told us they couldn't match the deal because they weren't "corporate." Then the salesman started badmouthing the other dealer. He said that the other dealer offered deals to a chosen few customers, but would make up for it by "screwing over" the next customer who came along. Also, he told us that the other dealer will get you to drive down there to look at a vehicle and tell you it's sold when you get there so they can push you into buying another vehicle. We were also told that the other dealer bases the amount of your trade-in on the value of the vehicle you are purchasing. Higher priced new vehicle-higher trade in for your old vehicle. On top of that, according to this guy Kalispell Toyota has higher prices because they also "give back to the community." To meet their charitable goal they have to charge more. After hearing all this nonsense we decided that even if Kalispell Toyota offered us a better deal we would STILL purchase from the other dealer. We did, and we have a brand new vehicle in our driveway. BTW, if Kalispell Toyota tries to deny my claims, I also have correspondence from them to prove it.

I'm going to begin this review backwards, with an odd personal note: the day I went to pick up my RAV4 I was wandering around the store and the person who stopped to ask if he could help me happened to be the owner. This is a very small thing, but it spoke of a style of leadership that resonates with me. I mentioned it to Ian (my salesperson) and he told me that the owner is the sort who still opens doors for customers, and that the day before he had even sold a vehicle because all the sales people were busy, so the boss chipped in. This may or may not mean anything to you, but to my mind, when the entire hierarchy of a business has that sort of commitment and mentality good things are sure to follow. I am very pleased with the service I received while purchasing a used RAV4 from Kalispell Toyota. I found my vehicle just a day or two after it had been traded in, and I asked about the repair work they were doing. The list was rather impressive and included common things like new breaks and new tires. I worked with Ian as my sales person and Jenny for the loan and am feeling fortunate to have been assigned to them. I had an excellent experience at Kalispell Toyota and recommend them with confidence.

I got my first Toyota Tacoma about 18 years ago and I've been driving Tacomas ever since. One of the reasons why I like Toyota is the fast and dependable service that I had received over the years. That great service record was temporarily damaged recently. I had three ball joints go out. I asked to have the 4th one replaced but instead they just checked it. Once it was put back together and realigned, the service writer (who no longer works there) didn't want to go back in and change it. I should have went to the manager immediately, but not wanting to generate any more conflict, I just walked away and hoped for the best. Well, eventually that ball joint did go out just as I feared it would. That resulted in a towing fee and some secondary damage to the CV axle boot. I brought this issue to the General Manager who looked into it and offered me a fair resolution. No service shop is perfect but it's good to know that you will be treated fairly when things do go wrong.

This dealer takes care of both my, and my wife's vehicles. No complaints. Pro tip: don't be a stupid consumer/car owner with an immovable opinion substituting for real knowledge. Too often I overhear customers complain about X,Y, or Z problem they had with their vehicle AFTER it was repaired! Owning a car does not make you an expert in the field! I have had both of my Toyota's worked on here. My 1988 pickup had thousands of dollars in engine work done to it over a week. I had no issues with the work afterwards and was helped with a rental Rav 4 during the repairs. After the repairs I had no more issues with the engine. The staff made and makes the visits there warm and welcoming. From the complimentary shuttle rides to the quality work I have received on my vehicles I am proud to own Toyota's. I am not fond of the dealership cost but maybe the cost is the price of not having to worry about something going wrong and it not being made right.

I would never recommend Kalispell Toyota to anybody. I myself don't have the best credit score but make good money and had $4000 down with a CO signer that had just under a 700 credit score ! I talked to them at 1st S in October and they have been bugging me ever since to come back to get a vehicle, I am a business owner And out with these guys for over a week, test drove the vehicle and they still turned me down after amp ing me up like I was going to get it. Very disappointed with the service

They've always done service as I expected on my vehicle, however, they are not too friendly and could have a much better waiting area. Waiting area is a bit dirty. They don't even have a scoop for the popcorn, so I won't eat it. Coffee and cappuccino machines are sometimes dirty, too. Once it tasted like dirt was in it. However, I have no problems with how they have treated my vehicle when I've brought it in for service to be done on it. That is then important part...for them to treat my vehicle right and do the service I am paying for them to do.

They were also candid about a cosmetic issue with a headlamp that was not clear in a photograph that they weren’t going to repair, but could be an issue in the future. BEWARE OF THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT!!! Overpriced and Greedy, but what do you expect from a car dealership. Kalispell Toyota does a wonderful job hosting you and making you feel all warm and fuzzy, like you can finally trust a dealership for once in your life. Get you nice and comfortable in that car and then BAM, the corrupt finance department gets their turn. Aaron was a wonderful sales man. He is really fun to work with. Been in there twice to see him. No complaints about him at all. Very friendly and down to earth. I would give him and your sales department 5 stars. My complaint is with the finance department particularly Jessie. I give them 0 stars. I lacked $1000 on the car I wanted and they refused to budge. That's fine, they are a business with all this no haggle mumbo jumbo, I understand. But they wanted me to finance that $1000 for 4 years! I could pay that off in 2 pay checks at least. There is no way I was going to do that. And every time we talked about financing a car I wanted to look at 2 year loans and Jessie kept telling me why a 4 year loan was better because interest wasn't much more, blah, blah, blah I worked in banking for 10 years. I know how this interest thing works. He kept giving me quotes for 4 years and after running my credit wouldn't give me the rate I would actually get. He kept quoting a scenario rate. He cares more about money than customer satisfaction it seems and once again I left another car dealership frustrated at their financial corruption. I looked up the information on Kelly Blue book for the high mileage 2005 Honda Pilot I was hoping to purchase. The trade in value for that car is $3500 tops (which I doubt they gave that to the owner because the car had some problems but for this scenario lets say they did and give them the benefit of the doubt). The cars value is only $5500 according to Kelly Blue Book. They were selling it for $7500. So that's a $4000 profit. I was told they put $1700 worth of work into the car so that would make it $2300 profit. You are telling me you cannot budge $1000 or even work out some sort of 2 month payment plan for the last $1000? (Again, they probably didn't give $3500 for the trade-in so they probably profited more.) As I told Jessie, I was settling for the Honda Pilot. I don't want to finance a car I like, I want to finance a car I want. (Logic Jessie couldn't understand and kept trying to talk me out of, for a 4 year loan). Thank you Kalispell Toyota for not allowing me to settle. I'll be moving on to find the perfect car I want now somewhere else. Too bad, I'm a pretty loyal customer so you would have gotten all my maintenance business plus referrals. But I'm sure you will make up that money somewhere else as long as Jessie is working for you! Noticed the Pilot was sold today. I hope it was sold for $7500

This is my third review for Kalispell Toyota. Bought my 2nd and 3rd vehicle the other day from them. That’s right 2 in one day. I drive 4 hrs to do business with them. There customer service is top notch. They are honest, and so helpful. My salesman came in on his days off to work for me. He called me on his days off just to return my call in a timely manner. He never pawned me off to someone else. They were upfront on everything from my trade in to showing me what they replaced on the used car I bought for my daughter. I wanted a certain Tundra and they found it and brought it in from another dealership! I can’t say enough about these guys! In a couple yrs we will drive another 4hrs to purchase from them! P.S. there salary not commission. They don’t come at you like vultures! Thanks Duc and Chris for making feel like family!

While on vacation at Glacier National Park, we had car trouble and needed serious repairs. Kalispell Toyota took great care of our car and had a reasonably priced rental to drive so we could enjoy the last few days of our vacation while repairs were underway. The service was great, parts were located quickly, and repairs were prompt. They really saved the last few days of our vacation and had our car ready for the long trip back home. (over 900 miles) I would highly recommend their service. I feel Kalispell Toyota went above and beyond to repair our car, fitting it in to their busy schedule on short notice, to get us back on track and headed home on time.

Excellent Dealership. I was a bit skeptical about their "best price" philosophy, and reluctance to negotiate. As a result, I looked throughout the western United States for a similar vehicle, and was prepared to travel to Denver, Portland, Seattle, etc., to obtain the best deal. However, after my extensive research, I discovered Kalispell Toyota did, in fact, have the best deals. Absolutely loved the staff, especially Duc, Chris, and Jessie. They were incredibly friendly and more than willing to answer all of our questions and made the process smooth and easy!! By far the best dealership I have gone to! Duc gave us all the information about the vehicle and asked us several questions to help make sure this was the vehicle for us. He got us into the shop right away so my fiance could look at the undercarriage of the vehicle we wanted to buy. In the shop we talked to Jessie, one of the mechanics who was so helpful. Better service than we have had at ANY other dealership. Chris was very personable and went over everything so well, then got us on the road so we could make the drive home. I would drive the 4 hours in pouring rain to do it all over again. I cannot recommend this dealership enough!

Also their prices were the best as I had been comparing across dealerships from Montana. Washington and Idaho. I own 2 toyota vehicles, one is an older toyota tundra, well, I wanted to have the radiator flushed before winter and I was quoted a price of $200. This price is outrageous. So I went to a local oil and lube center, and paid $100 for the same procedure. Kalispell toyota price gouges on everything. That is one of the main reasons, I don't order parts through them or have any of my vehicles serviced through them. They care more about ripping off the consumer, than offerings services at a decent price.

This dealership has changed drastically. Salespeople are now dishonest, pushy and misleading. They quoted wrong price and informed me of much higher price while finalizing the deal; the salesperson blamed it on several models of same color, but rampant dishonesty was obvious. They claim to have 7 day return policy, but then said they needed to charge over $1000 in remediation fees. Very dishonest.

I drove over two hours each way for my appointment which the service adviser was aware of, and had scheduled a remote starter to be installed along with my service. Was told would take 4-5 hours. Now that they have my truck it's taking 8 hours, with no prior warning, because they "are down a few people". What a complete waste of a day. Should have called to reschedule me so I'm not driving home in the dark on icy roads. Inconsiderate customer service.

I was a tourist from High Point, NC, visiting the Glacier Natl Park area and wanted my oil change and multi-point checkup to be done by professionals, not a 15-min place. I did not want to take chances while on backroads. The service rep, Dave, was great at working with the techs to get me on the road and explaining what needed to be done. And they gave me a coupon for a free car wash down the street. This dealership was a welcome oasis for me, as I was in unfamiliar territory to me. Good coffee, too, in a pleasant waiting area. I highly recommend them.
