I highly recommend checking this place out if you're car shopping and ask for Spencer if you do. He is a super nice guy, very knowledgeable, and not "salesy" like most people think of car salesmen. I was looking at a 2019 CR-V and felt like they were working with me every step of the way instead of trying to work me over. On the flip side, stay away from HW Kia down the road. I ended up buying a Kia Sportage, which I love, but I was put through the ringer and they tried to pull a fast one every step of the way.

I had the best experience with West County Honda! After a near fatal accident I started searching for cars and put money down on one at another dealership. I was so happy and had only been driving the car for a day and a half and then all of the sudden my engine blew?! We took it to a mechanic and automatically something was fishy. They hadn't even presented us with the buyers guide which little did we know was required of them. Eventually we had the contract voided and got our money back. I reluctantly began my car search again. I ended up at West County Honda and they could not have been more friendly, understanding, and cooperative with our situation. Chris took care of us and he was just the nicest guy and an awesome, well rounded cars salesman. I would recommend anyone looking for a new or used car, to go to West County Honda. A+ to everyone there. You made my mom and I feel comfortable and put us at ease through the entire process of purchasing my car!

My daughter took her civic to get the ac fixed, she was told by Michael Gott, her steering pump was leaking badly and wanted 1400.00 to fix it. It has never needed fluid, no noise, nothing wrong with it. I suggested she leave there now and not go back. Beware future customers.

The battery on my Honda Odyssey died today. Called West County Honda to get it replaced today as it was still under warranty. Service advisor was rude and told me that they were very busy. They could not get to it till Thursday. I asked if I could bring battery in to get replaced under warranty. They said they had to replace. The advisor was very rude. I called Mungenast Honda. They told me to bring it in TODAY and they would get to it. Don’t waste your time with West County. Very rude people and not helpful.

Would highly recommend avoiding this dealership at all costs. There has not been one aspect of my new car buying or service experience that hasn’t been a head scratcher, a “miscommunication” or downright incompetent. Loan documents were screwed up, Had to leave work to make an extra trip across town to correct their mistake. Title documents were incorrect and wasn’t able to title my car at a normal title office. It’s been 3 months and I’m still waiting on my new documents that I was promised..... had to force the title correction myself since West County Honda can’t be bothered to follow up. Was informed by a service advisor that a coupon could work for my service. Went in after receiving this confirmation and was then told it wouldn’t work. Management refused to give an explanation for why I was told two different pieces of information to which they replied they didn’t think they had to provide an explanation justifying the decision. There is a supreme lack of customer service at West County Honda or even any value put on customer satisfaction. This is apparent from management, starting with the GM, which sets the tone all the way down the levels of the dealership. I would save yourself the headache and try another dealership in town.

Doc helped make my car buying experience a breeze. He is knowledgeable about the vehicles and was there with me from the moment I got there to the moment I drove off the lot in my brand new vehicle. He wasn’t pushy or ever make me feel pressured into a sale. The managers even introduced themselves and got involved in my experience at this dealership. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because, I almost felt as if I was wasting the finance managers time. He didn’t want to be there and he made it known. I didn’t exactly choose to be car shopping on a holiday, but I was forced to under unforeseen circumstances. Yes, it was busy. I waited over an hour to actually purchase my car and once I sat down in his office, all he did was complain. Overall, it was probably the easiest car buying has ever been in my experience and I would recommend this dealership to anyone who asked.

I was only planning to testdrive a CR-V but signed on the dotted line! I'm giving 4 stars because the process took quite a while and I'll still have to go back for all-weather mats that are supposed to part of the package of an "add-on". But, overall it was a relatively stress free event and they did a great job keeping the payments close to where I wanted them to be. I visited this location because I received a $14.95 oil change coupon. It turned out to be a bigger ordeal than it should've been. It took 15 min to check my car in (I was dropping it off) and then it took couple hours to get a call back. I missed the call and when I called back I had to leave a voicemail. I guess my car was assigned to a specific agent and only he could handle it. When I picked up my car 3 hours after dropping it off, the paperwork wasn't ready. I had to wait in the waiting room for 10-15 min while they got it together. I've visited the Honda dealership in St. Peters in the past and that shop is a lot nicer and more timely.

Whoever is the owner, General Manager, Managers, etc. I would encourage you to conduct secret shoppers and rate their experience on customer service, satisfaction and experience. Experience is what drives retention and future customers. I highly advise management at this location to visit Kia HW down the street to see how they treat their business and employees. Horrible customer service. Irresponsible employees. The salesman did everything he could to make sure I left that day with a car. But after the deal was done, they completely abandoned their customer service. Multiple pieces of paperwork were filled out incorrectly, resulting in me being unable to register the car within the allotted time frame. When I asked them to extend my temporary tags due to errors on their behalf, they refused. When I asked them to reimburse me for the late charges I incurred, they refused. Admittedly, I waited until the day before the tags expired, but that doesn’t change the fact that they were unwilling to help. Highly disappointing considering the wonderful sales experience I had. This will not be a long-term relationship as I had originally hoped. I should have listened to all of my friends who encouraged me to shop at Frontenac Honda.

Unfortunately, my experience at West County Honda wasn't anything more than a big disappointment. The staff, in general, seemed very friendly and helpful at first, especially before buying the car. Once bought, I had a Check Engine light on in the first couple weeks, followed by a car not turning over needing a new battery, and a car that jolts when decelerating into first gear. Assuming that West County Honda would at the very least give me a diagnosis to see what steps I needed to take to get my car into working order, they declined me and offered me mediocre customer service, not referring me to the manager who i asked to speak with. Also, I had to make a trip back to West County Honda (on my off day) to clear up some clerical work with the financial department that they negated to do correctly in the first place. Overall, I'm sad to say I will not be returning to West County Honda.

Just stopped in to take a look at the new Passport. Asked the poor young (and green) salesman to see the factory invoice for the EXL and he said sure. Arrogant dude at the desk told me "I'm not going to tell you what we paid for the vehicle." I pointed out to him that after a poor experience at this dealership in 2017 my wife and I went to St. Louis Honda to shop for the CRV she wanted. The salesman there gave me a copy of the factory invoice without hesitation, and we worked out a deal pretty quickly. If you want to pay less than MSRP, take your business elsewhere.

I’ve had two horrible experiences here. The first was when I was leasing a car and the windshield randomly cracked because of cold temperatures. I took it in to get fixed and the on-site mechanics were rude to my father and I and acted as if I was lying about the crack. Subsequently, I took it to Honda at Frontenac & the issue was dealt with immediately and respectfully. Next , I decided to buy my leased car and since this is the dealership I leased from, I went here to do the paperwork. I was a first time buyer and didn’t know of certain options that were available to me. The staff at West County Honda failed to advise me of these options and left me in a tough financial position afterwards. I even called afterwards to try and remedy the situation and they told me they wouldn’t fix it because it would be inconvenient to them. After all is said and done, this experience left me feeling upset and taken advantage of. I highly recommend avoiding this Honda dealership.

What a horrible experience!!! I did my research and found a car that I wanted on the dealer website. Called this morning to schedule an appointment. My wife had to work and I was forced to take my Twin 21 month old boys with me. I explained the situation to the saleswoman. The “Bait and Switch” started soon after that. The first warning sign was when they calculated the payment and used the a price other than advertised and even marked it up. I told the saleswoman that I am not here to haggle over price and showed her their dealer webpage with the advertised price. She took that back to number crunching room, (who the heck knows what they do in there). But they came back with even a more intelligence insulting offer. And this is when the double talking, jargon, and overall predatory sales practices started. Stay away from this dealer. There are a million Honda dealers out there why waist your time with a dishonest one!!!

However, salesman (Clayton) severely misrepresented the offer and added an additional $1,000 on top of the agreed upon purchase price from the beginning of the lease. Stopped by found the CRV All wheel drive I wanted. Came d Back with my wife. The car that was pulled up for my wife to test drive was dirty. So I checked the car and found a large dent in the rear hatch, but my wife test drove the car. We were only 1 to 2 miles away and 3 warning lights on the breaking system keep coming on and off We went back to Mungenast and my wife went straight to her car never looking back I really wanted to buy a Honda CRV. Poor service and experience. The advertised sales price did not include the rubber mats in the van so the dealer removed them from the car. The paperwork that was sent to me to pay sales tax was incorrect. The salesman told me the corrected title would be sent to me but never arrived. A waste of time. Go here only for the price if competitive. Not the service. Just another car dealer. Their motto is "expect the best". Far from it, worst experience in all my years of buying cars. Only plus, got a good price for my car. Update - BUYER BEWARE. The dealership and salesman did not provide me with the wheel lock, a special lug nut to open the when to replace the tire. I left two messages for the manager Todd and a message for the sales guy, let us see how long it takes to get the wheel love coming THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE CAR.

Kris has been fantastic to work with. He has a laid back approach and doesn't come off as pushy or "salesy" in any way. He has answered all of my questions thoroughly, addressed any of my concerns, and smiled through it all. OTo start out, our first interaction was a weird one. I literally drove onto the lot, and asked if I could try to see if 3 carseats fit in the back of a certain car. He was happy to oblige, helped me move carseats, answered my weird questions, and even let me take the car out on a short test drive. At that point he sold me on his service and it was just a matter of making sure this was the car for me... and it was! Thanks again Kris! My only suggestion to the dealer is to play something other than country music in the building... but that's unrelated to the experience :)

Very Poor Quality of CPO Vehicles. I picked up a certified pre owned vehicle, which i saw had some problems but all in all looked in good shape as it was a CPO i figured they were thorough to fix it. from what ive learned about the car is it has been it at least 2 minor accidents. one caused the Front fender to not align perfectly, leaving a gap, witch i fixed with bending the metal back into place, and the other was the rear bumper had been replaced at some point, also one of the mud guard does not stay on properly. after driving the vehicle i had a grinding starter that i had to get replaced a week later, as well as a broken window regulator, lucky i bought a CPO and it was covered under warranty. also they said they put brand new tires on the car, witch they did, but they are deathly scary to drive on as they are the cheapest tires you can buy at walmart and lock up when you have to brake hard for anything, such as when cut off; almost causing me to be in an accident, and spin in the rain all of the time. so if they say they put new tires on it just be aware they are garbage and dangerous, and i will probably have to buy a new pair before winter because i don't feel safe driving with those tires. Sales was fine experience, they do try and add stupid services to the price of the care but what ever thats every dealer. the reason i give a 1 star is the problems causing me to have to bring in for repairs to starter and window a week late. The second reason is how bad the tires on the car are, and how i will eventually have to get new tires even though they are in perfect shape. Service is a joke. I ended up calling the number they told me to and made me leave a message and still haven't heard back so i guess not actually willing to reach out about the problems.

Working with sales (Kris) was great. He made an attempt to answer all my questions and was laid back, a plus for a car sales rep. For questions he did not have an answer for he told us “I don’t know”. How often will you find a sales rep who honestly tells you that he does not know?? Rating 4 stars instead of 5 because our experience with finance guy was less than desirable. He was a passive aggressive man. I brought in my financing rate from my bank but asked him to run my score with other lenders they have to see if I could get a better rate. Finance (Mike Simpson) proceeded to tell me he *knew* I could not get a better rate. I told him I would not be doing my homework if I did not check to be sure and the only way to do so was to submit my application (my credit score is excellent by the way). Mike got frustrated and border line condescending with his responses from there on. He finally agreed to submit my application and to his ego boost- he was right. My credit union had a better rate. He also got flustered when we declined the extra warranty package and was super passive aggressive the whole time with his answers and snarky comments. Not a pleasant experience dealing with him.

I have never had a better car buying experience! I mostly dealt with Emily Garrison by phone and email. She was fantastic and very responsive to my inquiries. I was actually going to buy from another dealership because they had the best price, but they also didn't have the trim level I wanted in stock. Finally, late in the evening the other dealership indicated that they may have trouble getting me the vehicle I wanted in a timely fashion (it may take weeks). I called Emily, who was incredibly gracious when I initially told her that we had decided to go with the other offer, to see if she still had the car I wanted in stock. I only wanted to see if I could put a deposit down so they would hold the car for me since it was 30 minutes until they closed and I would be unable to come in until Tuesday (this was a Saturday). She asked me how far away I was and then put me on hold. To my surprise, she came back on and said they would wait for me! When I arrived I was met with excitement from Emily and Doc Vit. These two were staying late for me and they still showed more enthusiasm and excitement than I've experienced in even an empty showroom where I'm the lone, potential buyer! I never felt rushed, and I never felt like a burden for keeping them late. I was treated like I imagine they treated every buyer that walked through the door (during their normal business hours!). It was truly an amazing experience! I can't possibly thank Emily and Doc enough. I highly recommend West County Honda if you're in the market for a new car.

I’ve also had to bring my car to the service department for various reasons, and they are the best! They take their time talking with you about your car. They frequently come to the waiting lounge to give you updates on how much longer it will be, etc. I actually live about 45 minutes away and there is a Honda dealer closer to me, but I will always opt to drive to Honda in Ellisville. 10/10 service here!

Went in in Monday night to look at a new Pilot. Our CR-V lease is up in a week and was prepared to lease a Pilot last night. We were in the showroom and in the lot for 20 minutes and we're never even acknowledged by anyone. They weren't busy. The sales manager was too busy sitting at the back counter to even look up and say hello. These guys inundate us with flyers and advertising but when I came in ready to buy they couldn't even say hello. Now I understand why I buy from Bommarito Honda. Called my previous salesperson, got a fair price over the phone and will pick the car up on Saturday. So I'll drive 30 miles to Hazelwood instead of 2 miles to West County and you should too.

On Tuesday, September 10th I tried to go online to make an appointment to bring my Honda Odyssey in for an oil change and 30,000 mile maintenance. After attempting to navigate the online site myself with no luck, I chatted with one of the online assistants and was again directed to make an appointment online. I finally called and come to find out they do not do online appointments anymore. I thought to myself two things, why is that still an option on your website and why are the online assistants still directing people to the online system. I explained to the lady who took my call that I needed to schedule an appointment for an oil change and 30,000 mile maintenance. She asked when and I said well I can do a Thursday afternoon or a Saturday. I have three children who all have different activities throughout the week. We agreed on 10 am on Saturday, September 14th. Fast forward to Saturday. I pull up at 9:20 am to drop my car off. When I pull forward the gentleman that came to the door was asking me about mileage and my reason for my appointment. I tell him my mileage and that I am here for 30,000 mile maintenance and an oil change. He asked if I can step inside and someone will be with me shortly to check me in. I stand inside for 10 minutes, no one comes to check me in. I finally go outside and explain that I was here to drop my car off for an appointment and I have to leave, but no one has come to check me in yet. The man apologizes and said they are short staffed because someone walked out the day before with no notice. I tell him I understand, but need to go because my daughter who is waiting with my husband other kids in the parking lot has a softball game that we will be late for if we don’t go now. I give him my name and number, but explain my number is the one tied to the system for the car, but to please call my husband and wrote down his number. I leave and neither of us hear anything for hours. I, not my husband, get a call right before 2pm saying my car is ready and they close at 4 pm. We get there to pick my car up at 3:45 pm and come to find out they had only done an oil change!!! They claim they had no record that I was there for 30,000 mile maintenance. My husband explained that I told two different people that was what I scheduled along with a routine oil change. The guy gave a $6 discount on the oil change. Six dollars does not change the fact that not only do I not have the maintenance needed on my car, I have to bring my car back for another appointment entirely. I AM SO AGGRAVATED AND DISAPPOINTED!!!

Have gone three different times to get my oil changed. One time I set up an appointment and the other two I just dropped in. Each time I was an estimated an hour to complete the service. Each time I was presently surprised with them completing the service around 30 mins. I have gone during the week and once during the weekend. The gentleman that checked me in was extremely professional and friendly. I personally would recommend if possible to set up an appointment and was told that by the staff to make it easier on the customer. I also liked that they followed up a few days later to check if I was happy with the service. Would recommend this location.

She kept sending the service person back and forth until I actually had to ask him, “ if there was a reason why I couldn’t just speak to her directly and explain the issue.” He finally transferred me. She answered in a huff and obviously annoyed. She cut me off when I tried to explain the issue and did not seem to understand nor want to understand the problem. She just kept talking down to me acting like I wanted something for free or something. Kept advising me to make an appointment in which I already did. I gave up and after the 5th time she said something condescending or spoke in a manner like I was an imposition. Okay, fine at that point I will take my service else wear.
