Great car buying experience until we went to get the vehicle licensed. Signed the title in the wrong place. Then found out we needed another document that they missed. They didn't even car that they wasted alot of our time with trips back to the dealership and at the license office.

Nice no pressure sales, In/Out with new car in 1.5 hours and that included cleaning car and filling with gas. Have not had an opportunity to use the service dept. Will leave a review after that situation occurs. NOTE......I knew what car I wanted and had already made up my mind that I wanted KIA Forte, I had the vin # and was ready to do the deal and they did what they said.

I have to send huge thanks to the team at Jim Butler Kia. When first starting to look, and being deluged with sales people, there was Cheryl, patient, listening, giving me the information I needed when I needed it. Bill helped when I got to the showroom, he could not have made it easier. The last car I got was from another place with that typical creepy car dealership vibe you thought was only still to be found in movies of the 1960s. I was so not looking forward to this. These folks live in the 21st c. and treat customers fairly and with respect. Imagine that! Justin explained the financing clearly. What a treat. Seriously, look at Kia, and then be sure to visit this team. They make it happen!

If I could give them a negative star I totally would. We contacted the dealership after seeing a truck we were interested in online and set up an appointment to come and do the paperwork. When we got there our truck wasn't there and we were told that it had to be delivered from a different dealership (totally understandable). A few days later we were contacted and told that our truck was there if we wanted to come and check it out. We get there and the truck is still not there but hey lets do more paperwork. We finally get to see our truck the day we are signing our paperwork which was another 5 hours at the dealership. I looked over the truck and noticed a few things I wanted to get fixed like the control handle for the seat that is missing (which is now being held by a pair of pliers) They refused to fix anything by throwing in my face that we were already lucky enough to get approved. I figured I would just deal with it and just wanted to leave that place and move on with my life. We got it on 10/09/2015 but on 10/17/2015 the dealer calls us and stated that they "forgot" to do inspections on the truck, so back to the dealership we go. We also requested a second key for which we had to drive back over there because they key making guy is only there on certain days, so back to the dealership we go. Then a short time after that we noticed that the truck was acting funny when shifting so we contacted the dealer since it was about a week before our warranty expired so they can look at it. They told us to drop it off and they will check it out so back we go again. We haven't heard anything from them for 3 days so we called and they said to come and get the truck because there were no issues with it. The truck continued doing the same thing but they said since it was out of warranty there was nothing they would do for us. Well here I am 9 months later with my truck doing the same thing as it was before and after they "checked" it out. Now the transmission is going out and there is rust all over the body of the truck popping through. I'm pretty sure I'm still expected to make payments on something I CANT even drive safely. They emailed us two days ago, reminding us of oil changes and other services. We emailed back explaining on how unhappy we were and explained that we were possibly looking into hiring an attorney because something has to be done to make this right. Some lady immediately called us and said that someone from the dealership with contact us and they never did. SHOCKER!! All I want is to have a truck that I am happy with and that I can safely drive with my 6 year old. I've bought used cars in the past and even still have the one I got 5 years ago and NEVER had issues as I have with this dealership. Feel like they just wanted the sale and didn't really give a crap about our happiness or safety. They don't care, they don't call you back, they just sit back and laugh at you while you are stuck with a broken down vehicle. I however wont be sitting back and letting this go. Someone is going to make this right whether willingly which would be the right thing to do or legally. I understand warranties on used cars but I did contact them before it expired so that leads me to believe that they didn't even look at it knowing that they wouldn't have to deal with me after it expired. Just bad business!!!

Absolute worst of the worst. This service department is the reason the word "stealership" was invented. Filled with liars and thieves. I don't even know where to start. My first interaction with their service department was to have a windshield replaced. Special order item, no big deal. Was told 300 bucks installed,;should have known this sounded to good to be true when every other travelling windshield replacement company quoted $700 plus. Two weeks go by with no windshield arrival. They outsource to a local glass company "Abra" so I'm not blaming them at this point. Finally got the green light to bring in vehicle to have it replaced. They had car for 4 days and changed their story constantly: first day of having my vehicle they state windshield arrived broken. Then second day say it wasn't actually broken but it wont fit. Then day 3 they say Abra install guy hasn't actually shown up at all and no windshield was ever in their facility. Then day 4 they say aftermarket glass won't fit (need $900 OEM) and I need to come pick up my vehicle. Obviously day 4's statement was also a lie, since I had same part number windshield installed by Safelite the week after. Had to pay for a week's worth of commuting gas use in their rental and manager Keith had absolutely no remorse for the lies and misconduct. This should have been my last interaction with these clowns... but the story unfortunately continues... Gave them a second chance because I received a recall notice in the mail. Figured could get tires rotated, balanced, and an alignment while it was in there anyway because car was due. Little do they know, I mark my tires with color coded chalk lines so I don't get ripped off during tire rotations. Received car back and tires were still in same place. Absolute thieves had no issue charging me 49.95 for a service they did not perform. When confronted, they said they did it on purpose because tires had more tread on front for my benefit. Interesting since multi point inspection stated 8/32'' on EVERY SINGLE TIRE. No reason to believe alignment or recall were performed at all. Avoid these criminals at all costs. They are used to taking advantage of booshy Chesterfield clientele who spend money blindly. Service manager Keith is the worst that they come.

Awesome experience, we bought our first Kia yesterday, and we have bought from other dealerships and Jim Butler Kia was by far the best! Jordan was the salesman and he did a great job, not pushy and took plenty of time to explain the new features in the car. The financing was so easy, Justin did a great job with our financing and The whole process was incredible. I will definitely buy from them again.

BUYER BEWARE. This company is dishonest. I went to the Chesterfield location. They will greet you and smile, but knew darn well they lied to me. They will lure you in and constantly email and contact you. They will tell you they will honor a price and to come out and when you get there, they will insult your intelligence by printing company invoices as if you can't do a search online to see MSRP! I called them and emailed and texted them several times confirming that they could do the price, the rep said yes, as they were likely trying to get rid of some 2017 models. LIES! I wasted valuable time I could have spent going to a more reputable honest dealership. They claim they are transparent, yet they couldn't simply tell me over the phone before I drove 40 minutes there, YES OR NO! The managers are cowards and hide in the offices. They also say they will pay for your gas to come out and that is a LIE! They are misleading and scheming. There is NO WAY all of these are actual real reviews! I have never been treated so badly at a car dealership! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I have never financed a car before and needed a new car badly. I did not know where to start but I did know that I am in what is called "subprime" category when financing is concerned. I never thought I would get into a new car, but I was directed to Jim Butler Kia by a friend. The team here got right to work and kept me informed every step of the way. Bought a used car there a while back and not to go into too long of a story but I had a warranty issue that drug on for too long. However they solved the issue, the service department (Kieth was my service writer) was very good and resolved the issue without me having to press the issue and jump through a bunch of hoops. I would highly recommend this dealer because of this interaction. By the way the sales team was also very nice to work with. My first contact was through the internet sales side and as I visited the dealer I was handed off to a member of the sales staff. He spent the necessary time with me and didn't pressure me.

I’ve traded in a car before at another dealer and I wish I would’ve known about the service I could have gotten at Jim Butler Kia! I emailed the dealer about trading my car in and what my options were since I was still upside down because of my previous trade in and Annie let me know that wasn’t a problem. She followed up with me immediately by calling me and asking when I could come by. Little did she know I was already getting ready to head out the door to go meet with her. As soon as I walked in with my husband and toddler TWO sales people asked if I needed anything. (That may not be a big deal to someone, but when you’ve been ignored at other places of business- that makes all the difference) I told them I was there to see Annie about my trade in and they quickly went to go get her. She came out all smiles to meet us and set us up with Jean to talk about my current car and what new car I was interested in. I test drove two versions of the Kira Niro and instantly fell in love. Jean explained EVERY SINGLE feature that the Niro had and I was left without any confusion or questions all due to his thorough knowledge of the car. We decided on the S Touring and since we came in on a Saturday we got to take the car home over the weekend. Amazing! On Monday we came back to speak with Justin about the financing. He broke down everything perfectly. Even explained somethings about my last loan that my previous dealer failed to explain to me. I left with a good deal on a great car!

Anytime I need to get into this facility, I can. They will squeeze me in if necessary. The place is always clean, and they've always got water or coffee available. After doing my research on Kias and Kia dealerships in the area I purchased the Kia Cadenza from Jim Butler Kia in July 2016. I have been very, very, disappointed. In a little over 3 months of owning the Cadenza, on 3 different occasions the key fab either won't unlock the car or lock the car. I even contacted Kia Corporate to help figure this out because it happens very intermittently and when we get it to the dealership they can not make it happen so they can repair the problem. The manager and our salesperson Jordon both told my husband and myself call anytime we are here to help. The manager has never returned a call or replied to an email. The salesperson had never replied either until I called his cell phone 4 times on a Sunday, because I was locked out of the car...Again! Only to be told he's sorry there is nothing he can do on his end, to call roadside. Very hard to go to work when you go out in the morning and the car won't unlock. Sad to spend over $40,000 on a brand new car and you can not depend on dealership or the car. If I could I would have given a negative-zero rating, but this review site made me click a star to post. I think the Kia car and dealership are probably very good if you don't have problems.

I just can't say enough about how much Chris Brinley and Kyle Robinson helped me get a new car. Over a period of nearly two months Chris helped me navigate a very difficult set of circumstances in order to get a new car after mine was totaled. Through the entire process he did everything within his power to do whatever he could to help me, including sending me numerous emails in which he told me to 'not worry'. He was right. I am now the proud owner of a 2016 Kia Soul. (This is my second Soul and I highly recommend them!) Kyle was extremely generous with his time and stayed well after the dealership closed on 12/23 to make sure that we understood all of the features of our new car. One of the vehicles windshields cracked shortly after getting the cars, they replaced at no cost to us. Fantastic Basex on my experience with the twins' purchase, I came back to when it was time to replace my Chrysler 200...the 2017 Sorento worked well. Still waiting on the WE OWE since I am accustomed to features like remote start, but Justin and Jordan are supported by a great team.

I had an awesome experience at Jim Butler Kia yesterday! I was a referral and stopped in during my lunch break, came back after work, and left last night with the car that I wanted. Long story short the car I had previous to stepping foot inside this dealership was stolen about a month ago, and we all know that process can take forever. Jim Butler Kia was extremely helpful, especially the finance manager, Donny. He has a Women's Choice Award! It's never easy going into a dealership alone as a woman and I left last night with my purchase feeling like I got the best bang for my buck. My sales rep was Brian who was also extremely helpful too - he picked the car out that I would have picked myself! I will most definitely be going back for future cars.

When I got there the service department was extremely busy. But they pulled the car in before I was done giving Carly ( the service advisor) all my info. They did the warranty work I requested without trying to pressure me into doing anything else. The waiting room had my favorite chocolate muffins and free Wi-Fi. I couldn't ask for anything to be better and I am fairly picky so it's rare for a place to meet my expectations 100 percent. I've always been a Butler fan and now even more so. Thank you for the great experience and slightly restoring my confidence in the dealer service department.

This review should say a lot because we didn't even purchase a vehicle from Jim Butler Kia. Our reason for not buying the Kia Sorento was due to the size and absolutely nothing else. The service we received from Kenny Noel and Cheryl Cooper was outstanding. We test drove at the dealership and went home to think about it. We decided that the trim level of the car was too much. So we called Kenny and Cheryl and told them we wanted to see another car, but that we didn't have time to get to the dealership for a few days. They did not hesitate to tell us they would bring one to our house and let us drive it for the weekend! The pricing was spot on and the service was even better...just wish they made a bigger vehicle. I like the dealership / sales team fine. I've purchased two vehicles here. I had debated leaving a review or not, because I wasn't overly thrilled with my last experience, and I hope it isn't a common situation at the dealership. That being said, I would strongly encourage anyone that reads this to go do the dealership with your own financing in hand. My recent purchase was a textbook example of what you read about on the, "how not to overpay at the dealership" posts. It's fixed now, I just went to my own bank after the fact, but the finance guy that initially did my loan seems to have made my rate so that the payment would match what was in the box on the offer sheet. It was almost 3.5 points higher than what I'm getting through State Farm. The dealership is fine. Just, please, whatever you do... do not let them control your financing.

Jordan K and Terry B in sales are awesome. Come to talk every time I'm there. Keith in service is my go to guy, but everyone I've talked to has been incredibly nice. If you talk to any of them, tell them Greg P says"Hi!". Super happy I chose them to buy through. Only down side is a"quick car wash" if dropping in to get one (lifetime free washes) is about a 30 minute deal. Never been on a first name basis with so many dealership employees before. Easily the nicest dealership I've dealt with!

I have taken my wife's Kia, my Toyota (a classic and my baby), and now my dads Toyota there for service exclusively for probably 6 or 7 years now. Anyways, they continue to impress me every time. Keith, Matt and all the service guys are awesome. The mechanics/techs there are the real deal as well which is crucial. Keith Sutton in service just particularly impressed me this latest time and I wanted to voice my satisfaction and appreciation. Everyone always belly aches about dealership service but rest assured if you have a problem at Butler Kia, its your fault. Just walked out of Jim Butler Kia! Had the worst experience horrible sales service. Spoke to a sale man named Terry on the phone, inquired about a vehicle that had listed on the internet. He told me they had just got it and it was still in the detail shop . Mind you it was so new to their invatory he wasn't even aware that they had the vehicle. He then asked if he could call me back, so that he could make sure they had it and it was still available for sale. He called me back and told me it was in the detail shop that it would be out of detail shop at 4:30 to come up then and ask to speak to Terry. My husband and I got there at 4:20, to our shock Terry was unavailable due to he was already on a test drive. So my husband and I sat there for a good 45mins. To then find out that Terry had been back for his test drive he was on with another couple, the MESSED up part about it was he was on a test drive in the SAME vehicle he told us would not be out of the detail shop until 4:30. When we found out from another sale man that Terry was working with that couple and that they working up papers for purchase. So aggravated, hour round trip, gas, and our time.... for what???? Would not recommend Jim Butler Kia to anyone and will not being doing business with them... Update: Regarding to the response Jim Bulter Kia... Terry took down my name and number when I had called, the first time to inquire about the vehicle.... Please reread my original post. He had no idea about this vehicle even being in your inventory, he wanted to make sure you had it and it was still available. So he told down my name and number to go check and that he would call me back, which he did. And when he called me back he told me that the vehicle was in the detail shop and that it would not be out until 4:30, that's when he told me to come up and that the vehicle would be available to be seen. So....

Have to admit the sales person did everything he could to get me in the style truck I wanted. Unfortunately the truck I purchased hasn't been so great. The truck i purchased wasn't at all what they advertised. Even with the false advertising I still liked the truck because it still fit my needs. Within the first 30 days it was taken back to Jim Butlers because the transmission was acting up at Hywy speeds. After a few days they told me they couldn't find anything wrong. So I kept driving it thinking it might just be a Chevy thing. The problem continued and 2 months later a check engine light came on so the last week of my warranty the truck was back at Jim Butlers. They had it for 5 days put over 100 miles on the truck and since they couldn't get the light to come back on or find anything wrong with the transmission there was nothing they could do. Well 2 days after getting the truck back and the warranty expired while they had it in there shop the light came back on. I called Jim Butler about the light coming back on and the responce I got was I need to pay for diagnostic to find what's wrong. This all happened within 3 months. I took it to a small shop and it had a small vacuum leak. Was able to get that fixed fairly cheap but 9 moths after buying the truck here I am replacing a transmission. Have been told several times that a manger will call me back and I have yet to hear from anybody. I feel like You are only a customer of Jim Butlers while they are trying to get you into a car but after that your on your own.

I was told that they could help me into a nice car in spite of financial problems. I got all the necessary paperwork together including the down payment after picking out a vehicle. I called yesterday morning to verify my appointment and was told there were no problems and he would see me at the 2:15. I arrived at 2, called his cell and let him know I was early. He said he was at lunch and for me to go in and wait. Well I WAITED until 2:45. When he came in he informed me that my downpayment went from 800.00 to 6000.00 unless I would take a smaller (which I didn't want because of physical challenges) and very high mileage. He said he was trying to figure something out. I sat in the office for another 30 minutes waiting for him to come back in and tell me what was going on I finally had to call his cell and tell him I had to leave because my ride had to go. No, not his fault that I have financial problems but the absolute worst customer service I have ever had.

We bought a 2013 Kia Sorento in 2012. It was a good experience. We needed a car with a back seat that reclined so we could transport our son from one hospital to another 5 hours away and the Sorento worked out. The salesman was very sympathetic and helpful. So when my daughter needed a new car almost 2 yrs ago, we went to Butler and asked for the same salesman. She bought a Soul. Another good experience. We had first gone to Kia near my house in St Peters, where they were very pushy, and then went to see if Butler had a better price. Of course, they did and the salesperson was not pushy, just like he wasn't on our first purchase. My daughter was trying to stay somewhat basic to keep the price down. A car that matched would have had to be delivered from another dealer a few days later. So instead of that we came to a compromise buying one with a few more options, and she drove it off the lot. We both love our Kias. We usually have good experience getting service. I've had one bad experience when I remarked to the service manager that my car was messy. He answered in a rude tone that yes, it was. Not what I expected. I admit my car is usually dusty inside and the carpet usually needs vacuumed, and may be full of necessary items, (plus a coyote ran in front of me and bent the front of the car so that is not pretty any more) but at least I remove any trash. Between my son with a severe brain injury and a husband that was deathly ill, waiting for a liver transplant, my car appearance was low priority, and still is. I just think the service manager should not judge people because you never know what they are going through. Well, maybe he was just having a bad day too so I should follow my own advice. :)

I absolutely have the right dealership. My personal info isn’t on the internet so this is not my name. But I can assure you, Jim Butler Kia in Chesterfield has been nothing but a pain in the butt for me to deal with. Calls and emails went unreturned for over a month. I was making all the effort with no response and I had to extend my lease because Justin, the financial manager was always “such a busy guy”. I sent in every bit of paperwork they requested MULTIPLE times to multiple people at the dealership and never had a response. I was told different things by the dealership vs. Kia Motors Finance. It was a pain...So much time wasted on the phone. Unless you’re buying a car or starting a lease, even if you have been leasing with them for the last 4 years, you are not a valued customer. End of story.

I got an email, text and phone call within 2 hours of leaving, and then a follow up phone call along with text. I guess they say the butler service should harass potential buyers. First experience was with the service department to take care of some recalls on my vehicle (a Kia purchased elsewhere) - was pleased with the service, despite some lack of communication about when my car would be ready for pickup. However, today I called to get a price for new tires and the parts department representative couldn't have been less helpful. I was told that I had to have the tire numbers to give him since it wasn't purchased there. I'm pretty sure there's a system to look them up with my year/make/model info, which is exactly what the next three places I called for pricing did. Instead he asked me to find it - I can definitely Google an answer, but I'm sorry, but if your reps aren't willing or able to help someone trying to give you business, I'll be going somewhere else.

This was my first visit to the Chesterfield Jim Butler Kia and I found their staff to be very friendly and helpful. They listened to what we thought was an impossible financial scenario and they got us a deal! We traded in a 2008 Ford Focus for a 2013 Kia Soul base model. They let me pick out my desired vehicle and drive it while my car was being serviced. By the time my vehicle was ready for pick up, a trade in analysis was complete and the purchase docs for my new car were ready to sign. Also, Jim Butler Kia owes me money still. So yes I will be contacting the dealer, but not the entry level social media person below. Updated 4 years later, the service department is horrendous to deal with. Never a good experience. They changed the process to have unknowledgeable people answering the phones, which should give the mechanics more time to work but really just adds an unnecessary layer in the process and causes confusion. Then when u finally talk to a mechanic, they have a cross attitude because they have to be on the phone... no thanks, never again with this place.

Let me explain...We had the worst experience with the sales person named John Williams. He was very impatient with us, rude and inconsiderate.
