Purchased a new 16 GTI. It had to be brought in from Mobile as it was the closest of the spec I wanted. Windshield was cracked and replaced with an inferior non-oem glass. Car was also delivered to me with a scuff on the rear bumper that went unnoticed during pick up since the sunlight was so bright. Dealership refused to correct the damaged car they sold me. Would not recommend doing business.

Great service, and such nice people! Mr. Moses and SO many other people I have met there are truly wonderful, but there appears to be a bit of a problem in the parts department. On two different occasions I contacted the parts department to order something, first a key to replace one that was lost, then a tire. Both times I was told I would get a call when the items came in, and both times I waited a number of days more than I was told the item would take to come in before I called the department myself, only to be told that there were no records of items I had asked to be ordered. Because Mr. Moses is so kind and helpful, I plan to continue to get my oil changes and other work done on my Jetta at Volkswagen of Jackson; I just hope they won't have to order any parts or equipment!

WOW! I just read a review given by "Director Marlon Green" incredulous was my initial reaction. Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of working with Caroline Snow either as customer or co-working will quickly find out that customer satisfaction is #1 in every decision, every transaction with her. The review given by "Marlon Green" was unprofessional and mean spirited. His review should have been directed to warranty service. Therefore, its very clear to me that this is a personal attack which takes away from the integrity and usefulness of reviews in general. I encourage anyone who's looking for a new/used Volkwagen or any other Ritchey Automotive Products please ask for Caroline Snow.

First let me say that everyone I encountered with VW service was very polite and nice. I made an appointment for a recall on my 2009 Rabbit. I was told it would take about 45 minutes but I also told them that I wanted the freon checked and a leak of some type. I arrived at my appointed time, 11:00 and 2 hours later I was still waiting to be told anything. A friend picked me up at 1:30 and I was told by Mr. Moses that he would call me with an estimate if there were any needed repairs. I arrived back at the shop at 3:30 and was told I needed a new AC compressor ($1,400) and another part ($700.00)! My car has 55,000 miles on it. When I asked Mr. Moses why a compressor would need to be replaced with such low mileage, he told me they could go bad at 10,000 or 30,000 miles. Also, he was not able to thoroughly explain the other problem in a way that I could understand. At one point he said I would have to get the repairs done, which sounded like he wanted me to consider buying a new VW. I declined to have the repairs done and paid $118.00 for the diagnostic procedure. I finally drove away at 4:00. I was very disappointed with what I was told and will not return to Jackson Imports again. As I drove away in my freshly washed Rabbit and turned on the AC, it was colder than it had ever been and is still blowing cold air!! After all, I had only asked them to check the freon level. Apparently they added freon and my compressor isn't bad!!

The best dealership I have ever been too. Caroline Snow was my sales person i absolutely love her. When i tell you she will not let you leave without a car and it will be something that you love and she will also work with you on your down payment and getting your notes where YOU want them to be. I'm noticing a trend with Volkswagen that they're fine with giving horrible customer service, which should be the easiest part of their job. After you've purchased a vehicle they must have the receptionist trained to send calls to their black hole of a voicemail because the manager can't be bothered to answer the phone for one minute to answer a yes or no question. My wife loves my new Jetta Wolfsburg Edition so much she's been considering trading her Jeep in for a Golf GTI or R but THREE weeks of being given the run around on something simple has made both of us likely to go with another brand for our next upgrades. Also, when the salesman comes back from the finance manager with your apr, double check it because what they put in the paperwork before you sign is liable to be higher.

First of all, Caroline Snow is a wonderful saleswoman and deserves a wonderful review for her kind attitude, hard work, and obvious desire to make a deal with us without being the generic pushy salesperson. The sales manager, however, was less than satisfactory--to put it kindly. We went to Volkswagen Jackson looking to purchase a beetle, and Caroline quickly approached us, kindly asking if we needed any help. After spending a lot of time with us, she spoke with the sales manager to talk about money. After she told us he would come speak with us, we waited a long time, and decided to approach him in his office. He was playing on his phone, and failed to introduce himself to us. A few days later, we went back, prepared to write a check for a beetle they could ship in from Memphis the next day. The sales manager said that he would pay the fee for the car's trip down here. We haggled, and ended up only $800 apart. He wouldn't speak to us directly, and he sat in his office waving his hands, screaming "No mas!" A few days later, Caroline called and I came up $800 to match his offer. He promptly added $500, saying that he would no longer absorb the delivery fee, which he promised days earlier. I had been in touch with Caroline every day for over a week. She worked hard and deserved the sale; earned the sale. Unfortunately, Hank Lambert (we had to look his name up online) made this such a poisonous experience that we drove to Little Rock to purchase the vehicle we wanted. Caroline actually sold us on the beetle and earned Volkswagen our business. Regrettably, Hank was so unwilling to work with us, that Caroline lost a sale she deserved that went straight to a salesman in Little Rock who didn't have to anything but paperwork. We had such a pleasant experience with North Point that the 5 hour drive was worth it in order not to have to deal with Hank. The first time I called North Point, the sales manager immediately started working with me, offering me the exact price I offered Jackson. Sadly for Volkswagen, Hank Lambert is causing the dealership to lose sales and causing the salespeople to lose their sales as well. I have bought a car from this dealership in the recent past, but I can promise you that it will be my last. Hank certainly will not earn my future business.

Very friendly and professional staff and service. Mr. Haywood Moses took great care of us and made the experience painless. If your VW needs work, take it to him. Needed to have some work done on the A/C on our 2012 Jetta that we bought used at a different dealership so I made a call and set up an appointment. Got there an hour early and Mr. Haywood Moses got our car in right away to check it out. They discovered the problem and also found that there was a factory recall that needs to taken care of. All the staff were friendly and although we had a long day, it was fine because there was snacks and fresh coffee.

I didn't have the key for the wheel locking lug on each wheel of my wife's Beetle, I called and asked the SERVICE MANAGER if they could zip them out for me (a 15 second job) so I could replace them with regular lugs and he replied "It will take an hour to do this job". They told me the service dept closes at 6 so I drove over an hour to get there by 5:05, then this same SERVICE MANAGER says "Sorry I can't help you because the service techs left at 5 and all tools are locked up till tomorrow, but yes the service department is still open". So after I explained how stupid he just sounded, I was on my way to my car and a car salesman asked if he could help me....Well to make this long story a little shorter, five minutes later I had those lugs removed and was happily on my way home! Thank you William "Big Will" Scott, a true gentleman and people person! But your SERVICE MANAGER gets a thumbs down and gives Volkswagen of Jackson a "BIG BLACK EYE"!

I've been working with Caroline Snow b Acqacwi for a little over two years in an upcoming purchase of a Volkswagen. I asked her to let me know when the new three row Tiguan would be coming to market. I have been interested in that vehicle since friends of ours in Memphis but one of the older body style with the panorama sunroof. Seating for seven is an option my family is growing to require. When she called me last year about the VW Atlas, I became in chanted with your "launch" edition. When her dealership finally offered me the chance to drive the 2 L TSI I was quite smitten. These are the criteria that make the atlas the perfect vehicle for me : 1: Spare tire is stowed within the cabin 2: The panorama sunroof 3: More luggage area than Honda pilot 4: Easier entry into third row Why am I buying the Honda pilot? They (Patty Peck) provide at no additional cost and Allstate insurance policy that provides unlimited mileage coverage of the powertrain and drivetrain. I put 40,000 miles a year on my car. I buy a car once every decade. Caroline has been a faithful sales person, knowledgeable and patient with me through this period of discernment. She's not an ordinary sales person, she has done her best to earn my business. The only reason I'm not buying a car from her, (from you) is because y'all do not see the value in such an insurance policy to "lubricate" the sale to a willing buyer. Please reconsider your business model.

Horrible experience with the service department. Used Volkswagen Roadside Assistance to have my Routan towed, and it turned out to be a dead battery. The airbag light would go off and on on turns, so I asked them to check that while they had it. It took a FULL WEEK for them to diagnose the dead battery, and they had forgotten about the airbag light. The service manager said they were trying to get better help, which they apparently need. The service writer, Haywood, said they are just too busy. I've owned 9 Volkswagens now, and I've used dealers in Downtown Los Angeles, Birmingham, and Las Vegas. I can assure you that they are busier than this man was and it was a lot faster. I wrote a letter to the general manager with my concerns and never heard back. I am a Volkswagen guy, and always will be. Saying that, I would push my broken down VW to Memphis rather than use the Jackson dealer again. Yet another reason to not conduct any kind of business whatsoever inside the city limits of Jackson, Mississippi. Horrible experience that was exacerbated by horrible service.

So I visited Jackson Volkswagen for the 4th time and now more than likely my last. The salespeople there have no manners for each other or customers. I was ignored the first two times I visited and when finally meeting a salesman whom I worked with in the past they were interrupted by another salesman who was determined to have them stop showing me a vehicle. I am sure you all made more than ONE even if the vehicle was not for sale!!

If i could give a negative star i would, so how is that for "my experience". I'm not sure how in the heck this dealership has an average of 4.1 stars at this time. Obviously these particular customers did not work with Haywood L Moses in the service department. Service department advisor is to full of himself to assist customers properly. The shop rates are absolutely ridiculous! They actually expect a customer to pay more for service than the actual car is worth. I purchased a used 2012 VW CC Sport from this dealership in 2013. This car has been an absolute lemon from day one! I planned on purchasing a new Range Rover Evoque however I definitely will be making this purchase elsewhere Thanks to Mr Haywood.

Do not take your VW to this dealer for service. Drove over 100 miles to get car serviced. They kept it 2 weeks, charged over $600 to repair and before we were home, same problem that they claimed to have fixed. Called and sent email but they never responded.

My was at their shop for 2 1/2 months. To save money they let a mechanic drive it home to diagnose it. I had no idea until after. They entire time they had us in a rental or a loaner. We got to drive like 4 different cars during that time. Volkswagen worked with us to get things done. As I am a vw enthusiast. I will never give up on vw. But ritchey auto has a some management issues.

I brought by my car in to have a check engine light looked at on Thursday. The car is running perfectly fine, just wanted to make sure I don't have any issues. I was told they'd be able to have a look at it by friday. In the mean time I got a rental to get me through the day. Friday rolls around and I was told they haven't gotten to it. I was perfectly happy to wait until Saturday. On Saturday I was told that I'd have to wait until monday because they still haven't gotten to it. They were kind enough to offer to pay for the rental through Monday. I called again Monday morning only to be told that it hasn't been looked at. Tuesday morning and they still haven't looked into it, a simple check engine light. Their reasoning for the slow service was that one of their techs had just quit. Anyways, I decided I can't afford to have my car just sitting their. Told them I'll be in to pick up my car shortly. Ended up with a bill for 300 on the rental, with an additional 100 paid for by the dealership. Essentially paid 300 bucks for parking at the Volkswagen Jackson Dealership when it was brought in to analyze a simple check engine light. If you have a car that needs servicing I'd suggest going to another place, unless you don't mind having your car sit at the dealer untouched for days on end. One positive note, the service advisor I had was nice but this is the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership.

Volkswagen was the first car lot I have EVER been on . I am a college student that was seeking for a new ride . My parents recommended Volkswagen because they had a big event coming up soon . I participated in the $79 event on Saturday April 22nd and everything was just fine . I was there from 6am-12:20pm. I had to go to work at one o'clock , so I was trying to speed up the process. They ran my credit, had me pay for insurance on the vehicle I chose, and I signed forms. I was told everything was great and the financial process is what was taking so long. After about another five minutes , I told them I had to leave for work and I was PROMISED that my car would be ready for pickup on April 24th. I walked in on April 24th and sat down for almost fifteen minutes only to find out they had sold my car to someone else . The financial person came out of the office and was very rude to my parents and I about the situation. I would of never expected my first time buying experience to be so horrific. I would not recommend ANYONE to give any money to Volkswagen of Jackson .

I needed new rear brakes. I had to wait 5 days to be able to make an appointment. I also had to have my intake manifold repaired (warranty). The parts didn't come in so I had a rental for 2 days and a VW loaner for 5 days. I do not live in Jackson, so going back and forth is difficult. The car was repaired well, I was taken care of as far as having a vehicle, and Mr. Moses did a great job keeping me informed.

Avoid this dealership. In February, I took my Tiguan in for a waterleak and via CarNet, I caught a technician at lunch with my car for over an hour. When confronted with screenshots, the General Manager accepted responsibility but insisted it wasn't a big deal which leads me to believe this is a common practice at this dealership. He would only offer a half tank of gas and an oil change and implied that's more than I deserved. Furthemore, he belitted my situation and accused me of only attempting to get free stuff. This dealer has high prices, pointless shop fees, and clearly doesn't seem concerned about keeping their customers. I recommend driving the distance to go to another dealership before trying your luck here.

This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. After speaking with them for several days on purchasing a particular vehicle and having financing approved I drove almost 8hrs to finish the deal and pick up the car. I arrived at lunch expecting to see and drive the car, I was given the run around for several hours even went so far as signing the paperwork before seeing the car. The car was still not ready to deliver when I drove off the lot, dents in the roof, sunvisor broken, rock chips to hood This type of business is unacceptable so proceed with caution when dealing with these people as they proceeded to lie about an option on the car that was on the sticker but was not installed on the car. I gave them every opportunity to make an honest deal with me and they failed. My previous experience with VW is what sold me the car not the people of Jackson VW, I will be fixing the items that are damaged myself. I was in a hurry as I had other business to attend to back home and they used it to their advantage to take ownership of the car without it being ready to deliver. Sorry Jackson VW but consumers deserve more respect than that!

After having my '02 VW in your shop twice from Aug. 2014 to now, May 2015 it still isn't running. I brought it home, it was running fine, it died and will not crank. I have called your service manager, Ben Williams, repeatedly, he will not answer or return my calls. It is my opinion that he is very inefficient. I have had the computer replaced due to being told my car lost its program the first time it was in your shop. The last time I was told the cluster had gone out and that was replaced. Had my vehicle up there 4 times in the past 5 months for the epc light. First they replaced the throttle body, then the tps sensor, then they had to replace a faulty part, then had to take it back because the technician "forgot" to put grease on the part. They charged a $130 for their flub up. They have had it a week, and claimed it wasn't coming on. Drove it home and didn't make it to airport rd before it came back on plus the check engine light. Their technicians are only good for oil changes. Ive spent well over $1,600 and they have had my car and they have had my car for at least 1 month since April. I will never take my vehicle back to them

With all the media attention to Volkswagen over the last few months regarding the diesel issue, a lot of people forget that they make some truly wonderful automobiles. The dealers are not at fault over this issue and are truly interested in earning your business. I found THE car I wanted on Volkswagen of Jackson's website and went there last week to buy. I was met at the door by Caroline who was a gem. A very nice lady with a world of knowledge on the car I was interested in, especially all the new electronic packages. Start to finish in less than 4 hours: got the price I wanted on my GTI, the trade-in figure I thought was fair, and an interest rate that was perfect. If you have even remotely considered getting a new car, NOW is the time to visit a VW dealer, and I highly recommend VW of Jackson if you are close to this area. I had a recall on my 2012 vw passat springpin in the airbag and as they service it they notice another recall about my front headlights system....? Everything came out ok I drove not even 15mins away and device pop up on my dash reading check.... drove back to find out they hadn't plug up the connections tightly. Ummmmmmm. Also was offer a shuttle on the phone pior but when my husband and I arrive it wasn't available. A 3 hour wait. The salesman Marlow made this visit well worth it. I give him a ten!!!!! He explained everything perfectly. He's funny happy and great at his job. In near future we will return just for him to be our salesman. Overall service is great.

I just leased a new VW Golf R here with Caroline Snow, and it has been a great experience top to bottom. Originally I was looking to buy a low mileage 2017 or 2016 which had put me on a nationwide search for a vehicle with the features I was looking for. After weeks of talking with other dealers and seeing this listing for the new one, I finally called just to hear what they would do on the price. From the very beginning of the call one of the sales managers, Abe, made it clear they were trying to earn my business and make the process easy for me – not something any of the other dealerships had done. About a week later I called them back and decided that I would rather take their newer, slightly more expensive vehicle to have the better buying experience of working with them. And again looking to earn my business, one of the sales managers spent about an hour on the phone with me explaining how the lease structure works, as I had never previously leased vehicle. The next day I flew from Houston to Jackson to pick up the car and they offer to pick me up from the airport - again sincere hospitality aimed at earning my business. The car was even better than I expected. Top to bottom, I would absolutely recommend this dealership and working with this VW sales team. I buy a different car every couple of years and this was one of the best buying experiences I can remember! Thank you!

I am very short and hard to fit into a car to drive. I looked at the Jetta and I found it could be adjusted to sit my body. The steering has very little play in it. This I have to work on due to my Park Avenue steering. My representative was extremely helpful. He showed me how to adjust all the little gadgets. I got a 2013 model, Jetta CC sedan. There's plenty of room in the back for people to sit and be comfortable. The only thing that I'm disappointed with is no cup holders in the doors. They're simply just not enough cup holders and I'm going to find a way to solve it. LOL. And figured that one out yet.
