We drove an hour to check out a 2013 Camry that was at least a couple thousand cheaper than the others out there. Alton came out and greeted us as usual then just stayed back and let the car sell itself! From the moment I walked in the door of the dealership, I was treated with professionalism and respect. I had already done a search for the vehicle I was purchasing for my son and found just what I was looking for with a price that was well below similar vehicles. Hayden worked with me and was very easy to deal with. The vehicle was pristine and one could tell they pride themselves on only having solid cars on the lot. Before I drove it off, Hayden actually was touching up a couple of very minor scratches and filled the gas tank for me. I would highly recommend Smith Motors to anyone looking to buy a vehicle and experience the great customer service they afford.

I found the 4runner I wanted online and drove from Mobile to Hattiesburg to meet Mr. Kieth at Smith Motor Company. Within three hours, I had a super great vehicle, at a great price, a good trade in value, local financing at a low interest rate and an extended warranty to boot! We are now looking at one of his Town and Country vans as a second vehicle. I trust these folks. It is truly a family run business and really worth the 2 hour drive from Mobile.

One of the most hassel-free purchases of a motor vehicle that I've ever done. Smith Motor Co. is one of the few pre-owned dealers that I know of that provide a 60-day warranty on their used vehicles. Thank goodness! We're from out-of-state and upon our return home to Florida, we had issues with our 2008 Titan running rough every day. We contacted Keith at Smith Motor Co. and without hesitation, he apologized and advised us to take it to our nearest Nissan dealer. After extensive troubleshooting, Hampton Nissan in Ft. Walton Beach determined that our truck needed the engine replaced. Keith coordinated with me and Hampton Nissan and ultimately paid for the replacement of our engine with no hassels. I cannot say enough good things about this dealership and would highly recommend them to anyone. I feel that they went over and beyond in their efforts to satisfy us as a customer. Great people! The price online says includes freight and batteries!!! What a joke drove from Mobile and it was almost 2000 more then online! Went and purchased from a Marine dealer not a USED CAR LOT! They try the used car stuff on boats will not work long! Good luck if you chose them!

When you call the prices go up their advertising one price online but when contacted the prices go up thousands then I talked to owner and he tried to tell me he wouldnt charge me freight fee, prep fee,and batteries when it clearly says on their website all that is included in online advertised price that they wouldn't stand behind to begin with when I called I just don't understand how people like this sleep at night

I have purchased two vehicles from Smith Motor Company over the past three years, and I will continue to do business with them. The first vehicle was a Ford F150. After driving it for around a week, I noticed it had some slipping issues. I took it back to them, and they honored their warranty to fix it. They replaced the transmission and solved the problem. Several months later, it felt like it was tearing up again. They investigated it and figured out that I had a plug broken off within the engine. They were able to get it out without tearing the engine apart and were very reasonable on the service fee. I haven't had any problems out of the truck since then, and I've driven it for around 3 years now. It's quite refreshing to deal with car dealers that aren't only out to make a dollar. I just bought a minivan last week and traded in my Armada. My Armada was starting to give me mechanical problems so I let them know up front. They didn't give me much on my trade-in, but again it did have issues. They said that they were just going to send it to the auto auction to sell wholesale and get their money back. This is so much better than those that would just try to patch it up and resell it with problems to an unsuspecting buyer. What I liked about the process, is that the vehicle was priced good up front so that I didn't have to waste hours trying to haggle and negotiate. They have some of the lowest advertised prices in the area. They wouldn't negotiate on the price, but they were willing to help me out with some of my other requests. The tires on the van that I liked were a good bit more worn more than the tires on a different colored van beside it. They sweetened the deal for me by swapping the tires. It took less than 2 hours from the time that I pulled up to the time that I pulled away in my new vehicle. That was impressive considering that I did my financing while I was there. I will definitely do business with Smith Motor Company again. Give them a chance if you haven't. They are good people to deal with.

BOAT REVIEW - After doing research for a new Tri-toon we decided on a Veranda because of the decking. We contacted the company and ordered a catalog and went to work picking out our boat. Once we decided on our boat we visited several dealers in Louisiana and Mississippi. All of them gave us their BEST price. Let me tell you the truth that Keith and Hayden beat them all easily with their quote. They kept us updated with the building process and I even received calls from Veranda with updates. When we picked up our boat up it could not have gone even smoother. The paperwork was ready and every question answered. I have told friends and will continue will do so, if you are in the market do yourself a favor and go to Smith Motors and just give them an opportunity to earn your business.

This was the first time I have purchased an out of state vehicle. I was very interested in a specific truck but was hesitant to purchase without being able to test drive the 2008 F150 . Alton was the name of the sales manager and he assisted me with the sale from start to finish. I would recommend this dealer to anyone. Alton was able to help me stay within my budget and allowed me 24 hours to evaluate the trucks condition upon receiving the truck- which had been shipped to me. Giving everybody a heads up on Smith motors because of the problems that my dad has been having with his 2010 ram truck that has been paying around 30,000 which is way over priced and been giving him problems since he got it from Smith motors.... I would not recommend them to anybody at all
