I am so disappointed with Ritchey. I purchased my dream car in good faith at this car dealership thinking they would stand by their vehicles. When I purchased my car I was unaware that it had illegal head lights that caused me to receive a ticket in Florence. I contacted the dealership explaining my situation and informed them that I needed a letter stating that I was unaware and so were they to present in court today, but the manager sent a letter only stating that they disconnected the lights per my request, which is false, I asked for them to be removed with a letter stating such. The judge today would not accept the letter which means I got another court date for May. I took the car in the day after I got the ticket expecting them to remove the lights but instead they only disconnected the lights along with my reverse camera. I also informed them that the car needed an alignment but to only be told that the machine was not working and that I can take it some where else and pay myself. I told the young lady to call me when the machine is back running and a floater available because I have to work and cannot be without a vehicle at this time. She said she would and now its 3 weeks later and still no call. I am so so so disappointed and it seems that I will have to get my lawyer involved since I can't get any cooperation to get a letter to avoid a ticket that is not my fault nor can I get my car fix as they promised when I purchase the vehicle.

I purchased a vehicle in May from a sales person by the name of Patricia. She seemed to be a caring and nice sales person in the beginning just before getting your sales to go thru. The car sun glass holder light and floor mat was missing out of the car she told me that she would handle that and make sure that it get fixed being that I was buying a car. She is most definitely not a woman of her word. After the sale has went thru she could not do anything about it which was so wrong because she told me that she would get the guys to fix it. Brakes were suppose to be done on my car and they are squeaking so load you would think i had they 3 years. Long story short nothing was done like she was suppose to do but new tires. She also lied about the referral program stating that everybody I send to her she would give me a check for 100.00 well that was a LIE as well because I referred someone who purchased a car from her and she told me they stop doing it but offered my friend the same program that she would pay 100.00 for each person we send to her that obviously was a bold face lie. I hate when i feel like people are trying to get over once there sale has went thru. It’s poor business and I need everyone to pay attention and not buy a car from this scam artist Patricia at go Richey on 1-55. Please be aware!!!!! She only wants the sale and not worry about the person and the vehicle.

This is an update on my experience with Ritchey. The check engine light came on the same night that I purchased the vehicle. Its been almost 2 months and I've paid a note and insurance on a truck that I do not have. They've made me several promises that the truck would be ready on certain days and it never was. Week after WEEK of lies! I was told that the service manager that I was dealing with was fired and that the mechanic suddenly had to have emergency surgery so my truck wasn't being worked on. My calls were never returned. The receptionist told me that if I wanted to speak with someone I needed to come in person because the service people were all too busy to take my call. After showing up in person several times a week someone eventually said that they could swap out the vehicle and put me in something else. I asked that the contract be canceled but they have refused to do so. Every week I'm being told that new trucks will arrive and that I could pick one out. I've told them exactly what I wanted. Every time that I show up on the days that they tell me to come, there are never any vehicles. At least not any that they are willing to give me. THEY DONT WANT TO LOSE ANY MONEY! I was put in a loaner and one of the employees told me, "at least you have transportation to get around so there's no reason to be upset." I would never pay money for something that I do not want!! I've been jerked around by this dealer and I would never recommend them! This has been the worst car buying experience EVER! I wish I could give them 0 stars. UPDATE‼️ It has been 4 months since I wrote this review. The day after it posted the sales manager started blowing my phone up. They promised me that they would make it right. In May, they placed me in a vehicle equivalent to the one that I purchased. I was told that the finance company wanted the original vehicle paid off before they would finance the second one. I was told that they were buying out the original contract and that I could do paperwork on the second vehicle after it was settled. I constantly asked day after day and week after week for updates and if the first vehicle had been paid for. They never paid off the original loan and it has now been almost 3 months since I was told that they would. The finance company has repossessed the vehicle from the dealership. The sales manager that I was dealing with no longer works there and they’re treating me as if I made everything that I’ve been told up. Even though I have text messages from him that supports what I’m saying. Jason Brown took the new position of the person that I was dealing with. He called me 2 week ago very hostile stating that if I didn’t bring the truck back that he would call and report it stolen. He lied and said that they’ve been looking for it and that I wouldn’t give it back. Even though they know where I live and work. So if that was the case they couldn’t picked it up at any time!! I immediately left work and headed to the dealership. After I walked into the building, they started using other vehicles to block the truck in so that I would t leave with it. They told me that they would put me in Nissan Altima with 3500 down. Well I purchased a Range Rover. It’s not fair to ask me to pay another down payment and for a vehicle that’s nothing close to the one I originally was approved for. I spoke with the general manager Taylor Wondries who told me that he would call me the next day to come up with a solution. Of course that never happened! My credit report now shows a repo and it will cost thousands for me to get into something else. Now I have a balance due on a truck that I never had that’s due to the finance company. I’ve consulted with an attorney and my next step is to notify every manufacturer that they deal with to explain how customers are being treated at this dealership. I’m sure Land Rover wouldn’t want to be associated with this type of business. I’m contacting Audi, jaguar and Volkswagen as well to explain to them how I’ve been treated.

The term “Service after the Sale” doesn’t apply to these guys. YES the Sales Guys are great, however if you’re wanting a “One Stop Shop”, this is not it. My friend purchased a vehicle from the Jackson location, and had only driven the car 3 days after having it in their shop for over a week for a broken headlight bulb! YES! A FRIGGING HEADLIGHT BULB! Once she returned to get the car, guess what happened? THEY LOST THE CAR! “All the King’s Horses and All The King’s men spent 30 mins looking for the car only to find it being washed. Which ALSO tells me they didn’t start on ANYTHING until 30 mins ago! The Sales People? Awesome! Just like a Good Waiter in a Restaurant,! However at the end of the day... you blame the Cook (Service Dept) for having a “Bad taste in your mouth!” PLEASE do your research! You’re not only investing in a nice vehicle, but you’re also investing your family’s lives while on your Road Trips!

Went in on the day of my daughter's high school graduation at 8am. My car was not released to me until after 5pm of which she had a 6pm time to be at her graduation. Needless to say I was unable to get her ready, unable to take pictures and also late arriving to my daughter's graduation. So.... I went in for an oil change. Well I can handle the fact my time wasn't respected, but I don't appreciate my services not being completed correctly. My car was not washed after I asked several times. My fluid levels were not checked due to the fact that 1 week later the add windshield washer fluid message started showing in my message center. Then when I attempted to reach Larry the service manager and the GM, I was unsuccessful. I called and left several messages, even one day continuously called, and to further disregard my attempts, the operator stopped answering the phone. I even called Jaguar USA, and have yet to hear from anyone. HORRID EXPERIENCE... I'm in search of a new brand of car being this is the only place in my area to be serviced and I refuse to spend another penny at this establishment. I have know desire to do business where my business isn't valued or appreciated.

She was not intimidated by the Manual transmission at all. I had exactly in mind what I was looking for and she was the perfect person to help me. I really enjoyed my time talking with Star and doing business. They gave me fair price for my trade in, took care of me leaving, and stayed in contact with me regarding my purchase. Volkswagen service department is trash since Mr. Haywood is no longer there. I have gotten all of the service done to my car since 2014 and the service department was perfect until Mr. Haywood left. Now, they never return calls, so you have to keep calling. When you drop the car off for a scheduled appointment, there always seems to be questions about why the car was dropped off???? IT"S SCHEDULED SO YOU KNOW WHY IT WAS DROPPED OFF! I don't know where Mr. Haywood is, but if Ritchey Automotive does not get him back, we (me and all of my friends, neighbors, and family that drive VW, Audi, and Jags) will NEVER return for service. Several of my family members have already began having their service done at other local repair shops for much cheaper. When Mr. Haywood was there, everything ran smoothly , he always had a great attitude, and there was never a question about WHY my car was there for a scheduled appointment.

We went to this dealership for a Honda civic, was told it was in perfect condition. We get there there was a hole in the seat, it had been wretched, green nail polish on the back seat and it didnt have the opinions that the internet said it did. We get there and test drive it and the tire sensor light was on so they said they would give us 200.00 off the car. Then we go to sign the odometer statement and there was almost 2k more miles on it than what they wrote the buyers order for. We offered a price and they said we can come.back to get it on sat that the light would be fixed. I call and confirm for sat and then was told that they sold.it to someone else. This dealership is very shady and I WILL NEVER BUY Anything else from them. Just cause someone else offered to pay the price they where asking and our deal they agreed to was lower , they sold it from under us.

I have been extremely disappointed with my experience here. It’s been two months since I purchased a Range Rover from this dealership. I had it delivered to my house in Arkansas and the car showed up damaged. The back end of the car had been damaged in transit. I wanted to return the car but after talking to dealership they ensured that they will take care of all the damages and reimburse me a $1000 for all the trouble and delay it would cause me. Having believed them, I signed the deal. As soon as it was signed, it seemed everyone washed their hands of it. I had to make numerous calls to get the repairs paid for(which took a month). I still haven’t received the reimbursement check. The car didn’t have the features advertised. Due to the damage in the rear, the trunk locking system is not working correctly. The body shop told me that I would have to take it to a Land Rover dealership 150 miles away. I sent a detailed email with all the pictures and messages exchanged back and forth between me and the dealership to upper management. Didn’t not even get an email response back. Would not recommend anyone to this dealership because of my experience. The sale was misrepresented, they did not keep their word, and I am left with incurring additional costs due to damages. Poor way to do business.
