Felt that the service was faulty.. they knew goodyear eagles that came on my new truck was bad... instead of standing up... no they charged me 74.oo for a wheel balancing. They knew the tires had nylon belts instead of steel belts. I for one put more miles going back and forth trying to get max and the other bandits to fix my truck. I drove from lucedale ms to do business with what I thought was a reputable dealership. Found out that Preston Hood is after not as honest as they claim.

I had a full service back to August 30 on my Equinox 2010 including oil , engine and some maintenance on the ABS brakes , they fix also my airbag and also I bought 2 tires for the front side . Excellent job , outstanding customer service. Everything apparently good for who spent 2k . Till a week ago , when one of my tires blowout maybe for an iron, nail or wherever was the reason my tire blowout . This happen on Biloxi beach ( 90 ) I came to the dealership ( previous call ) and i asked about a warranty or anything for a tired with less than 6000 miles and not more than 11 months with a suppose of 60,000 life , and they said is nothing they can do cause I drove less than a block in order to find a safe place to parking and not be in a dangerous busy traffic time . Unbelievable!!!

I will never refer anyone to this dealership. They do not make good on their promises. DO NOT buy a used car from them. They promised to have the car painted to "LOOK LIKE NEW" and actually made the car look worse!!! I was given back a vehicle that has two different paint colors now. They do not care about their customers or giving good customer service. This whole buying experience has become a waste of MY time, money, and energy! Unless you like being hassled, lied to, and given the run around, I highly recommend taking your business somewhere else. I wish I would have.

I brought my 2009 Trailblazer in and immediately had Clay come out to ask me questions concerning the troubles I was having. He explained the process they would take including contacting me after the diagnostics were done. I have used Preston for some time (although I didn't purchase my SUV here) and they are by far the best dealership to deal with. Customer service is top notch. Very positive car buying experience. After our initial visit to the dealership, my wife and I drug our feet for several days while thinking through this purchase. I worked with Paul S., in sales, through several phone calls and two visits. Paul was very personable, knowledgable, patient, and likable. Paul (and Norris, the sales manager) did a great job staying engaged with us throughout the process without making us feel pressured. In fact, at one point, we were encouraged to "take our time and think everything through". Once we decided to go forward with negotiating a deal on a specific vehicle, we went back and forth a few times with Paul and Norris until we found a number that everyone was comfortable with. When all the dust settled, I received a very fair value on a trade in and a price below bluebook on the vehicle I purchased. I am sure the dealership made enough profit to keep the doors open and I feel that I received a more than fair deal. The entire negotiation process was conducted in a friendly and tactful manner. Once a deal was agreed upon, we asked the finance department to request a loan for us through our credit union (saving us a trip and paperwork). The financing came through in just a few minutes and at a terrific rate. While in the finance department, the obligatory extended warranties were offered and explained but not in a pushy manner. In 20+ years of buying cars, this was the most positive car buying experience I have encountered. Thanks Paul and Norris, Ray Brandt will be our first stop the next time we purchase a vehicle.

My vehicle was dropped off on 9/21 for transmission warranty work. Then got the run around about the tech having issues going on in his personal life (which if they were true or not I don’t know but at the same time not my problem). Went to pick the truck up finally at 7 weeks later and the truck was shifting out hard and down shifting so hard it would sit you up out of the seat. “Tech said oh I thought it would clear up” mind you I drive this truck from Gulfport to New Orleans 5-7 days a week. So I take it back only to pick it up a week and a half later for it to still be down shifting hard into first gear enough to set you up out of the seat. So in total they had my truck for 8 1/2 weeks and still can’t get it right. Have tried contacting service and the service manager and even left two separate messages and still haven’t gotten a response. I’ll more than likely never do business here again once my issue is resolved.

Then instead of apologizing, they proceeded to try and blame us. ??? I am handicap, and it is not easy to get around. This was a handicap accessible vehicle, that is needed to get around, and they wasted my entire day, when it could've been getting repaired.

Manager kinda took forever to get around to us which wasn't ideal as we had our baby with us though it seemed he was very busy with other customers so it didn't bother us to much. When I showed up they was very nice and friendly, I picked the car I wanted. Went to drive off after approved to buy it, the salesman got in the car with me, stated the on star registering, I noticed the warning light on dash board, tried asking him about it, the on star lady talking the whole time, me I'm trying to ask what's wrong with the top not secured warning light on the car. Finished with on star and don't remember half of what was said, the used car manager came out took the car to service department, told me they would fix it, said alright, they gave me a car to drive. Went home, called the next day, (salesman said he was going to call but he never did) they said they had to order part, so I said okay (really wanted this car). Didn't hear from them for 2 days , I called back, they told me the part was in, but it didn't fix the problem , they would call me back by cob, this was Thursday. Didn't hear anything friday, so I went up there Saturday, general manager of used cars told me he would call me monday. I was almost home and the general manager of preston hood called me back told me since they couldn't get that car fixed he could find me another car,he had a white one on the lot so I told him I would take that one. Left happy . The following Monday noticed my headlights was 2 different colors, waited 2 weeks to bring back. Went back on a Monday had to order part, was brought back for a new headlight, got fixed. Had a weekend of rain, didn't go anywhere sunday, got into it to go to work Monday morning and the was water in the floor board where it had leaked into the car. Brought it back monday, they say we put a sprinkler head on it and sprayed water on and didn't see a leak, my daughter called me and put the service guy on the phone, he told me he couldn't find any l leak, I told him to go drive the car a he could hear the door didn't seal you could hear the wind and get it outta the rain, they kept it and found the leak, it's we'd still don't have my car back ( supposed to go tomorrow ). So needless to say for this 45,000 dollar car, I've had a real bad experience.

WOW! The service department here is on point. Turan Foley Chevrolet needs to take notes!!!!!!! After being told it would take all day just to see why my check engine light was on and if needed a repair they wouldn't be to get to it till the next day. I pull up to Preston Hood and as soon as the doors opened they met me by my vehicle and within a minute the service rep checked the code for me and was able to explain what it meant and what it would most likely take to fix it. That's all I was asking Turan Foley to do and not waste my whole day without my vehicle just to tell me what was wrong. Here's where it gets better....ready for this??? I ask the service rep can you fix it for me? The service rep smiles and say we sure can we will get started right away. WOW. It's twice the distance from my house to here verses the other dealer but i don't care if it was five times the distance I'm coming here for now on for service and when I upgrade I will be buying here. am very dissatisfied.. First of all it did not have all the features that the sales rep told me that was in the car... if I did not have such a busy work schedule I would return the car. I called the sales manger about it and he told me the radio I was told that was in the car did not come in the 2012. I research online and turns out it does. I had to wait a day to get my car, when I was told it would be there by monday afternoon. No one even called me to let me know what was going on. I had to call up to dealership on monday to find out what the status was. They inform me they was waiting on driver. That it would be here on tues. I never recived a call on tues about my car. I finally decieded to call up there about 2. They told me my car was about finished detailing. I get up there at 330 and find out my car is just now going into detail. I had to wait hour and 15 min to get my car. The guy didn't even give me time to tell him about the radio he rushed me in the car and push onstar button to set it up. This is by far the worst experience I have had with a car dealership. I will not buy a car from here again. I was lied to. Make sure that you know what you are getting :/

My experience is with the service department and it has been excellent. when I purchased the Buick Enclave from PH, I was a bit concerned about continuing service first because it is a Buick and they are not a Buick dealer and second my past experiences with dealerships were less than satisfactory. Enter service writer Jeff Tebor who has been stellar in seeing that the vehicle is serviced properly. I dont know what goes on behind the scene, but I do know that every time I have brought the car in, I was met with friendly faces, and willingness to get the job done right, completed at the designated time, and I drive away smiling. Was OK experience. The young, relatively new salesman was nice and did a good job in representing the units. The bad part of the experience was when we were done, and my relative didn't find a truck (that's what we were looking for...a truck) that fit her. The sales manager came up to our vehicle as we were leaving and said, "May I make a recommendation that you try a Trax?" There was no introduction by this sales mgr. Secondly, we were there looking for a truck. Trax is a small SUV. That question by the sales mgr was rather offensive and shows he was either ill-informed or that is his MO. Either way, that is the wrong way to approach potential customers. Don't try to sell someone something they are not looking for. If, after a period of time, you can not help the customer, give up and don't waste your time or the customers' time. Wish them well and send them on their way. Leave them with good thoughts so they may return. If you piss them off, more than likely they are gone forever.

Wow! I pulled up to have recall work completed on my Impala. I was greeted and was promptly taken care of within 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn't be more pleased! I got a recall notice in the mail for my 2008 Silverado 1500 about the ignition switch. I called to make an appointment and asked if the parts where in stock to fix it if needed. I was informed that they could NOT order the parts until my truck was inspected and found to have defective parts so if my truck needed the part I would have to come back when the part came in. ( 2 trips ) I found this to be really strange and called GM customer service and was told that they COULD order the parts and have them on hand if needed. When I returned to the dealer to pick up my truck I asked why they lied to me and was told by the service manager Walt that they didn't stock the parts because they could not return them if not used. He said it was a "bad business decision to order the parts." I have never heard of parts being non returnable from a manufacturer to a dealer on a safety recall. Turns out the bad business decision was to lie to me and then try to explain it away, because I will NEVER return to this dealer for anything !

If you are looking for a vehicle I would highly recommend walking into Preston Hood Chevrolet. I was in the market for a truck and the courteous and professional staff more than exceeded my expectations. After doing a fair amount of research I had narrowed my search down to 3 different makes and models and decided Preston Hood would be the first stop on my relentless search for the right vehicle. Having a very specific set of criteria I had to meet with my purchase, I knew it would be difficult to find the right vehicle within my comfortable price range. However, I was willing to search as long as need be within a few hours of Biloxi to make it happen. Upon arrival I met Steve Bendell (my salesman) and Nolon Saucier (behind the desk guy). I explained my criteria and situation financially and they got down to business. Steve promptly took me to look at new and used Silverados, but nothing seemed to fit right for a variety of reasons. Steve then showed me a 2015 Toyota Tundra they had recently taken in that was a perfect fit. It fell within my range and was a suited all my needs, but wanting to do my due diligence I shook hands, thanked him and left. After a couple of days, I spoke with the guys and let them know I appreciated the effort, but needed to find something a bit more affordable because it was at my top end range. The following morning, I received a message saying they had worked the price down signfigantly so it would land more comfortably for me. I then had something to think about. I took the vehicle home for the night for a good test, but still considering other vehicles, I thanked them for the effort, and turned the keys over the next morning to continue my search. I spent the next week plus driving across the Southeast, inspecting, test driving, and researching. Wheeling and dealing, I dealt with several other dealerships and was finally ready to pull the trigger on a GMC Sierra elsewhere. Unfortunately for the other dealership, they were less than truthful about the truck and made promises they apparently could not keep, so after a completely frustrating expierience the deal fell through in dramatic fashion and I was back to square one. Over all this time still the best fit and value was the Tundra, but I was enjoying some other amenities I had seen in some other vehicles and was trying to make it work. Steve, being the professional he was, was certainly on his game because after seeing through social media I had a miserable expierience elsewhere, I got a call at 915am the following morning. He said he wanted me to know they wanted my business and to treat me right. They had a brand new 2017 Silverado they worked into my price range, which had never been remotely close before. They got me back in there to look and it was a beautiful truck, but all said and done out the door it was just out of my comfort zone and didn't fit as well to my needs as the 2015 Tundra. Having done my due diligence I was certain at that point that the Tundra was my truck, and after dealing with with Steve and Nolon, who were truly dedicated to helping me find what I needed within my range while never being pushy or overbearing, I was also certain I wanted to do business with them. Steve shared his knowledge and patiently allowed me the time to make an educated decision, even if it meant seeing me walk away several times. Both he and Nolon each earned my business not just with an excellent product and price, but by working for me and treating me with a level of respect you truly rarely come across in this business by my account. I financed through the dealership and I shouldn't have been surprised that the rate they got me was the most competitive I had come across, just dotting a cherry on top of the whole expierience. So after what seemed a year long search I finally drove off the lot in the very first vehicle I got into a few weeks ago, which goes to show you how well they know how to match a buyers needs even when the buyer is unsure themselves. If you are in need, allow these gentlemen the oppurtunity.

Of the four hours to perform work on my vehicle, 30 of those minutes my vehicle sat in the parking lot waiting for a test drive after work was completed before it was returned to me and the technician's hand out for $400.00 after work was performed. I was starving, my kids were starving. Quite a poor experience in my opinion since we switched to this dealership when it was Preston Hood because Turan-Foley had poor service quality. Please fix this for future patrons.

When my wife and I decided to buy a new 2018 Camaro, we decided we would work with three dealers. Two of those are in the Mobile, AL area where we live. The other was Preston Hood just across the State line in MS. We knew the model and options we wanted would be almost impossible to find on a lot. So we decided to have one built to our specifications. We told all three dealers that the best price, along with willingness to work with us, would win. The two AL dealers near us seemed disinterested. I don't think they believed we would go to MS to make our purchase. They seemed unwilling to give us firm quotes or answer our questions. In one case, it took 3 dealer employees to figure out how to get the top down on a Camaro convertible. Not a good sign. Not only did Preston Hood offer the best price, they were there for us the entire way. Any time we had a question they got back to us in short order. One time, I sent an email to Brenda around 7:00pm with several questions. To my surprise, when I opened my email at 10pm that evening there was a detailed response. But Preston Hood NEVER pestered or pressured us. It was a very cordial and layed-back relationship. - top notch and professional. After we ordered the car, Brenda and Chris kept us up to date on the progress. Chris told my wife when it came in he would spend as long as it took with her to understand all the features. And that's what he did - about 2 hours worth. Several of the options were dealer installs. The car arrived before all of the options so Chris told us to take the car and when the parts arrived he would send someone to our home in Alabama to pick it up, install the options, and then return it to us. Keep in mind, we live about an hour away. If there is such a thing as a perfect experience with a car dealer we just had it. We could not be happier. All the folks at Preston Hood were friendly, responsive and professional. They kept every promise they made to us. I fully expect I will return to them when it is time for me to get a new vehicle. It was worth the drive. I would have given them 6 Stars if that was on option.

Not a bad place to buy a vehicle there was no hard pressure I purchased a 2014 Chevy Silverado LTZ at a fair price I do have some issues whereas the heated seats are not working and will need to go back in the shop and on another vehicle that I brought in a few months back had a problem with service air bags which is a problem I've had since the day I bought the car this is on a Chevy Traverse LTZ should have still been under the warranty but I was charged $108 and the problem is still not fixed I guess I'll have to bring that car back into

After TWO hours of my car being physically inside of the shop, they decided to let me know they didn't have the part to fix my vehicle, after they assured me on the phone that they had it! Then they said if I wanted to wait another hour or two, they would have the part. They said the same thing to another woman waiting for her vehicle and she had been here longer than I had! I'm here on vacation and they've wasted my whole day when I could've gone somewhere else that would've fixed my vehicle! Oh and they told my fiancé that the mechanic "might break a part" when he puts my vehicle back together cause he wasn't sure about it. What a crooked establishment!

Two weeks ago I was experiencing issues, took my car in and was told my alternator was bad. $900 and five hours later I was told good to go. One week later, same issues come back. Take my car back in, this time was told the brake modulator needed replacing. However, part not in stock. Left my car overnight as it was unsafe to drive. Today car was ready to go. Parts & labor, another $900. Left the dealership and not even one hour later my car started experiencing the same issues, I immediately got off the interstate and called Preston Hood only to be told "our service department is closed for the day". I explained the situation to the gentleman I was speaking to, and his response, "well as I said service department is closed, and will be back open at 7:30 tomorrow morning, there is nothing we can do tonight ". I managed to get home with pulling over multiple times, due to my car stalling out. However, spending almost $2k in this short of time, and the issue still not fixed, and to be told come back tomorrow is beyond frustrating.. If this is how their service is, and to military families at that, I'm disgusted!!

They gave me the best price by far on my Chevy Colorado ZR2 and believe me, I checked several dealerships. Everyone was friendly and my salesman, James Armstrong, was a AWESOME GUY!! He’s definitely on top of his game. If you visit Ray Brandt ask for James. I ordered my truck so it took a couple days to pick it up, but he kept me updated daily on its progress. Bottom line, it was a great vehicle purchasing experience and you don’t get that many places. If you’re looking for a vehicle, check these guys out!!!!

I started shopping around at different dealerships at the beginning of January 2017 with the goal of purchasing a vehicle in 3 months. I had stopped into Preston Hood after shopping around at several dealerships following a suggestion from a relative. I was speaking with a salesman regarding my goals, plans, self-employment income, etc. He offered to have his manager do a soft pull & take a look at my credit score to let me know what my options would be. I told him that I didn't want my credit pulled as I was just shopping around. He assured me several times that it was a soft pull & not a hard pull and would be just like me taking a look at my own credit score and would not affect my credit at all. I said okay, filled out a form and he then went and had his manager review my info. He came back and told me that the manager said that he would be able to get me into a car. I said ok good. I told him that when I was ready, I'd be in touch and then left. 1 week later, I go to apply for a business line of credit and did a routine check of my credit score on Credit Karma beforehand and saw that there was not only a HARD INQUIRY (not a soft pull as I was told - wish I could upload the screenshot here ) from Preston Hood Chevrolet, but it negatively impacted my credit score, which had dropped as a result of the hard pull. I called the dealership and spoke with the manager to ask about their policies & practices. Not only did he not answer ANY of my questions, he began his response off by asking "who did you speak with?" and then replied "well I have a hard time believing that __________ told you that, he's been doing this for x# of years" ..essentially calling me a liar. The only reason I did not post this review sooner was that the salesman called me back and apologized and insisted that it was a soft pull (meanwhile I'm on Credit Karma looking at the screen seeing the HARD INQUIRY -see screenshot below). I decided to let it go and just dispute it on my credit report after speaking with my brother who's also a banker & credit consultant. Then today, I get a letter in the mail from Preston Hood that started off with: "After carefully reviewing your application, we are sorry to advise you that we cannot extend vehicle financing to you at this time". What application?!?!?!?!? I NEVER applied for vehicle financing with you people!!!!! I called in again this evening regarding the same situation. After being put on hold several times, I just hung up. I have a very comfortable, spacious, & dependable vehicle that I own free & clear, which runs just fine. I was ONLY shopping around with plans to upgrade & get something newer in 3 mos. You guys have certainly lost a potential customer, will NEVER purchase from you guys & I will tell EVERYONE that I know about my negative experience with Preston Hood Chevrolet. BUYERS BEWARE! If you're shopping around, DON'T SIGN ANYTHING!!! If they tell you that they're just doing a 'SOFT PULL' & IT WONT EFFECT YOUR CREDIT, IT WILL & ITS NOT A SOFT PULL, ITS A HARD PULL !!! These will drop your credit score (as hard inquiries do) & it will add to the # of hard inquiries that you have and will stay on your credit for 2 yrs. negatively effecting your credit. My point to you, Preston Hood Chevrolet, don't tell people you're doing a soft pull & you're doing a hard pull on their credit. If someone calls to ask about your policies & procedures, please answer their questions and don't suggest that they're lying when they describe their experience. My credit score will recover, but you guys have lost a customer and I would never recommend you to anyone. It's a shame really, I was looking forward to doing business with you guys. I would have ONLY applied for financing through my credit union WHEN I WAS READY to purchase if I decided to purchase form Preston Hood anyway.

When I purchased the vehicle the salesman and manager treated me great it was late afternoon and I fell in love with the camaro I bought everything was done in a hurry because I really wasn't planning on buying a car that day but regardless I did get a discount I ended up driving away with my vehicle at night. Few days later I noticed the rims were starting to peel the paint was fading I thought at first that they were just dirty and I figured after a good cleaning they would go away but they only got worse so I went back to the dealership and asked if there were something they could do about it but of course once they sell you the car your on your own that's the type of attitude I got they did give me a business card telling me that this gentleman paints wheels and he did alot of work for them so I called him and this gentleman told me he would paint all 4 rims for about $450 including tax well I never heard from him back I then went back to the dealership to get my oil changed and again I tried to discuss the matter in regards the wheels but didn't get anywhere so in a way I was happy the way I was treated buying this camaro but after I purchased it they don't seem to help you nor at least meet you half way with some problems that you may not be aware of before purchasing a vehicle so now I'm stuck with these ugly rims that the paint is fading away it looks awful I actually almost traded the vehicle in for another brand new camaro but I've changed my mind because I felt that I was not given the proper treatment after purchasing the vehicle

Totally ripped me off on service. Did not fix the problem but still charged me and sent me off in an unsafe vehicle. After I stopped payment with the credit card their management got involved and sent a totally fictitious letter to the credit company so they could get paid. I told them don't just replace parts and hope for the best all the little garage mechanics have tried that. They assured me they were experts and had the equipment to fix it right. WRONG. Lying POS. That's what they are. They can say they fixed it but the fact that I went across the street after I picked it up from them to get gas and the engine quit again is all the proof I need. Why deal with these immoral people when there is another chevy dealer near by? Avoid this place. I'll be happy to tell anyone interested about my dealings with these low life's.

This place is awful. Terrible service. They do not disclose what you will not get with your vehicle. Once they make the sale, you are dead to them. Service is awful slow. Be prepared to wait upwards of three hours for simple things. Avoid this place like the plague.
