Pitiful pitiful pitiful customer service! I went with my daughter dec 22 to get oil changed.... Called ahead to get appointment.... Said not necessary... So slow.... Left home in time to get there 3 hours before my cancer appointment..., we say there over 3 hours with waited over two hours being told every few minutes Just a second! Then after six people who came in after us had already gone my daughter got up again and they said they were checking prices for new Tres! Most ridiculous customer service I've ever witnessed... Went in for oil change due to being the area for doctor appt. They charged me for replaceable element 6.50, gasket 1.37, said I needed air filter. I usually get my oil changed at Bullock Toyata of Louisville, Ms, they changed my filter then. Johnson O'Neil overcharged me items not needed. A rip off. Never plan to stop again. Cheaters, because I was not a reg customer. Do not use them.

Before you buy from these folks, ask a lot of questions. If they can't answer your question, leave. If they say they "will check on that", leave. It's a lie. If you deal with Bill Mooney, don't even bother. Just leave. You're about to get screwed and lied to. Actually, just save yourself the trouble and don't even go here. My first car buying and trading experience where I honestly feel I made a good deal. I was given a (great) price for my trade in. I had researched several web sites and made sure I was not being under-priced. I was allowed to drive the car I was interested in for the day before I made a purchase decision. I then researched the web and was assured the asking price was within my range and not above the average price for the year, make & model of the car I chose. I went through internet sales and I highly recommend the internet sales manager (not sure if I can mention names). I got a fantastic interest rate through Hyundai. The finance manager went over my contracts and options thoroughly and thoughtfully. Anyone interested in a product you can depend on and a name you can trust need go no further than John O'Neil. p.s. I just received a call from my internet sales person to follow up on my purchase. How great is that?

Some the the staff (only a few) are rely nice. But for the most part, they lie, tries to get you to buy extra services, charge you for services not rendered. The continue to send me those fake coupons that I quickly trash. I witness them breaking a women cardallic converter and tried to get her to pay for their mistake. Only when she started to cry and tell them she couldn't afford it did they back down.

I bought a used 4runner from them. The car had some issues that were under warranty. However, getting them to honor their warranty was a different story. When I was out of town, I had no trouble with getting assistance from other Toyota dealers helping to resolve my issues. Just do yourself a favor, go to a dealer that has to compete for business. They might have an idea of what customer service means. Also, why post service hours if you're not going to actually be open when you say you are?

I wish I could rate them with less than one star. I found a car I wanted on their website and and got in touch with a sales person. I am from Oklahoma so I asked the salesperson to show me the car via an iphone with facetime. During viewing the car I asked the salesperson several questions and one of the questions was "does the care have any damage or visible defects to the outside or inside of the vehicle". I was told "no". I was told the car was in great condition with small scratches that could be buffed out no problem. They tell me to put $500 down on the car to hold it while I can arrange a way to come out to their dealership to buy it (I had sold my truck already and had no car to drive out there). I put the $500 down on the car to hold it and take a bus out there which is a 24 hour drive and I didn't get any sleep. I arrive at the the dealership and immediately start noticing not only the "small scratches" but also dried bird poop that has stained the paint on front of the car and also dried tree sap on the driver door in two spots. They tell me they can buff it all out and it will be ready to buy it. So we go in and start arranging the finance etc. I ask to see the car before we sign the papers. I view the car and it's all the same but now there are tiny scratches from trying to buff out the dried bird poop and tree sap. None of the scratches or dried bird poop were able to be buffed out. I am then coerced and forced to take $100 as a discount to fix all of the paint and body issues. Along with my lack of sleep I was not in a state to understand I was being taken advantage of and scammed. They lied to me about the issues with the paint and scratches and then manipulated me and took advantage of my lack of sleep to push off a car with major issues. When I got home and got rest I took the car to get it fixed for their promise I "could go anywhere and get it fixed for $100", the cheapest place I could find would fix it for $1400.... I called and talked to the general manager and he promised to have a local dealership call me and get it taken cared of, no one called me and he never called me back.

Johnson Toyota is one of those places where you trade because it is the only show in town. The dealership is located in an old building with uncomfortable furnishings for service customers. The sales process is long and interesting. When I bought a new RAV4, several things were to happen...they didn’t. When I bring in my cars for service...there is always a long wait. Just seems like there is no boss in the place. When I wanted to buy a genuine Toyota Extended warranty, I was told they don’t sell them...only aftermarket stuff I’ve never heard of. When you bring your car in and get promised a pickup time...you’d better call first. Brought my car in for a 25,000 mile service...told I’d have to wait til 10am to pick the car up... It is 1130 and it’s not done. Bottom line...Johnson Toyota is a mediocre dealership with lots of room for improvement. I’ve bought many Toyota cars since the 1970s...this place stands alone. I wouldn’t buy another car here and will look to see how far it is to another Toyota dealer.

Worst experience I have had so far while searching for a car! Basically judged me for what I drove onto the car lot. Because of the particular car I drove they stated “you shouldn’t look at a 4Runner because of what you drive, you should look at a Rav 4 instead. Because on a 4Runner your car note will be $500” meanwhile no one has asked me where I work or anything.. simply judging me by what I drove onto the car lot. Also I should mention that I told them I would be putting cash down on whatever I bought. I would not recommend going here.

I have been there three times; once looking at a new car, once looking at a used car, and another time to buy a part for my wife's car. Whenever I go to look at a car, I have already done my research, have likely driven a car very similar, and know what is a good price. I typically tell them straight up front, I want this car for this price and all I want is a yes or no. Each time I was asked to fill out multiple papers with my info and was once asked for my information to run my credit before even looking at a car. I don't like when my time is wasted, and in reality they are wasting their own time as well. As far as the part goes, I was buying a small electrical fuse for an air conditioning system in a 2003 Corolla. I waited 10 minutes for someone to show up at the counter, 15 min for him to locate the part in his system ( I brought the old fuse with me and it had all the numbers he would need right on the side of it), and then another 15 min for them to look for it. Ultimately they told me they would need to order it and it was going to be $80! I ended up buying it for $13 at an auto parts store. I won't go back here for anything.

Wasted my time, refused to negotiate a cash price after they said they would since the moment I got there.. half a day of my life I can't get back... they waited until it came time to pay them and sign papers for a 2010 highlander with a busted light & saying they wouldn't come down not even 1 cent. Which was well priced above blue book dealer price. All good though, paid $12,600 cash for a Honda pilot at Paul moak in Jackson and they came down nearly 3,000 just so I could get it. Oh, And the lady who tried to sell me the highlander looked like a clown with the loads of makeup. They really need to tell their sales people to tone down the makeup. Just my opinion, I think people of that occupation need to be very presentable when you're trying to sell something...

My trip to the dealership was not a pleasant one. I called at the beginning of the week to make sure they had a key for my daughter's car that could be cut. The parts guy told me they had one in stock and I could make an appointment but it shouldn't be a problem to just stop by since it wasn't a major repair. I called the next day, Wednesday, and left a voicemail to set up an appointment. No one called me back. I tried twice more and no one answered. I took a chance and showed up at the dealership on Thursday despite not having an appointment. I stood at the counter while a lady from the service department helped another customer. During the five minute conversation with the customer I found out that the owner now lives in Colorado and is trying to sell the dealership. She said she would be right back as she left with the customer. I stood, looking at the clock on the wall, for another ten minutes. During this time I was told twice that someone would be right with me. I also learned from random conversation of employees that one employee's pipes had burst and another employee was spending his time cleaning out his car at the dealership during working hours. After fifteen more minutes an employee came to the service counter only to tell me I needed to talk to the parts department. I then stood at the parts counter for five minutes before the only employee there turned around, while on the phone the entire time, to notice me. I told him I had called a few days earlier and the person I spoke to said the part was in stock. Instead of offering to double check that the part was still in stock like the service guy suggested I do he sent me back to the service counter. I stood for another five minutes with noone at the counter offering to help me. At one point the service manager walked by me. I know this from the picture on the wall and not because he introduced himself. He went through a door and disappeared. After that I walked back to the car and left. Overall I drove 30 minutes there, waited for around 30 minutes to get nothing accomplished, and then drove 30 minutes back home. On the way home I called Bullock Toyota in Louisville. Within 15 minutes I was told they had the part and scheduled me an appointment for the following day. I'm sitting here now in a non crowded waiting room while they make the extra key. They greeted me at the door and immediately took the car to the back to get to work. 20 years ago my family bought all our cars from Johnson Toyota. When the father died and the son took over the dealership things started to go downhill. If you want or need to have work done drive to Bullock Toyota. They treat you like Johnson Toyota used to when they cared.

These people are liars. I don't mean bend or stretch the truth liars. I mean bold face, fiction as fact, through the teeth, liars. I talked with 3 people. Each of the 3 told me that if I would drive my car to Meridian, they would make a "CASH OFFER" on my 08* Prius. On the phone they asked me if i was willing to trade. I responded with, "I just want to sell it." They responded, "How many miles is on it?" Me - "135,000." Associate - "Alright. I understand just wanting to sell. Bring it in and we will make an offer." I brought the car (not a short drive) and met with the associate I had talked with on the phone, who immediately proceeded in trying to sell me another car (he's a salesman, I get it, no biggie). I kindly declined. He asked me if i would trade. I said no. He talked to me for another 15 minutes in an effort to change my mind, at which point i kindly asserted that i was only there to get an offer for my Prius. He then told me "because your car has 135,000 miles on it, we do not want it", and would not make an offer. Anybody want an 08 Prius with 135,000 miles? Email me if you do. I'll let it go at a good price. ;)

John O'Neil Johnson Toyota in Meridian, Mississippi is an interesting dealership. It is rather old style and doesnt seem very up-to-date with the latest Toyota offerings. The new car sales department is interesting. The dealership failed to deliver what it promised me with respect to after-sales issues...but I don't know if they always do that. I wanted a Toyota branded extended warranty, but got some off-brand thing because I was informed they don't sell Toyota Extra Care warranties. The service department seems pretty disorganized to me. Everyone of the technicians are called Assistant Manager so I had no idea who is boss... didn't seem like they knew. When I was told my care needed something repaired or fixed, they couldn't explain why I needed it or what the repair consisted of... Anyway, this is the closest dealer to Meredian, Mississippi so I get to use this dealer.

The guys here are awesome, very fast service and very knowledgeable. They worked above and beyond as a team well pass their work hours to complete the repair on my vehicle. We were from out of town and ended up with diesel instead of regular gas in our car due to a confusion at the pump. We were extremely blessed to run across a great set of guys like them. Salesman could not tell me the difference between the S, S Plus, and S Premium models. He could not tell me the model of the car he was selling me and had to look up the stock number. I mentioned to the salesman a college graduate rebate that I had noticed on Toyota's website and asked if I would qualify as I graduated from college in May 2012. I was told that to qualify, I would have had to graduate within 6 months. Once I was at home, and did my research, I learned that to qualify, I would have to graduate within two years.

I had nothing but issues with getting service to communicate and take care of roadvantage warranty issues. If you're going to purchase a new Hyundai vehicle, do it as if it is "as is" because you will have to fight hard to get them. I've had to consistently and repeatedly call to get ANYTHING done. Literally. The Hyundai service dept has completely turned over staff at least once in the last 8 months since I've purchased the car, only to be disappointed again. If I had known how much trouble I'd go through... fighting for these issues, I never would have purchased the 2017 Hyundai Elantra due to the complete headache I'm going through with Customer service. That being said, I've now spoken to Mr. Johnson and to management about everything and they had John Reyes, who was awesome, he worked with us to get a trade for me which I am very pleased with. I got a used Toyota instead of a hyundai so I won't have to deal with the Hyundai service dept. Thank y'all for working with me to resolve the issues.

Salesperson, finance section, sales and finance process were great. Professional, friendly, just great experience overall until the end, BUT... I was at the dealership late buying my 2014 Santa Fe, so I brought it back the next day for the "detailing." Hyundai dealership detailers were off by the time I brought it by, this was Saturday, so we took it up to the Toyota dealership for them to detail my car. That was the WORST detailing job I have ever had. NOTHING was done to the inside, not even a vacuum. the exterior looked like they rinsed it off and them wiped it dry with wet cloths. TOTALLY disappointing! I called my salesperson who was apologetic and I will take it in again next week and he will ensure it is done right, so he will make it right, and I appreciate this.
