My Dad bought my BMW from here for me, it was a really easy experience compared to most and I say that having been through many car buying proceedings so far. But they worked with us on finding the right car for me, gave me an amazing price on it and was even able to hold it for me until my Dad could make it up to the dealership to buy. Which was like a week or so from the time I put my little deposit on it so it'd be mine. Alan in finance did a great job finalizing the deal and even found me an extended warranty to help protect my car even more. All in all, the easiest most enjoyable car buying experience I've personally ever had.

Hi, this dealership has been calling for the past 4 days trying to work a deal on a used 2016 elantra. And finally we agreed on the terms and we where about to leave to pick up the car when one of the sales staff gave us a call saying that the dealership got the approval on another more expensive car and some how the paperwork got mixed up and the difference is only 39 dollars or so above the stated monthly payment, that's not what we agreed upon and I can't advise anyone to do business with sales people that try to get you in and change the agreement.I appropriate the attempt to help but not the bait and switch tactic.

I purchased my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport from Olive Branch Hyundai approximately 2 years ago. I am someone who like most people dread going car shopping due to the pushy, over-aggressive sales tactics used by most salespeople in the business. However, I was pleasantly surprised that I was actually allowed time to stroll the lot, drive each car I was interested in and take my time choosing the right vehicle for me. Purchasing a car is a huge financial decision. You should have the ability to make that decision with minimal stress and as much time as you need. I even asked to go look at the car “one more time” during the paperwork process to be sure it was the one for me! The salesman never once acted aggravated by this and kindly led me back outside to take one last look. OB Hyundai is hands down the best dealership around and the folks that work there from sales, front desk to the fantastic service area truly as friendly as they get! I have had my Sonata for almost 5 yrs. It's a great vehicle with lots of room. I had one issue with the brake light assembly, but Homer Skelton Hyundai identified the problem and replaced it-no charge! Billy and the other members of the service dept have always been kind, courteous and helpful when I bring in my vehicle for routine service. They consistently provide excellent service with minimal wait. If I had to identify one drawback with the vehicle, it would be that wished my gas mileage was a little better. Other than that, I am really enjoying my vehicle.

Beware if you let them service your vehicle! My wife and I have had at least 2 bad experiences with Homer Skelton Hyundai. First they left every lug nut completely loose on the drivers side front tire. When we drove the vehicle back into the service area and told the service manager what was wrong they looked at us like we were lying to them. I bent down and turned the lug nuts by hand on the front drivers side tire then they were like oh we will take care of it. Second bad experience is when they were servicing the vehicle on a different occasion the service technician wrecks our vehicle inside the shop at Homer Skelton Hyundai. They were supposed to call us and let us know when the vehicle was ready. We had to call them and the service manager Chelsey was very reluctant to tell my wife what happened. Then it took them over a month to get the vehicle fixed to an acceptable state. Worst dealership I have ever done business with!!!

Horrible experience, I've bought 3 vehicles, my daughter 2 and I referred 3 friends who each bought a vehicle here. I went in for a simple oil change and after an hour and twenty minutes was told my oil plug stripped out and that I would have to wait until they got another one. Finally well over 2 hours later it was finally finished and I questioned the service manager as to why the plug stripped. He said that he didn't know, that it just happens every now and again. The lady at the front desk's look was a look of astonishment and disbelief as was mine. They have always provided service on all my vehicles and in the past when they made a mistake, they were honest about it, repaired it and we moved on. Now, after years I'm in the situation of finding a new dealership to build a relationship of honesty and trust with.

Car pricing was straightforward and no unreasonable things added to the car or deal (like dealer added accessories or dealer prep and handling fees) as a negotiating tactic like a lot of other area dealers. Rick Fink was an excellent salesman. He knew his stuff. I bought a 2019 Hyundai Kona. This is an excellent car. Rick listened to our needs and was extremely helpful. My only problem is with the service center. We were told a mouse had chewed through a wire and that they needed to order the part. I dropped the car off on a Wednesday evening and it was not until the following week on a Friday that it was fixed. They promised each day that the part would be there and it wasn't. I had to borrow cars in order to get to work. The service man said they ordered a part from some company in which they would not be able to track it and did not know when it would get there. They finally did the job after overnighting the part. Should have done that first. In all fairness they took 10% of the bill. So far service after the sell has been less than expected. They did say that the decision to go with the company for the part was the choice of Hyundai. Very pleased with the sale. Very disappointed in the service after the sell. It is an issue of trust. Trusting a person to do what they promised to do and on time.

I have been driving out of my way and bypassing other Hyundai service centers to visit this location and interact with Billy and Doug at the service desk. Great honest service. Complaint - the dealership phone system is inadequate and contains extra button pushes to actually get where I want to go if the call even connects. Desperately need to assess and upgrade the answering service as it does not reflect your high service quality.

We never felt pressured into buying & our salesman, Tony Penn listened to what I wanted in a car & showed me what I was looking for. Actually, after he let me tell him what I was looking for he took us over & I think it was the first car he showed us that we ended up purchasing. He was very knowledgeable about the cars I was interested in & wasn't impatient while my husband & I asked him a lot of questions about couple of cars we were interested in. We had one question he didn't know the answer to & he answered honestly saying he didn't know the answer but he would look into it. When I decided which car I wanted he answered more questions we had & looked up the car facts for us & told us the cars history. While we waited for the all of the paperwork to get done in the finance department we had a nice conversation with Tony & he was very polite & respectful. When the paperwork was ready for us the lady that did that part, Robin also answered all of our questions & explained everything about the warranty & we chose to get the extended warranty to us. I think she had done about 3-4 other customer's paperwork before us & they were about ready to close & she was very patiently & pleasently answering our questions throughout the process & smiling & making us feel at ease. She even got us a lower interest rate on our loan. All in all, our experience was the best experience both my husband & I had ever had buying a car. My experience was wonderful at Homer Skeleton. My sales person "AJ" was very professional and nice. He worked with me and got me the deal I wanted. I would definitely recommend him. Alan, the finance expert was also a pleasure working with. Paperwork was done quick and painless. Changed rating due to whole backseat lifts completely up and won't secure, and could have delivered car with a fresh oil change instead of at 41%. I "assumed" that this vehicle was thoroughly inspected prior to selling but clearly they do not do this for used cars. They have my cash now so they obviously don't care.

This dealership pulls bait and switch. This has happened to me twice in the last month at this place. 1st time- I saw a used 2016 Hyundai Genesis online and asked if they still had it. They told me that it was there and to come see it. I told them I would be there in about 4 hours. When I got there the car was nowhere to be seen and I kept getting told it was in the detail shop. I stayed around about an hour before I had enough and just left. I honestly don’t even know if they ever even had the vehicle. 2nd time - I called about another used Hyundai Genesis yesterday and specifically asked if the vehicle has a “heads up display” the woman went to check and said yes it does. This used vehicle totals for around 30k and I wanted to make sure I got the features I wanted after doing all of my research. I drove up there and was handed off to another salesman. He told me the car was out back and he would be pulling it up. As soon as he pulled the vehicle up It was obvious to me that it did not have the specific feature that I called about. I immediately left feeling like a fool. Overall I think there job is to tell you what you want to hear just to get you to come in. I will not be doing business with them because they have lost my trust. Buyer Beware

My wife and I went to several other dealerships in the Memphis area before finding this somewhat hidden gem in Olive Branch. I had my first experience over the phone with Tony Robinson after submitting info about a vehicle I saw online. Tony was very helpful and answered all my questions. When I arrived at the dealership I was immediately greeted and Mr. Tony introduced us to Clifton Epps who would work with us through the rest of the process. We were also greeted by another gentleman Mr. David Richardson, one of the sales managers at the dealer. David talked to my wife and I about our family, his family and really made me and my wife feel welcome to be there. It wasn't like walking into most dealers that just want to sell you a car as quick as possible. Clifton asked us what we were looking at, pulled the vehicle and showed us the vehicle and its features. We are a family with a special needs child and come to find out Mr. Clifton has experience in special education! He listened and knew the kind of needs we were explaining we needed in a vehicle. This made the process even that much easier! Clifton would end up taking our info back to David to work on a deal for us. Needless to say where other dealerships failed to work hard to obtain us what we needed from the banks, Homer Skelton Hyundai in Olive Branch did not! David was able to get on the phone and make a deal work for us! The level of care and support at this place was amazing! It got so late and there were a few minor things that needed to be worked out on the used van we purchased so we didn't get to go into the finance office that evening. We were called the next day once the van was ready and we met another wonderful guy, Brad Leach in the finance office. We did have to wait a little time that Sat to get into his office to sign the paperwork. We had two of our children with us, one which is a toddler that has a lot of energy! Again I was surprised at how much these guys make you feel like family! Clifton was getting my kids popcorn helping make us a little more comfortable. Once we got into the finance office with Brad, our toddler was making finishing the paperwork quite a challenge. Parents with kids you know what I'm talking about! Brad didn't flinch, he took his time and worked with us through chasing her out of his office several times. I'm sure it was pretty comical for everyone else lol. Again I can't say it enough, THESE GUYS WERE GREAT!! If you are in the market for a vehicle, have certain needs and have thought about trying somewhere else, DON'T, come to these guys instead! I was told the bank approved me for a used Elantra. I had communicated over a course of about 3 days with Kamillia and she even sent me a link to look at the car. On the day I was supposed to go and test drive the car I got a call from a sales manager right before I was about to walk out of the house and was told Kamillia was given the wrong info and I was not approved for that car but I was approved for another car that was over my budget. I don't blame Kamillia at all....in fact I feel like she was lied to also. She only found out because she was trying to have all paperwork ready for me when I got there, then she was told there was a mixup. She was very upset and embarrassed and I actually felt bad for her. The Sales Manager David went above and beyond when helping me with my transaction.
