Herrin-Gear BMW Service department leaves a lot to be desired. Beware of Dale S. He was Very unprofessional. Paid no attention to detail. Could not remember what I said I needed. Never followed up with me. Did not return my call. He could learn a lot from Abraham about customer service. Abraham is the absolute best!! This was a bad experience that I hope to never have again...maybe next time I will get a different service rep. In the end, it was Abraham who treated me like I was a valued customer.
Bought my car there and get it serviced there every time. Service is great. Folks know how to pamper to everyone's tastes and desires. Highly recommended.
One of the most rewarding car buying experiences that I have ever had. The young man that assisted me at Herrin Gear BMW went above and beyond for my wife and I. We have always owned high end luxury cars but never owned a Bmw. After about 10 minutes of listening to Anthony B show us the features and functions and the safety of the vehicle, I was sold.. he was genuine, not pushy, and talked to us, not at us. I highly recommend Herrin-Gear BMW to anyone and have been talking about my experience to everyone since I left. Anthony B. even sent my wife and I to a nice dinner at our favorite restaurant! From now on, I'm driving only BMWs. Isn't this what a car buying experience is suppose to be? :-)
Buying a new car is supposed to be an exciting event, unless you buy from Herrin Gear BMW in Jackson. The sales staff is incompetent, unresponsive and rude. For god's sake all they are doing is selling you a car and they don't give you the time of the day and treat you like crap...they never return calls, they can't get their pricing straight and they have no clue what BMW discount can be applied.

The service department is the worst I've seen. I live a bit far away so I always make sure to make appointment in advance and make sure the parts are in before I make the trip out here. But to this date they have misplaced or have no record of me making an appointment (3 separate occasion). 2 times said that they the recall parts in stock and when I drive out here and somehow, reserved parts for me have magically disappeared. Customer service agents are the rudest I've met. When I arrived no grating or nothing. No apologies for misplacing my appointment. The agent looked hungover. In the middle of putting my info into the system the agent took a person phone call and disappeared for 10 min. When he came back he had food particals stuck around his mouth. All of this is unacceptable. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. With another bmw center 3 hr away, I have no choice but to come here.

We live in Kosciusko and called Saturday 2-19-2017 for a oil change on our BMW M5 and was told to be there by 11:30 which we did and they close at 1:00. We had other arrangements to do that day and we were there all day till appx. 4:00 because they did not know what they were doing!!!! First the guy poured oil all over the motor and closed the lid and my husband told him to clean it off. They did NOT have a clue to even how to reset everything. When they first finally got through we went across the street to get gas and my husband checked it and it read that it was to full. We again took it back and they had it for another 2 hrs trying to figure out what to do and we repeatedly asked what the problem was and to let my husband come back there or talk to someone and they refused until my husband became furious and demanded to see what the hell they were doing to our car!!! We had to CANCEL other prior arrangements!!! I bought my car there and never will I buy another nor ever get a "simple" oil change there!!! Will never be recommended by me!!!!!

I want to share with you my experience. I went online to look for a vehicle and had inquired on several which were posted as available on other dealers' sites. As it turned out they weren't available. Thanks to Herrin Gear BMW I not only was able to view what was available, but I also purchased the vehicle I saw online and was able to pick it up the same day. If you want the high pressure sales of buying what a dealer wants you to buy rather than what you want, then go ahead. I'm still getting email offers from those dealers daily for cars I didn't inquire about. I was there for my oil change, the service and people were very helpful especially Abraham. He really takes care of customers and makes sure we’re 100% satisfied with the service.
I’ve taken my car to the dealership for maintenance and small replacements. I’ve never had a visit that wasn’t satisfactorily in my book. Everyone is courteous and helpful. I wouldn’t trust another dealership with my baby at all. I’ve even had my eye on some more candy I’ve seen on the lot. I just maybe making an upgrade soon.
I had a terrific experience w/this dealership and spent an entire afternoon test driving various models. It was such a good experience, I came bavk the next day & bought a BMW X3. The salesman, Mike, the tech guru, Landon, and the sales manager, Randy were friendly, accomodating, and never once seemed rushed or impatient. If you want a Beemer, this is the place to come.

Service was great..
2 1/4 hours for an oil change. They forgot about my car. Had to get on Julius’ @ss three times for him to check up on it. When I asked why no one is working on my car, he said “they’re there.” Even though Ive been standing there for 30 minutes looking at it. Then there was greasy hand prints all over the car. Smh...
I was told by an employee at Herrin Gear BMW that I can't order touch up paint over the phone (the online store doesn't seem to be working right now) because it has to be prepaid before they'll move it from the warehouse to their inventory. This hasn't been the case in the past as I ordered almost $250 in accessories for my new vehicle over the phone 2 months ago and paid for them when they arrived at the parts counter. The employee also wouldn't check to see if the paint was in stock before I went through the trouble of driving over to the dealership. What kind of customer service is that? This alone wouldn't be worth writing a 2-star review about except that it's been representative of the attitudes of too many employees I encounter at this dealer.

It's unfortunate that I won't be servicing my BMW at this dealership anymore. Sadly I no longer trust it. I had my BMW scheduled for an oil change, appointment was at 1215p, vehicle was not taken in until about 1245p. Upon return of my car, I noticed that a couple things were taken from my middle console, one in particular that a dear friend of mine made a memento that is now gone. I called the dealership for acknowledgement of what has happened and the two staff members, one of which was the general manager were apologetic and I appreciate that. It doesn't change what has happened. I'm very upset that something as simple as taking in my car for routine maintenance, someone has the audacity to be in a place he/she has no business being in. BE AWARE!!!!!!
Seven test drives in one day. Adrian B. @ Herrin-Gear BMW put me in a great car for a great price (confirmed with KBB after getting home). Adrian knows BMW's inside and out and was very nice, helpful and patient. He spent 30+ minutes explaining the cars features after I had purchased the car and would have went on if I had not cried uncle. This was after taking his afternoon figuring out what car I wanted. Also went for test drives at Herrin-Gear Lexus and Herrin-Gear Infiniti the same day and found Chip P. and Lee B. @ Lexus and Infiniti respectively to be very nice, helpful, non-pushy and knowledgeable.

I requested a quote for my front pad replacement on my 2013 328i bmw on11-16-17 @ 4pm and the gentlemen told me it would be between $500 -$600. I called back at 4:13pm on same day to set up a day to have the service done. A different gentlemen answered the phone and scheduled me an appointment to come in. At the end of our conversation, I asked him for the price, he said $800 dollars. I said I just called and ask for quote and it was $500 hundred to $600 hundred. He said hold on, came back and said ok the price is $500 hundred to $600 hundred dollars. Bad business BMW!!!!
The best car buying experience I have ever had from beginning to end. There are a few people that deserve to be mentioned by name. Rachel Putnam, the sales client advisor who assisted me in choosing the car that was right for me and answering all my questions at any time. Also the general sales manager Phillip Lewis who helped me find a car that made since for me financially. Then Steve Zimmerer the finance and insurance manager who was very accommodating and went out of his way when it came time to finalize the purchase contract on the vehicle. I am grateful that you were able to get my car fixed. However some considerations to improve follow: Give car fixed when estimated. Give car back without changes to lights status or other switches. Clean car before returning it. (This is my first BMW. I’ve had more than one Mercedes and I never took them in for service without them cleaning my car inside and out.) These cars are expensive to own and to fix. These touches would help improve service.

Took my car in for power steering lines to be replaced on a 328i. Service guy called and wanted $800 dollars to replace two lines and an additional $600 to replace a gasket because I had an "active oil leak with a steady drip." Advised I did not have an oil spot in my garage or parking spot at work. Did not think I had a leak. Was told that a catch pan was collecting the oil. Advised I would pick my car up. I did and took it to another repair shop. No oil leak and the charge was a lot less to replace the lines on my power steering pump.

I bought my 1st BMW at this dealership in 2001. Most of the same staff still work there. THE STAFF are friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. They go out of there way to assist you. My personal salesperson is AB short for Abraham he is a BMW enthusiast. There is no question he cannot answer. He knows everything! It’s so easy to do business at this dealership and I believe it’s because of the staff. Terry, the service manager, is the icing on the cake. When I leave my car there I have no worries. I know that whatever the situation IS it’s gonna be handled professionally, appropriately, and in a timely manner. This means a lot to me. For these reasons and many more I will always buy my cars from Herrin-Gear BMW. Lastly, I do wanna mention Julius and Adam- great service advisors and new comer Dale. James Cole, and Mike are the best sales people. Rick, used car manager, I’m so glad you are back! Most of these guys have been there forever and a day... AND I CONSIDER THEM my friends. Terrible customer service when I had first purchased my BMW. On my last service call, they had mildly improved so bumping this review from a 1 star to a 2 star. Also, thank the lord I sold my BMW so I don't have to deal with anyone over here anymore. I recommend driving 2.5 hours south to Brian Harris BMW where great customer service is a standard to all customers and is not based off the value of the BMW you purchased.

Called to request a quote on a giant keyed mark from one end of my car to the other, the front desk lady was very nice and helpful and transferred me to the service center. The service of this dealership is absolute trash. I asked the question and the guy just said hold on and put me on hold never picked the phone up after 15 min. Then I hung up and called again, the lady apologized did the same thing, and guy didn't even flipping listen just transferred me to some office of lady, I left a voice mail. THEN CALLED A THIRD TIME. The nice front desk lady transferred me again to service. He Never Picked Up All I want is a flippin idea of how much it would cost to repair a keyed mark on a car.
Horrible !!!! We shopped online first and contacted a salesman about the BMW X1... The SUV was nothing like the pictures the posted. The salesman was not helpful at all . I was really confused about the experience BMW is on of the top of the line dealers. We didn't get that at all. We drove over 200 miles to Alabama and purchased a Mercedes Glk instead.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Herrin-Gear BMW of Jackson. My girlfriend and I were on our way to New Orleans, LA via Monroe, LA for the Labor Day weekend when the flat tire alarm alerted about 20 minutes outside the city. I was able to temporarily patch the tire with my M-Mobility Kit and start looking for ways to resolve the flat tire. We were able to get ahold of Brett Adams on Sunday evening (after the dealership was closed) and he reached out to Terry Garner, the service manager, regarding our flat tire. Terry came into the dealership Sunday night to get the tire from the parts department and met us Monday morning at 8am (on the holiday) to replace my tire. Let me restate, a full BMW dealership opened on a holiday weekend to replace one customer's flat tire. I was beyond floored at this level of service and sheer helpfulness. We were able to make it New Orleans later Monday afternoon and spend the rest of the day and next in a wonderful city. I cannot thank these gentlemen enough for the above and beyond service.

Best Car Buying Experience Ever! In December 2017, after being treated as an ignorant woman from another dealership I called BMW Herrin Gear, spoke to Kiffy a sales person who answered every question and had a brand new 2018 BMW for me to test. Within a couple of hours I owned the new car. Cannot scream loud enough how great she was and how smooth everything went.

Fantastic Experience and wonderful people. I recently went to Herrin-Gear BMW to return my X1 as the lease end was close and upgrade to the X5. We did our research before going into the showroom and were shown various options with different trims, interiors, and exteriors. The entire experience was excellent and Lonnie "Pops" was amazing to work with. Mr. Randy Shomon was extremely professional and made sure we were not disappointed. He went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with the deal and helped us take care of small issues with our X1 that we were returning. The other staff were also very respectful and a few people even stayed past 6 pm (store closing time) to make sure they took care of all our needs before we were able to drive off the X5, the same day!!!! Got a great deal and was a hassle free experience. Highly recommended!

The service I received was excellent, but when I received my service invoice it contained my name, but the address and phone number of someone else. This is disturbing as I was never asked for my address when I left my car for service, only my phone number and it did not appear on the invoice.
