Very understanding to our budget but need for reliable transportation. Worked with us over two visits with no pressure to make sure we got the right car for her. Had been nervous about dealerships- but they are not commission based, so his incentive was just to do a great job! Inspected & warranties were an added bonus. Hoping this vehicle lasts a long while, but when we are ready for another I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I took my Acadia for an oil change, and tire rotation. Before leaving my house I marked the tires to make sure they rotate them. When I was told my car was done I asked if the tires were rotated. I was told they were. I checked the tires and surprise, they were not rotated. I told the guy at Walser about it and yes, he looked for the manager and rotated them within half hour. But I wonder about all the other customers that have been told they did something to their cars and did not do it.

I was very impressed with Carter and Adrien. Carter reached out to me within a day after I submitted I was interested in a vehicle on Carfax. Within 5 hours of first contact through email we had set up a date and a time to meet for me tontest run the vehicle. I thought I was going to have to wait for a email. If I could leave zero stars I would. My fiance drove all the way from ND to purchase a car from Walser. Before he left ND he secured a loan which his bank said could be disbursed via writing a check or wiring money. He informed the staff of this early in the process. So, after paperwork was done, Walser staff wasted time trying to convince him to finance through them. After this they informed him that he could not write a check for the car per their policy. This was a lie. We called and found out . Seems they just didnt want to take a check from a black man. Not knowing they lied he still bought the car and now doesnt exactly feel good about giving Walser his business.

We were greeted by a friendly woman at the door right away and were connected immediately with a salesman. My husband and I had done alot of research ahead of time and had narrowed down our selection of cars we wanted and told the guy helping us what we were looking for in a vehicle, what options, etc. After a brief computer search of their inventory we found some cars that we were interested in and took a test drive. We were going to test other vehicles at other dealerships during the week before we made our decision but after hearing about all the great offers Walser had that were expiring/changing by the end of the month we decided to skip going elsewhere and bought a car the next day as things were selling fast. Our salesman, Sean, was very nice and knew all the answers to our questions and was very knowledgable about the details of the cars. We are very happy with the service and price we got from Walser and would highly recommend them.

Garrett listened to what I was seeking and had several suggestions for me to look at. I had no choice but to stop, and I can not say enough good things about them. My wife and I had been debating trading in our 2012 GMC Acadia for something more efficient and reliable. We looked at many different dealerships online and found Walter to have THE BEST offers and incentives. I called and spoke with Garret Mascarenas over the phone Monday at 1p and said we’d like to come in at 2:30 that afternoon to look at a specific 2019 Terrain. He said he’d pull the vehicle up front and have it ready for us to drive. He gave us the up front pricing, explained how the dealer incentives work with financing, and we got a fair price for our trade. By 4:15 we made an easy decision and he filed the paperwork to get financing set up. We left to pick our son up from school and have supper. By 6:00p we returned and everything was ready to sign. We were finished by 7:00p, happy as could be and not a doubt or second thought in our minds that this was the best decision we could make. I would like to give a shout out the the Walser Buick GMC Bloomington sales and finance team. I couldn't have had a better experience. Cassie Smith our sales person greeted my husband an I at the door. We told Cassie what I was looking for and immediately she had me test driving the Buick Regal 2.0 Turbo that I wanted. Last time I bought a new car I sat for hours waiting for multiple people to help us with the buying process. This was not the case at Walser. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change. I checked in with the Service desk when I arrived and they told me to wait inside and they would come see me momentarily. I waited for 15 minutes and then a gentleman came in and told me that the oil change would be finished in about an hour and a half. Not expecting an oil change to take this long, I got irritated and shared my frustration (keep in mind Jiffy Lube takes 15 minutes and this is your competition). Long story short, he apparently accommodated me because they were finished in about 45 minutes which I was appreciative of. That said, what is the point in making an appointment if you still end up sitting there for 90+ minutes. You need to figure this out or you won't continue to have oil change Customers.

I have to voice my frustration with your service department today. I will say that the personnel I dealt with were very professional and my issue is not with them. I called this morning (Monday, August 26th) to see when the earliest availability was to get my Terrain in to get a wheel bearing fixed. I was told on the phone that the service department had multiple appointments available for today, so I took the earliest one, which was 1pm. I asked for an estimated time that the car would be done so I could plan my sleep (I work nights.) and was told 2 hours, maybe 2 1/2. I know how cars work so I was expecting closer to 3-4 hours, and had no issue with that. I dropped my car off with Steve at 1pm, and was quoted again 2- 2 1/2 hours. He asked if I was going to wait with the car or leave, and at that point I wasn’t sure. I ended up leaving, which I’m glad I did now. At 4 pm I still hadn’t heard an update, not even confirming that it was in fact a wheel bearing that was bad, so I texted the courtesy number that Steve had texted me from. I still didn’t hear anything so I called my uber to take me back down because I assumed it had to be done soon. I get to the service department at 430pm, and was told my car hadn’t even been touched yet. I am beyond frustrated-not because it hadn’t been touched- again, I understand things come up. I am frustrated that I was scheduled for an appointment in the first place. I called at 930am, and was told there were multiple times available today when in reality, I was told at 430 that they had “many cars left over from Saturday.” If I had known that there was a chance my car may not be fixed today, I would have scheduled it for a different day. How can you schedule someone and quote them confidently with 2 hours when you have cars that are still left over from the weekend? I should have been told that they were booked, or at least informed that they were busy and my car may not be done today- problem solved. My second frustration is that in the 3.5 hours my car was untouched, which is now 1 hour over my estimated time, I was not contacted. I should have been called/texted/emailed that they were running behind. I really should have been told that when I dropped my car off at 1pm, but I digress. I spent just under $50 on Uber’s to bring me back home and back to the dealer for absolutely nothing. That money was wasted, when all along your service department knew how busy they were and likely would not get to my car. I asked the (very nice) gentleman at the counter “would my car even be looked at today?” And he said no. I just don’t understand how you can schedule someone, AND quote them 2-3 hours and then not touch the car in 3.5 and not contact them. I wasted an entire afternoon and $50 to end up with a car that’s not fixed. I’m so thankful I didn’t wait at the dealership, because I would have been waiting for nothing until when, closing? That’s when they would tell me they wouldn’t get to my car? I’m frustrated because I rave about Walser and how smoothly the buying process was and how nice people are, and I just feel duped. It would have been so easy to tell me that it was extremely busy- I would have gladly scheduled for another day. It would have also been easy to call me after even an hour and tell me that they were just too busy and the car wouldn’t be looked at today. I would have had no issue. Now I have an appointment for a different shop tomorrow, and I will not be returning to your service department in the future.

I’ve had some pretty awful experiences with car dealerships lately, but WOW was I floored by the service I received here. I worked with Larkin and Zach and they couldn’t have given us a better experience. They were both friendly, down to earth, transparent and honest. It honestly felt like I was just hanging out with some friends the whole time. They were visibly very busy, and Zach seemed to be helping multiple people all at once, and had a smile on his face the entire time. I scheduled a basic $35 oil change. When I arrived, the service writers had me scheduled for a more expensive $50 oil change + tire rotation. When I told the service writer that he had the wrong service, he went to two other service writers and they told me that the only option was the oil change + tire rotation; there was no basic oil change. I had to show them on the Walser Buick website that there was a basic $35 oil change. When your service writers do not even understand the basic services that you offer it does not make me confident in your shop. Secondly, when I had my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation last fall, I was told that it had a loose tie rod that needed replacing. I chose not to replace it at that time, so I expected to hear something about it this time. However, when I picked up my truck I was told that everything in the multi-point inspection checked out fine. So, that tells me that either someone lied last fall when they told me that I had a loose tie rod, or someone did not perform the inspection that they claim they did this time. Either way, it does not make me confident in Walser GMC. I have brought my truck to you for six years but I no longer have faith in your service department.

After the oil change and on my drive home, the check engine light came on. I called you when I got home and was told to come back immediately to have you look at it. When I got back to the dealership, your technician said they did not have time or personnel to look at the problem. The service manager cleared the light and said it would happen again because the idle was too low(??). It has not happened again and the truck runs great.

would be less if i could. In October we had a torque converter replaced by Walser in a 2013 GMC Acadia. On the first long distance drive (190 miles one way) we had a issue that felt like we were walking and some one was tugging at us, is best way to describe it. So we brought it into the service department at Walser GMC Buick, again, service technician determined it was the transmission, so we had it replaced. almost 2 weeks later we got the car back, know this car was running and driving (may have not been properly, but it ran) got the car back on 3/12/19, my wife drove it maybe 20 miles and had no issues. On Friday 3/15/19 she went to bring our kids to school and the car would not unlock doors with fob, had to manually unlock doors (which caused alarm to sound), put key in ignition and after 4 tries it started, but she had no dash lights, no hud display, no power to the radio, the service air bags light was on as well as the security icon. we returned to the service department and was charged $130(veterans discount yeah) for them to tell us that it was the blind spot sensor module (that has been broken for a year waiting on part, like the other how many out there the same way) not allowing it to start. Have had to have it towed home (still making payments on it) can not get it to start, have had 3 other ASE mechanics look at it as well as a Transmission tech (all the time laughing at the diagnosis) and telling me the same thing " Is a 1 in a million chance that it would cause it not to start" it is a grounding issue, something not programmed right, wires pinched or got broken when transmission was installed. So guess what, they want to charge me to fix what they broke , charge me for a rental, because they don't have the balls to admit what they did. Need to add this as well, sent a message to GMC corporate customer service, they tried to contact and resolve the issue as well, but like me was unsuccessful with dealing with Kieth the service manager. The response got from them was to contact Dealer manager or dealer legal services. So i still have a GMC Acadia sitting in my driveway not running (oh yeah,can get it to start after trying 6 or more times) and the security shuts it down so wont start again or open with key FOB.

My appointment was to take care of the huge mistake in my service warranty and to repair the side detection system (which would be covered under my service warranty). When I arrived for the appointment, no one knew anything about the service contract problem and the person I had been dealing with no longer worked at that dealership. The repair was done and I finally (had to insist) got a copy of the corrected service contract, but I'm concerned that it was an unsigned copy. I also asked that Walser do SOMETHING to make up for the fact that for the past 3 years my service contract was not for my car, a huge mistake by the dealership. I have heard nothing.

They really deserve 0 stars. Poor business ethics. Test drove and did financing on a truck. Didn't like my rate so was willing to have my wife drive down to co sign for a better rate, it was 8:15 pm was told not to worry about it and that they would hold it and run the new financing in the morning. Received a call from the sale agent to only be informed they instead sold the truck to someone that morning instead. Also learned that my agent got talked to about not trying to push more on the high interest rate and for suggesting a Co signer. POOR BUSINESS ETHICS! Andre offered little but an "I am sorry I wish I would have known more details." They didn't even inform the agent they knew was working with me until he arrived and work and the truck was sold.
