My SantaFe was in for a software upgrade due to a recall. The upgrade took less than an hour and my car was washed and ready for me when I got back after enjoying happy hour at a local eatery. I was glad I didn't have to bother the Sales dept to get my keys, or return the next morning. The car appears to be driving better.

Great Experience buying a vehicle from Luther Hyundai in Bloomington. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were greeted at the door with a warm welcome and an offer of water or coffee and immediately taken to our sales person for help. Kassia was amazing with financing as well. Worst experience I ever had. Visited Hyundai Dealership, Bloomington in last month. Test driven Hyundai Sonata for $ 50 FREE GIFT CARD PROMOTION, never received and made a complaint to Store Manager, still no response. SUCH A BAD MANAGEMENT. I was lied to when I bought my car here. I paid for a 4 year warranty and was told that it would cover oil changes and regular maintenance. I have to go back a second time in order to sign paper work to get my money back for the warranty otherwise I would've been late for work. Did they offer me anything for the hassle? NOPE!! They did everything they could to convince me to keep the warranty. What a joke

I've been a Luther customer for a few years having my old chevy serviced at the Brooklyn Park location. Since we now live in South Bloomington, when it came time for a new car I looked at Toyotas, Subarus, Mazdas, Chevys, and Hyundais but at dealers closer to home. Finally decided on Hyundai Elantra GT. Service at Luther Hyundai has always been excellent and that went into the decision. Great personnel to help me through the process. Neat little car. I love it. My car wouldn't start and needed to be towed in. Austin knew the situation, helped me get a loaner and texted me as progress was made. I knew what was going on and when my car would be ready. When I cam ti pick the car up Louie, the person who worked on it, told me what happened and instructed me about what I should look for in the future. Everything worked smoothly. Tracy was a great guy to work with. They include a standard 5 day return policy plus a small warranty, which is nice. Everyone was friendly and they have a good used and new car selection. Found a great used car for a very fair price. These guys were all very professional and not pushy at all. I would definitely do business with Luther Bloomington Hyundai again, but, knock on wood, I probably won't have to buy another car for a while. WARNING: Long detailed review! Update 5/24/2019: Incorrectly posted to the Burnsville Hyundai dealer. Was brought to my attention and is now posted to the correct Bloomington Hyundai dealer. Today, 1/25/2019, I searched for a 2019 Hyundai Veloster N online and saw that Luther Burnsville Hyundai had one. I called and got a hold of a sales rep by the name of A.K. I went to look at it and test drove it with the sales rep A.K. I had a 2013 Audi S5 trade-in which they offered me $18,500 for. Since I still owe more than what was offered, the trade-in would tack on another $5000 to the final price, which I was OK with. When we started the paperwork, they listed the car as $30,983 to which I pointed out the price discrepancy between their website ad of the car, which offered a Luther discount of $1098 that brought down the price down to $29,885. The finance guy, Chad, figured out the $30,983 price included a clear bra and window tint installation fee. He said that he couldn't list the car for sale on the receipt as the advertised price of $29,885 and that it needed to be listed as $30,983. But not to worry, he would essentially give me a discount of $1098 which will bring the price back down to the advertised price on their website. This was fine with me, as long as the final out-the-door price did not increase which at this point was about $36,5xx. I asked for them to remove the installed Pulse technology system ($299 for a special hardware installed by the 3rd brake light to pulse the brake light when you step on the brake pedal, which I find useless as I can pulse it myself for free by manual pedal modulation) but they said that they can uninstall it in other cars but not on the Veloster N because it was different. How is it that an aftermarket part can be installed but not able to be removed? I went along with the B.S. and didn't make a big deal of it. The sales rep A.K. came back a few times for clarifications for my loan application. Another gentlemen came and introduced himself (forgot the name) and said that the price online was a mistake, but I would still get the car for the $37K that we agreed on. Wait, what?! I clearly remembered A.K. and I discussing the $36,5xx final price. This is when the finance guy came back and said that he could not give me the discount he mentioned before, but I was still given about $500 off instead of the whole $1098. This increased the original amount of $36,5xx to $37,xxx. They played it like it was no big deal. I did not purchase the vehicle and left. I'm now home writing this review, and the 2019 Hyundai Veloster N is now no longer listed on their website. That's OK though, because they forgot to pull their autotrader ad, which is still going for the same advertised price they had on their site displaying both the MSRP of $30,983 and the discounted price of $29,885 (link below). Is it normal for dealers not to honor their own prices? Is it a communications issue? Or is this the classic case of bait and switch? I've always tried avoiding dealers because of scenarios like this one, but this car was a special one and I really wanted it. Unfortunately my opinions of dealers are still valid. I will be avoiding Luther Burnsville Hyundai going forward, and maybe even the Hyundai brand. 5 stars for the test drive, minus 3 for the sales antics and having to convince the manager to let me test drive. Notes: A.K.'s manager initially wouldn't let me test drive the car, stating that the summer tires aren't good for winter driving. I had to convince him to let me drive it. I get that these are rare cars for now, but how do you expect to sell it without the buyer test driving it? Edit: In hindsight, I now believe all the interactions and the misquotes I received, especially from the guy randomly introducing himself to me so that he can shock me with a price increase to ease my transition to it is intentional.

We came in for a specific midsize vehicle and were offering 30% down; they allegedly could not obtain a loan for us for this car, but somehow could obtain a loan for a compact that was twice the price, or others that were even more. We would have gladly considered a midsize for a bit more, but at the end of the day it seemed like they didn’t hear what we were looking for in a car and what we said would work financially for our family. They were very kind and welcoming, but did not accommodate us well or listen/ try to meet our needs.

drove 4 hours to pick up the car, I was paying cash so made sure they weren’t gonna run my credit because I was in the process of refinancing my home, they said they would not! When I arrived I looked at the car and accepted the pre negotiated price. Romelo gave me some things to fill out at which time I saw a area for my social security number . So I asked him once again if he would be running my credit and he said no it’s to verify my name and ID since I’m paying cash for the car! after that I met with the other closing associate, for the 3rd time I asked if he ran my credit and he said no it’s just verifying my name again and added that he only checked mine and not my wife’s. on the way home both my wife and I got notifications for hard inquiries on our credit!

Went in to purchase a used vehicle and trade in a fully paid off Infiniti with all the bells and whistles. I explained I wanted something larger and while they did not have anything that would match my needs they would look around. The sales agent was super nice and very approachable but was showing me vehicles that I would not drive for the life of me such as a Chevy Captiva. I think he was trying to make a sale rather then find me what I was looking for.

The other sales personnel that I conversed with that day while visiting were also very receptive and also excellent connoisseur's of customer service. This dealership is decades ahead of the competition in customer service in so many ways, a concierge service for maintenance? Yes, they come to you, grab your car, give you a loaner and then deliver your completed car back to you. Unbelievable. I can't say I am happy with the service at Bloomington Hyundai/Genesis. I leased a car from them in 2016, and yes it was a wonderful experience. The guy helped me was really nice and helpful. However, when my lease was due, they were no help at all. It was my first time leasing a car, and I tried to contact them multiple times regarding the lease, because I wasn't sure what I had to do. I emailed them, called them, left voicemails. Not once they got back to me. after a long try, finally I spoke with one person and she told me she isn't the person who is assigned to my account, so she couldn't be of much help. Then I contacted the person who was assigned to my lease, and i never heard back after multiple tries. It was rather disappointing because I felt they were not very enthusiastic as much when it came to the return of the car. I ended up calling Hyundai Motor and got all the information I needed. The day when I went to the dealership to return the vehicle, they seemed to not care much at all. So I returned the car and came back home. It was not a good experience at all. I don't think I'm gonna go back there next time.

I have found this establishment to lack severe honesty and integrity. Not only was I lied to about the availability of a car I was interested in when purchasing, getting my car serviced for a recall and warranty covered part was also a nightmare. The service manager claimed the failed part was not an original or warranty covered part without even checking the serial number. It took getting the GM involved to even begin resolving the multitude of issues that had arisen. Would definitely recommend going anywhere other than this dealership.

The hard working sales people on the floor are decent, like Andy and AK. The upper management sucks. Sales manager never showed his face, general manager doesn't return calls, finance manager won't return calls after multiple messages. They'll rush you right through the purchase, then you're a thing of the past. Only brand name dealership where I haven't gotten a full tank of gas with a Certified Pre-owned vehicle purchase. Had I not been right in the area, and found a vehicle to my liking, I would've, and should've shopped elsewhere. If you do shop here, look for Andy Jones or AK as your sales people. They are hard working. Upper management are the slackers here, and faceless individuals who don't value their customers.

Bought the new car and needed to have some extras installed in it so an appointment was made for me to drop off my car and get a loaner while mine was being serviced. I drove into the bay, was met right away and go everything done in a 1/2 hour and I was leaving with the loaner. The next day I got a call saying my car was done and could be picked up. I went to the dealer and turned in the loaner and picked up my car. I was very pleased that everything went so fast and smooth.

This is the second time I asked for the correct tire pressure on my tires and both times was way off. Also, there was a large grease stain on the back bumper after getting my car back from service. I just spent $200 to have it detailed before taking it to dealership. I will not be going back to hyundai bloomington again for service. If genesis plans on competing with BMW 3 series or Mercedes than they need better quality care of the newer genesis models when they come in for service. I will now be taking my G70 to St. Louis park dealership for service. Very disappointed with the service from Bloomington hyundai service department.

Only one complaint - there are only 5 stars available for Carrie M. and she deserves 10 or more. I've just finished the arduous (to me anyway) task of visiting multiple dealerships seeing multiple makes and models and I found dealing at Bloomington Hyundai the most pleasant of all - starring, of course, Carrie but everyone there was pleasant and helpful and left me feeling comfortable that I had been dealt with fairly and honestly. I cannot say the same of some of the other dealerships I met with. Carrie and the rest gave me most of a their day's time from saying hello to watching drive off in my new Tucson. Yet they never made me feel that I was asking for too much time. Carrie even spent an hour just teaching me the various electronics. My last new car was "here are the keys and manual and have a good life." Thank you for all, Carrie!

Austin in Service went the extra mile for me. Check engine light went on Thanksgiving night. I tried calling for an appointment but hold wait was a constant loop or nothingburger.
