Oil & filter plus tire rotation completed. Service advise was very nice & friendly. The service was completed in 50 minutes. They also did an inspection, which I was told that everything was fine. But, we know there is defiantly something wrong with the cars suspension. We were surprised they didn't say anything. KIA SOULS 2010-2014 are known for their poor suspensions. Makes for a rough ride and then some.

Im sorry but I have to change my review. I would hate for anyone else to go through what I've gone through. When I leased my car we got great service. Now, 2 months later and my NEW car (2019 sorento) is in the shop due to a manufacturer defect and will need a new engine and the help I've recieved has made me seriously regret going to Kia in the first place. The loaner car I've been given isn't adequate for my families needs, we don't get calls back for the dealership, and we've been told it could be 3 MONTHS before I get my car back!!! Personally I think they should redo my lease with a different sorento WITHOUT engine troubles and fix the car to resell it.

Would not go there if it was the last place to buy a car ! They did a oil change on my mother in laws new car . Forgot to tighten the drain plug , she drove it home blew up the motor and now can't get a motor for it . Its the same song and dance we hear every month from them . The oil change was 6 months ago ! They at least gave her a car to use . But her car is nicer and haves more options . Buyer beware !

Wouldn't recommend kia for a car owned 3 brand new and all turned to be problem cars bought a off the showroom floor 2017 Kia soul driving home transmission blew called the dealer they gave me corporate number said they just sell the cars 2014 Kia forte engine blew at 75000 I always had up kept well 2016 Kia soul nothing but electrical problems you get what you pay for

I went into KIA with high hopes. I had heard great things. It really upsets me that it was not a good, in fact was a horrible experience for me. I'm very dissatisfied with KIA of Duluth. They sold me a car that I had to put extra money into before leaving the lot. They were supposed to do alignment, and they said they would pay for it, but I was billed instead. It has bad struts replaced which they had me pay for. I was assured they vehicle would be safe upon leaving the lot, this was vitally important as they knew I was getting on the highway to go to ND with my two minor children. After getting on the highway a little ways towards my destination I felt it fishtailing on the back end, I thought this was due to road conditions. So I continued a little ways and noticed this was still happening on pavement. I thought reducing speed would help, but it persisted. I had to find a GMC dealership. To make this long story short, GMC advised me that the alignment was never done and on top of that, the bushings were gone, the tires were tilting in towards the frame, and the control arm was shot. Basically, I spent twice as much in repairs as I did to get the car off the lot. On top of that, when I called them to ask for reimbursement I was hung up on. I am not happy with KIA, nor would I recommend them to anyone. They put my family in jepojepo, and this is unforgivable.

I wasnt told about certian issues with the car when i boughtbit just that 8ts strutts were bad, well its been in the shop twice for heat issues and i found out today that they knew the stabilizer bars were bad and one even missing. I wasnt told the full scale problems before i bought it and now im lookin at over a thousand dollars to get it fixed. This was my first time buying a car and it has not been a good one.

I went to Kia of Duluth every 500 miles for months so they could conduct a long-term oil consumption test to potentially use my powertrain warranty for an issue. The result was that it wasn't warrantied, but that wasn't even the problem. The problem was Kia of Duluth's utter lack of professionalism, communication, responsiveness, and their manager's defensiveness and aggression when questioned. I ended up relying on Kia of America's Consumer Affairs division to even get a call back from the dealer. Their service representatives incorrectly conducted this test for for months (which I only found out once they ultimately denied my claim), the service manager did not return phone calls, and I truly believe that their ineptitude and mishandling of my situation effected my chances of filing a warranty claim. If you have to work with their service department, document *everything* and rely on Kia of America early and often to hold them accountable. You can't trust their service representatives to do their job competently or look out for the customer's best interest.

Buying a used vehicle here was the worst possible experience I've ever had with a dealer. I found out that a carfax isn't worth the paper it's printed on. I purchased a 2015 dodge journey w 42000 miles on it. The carfax stated the vehicle had pervious very minor cosmetic damage. I purchased a trailer package to be installed by them after the sale. Upon trying 2 different hitches, neither would fit. The service Tech realized the rear frame horn was tweaked on the right rear. The carfax stated the minor cosmetic damage was on the left rear. The sales manager Cory wouldn't work with me at all. They did straighten the frame and install hitch. I therefore am stuck with a vehicle that had serious damage to it and paid top dollar book price for it. Buyer beware. Once you sign the purchase agreement and they have your money, YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK. Cory the sales manager is the type of dealer you often hear about. My advice, buy elsewhere. I'm a 70 yr old Veteran

I am so IRATE!! I bought a car from Kia 10 months ago and have already had it in the shop 5 TIMES, forked out money, lost time and work, and the first 4 times it was in the shop they wouldn't even provide a loaner!! Try to call and they won't answer or call me back! Stay away from Kia, I am positive their "certified pre-owned" car I bought was in a prior accident they failed to tell us! UGH!!! Nothing but problems at this point and have contacted an attorney :(

Don’t go to Kia of Duluth unless you want to be lied too . We bought a 2014 Kia Soul from them and we haven’t for the car for a month and we need to buy all new 4 tires and I’m sure that Kia of Duluth knew about the tires on the car we bought and they lied to us about it the tires they said the tires had 10,000 miles left of the tires . I tried talking to the dealership about it they said they could do anything about it . If I can’t trust the salesperson how can I trust getting my car service do thru them

My transmission went out on my car on my way to work one morning. I was devastated. My credit was not great and my income is not that high. So I was a bit skeptical if I would be eligible for a car loan. I was working with a young man, who really went to bat for me. Fritz. I was treated with respect and kindness from the moment I walked in the door. When they came back with a quote on monthly payments I explained to them that I really couldn't afford that high of payments, they again stepped up to the plate to make it happen for me and contacted several places to see if they could get a lower payment for me. They made it happen. I love my car and I wouldn't go anywhere else in the future. Kia is where I get my cars from now on.

We purchased a 2013 Soul in April 2013, two years out I have mixed feelings regarding smaller details, but like the car overall after fixing those "Details". Both the battery and the tires are cheap. I was told I couldn't "short trip' the car because it would kill the battery. Seriously? That was June of 2014 I believe. We bought a better quality battery and have had no issues. Next, the tires are Hankooks which are a name brand, but they are meant for southern cars and smooth roads. These tires literally pulled on those ridges on the freeway and were useless in the snow because they are a very hard tire. After discussing the options of all seasons and summer and winter swapping we decided to put new Snows all around last fall (which are a softer rubber), rotate and care done by Sam's Club and cannot believe the difference in handling year round! Made the ride so much better that within the first five miles of driving it with the new tires I threw the others out. Didn't even want anyone else to suffer them. The mileage is great since most of my driving is in and around town and I still hover around 30 mpg. The savings alone made this a worthwhile buy and tho I would recommend a Soul to anyone, I would also recommend replacing tires and battery before it stalls you or leaves you stuck! I have had great follow up service and my appointments go smoothly with the service department. Like that they check everything and give me the option to change filters etc when necessary. First time I ever heard of a cabin filter! :-) Overall I am satisfied with my little "Alien Green" Soul and probably will keep it till they start making prettier colors like flecked purple, pink or aqua!! lol

My husband and I bought two vehicles from Kia of Duluth. Shortly after we bought the second one he died. I brought one back and sold it back to them. We had purchased the extended warranty and had used nine of it. The manager was so kind as to to refund 100.00 + or - out of the over 1,000.00. Then was right down rude to my friend when she questioned why such a small refund! I would never recommend Kia of Duluth to any one!

This place is wonderful. We were in the area on vacation when we discovered a nail in our tire. We have tires that use nitrous not air and this limits our choices for fixing our leak. After calling many locations within the area another dealership told me this particular dealership had nitrous so I gave them a call. I told them our problem and they told us to bring it on in. Once we arrived the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We made ourselves comfortable in the lounge. We were expecting to spend a lengthy amount of time. We were so happy and thankful they got us in and back on our vacation in about 40 min. Thank you so much!

Drove 3 hours to view a luxury BMW 335i and it wouldn't run when we got there. They knew we were coming. Had an appointment. Also had a large dent that they failed to tell us about, and was not in any of the 30 pictures of the car online. hmmm. Sketchy? So they get the car running and tell me happily "it's fixed". I replied "oh?" Manager says "yep, it's the idler pulley, cheap to fix". That won't make it not start so this is now issue #3 with the car and I told him I still hadn't heard the f'er run yet. He told me i didn't have to buy the car and should leave! Wow Yanno, that thought had already crossed my mind, but good sales tactic. I asked for the key to our trade that we drove up there in, and he repeated about 10 times that I need to leave, I was trespassing! What a joke.

The service department is terrible! Some of the service people you have to work with are rude and seem not to care that they are being rude. Also told me that I owed them $500 before they would even work on my care in the past I have never had to pay money up front and when I asked for a quote one person told me I only needed to $375 and the next person told me $500. Also one person told me that they were going to send in the parts for me, once I gave then approval on Thursday and I called Monday to check on things and to see if I could get a loaner and they had not done anything. After this last experience I will be selling my Kia as soon as they are done fixing it (if that ever happens) and telling others not to buy them. Very unhappy with the last several times having to deal with the services department.

Absolutely horrible. I have dealt with the service department for nearly a year and a half and not had the engine tapping fixed and 150 mile per tank gas consumption and hesitation and transmission sticking and bad wheel bearing noise all in a vehicle i purchased with only 30k miles on it. They strung me along not ever repairing the gas and engine knock issue and telling me I must be unlucky with vehicles. From the get go they denied hearing any noise and then after several times of it being in service for extended lengths of time they admitted the noise was there and discovered several factors that contributed to the issue. after two months and thus totaling over 130 days in the service department the issue still remained. I scheduled yet again another service appointment hesitantly after this last extended length in "repair".. At this point I was told i must be the issue. I've been a mechanic for a number of years. I know engines. I told them the contributing factors that they eventually discovered right from the beginning for God sakes.. I had heard the bearing noise originally however not the tapping/knocking it was mainly upon start up and upon test drive they already had it running for me.. which I always say never trust a vehicle already warmed up for you.. start it yourself and listen from a cold start.. I had to reschedule the appointment for another day due to family resons but that very night my engine exploded and caught fire. I informed kia of duluth and they said sorry you're out of the warranty now... SERIOUSLY DISPLEASED Don't ever mention attorneys if being screwed over by them because they will become irate toward you and company policy is to cut all communication with any customer who says or mentions the word. This was told to me directly by Kia of Duluth employees.

Worst sales guy ever. I was looking for a six or seven seater vehicle ( crossover) . I ask about what they had available. The sales guy spent a half hour asking us information. Repeated the same questions and insisted on pulling up a vehicle to the front for us to look at. He would not tell us the options they had. He told me that I need to look online!!!! So I said ok and walked out. Before this he kept asking me about credit at least 3 times. I told him I had no issue and I had already given him a budget. Also THE PROBLEM with looking online at there web site is that it does not give any information about seating capacity for the vehicles or a way to search that. I definitely will never even consider buying from there

In my experience, buying a new car at KIA Duluth was cloaked in hidden issues. It was not my first new car, and I thought it would be a similar experience to buying from Honda. It was not. The salesman was pleasant enough, and answered my questions, but finance was cloaked in obscurity. Since rates for my loan were higher than I liked, the agent assured me I could refinance after 6 months with my bank. Not So! I later discovered that I had 10 negative hits on my credit score because of their process. I bought an Optima Hybrid. The car runs alright. It doesn’t handle well on wintery Wisconsin roads, it has minimal trunk space. The mileage was better when I first got it; now it is getting about 32 mpg. Maybe it is because of icy roads. It is difficult to see out of the windows, there is no rear wiper and I go through a lot of washer fluid. When I purchased the vehicle, I asked when I should return for maintenance and was told, “We’ll let you know. We’ll contact you.” I put a lot of miles on my car, so I wanted a heads up about service. They did finally call four months after my purchase to schedule an oil change. I suspect I may have voided my warrantee since I have 11,000 miles already. So, my evaluation: Car = fair, Sales = good, Finance = poor, Service = poor.

Told him i live that far away and im not coming down untill you can get me into something. Oh don't worry he says, can get ya into something new.... So Drove 2 hrs to get there and then the run around begins! Sat there for 2 hrs to get told i need 5k down. If I had 5k to put down I sure wouldnt buy a pos Kia. What a rip off and waste of time. Then the sales guy wants to get a attitude with me and wife when I confront them! Worst experience ever.

We recently purchased a brand new 2016 KIA Sportage LX AWD from KIA of Duluth. I am totally in love with this car!! This is my first new car since 2001! We always thought our credit wasn't that great, so why even bother. We felt we could more than handle car payments. So, with a visit just to look at vehicles, KIA of Duluth listened well and found us a cute crossover that would fit our needs with an affordable payment! Cory Clark was very helpful and understanding. He could not believe we were still driving old vehicles when we both had great jobs. The staff there was very courteous, kind and straight forward. We bought our KIA Sodona Van and we love, love, love it. We get great gas milage. Took a trip to Iowa and we were getting around 30-33 mpg. The ride is smooth. The KIA employees are all great to work with. They are enjoyable, dependable and knowlegable, informative, friendly and great to work with. Our sales rep is Joey he guided us through the art of purchasing a vehicle. KIA should be very proud of him. He did a wonderful job for us. Kia of Duluth told me and my family we were approved for a car. they didn't say we needed a credit score of 750 or higher or $1500 down. we drove down there knowing our car was in bad shape and would make it down there but not back home. we ended up stranded because the lady there said to come down and we needed nothing but ids and some cash down. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

I took time on Saturday to come in to Kia- I thought despite what I had heard I would give it a chance. When my family and I arrived, we were not greeted, we did not get any sense of comfort. We looked around the lot and a man came up asking what he could help with.. I told him the vehicle I was interested in and he went in and grabbed some paper work. He then asked me my name and I said what my name was- He replied "Oh, you have an appt with Caleb." At that point we were pushed in the door before I was able even to look at the vehicle I was interested in. He brought us to Caleb's desk, We walked by the receptionist not so much as a word of greeting or a smile. Caleb didn't seem interested in me and what I wanted. He was not giving me any indication of what he was doing and kept walking back and forth without saying a word. Finally my mom asked him what was going on and the finance person said "This isn't a five minute process" in a snarky voice. We weren't assuming it was a quick process although I will say we would have liked to have been treated with much more respect. I left there frustrated and unhappy. Kia is a very busy Auto sales and repairs business. It is in a very tight section of Duluth and parking is tighter. Inside there is a comfortable waiting room while your vehicle is being worked on. I was only there to wait on my son to go on his lunch break.

Dishonest liars, when you buy a car as is and ask what problems there are with a vehicle and intentionally mislead you and dont tell ya is bullcrap. Also the testimonials on kia of duluths website are fixed and relatives of employees should not count so all around the testimonials are fake and dishonest just like the sales department. Ask for a carfax and they will make excuses.

I scheduled to have a fuel efficiency test done before my 60,000 mile warranty was up. I made the appointment for 8am and was told it would be done around noon so that I could have it picked back up. I had to ask a family member for a ride at four to pick my car up. After noon I had called twice and left two messages indicating I would be there at four to pick it up and that I would appreciate a call back such that I would know the status of my car. I arrived at four and the test was STILL not completed. I had to wait an hour while someone drove my car around to complete the fuel efficiency test. I finally got the car back at 5pm, and was told that the test showed that my median range was 22mpg and that it was only driven for 40 miles instead of the 80 which was promised to me when I scheduled the appointment. When I got into my car, the fuel efficiency read as being 20 mpg. I feel as though the service I received was not equivalent to the service I was promised, and I am not happy about the fact that I called twice and left messages and did not receive a courtesy call. Additionally, they had my vehicle all day, and waited until 4pm, when I arrived to pick it up, to send someone to drive my car to determine the gas efficiency; thus why I had to wait there for an hour. I am thoroughly displeased that when I got into my car the fuel efficiency read to be 20 and not 22 mpg, which is what was stated on the receipt. I can take into account that the reading is not always accurate, however through my own testing I have found that reading to be highly accurate. I am certain that my car is actually getting a median of 20mpg and that they estimated it to be 22 simply to get out of having to do more work. It was a terrible experience and I wish there was another dealership to which my warranty would apply so that I can get a second opinion.

He made us feel very comfortable and never once pressured us. He really showed interest in our life and situation. I would recommend him to everyone!! Calvin from the finance department was knowledgeable and an did an awesome job at getting us the best deal possible. We had a tight budget with a new baby and they stuck to it. ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE EVER. I bought a 2007 nissan sentra 2.0 in jan. It was apparently a great buy. 170000 miles 24 months warranty drivetrain. And 36 months payments. 3 months later. Bad trany, bad hubcaps, burned through oil, bad cam sensor, stopped starting, didnt start a month ago the time chain snapped, 22 days later im finally getting my car back , ive called numerous times always to be put on hold , and many other issues . Im EIGHLY DISSATISFIED 6 months later after getting the car Avoid them. Espeacially corey at kia of Duluth

Well funny you asked me for a review today... Car won't start and just got done with work I will be towing it there tomorrow....then you can fix the multitude of issues that you never told me about and the reason why it won't start... All for 100$ according to your service plan but we will see.. Update* they did fix what was wrong with it for 100$ as agreed upon. Afterwards the engine blew and I tried to contact them to see if there was anything they could do since I was out of the warranty by a few hundred miles. Contacted via phone multiple times and email multiple times and received not one call back or email back. Be very wary of what you buy there and bring a trusted mechanic to check it out. Oh and watch out, if you ask to have it detailed before you get back to purchase all they did for me was vacuum and shampoo the passenger and driver side carpet. Would not advise buying a used car here but have no experience with the new. Thanks

I walked in asking for a truck and the dealer only showed me two cars. As I needed a vehicle I bought a used car. Paid way more than I should have and then had issues with the car upon leaving the dealership. Its a hatchback car and you would think they would have replaced the rear wiper... but that wasnt the worst of it. After driving away and pressing the brake their was a clicking noise coming from the brakes that wasnt there two hours before-hand when I test drove the car. I brought it in and they said their mechanic looked it over and although they could hear the noise, there was nothing wrong with it. I asked them if they consider that noise normal. They said ofcourse not... then something is broken... but they wouldn't fix anything... crooks... never going back.

I was recently shopping for a new car. Kia was pretty good, they even let me take the car home for the weekend to test it out. But then the car didn't start the next morning and I had a terrible time getting a hold of anyone to help. When I finally got a hold of someone, they didn't seem particularly concerned or apologetic. That kind of soured me on the experience. I would def still recommend them though.

If you're a die hard Kia buyer, you won't mind the experience. I found the experience to be overwhelming. I felt like I had walked into a carnival show. All the salesman looked at you like vultures going in for the kill. My wife said she felt like a peice of meat. They were pushy, impatient and rude. I got to meet the infamous Correy that people have talked about in Google reviews. I can see why people say what they say about him.

We've been to several different car dealers in the area over the pass few years. . . . trying to get approved. Never did we receive the level of excellent customer service as we did recently at Kia of Duluth! Even after after seeing our less than perfect credit, they treated us with the utmost respect and bent over backwards getting us into a vehicle. . . the same day! I was feeling under the weather and Petra & Calvin even went to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable. Petra, our sales rep, was very sweet and knowledgeable in vehicle's & Calvin was excellent in working out the financing. Thank you! I am still in shock that you were able to get us into a 2013 vehicle which is better than we anticipated.....and drove it home that day. I recently purchased a new Optima. My salesman was good and I initially loved the car (and still do unless the weather gets too cold). The service department is terrible. Every time I need warranty work it takes at least two appointments to get it completed. The 1st appointment is to make sure your not lying to them about the problem and the 2nd appointment to actually do the work. During our recent cold wave I discovered the car would turn over slowly at -20 and not even turn over at -25. In the past 2 weeks the service dept has told me: block heaters won't help and aren't recommended, Kia's shouldn't be driven at those temps, I need to get a heated garage and most recently to put burning charcoal in a pan and slide it under the engine. I was also told that if I had it towed in (100+ miles) and they got it started that they would have the tow charged back to me. Needless to say, I would not recommend the dealership to anyone or the car to anyone living in a cold climate.

But respond to almost every positive one "hope to see you soon" I bet you do $$$$, great work clicking on the auto template and then clicking post!!! Why do you lie about where Kia's are made? Instead of defending yourself to negative reviews about not being American made tell the truth about where the parts are made and where the assembly takes place. Why do you have no response for the consumers making consistant, valid points about terrible service and the lies they were told? Why do these people, like myself, have the same aweful experience of never getting calls back or being helped after the "commission sale" was done. Why do you not take 4 minutes out of your day, to make a phone call to repeat business, like myself spending at least $75,000 between 3 brand new cars in 9 years to return the multiple messages I left or reach out to help me/us!? Why spend so much time impressing us to sell us the car and then drop us like we are garbage so we never want do business with you ever again and write these bad reviews to make sure other innocent people don't fall for the same level of disresepct that we went through??! I was going to purchase a vehicle from kia of Duluth. After the finance person Randy look at my credit. she said my credit score was Low But she could still help me get a finance into a car I wanted. The salesman pulled car up with a car that was about 8 years older It was a piece of crap. Inside vehicle smell like someone died in it. Didn't even clean out the car. What a joke. After leaving the dealership check with my personal bank to check on my credit score. It was 195 points higher than what Randy of kia of Duluth credit report said. The salesman Joe K was even shock at the condition of this vehicle that Randy was trying to finance for me. Going to another dealership I have been finance for car that I wanted. There was nothing wrong with my credit. This is there 100 percent finance guarantee What a joke.

Brought our Kia Sorento to Kia of Duluth on April 13 for some engine work. They had the vehicle for 10 days. Picked up my vehicle and noticed a strong oil smell in the vehicle but drove off. When I got home which is over an hour drive I noticed where they did work to the outside of the vehicle they chipped the paint & scratched the vehicle from prying off the door handle. They also spilled some type of grease or oil inside my door. I called Kia’s Rob Haveri everyday for over a week and never received a call back. I would never use Kia of Duluth for any auto needs, you will regret it.

My husband knew he was dying from prostate to bone cancer. We needed a roomy vehicle to see his family one last time and were concerned for his comfort. He did not want any other vehicle than the 2015 sorento. The trip was a success I will never forget and the service since the spring of 2014 has been just how he would have liked it. KIA has a funtastic service bay. You honk your horn, they open the door. You touch base with a service pro and then resign yourself to the waiting area. They have free popcorn and coffee, also 2 televisions. Never a bad experience!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY! For starters, three years ago when I went to KIA they had 2011 impalas listed at 11,999 on their website. I was looking for my first "newer" vehicle and I thought that was a decent price. Went there and I will quote what the sales manager had said to me, "If you think I am giving one of those cars to you at that price, you might as well punch me in the face right now" Oh, EXCUSE ME! I was so upset at the way I was treated so I got up and said I will never be back and went and bought the 2011 Impala at another dealership. This past weekend (May 23,2015) I saw that KIA was having Memorial weekend sales and on THEIR website they have 2013 Impalas and Altimas listed at 9,999. I am looking to upgrade my vehicle and despite the TERRIBLE customer service I had, I was looking for a good deal and decided to give KIA another try. BAD IDEA! I looked and saw the Impalas and Altimas and again, the manager said it was a misprint. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? He said he is the business owner and asked me if I have ever made a mistake. (Which I said yes I do, but I take care of my customers when it's MY mistake) He then proceeded to say it was the fault of the newspaper, which is hilarious because I pulled it up on KIA'S website, not the newspaper. As a 'business manager', you would know that things printed on your website are checked BEFORE they are put on there. So NO you did not "misprint" the information. You put it on there to get someone in the door and tried to sell the car for 17,999. WHAT A JOKE OF A BUSINESS! Oh and I informed him that maybe he should take it off their website since they don't have those cars at that price and he said "Absolutely will take care of it right away" I am writing this review three days later and it is still on their website. DO NOT EVER GO TO KIA! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FALSE ADVERSITISING!
