It's not often you find a dealership that values the customer over making a quick buck, but that's exactly what I experienced here. Great sales team, didn't try to pressure me. Once I'd decided on the Niro it was a very smooth process. At 45 this is the first NEW car I've ever owned. My desire for more MPG and modern technology helped me to dial in on the Niro. They made what I've often heard a difficult process painless and exciting. I will be recommending them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I've never used a dealer for auto repairs before, so thought I'd give it a shot with my new Kia Forte5 SX. It's not the most common car in the area, so figured a dealer would know what to do best. It was easy to schedule an appointment online, and the folks there were friendly and price seemed similar to other places for a fully synthetic oil change and tire rotation. However, they accidentally put the incorrect viscosity oil into my car the first time. I noticed the error when I went home that evening. I came back in the next day and told them of the error and they quickly got my car in the shop and switched out the oil. Although I would have preferred the correct oil be put in the first time, I appreciate that they fixed the error quickly without any hassle. As with anywhere, should always double check what the mechanic is doing against what the manual says.

I do not enjoy going here. The sales team cannot follow up. Like they don't even care about selling you a car. Kathy I called and asked questions after I didn't hear from her, she said she'd get back to me and never did. I don't care to talk to any of the staff when I'm there. I only go for an oil change/tire rotation because it's $35.

I went for my free oil change up to 60,000 miles I have 30,000 miles and they said they no longer HONOR! my contract so they would give me a deal $39.95 ain't that big of them. HONOR it's a shame that word don't mean anything anymore so remember what HONOR means when u shop there

Stopped by the very small lot today. Im currently with Chevy now but looking to buy a new Kia. 2 sales men walked by me on the lot. They were both helping other customers but did not bother to greet me nor acknowledge me. The least they could have done is say “hello someone will be right with you”. Because of the poor customer service I received I decided to go elsewhere.

I have really only dealt with the Service Department, but everyone there has been fantastic - friendly, helpful, not intimidating AT ALL. They are just incredibly helpful and accommodating. And they seem to really bend over backwards to get you the best service and parts for you money. I have had work done on my Kia Rio here twice and each time the guys in Service tell me exactly what I do and don't need, aren't pushy or rude or patronizing. You will be treated very well here. I highly recommend Kia of Canton.

The service to my vehicle was satisfactory. All the team members could use customer service courses. No good mornings, welcome to Kia or anything of that nature. The cashiers were not the nicest or most helpful. When I asked a question, I was not greeted nor was there any eye contact, just a answer while she looked on her cellphone from her seat. While I was paying, the same young lady requested assistance from co-worker who came to counter and only referred to me in the third person as if I was not standing there. Not very customer service friendly at all.

I love the Kia dealer in Canton Michigan the staff is so friendly and genuine. Yesterday I went in because of low pressure light concerning my tires I did not have an appointment they were very busy and short-staffed. I didn't get turned away he said he would get to me as soon as he could and they sure did this is my first time ever leasing a car and I have to say I will continue to lease cars and that will be at the Kia dealer in Canton. As far as a tire there was a nail in it. Thank you Kia dealer service department you guys rock!!!

Worst experience I've had with a dealership. I paid roughly $100 for a mechanic to tell me my engine was making a noise and the car would inevitably fail. They didn't offer any actual diagnostic of the engine problem and immediately referred me to one of their salesmen to purchase a new car. I literally was ripped off for $100 as they didn't tell me anything that any fool could hear. I highly don't recommend this place. They aren't trustworthy and will try to get you to buy a new car without any attempt at fixing your problem.

I hate taking my car to get worked on but its under warranty so i have no choice but to take it here! They constantly treat you like you are about 3 sandwiches short of a picnic basket. Not to mention they took my air filter out told me i needed a new one (which i did not need a new one) so instead of putting the old one back in they just didn't put anything in at all so i drove around for 3 months with no air filter in my car! Thank goodness i didn't suck anything up into my engine! Not all of the people suck but for the most part alot of them do!

They had a 2018 vehicle that they couldn't sell, so I went to the dealership in early January 2019 and made reasonable offer. I say reasonable because I was able to find a dealer in Southfield that sold me 2019 model year vehicle at the same price that I offered for 2018 model year vehicle that Kia Canton had (and still has it). Sales person went to talk to his manager with my offer and then the manager came to me and said "I would buy the vehicle for myself at that price. thanks for coming by". He didn't even tried to negotiate but he just grabbed his jacket and walked out of dealership. I really wanted the vehicle so I called next day with intent to buy at the last price they offered but the sales person never returned by calls. A month later, the same sales person from Canton Kia called asking if I was still interested.

Today I went to the dealership for service on my tire which had a nail in it. Since they didn’t have a account with the warranty company they told me it was best I go to the dealership where I purchased the car because they couldn’t take a chance of not getting paid by the company even though the company said the would pay them by credit card. They also said the tire wasn’t repairable, the type of tire I had was discontinued and there was only one in the US and I would therefore need all 4 tires replaced. So I went to the dealer where I purchased the car and they contacted the warranty company and they repaired the tire immediately. I definitely didn’t need 4 new tires. They must not want me as a customer. Not the first poor experience at this dealership’s service department. Don’t worry I won’t be back.

Took my new Kia Soul in because the service engine light came on in November 9. I bought the car September 26. It had almost 1900 miles on it. After diagnosing the ses light, Brett told me I needed a thermostat replaced and he had ordered one. He called me on November 12 and scheduled me for an appointment for 9 AM on November 14. When I got there, I was told by a different service order writer that my thermostat couldn't be changed because the ses light was not on. I know that was a lie. I have changed thermostats before without a ses light on. I told new service guy that Brett had reset the thermostat and he still refused to change the part. He told me to come back when the light came on again. I told him "Don't worry. I will never come back her again". I will be going to Lafontaine Kia instead.

Took my 2014 Kia soul to fix air pressure sensor light. First time I took it there they reset sensor and told my if it comes back they would replace it. It came back few days after, so I took it there second time and they said they have to programs it Not replace it ( service man name Alex). Four days later it came back again, so I took there for the third time. Alex said this time that they have missed a step in programming it last time. Today 1 day later it came back again. I would never go back there anymore!!!

I would not recommend leasing from here. Not only do they charge a $400 disposition fee when you turn your car in, they charged me " $430 excess wear and use" among some other miscellaneous fees totaling $879, and my car was in PERFECT condition. So upsetting.

Initially, I spoke to Miles who didn't seem to understand that I had my husband's car for the day I called. With the expectation of getting the oil changed that same day, and ask about how to operate the remote starter. Once I told my husband, he called and spoke to Chris, who understood what it is we wanted. He told my husband to have our car in at 3:00 that day. Once I brought the car in, I was taken care of immediately. Chris went over the maintenance schedule for our Sorento, and the discounts. Once it was determined what work will be done on our car, the other people were able to help me with the remote starter. Chris walked me out to the waiting lounge, which has been updated with multiple phone chargers, popcorn machine, and coffee maker. The seating is very comfortable, the tv was on a show I liked. The staff who walked by were very friendly. The coffee was very good! My service was done in less time than expected. Over all I was very pleased with the new staff and service!! I hope that they stay, I look forward to the next time I need to come in, which will be with my Sportage.

Was awesome! Kevin showed awesome salesmanship also! We were desperate, seriously upset because our Ford focus engine blew up, we didn't think we could get financing. KIA wanted $1500 down, We only had $400 of the down payment . Ford turned us down after being loyal for years. KIA stepped up big time. They not only let us payoff the down payment they LOWERED IT TO $1000. WE DIDN'T HAVE TO ASK! THEY JUST DID THAT (they probably pitied us at that point lol)! I was so negative going in. I really thought the ads were BS. It was the most POSITIVE car buying experience I've ever had. When my truck is paid off I'll be going back to KIA. Plus the warranty is incredible! They treated us like people, not a # or score. Thank you KIA AND KEVIN!

Awesome place, sales dept. was fast and friendly. Update, 3500 miles on my brand new soul and it started stalling. Service dept kept it for 4 days to replace the o2 sensor and it still hadn't arrived. They dont do loaner cars or let you take a demo home. If you bring your car in for service prepare to not have a ride for an extended period of time.

Good customer service! Easy registering my car online to schedule any of my maintenance services. Very clean and the employees are helpful whenever you need their assistance. I never have to wait an extended amount of time, and they even offer a points program to give cash back when you reach certain numbers. Very pleased with this Kia dealership

Do not go here to get an oil change, or have them fix anything on your vehicle. Went to get an oil change on Friday 9/22/17 and was told I needed a new bulb in my driver's side tail light. 2 hrs later I was told it wasn't a bulb needed, so they checked wiring and everything else. I was told I need something like a UV light that has to be ordered. Sunday, 9/24/17, I get on the freeway for the first time since my oil change and my bumper flies off in the middle of the freeway. Side that detached first was driver's side. Now, KIA don't want to take responsibility for it after having my car for 2 weeks. I just financed the car in March 2017. 6 months later I have no bumper and they dont want to fix it.

After noticing the low prices on Kia's I stopped in to shop. When I did, I was shocked that the prices here were two to five thousand dollars higher than on what I had seen advertised for Kia's. When I asked, they said that those prices were for bottom of the line no equipment or option vehicles. So standing right there in their showroom, I checked CarGurus and sure enough, LaFontaine and just about any other dealership was thousands cheaper than these guys. I was able to compare exact packages and Kia of Canton was always thousands higher. I guess that is why this dealership is so small and not growing.

One week Later my vehicle has a New engine and was ready for pickup . Also Kia paid for a rental vehicle . Customer service was excellent. Also Kevin McCarty was a pleasure to deal with . Had my engine replaced because of a defect recall and i had to convince them that there was a recall on the engine (did my own research). When i got my vehicle back after 2 months my radio/panel was not working at all, i brought it back up there the same day and they told me i had to pay 800 dollars for a new one. Just took my vehicle to another kia dealership in Dearborn and he fixed it right away. It was only a bad fuse.I will not recommend this place in Canton to anybody. Tried to cheat me out of 800 bucks. Called corporate at the time to see if they could help and they said I had to pay for the radio and they MIGHT reimburse me. Terrible service. I recommend Lafontaine Kia of Dearborn on Michigan and Telegraph

This place was awesome. I plan on doing all of my business here from now on when getting a car is concerned. I had an issue with credit acceptance and was stuck in a bad car with a bad deal. Shakita Wilson and Bob got my husband and i into a brand new vehicle. I don't think they know how much they saved us that day. I gave the company 3 stars because, I have mixed reviews. I have been with Kia for almost five years now. In the beginning the service staff was excellent and knowledgeable. However, after my third year with the company, they seemed to have replaced the knowledgeable, experienced and courteous workers with younger,less efficient and less personable ones. I couldn’t believe how the “customer service” changed so drastically. I purchased my vehicle brand New Years ago and for the past year it has been leaking oil somewhere within and instead of confirming their find, the man behind the counter lied and told me that my oil was topped off because, it was a little low. Uh, no! I heard the young service guy whisper to you that it was empty. I may be a woman but, I am a seasoned one. It makes me question if my vehicle was truly thoroughly inspected for the engine recall. Kia told me that my car has to smoke or knock in order to get anything done and I did confirm that with corporate. It’s just disheartening because, I am just waiting for the bottom to fall out. I hope the engine doesn’t lock up while I’m on the highway on my way to my many obligations. Don’t worry, my life insurance is paid. For the record, I have NEVER written a review before, however, some things need to improve. For those of you that truly service with honesty and integrity, thank you.

I took my vehicle to get fixed and they clearly did not fix the problem actually be they created more of a problem. The technician cause they flash fire causing more damage than what the damage was already to my vehicle and they refuse to compensate us for it instead they wanted us to continuously spend money and more money and more money we refused so they try to put us into a car with a car note clearly not a good place to do service. I do not recommend anybody taking their vehicle to Canton Kia to have any work done on your vehicle first of all they don't know what they're doing they cannot fix the problem and they always want you to bring your car back and charge you another Diagnostics fee for every little thing that they can't fix. I do not recommend anybody to take their vehicle to the Canton Kia. If they would let me give him a 0 star rating I would do that but unfortunately they won't

NOT HONEST AT ALL. Was at Kia of Novi and they checked a car in their website and told me it is a good deal, let us call and make sure they still have it for this price. I did call them and told them about the car and price and the person picked the phone told me ya the car is still here, I am looking at it right now, come and let us make a deal to sell it. Kia of Novi told me to go and buy it from them. Walked in, they showed me the car, test drove it and was ready to buy it. They then said, SORRY the price online is wrong and we will not honor it, the car is $7,000 more than the online price. They did not even negotiate or show a regret to the mistake "if it was a mistake", did not offer to show another car. Told me "Have a great rest of your day". So mean and dis respective. I walked out drove to Hyundai of Livonia and bought a Santa Fe instead of Sonata.

I was there for a full synthetic oil change, ended up waiting 2 hours because they didn't have any of that oil in stock even though I had a appointment scheduled... this is the second this has happened. Then to top that off the mechanic got into my car with oily hands and did not replace all the bolts in the skid plate. When I got home I saw it hanging and the corner was worn off. I have contacted them about replacing the plate but haven't heard anything.

Called the dealership for like 5times waiting to transfer to service and parts but I can not get anyone and i told the receptionist about it that after she transfer the call it was dead silence I’m not so sure if I got transferred correctly or got hung up but after waiting for 3mins i called back and she told me oh yeah I transfer ur call right but it was put on silence hold. My recent experience with Kia of Canton was a little frustrating as I scheduled an oil change for 9 a.m. and during my check in I was told it would be 25 minutes to one hour wait. One hour and half later I went to ask how much longer for the oil change. I was told that soon my car would be done. I left there two hours later with oil change done but I was never was even offered my car wash which is included on the oil change, unless the temperature is below freezing. I’ve owned a Kia for over four years now and I have always done all my maintenance at Kia of Canton. This was the first time I ever had this issue. I felt the lack of communication about the wait time was what upsetted me the most. We all schedule things accordingly to our daily schedule, therefore two hour of wait for an oil change would have been fine with me if I was told from the beginning that they were running late.

The two employees (Stevan Deselle and Kamiel Rivera) that helped me over the holiday weekend did an impeccable job. I traveled from out of state and had an emergency with my car. I needed it looked at before safely getting back on the highway. I was told no by several different dealers before KIA of Canton said, bring it in. My car was not safe to drive! The gentlemen got the paperwork going and assisted me my sister and I getting to Enterprise right before they closed. These men kept my family from being stranded hours away from home! They went beyond their jobs rushing and making sure I was handled before things closed. This was Saturday morning, memerial day weekend. Being that I have some mechanical experience and not a lot of money or time, I am very particular who I let work on my van. Over the last two you Kia of Canton has treated me fairly. A couple weeks ago I took my Sedona in for a drivability issue. There was a mix up with the part I needed, I was not very polite. But know that I had to be on the road with my kids that coming weekend, and was just frustrated, service writer Kamiel and technician Bobby stayed calm and made sure I was on the road safely on time!!!

AWFUL!!! First I'm told my new lease payments would only be about $50/more than my old lease. Come in the next day to complete the deal and all of a sudden my payments are almost DOUBLE my old payments!!! Once I finally get a deal done, that I'm still not really happy with, I get EXPIRED registration in the mail because someone wrote the wrong thing on the paperwork. So now after HOURS in the dealership I have to spend HOURS in the SOS registering my car that should've been registered correctly at the dealership. They will never get my business again!

Several months ago my wife and I took our Kia Sedona in for repair to the Canton Kia in Canton Michigan. Both side doors were not closing correctly and making a sticking sound. We were told we had to make another appointment and it could not be fixed that day because it would take 4 hours for the repair. We made another appointment , went to the dealership the day of the new appointment, received a rental car, waited a couple hours , went back to the dealership and picked up our Sedona. After returning home, we realized that only one door was repaired. We called and made a new appointment . Days later we received a recall in the mail about the side doors. We returned to the Kia dealership in Canton. After waiting an hour, the repair representative said he was sorry but nothing could be done that day to fix the problem. According to him we had to rechedule another 4 hour appointment. Since then , we have scheduled another appointment to fix the side door problem. I am extremely disappointed with this repair department and it's customer service. We have been coming to the same dealership for years. I don't know what has happened but the place has changed from what it was. Now they make you feel as though you are a bother. Years ago they treated you very well, they kept you updated on the repair , and had great customer service. This new repair staff is a joke. Someone needs to teach them what real customer service is. After this door is fixed , I have doubts if I want anything to do with this dealership.

Whet for my oil change last month and was told I had to pay for it. WTF. Don’t take them for there word. Make sure everything is put in the written.

Poor customer service. Went there to test drive the new Telluride. Said it was there, got there we could not drive the vehicle. We said what!!!!! But they showed us the features inside the vehicle. We were thrown for a loop!!!! Needless to say we were going to buy the vehicle but changed our minds and went that same day and brought a Dodge 2019 ram 1500. Never judge your customers or assume they are not going to lease or purchase a vehicle. By the way we put down 50% on our purchase. No Kia for us.

This Canton, MI site has given the WORSE service I have ever experienced in my Life. The employee turn over rate is Amazing. I would like to give them ZERO stars. If you need an engine replaced, under warranty, expect to be without a vehicle for more than a month. It took them 16 days to get me in a Rental. I finally received the call to pick up my vehicle today February 5, 2018, they've had it since December 26, and there was no accompanying paperwork for the replacement engine. I refused to sign for my car without it and therefore am without a vehicle again. Do NOT buy a car here or have it serviced...

They are quite respectful and take the time and effort to find what your looking for (without being pushy in no way what so ever). The gentleman working in the finance department seemed to take pride in his job and was very open to lay down all the figures so you know exactly what your paying. I needed new rear brakes. I didn't make an appointment but they took me anyway. The kept me informed about how many appointments were ahead, gave me different price point options, washed the car. The waiting room was very nice and so were the service attendant and the cashier. I went in fully expecting to be there all day but I was in and out in 3 hours. I was impressed!

was fine when buying my car but when I took it in for service (tire rotation) they did not attach the tires back on all the way and as I was driving they became loose. So loose that if I did not stop and pull over they would have come off! Talk about dangerous! I called and spoke to the service manger right away and he said that they would rectify the situation with some disciplinary action and by sending me a gift card for dinner. I never received anything from them and it has been over a month since the incident.

This dealership and the owner Art White refused to honor my tire protection warranty when I hit a pot hole and damaged my rim and tire on my leased vehicle. I was told because I didn't lease my vehicle from the Kia Canton dealership, I needed to take my car back where I purchased it from. I actually leased the vehicle at Summit Place Kia in Auburn Hills Michigan which was 47 miles from where my car became disabled. This practice on behalf of Kia of Canton was not only unprofessional and hazardous. It was an inconvenience for me and a ridiculous excuse for not assisting me. I suggest never buy a car or tire warranty from Kia of Canton. I'm not sure I'd ever buy another Kia because some dealer may refuse to honor my warranty and this situation could occur again. And by the way, the tire protection I purchased costed over $500. It was purchased to cover my tires and rims for 5 years. What a scam! Art White should be ashamed to advertise his dealership as part of the Kia Family of dealerships! Kia of Canton was everything but a good representation of Kia dealerships. The employees in the service department were also incompetent and inconsistent, regarding how they handled the situation. Beware of Kia, and stay very far away from this low performing dealership.

Engine needed to be replaced. (Warrenty work) i still waiting 3 weeks later. Everytime i call they say the engin is in and they are starting it. But the engine shown up 8 days ago. Very piss poor service. No communication and it seems either they do not know what they are doing or i am purposely being tossed to the side because it warrenty work. I hate dealers and if i didnt have to be here i will never use them for service. Everything is over priced and takes 3 times as long to be repaired so unexceptable
