Just bought our 2nd car from Honda Cars of Boston. Their price beat every else, by a lot, AND it was the trim level and color we wanted without paying a finders/vehicle transfer fee. Professional staff through all phases. None of the typical nonsense you get when buying a car. The 1st car, a 2017 CRV, was through an online search, best price, they found the exact car we wanted. With the 2nd car, 2019 Pilot, we worked via text, Sim was able to find the car we wanted. Only 2 trips to their location: to get a price on my trade in, and to sign the deal and pick up the new car. The new Encore casino just opened down the street from them, so traffic wasn’t great, but the deal and service was well worth any hassle from the traffic.

My husband went for a service related to check engine light. What came out in the diag was fuel cap was loose for which no labour is required. For doing the diag they took $125.00. He was told that the problem was corrected. Very next day my husband complained about the check engine light again. This time around he was asked to bring the car back and the problem was further investigated and resulted in canister being replaced without any extra cost. More over a rental car was provided for a day for my husbands commute without any extra charge. My husband is very happy with the quality of service. Thanks for your service.

My experience with Honda Cars of Boston was great, met James the salesperson last Fall and just knew he was the person I want to business with. He was very low key, honest and knowledgable. Prior to this I went to several other Honda Dealers in the area with my eye set on a specific vehicle. Honda Cars of Boston is the only dealership that listened to me and addressed all of my concerns. Don't waste your time going to any other Honda dealer in this area. I traded in my great running Accord I had for 10 years that I bought when it was 2 years old for a Civic EX-T that is 2 years old and hope to have this one for 10 years! James explained all the features so well I haven't opened the manual and when I called and reached Taylor she eloquently and efficiently resolved all my issues on the phone. Today I had the pleasure of engaging in great conversation with Alex the Sales Manager and Sam in service as I was waiting for a new registration and sticker. This place is like one big family. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and efficient and I couldn't be happier with the service and price. I HIGHLY recommend Honda Cars of Boston.

As I saw this car purchase as my last car purchase I had many questions and was indecisive at time. The newer car's technology can be somewhat overwhelming to one in my age category. When I was in the dealership to purchase a car, the service was friendly and professional. Then any time I wanted to follow up or ask a question - no response. There is one person assigned to you, and if that person isn't available there's nothing they can do. Then they screwed up the paperwork. They promised I would get a check for the registration in 2 weeks, took a month and a half after repeated calls. They promised the first service was free so I called to ask about it - no, you can't get it without a voucher they never gave me. And the woman from service on the phone was rude and unhelpful. If you have a choice find another dealership

I recommend to anyone not to go this place by any means. I recently took my car to this place for oil change and tire rotation and the girl told me her name is Katie to pay $300 something. She has horrible customer service and on the top of that . They didn’t fixed my car almost three hours. I asked what’s going on she told me to wait another more hours, overall don’t go this place unless you love to sitting doing nothing.

The pricing was very competitive - in fact, I shopped around and other dealers out rightly said they couldn't even come close to the deal that was offered by Samantha Lambert via email. The buying process was smooth and didn't have to haggle with the salesman (Matt). I did have minor concerns about additional costs that were added to the lease agreement. The dealership was very responsive and approachable and refunded the money. They got back to me with a courtesy phone call and made things right. I would highly recommend this dealership. Alex is honest, fair, and very helpful! My daughter had just graduated college and was leasing her first car. From the start, Alex gave us a very fair price, and then honored that price when the transaction took longer than expected. He responded promptly to all email and telephone communications. A few weeks ago I received a call from my previous dealership (where I bought the car) and they went on this random story about how they have this student looking for an older car, and they remembered selling me mine, and had this amazing deal if I wanted to trade it in, blah blah blah…I asked if they honestly were feeding me that. I reminded them of my two unfortunate situations with their service department, both with a service advisor, and then with the manager, and as a result, I prefer to pay the $100 deductible on my extended warranty and go to another dealership than to return to them. I love love love Taylor. At my last visit, I needed extra work to be done, and she was AMAZING! She sat with me, went through everything and all of my questions. She then walked me through the equation of when enough is enough, and figuring out a year's worth of car payments, and when I hit that in car repairs (outside of normal maintenance), that’s when I trade in my car. I'm convinced that together, her and I are getting my CR-V to the 200,000 mile mark. Back to that day with Taylor, she even had an Uber for me to get to work, and another one to bring me back to the dealership when my car was ready to be picked up! The least they could do is have a manager call back to explain what is going on. it is not about the money it's about the fact that i've been calling the sales rep & his manager with no RESPONSE BACK in over 2 months & this is how you run a business??? I do NOT recommend anyone obtaining a vehicle from here. This will be my very last time.

I previously gave a good review but unfortunately I now realize that this place is deceptive in handling customers when it comes to pricing and taxes. I was told all taxes and fees stated within the contract are baked into the final price, even if separately listed. I asked the salesman several times to confirm that, letting the salesman know that we have a tight budget and we need to know exactly how much we will be responsible for over the course of the three-year term. He clearly stated that we will only owe our monthly installment payments and that is all. It turns out they lied and we now owe an extra 2 thousand in taxes. The contract is written in a very vague manner and can be construed either way. My main concern is that when a customer asks you directly are there any other fees besides the monthly installment payment that they need to be aware of in order to budget themselves and the salesman conveniently forgets to mention that you will be responsible for an extra 2 thousand dollars, that is deceptive and bad customer service. I consider myself a fair and logical customer. When I tried to call after receiving my bill for the excess tax fees, I was passed around and put on hold and told someone will call us back. I no longer recommend this place and we will not renew our lease here.

Water was leaking into my 2015 Honda Fit after most rainfalls. HCOB used its best efforts 3 times over the course of 1 year to repair it without success, but would not quit. Steve Whalen, the Service Director/Manager, encouraged us to experiment a bit and get some concrete clues, which we did. Then Steve and our Service Advisor/Consultant, Ryan Foley, got down on the ground along with my husband, as he showed them what he had found. They looked and listened intently and closely. They were never smug or condescending, but always cordial, courteous and pleasant. This was consistent with all of our previous HCOB experiences. Steve and Ryan were determined to plug this very stubborn and nagging leak--and they did on this 4th attempt. They were easy to interact with and their good faith was clear. If you are looking for a vehicle and a predictable, reliable relationship, HCOB in Everett should be your first stop--it will probably be your only one. And if your vehicle does spring a leak, be sure to ask Steve and Ryan to have that A#1 Leaker Seeker and Sealer, John Whalen, find it and plug it.
