We had an exceptionally positive new car purchasing experience at Volvo Cars of Norwood, beginning and ending with our wonderful sales representative, Yatin Kamble. We had never owned a Volvo before, and he listened carefully and warmly to our needs and steered us to the car we wound up purchasing. He took us on a test drive and encouraged us to try out all the features of the car he knew were important to us. Yatin respected our desire to take a few days to "do our homework" on pricing and offers from other dealerships, and when we returned the price negotiation took only a few minutes as he was able to better the offers from other dealerships. He then carefully walked us through all the functions of the car, making sure we were comfortable and understood all the features, and we drove away happily that same afternoon. It's hard to imagine a better car buying experience--be sure to ask for Yatin when you are in the market for a Volvo.

My previous car was 14 years old and I was long overdue for a new car. My husband picked out an awesome XC90 with Yatin's help. Yatin was so helpful and knowledgable. He really took his time making sure we were happy with the car. When we went to pick it up, Yatin arranged for a big red bow to be placed on the car (since the car was technically a surprise from my husband)! He then spent 1.5 hours showing me all the features interior and exterior and took me for a quick test drive! If you go there, make sure to ask for Yatin! You won't be disappointed!

The new building looks incredible! The service is also amazing! Their service experts always do great work fixing my vehicle and they never force a service upon you. They explain everything very clearly and answer my questions with confidence. I've actually been quoted for less than what my local shop quotes me for certain repairs making the myth that "dealers try to rip you off" nothing more than a myth. The staff are extremely respectful and go above and beyond to help me fix any potential issues with my car. I think they always wash my car for free too and the complimentary coffee and pastry is always nice when I'm dropping my car off in the mornings. To top it all off I love my S60, its probably one of the best vehicles I've owned. I'll probably end up getting another Volvo in the future. I just hope they can make a more affordable electric car like the Tesla Model 3 since I've been really interested in owning an all electric vehicle in the future. I hope everyone else gets an experience just as good as mine here.

This is a long overdue review. We bought our car, 2018 XC90 T6 from Herb Chambers Volvo Norwood in August 2017. I would like to share an account of our great experience. Herb Chambers was our first stop and we were impressed by the sales staff (no wait, very professional and discreet, no pressure, knowledgeable). Our salesperson was Theo Dong and he was absolutely helpful, patient (particularly with all my questions), and he listened to our requirements and offered options that meet those requirements without unnecessarily upselling. He also gave us a price that can’t be equalled by competitors. We did look at another dealership closer to home to compare but decided that Herb Chambers not only offered the best price but they offered the best overall experience. Theo and the finance officer stayed late (1 hr after they closed) so we can finish the paperwork. We cannot be any happier with our Volvo and with our buying experience at Herb Chambers Volvo at Norwood and a big part of it was our salesperson, Theo. If you are looking to buy a Volvo, go with Theo.

The whole purchasing process was a real pleasure. I walked into the store without making an appointment prior to my visit. Alex Gomes was appointed to help me with looking for the vehicle that I wanted. He sat down with me and went through the list of things that I would like to have or have not in the car. Although he could not find one with my desired color and packages in stock, he was able to quickly locate one elsewhere. Four days later (after needing to swap with other dealership in order to get what I've asked for just so that I could see it in person), the car arrived at the dealership. I wanted to specifically point out this due to the fact that the XC90 T6 R-design in Osmium Grey with the packages that I would like to have is not easy to find. I have been to a couple of other dealerships before I came to Herb Chambers. I was told the same thing by them that if I exclusively wanted the Osmium Grey, I do not get to choose what comes with it. Alex was able to find it. He made it easy. Also, I would like to thank their finance director Sam Li for configuring the payment plan to suit my needs. Again, this was the best car buying experiences for me.

We bought a 2016 volvo xc90 "certified" preowned from this dealership. A couple months later the vehicle was in a minor accident and we were told by the autobody shop the vehicle had previous major damage. Come to find out the airbags had been deployed in an accident before we bought the car. The dealership was aware but deliberately did not disclose this during the sale, though they are required to by law. DO NOT purchase a car from this dealership. They do NOT care about your safety, only their bottom dollar.

The overall experience was very good, cannot really complain for a car buying experience. Better then the old ways... Started by inquiring online (2015 S60). They responded right away. Live far from dealership so once we had some understanding, I went in and worked John (Sales manager) and Bob (Sales). The sales team did what was agreed to, wish we could have negotiated a better sales price or trade in, but that's always to be the case. The reason why this is not 5 star is because: The wait just to see the finance manager to work out my loan (which I was not doing there) took over 2 hrs, just to hear that it'd be another 45mins, so I reschedule to go back. There was also a slight issue with the rim, but John said they would fixed it so from my side, they were every great to work with. They didn't clean/detail the inside before I received the car. Car ran great. Had to schedule a service to get the rims fix. Got a loaner (great convenience, but the car was not clean at all), and after I got my car back I notice dirty fingerprints on the interior cloth on the frame by the front windshield (as if someone grab it to get in and out of car). Luckily, I had some cleaner and was able to get it out. Overall Pros: sales was pretty good, place was very clean and comfortable. Cons: Took longer then it needed to and service folks need to be a little more careful with the car. Would have not been happy if I had just bought a nice new luxury car and at the end got fingerprints stains on it.

I went to the dealership looking to test drive the XC60. Unfortunately the test drive was less than perfect. The car would not signal the lane departure warning and I was told this function is only operable when the cruise control is engaged. Huh? Then the adaptive cruise control would not engage. The sales person had trouble with the heads up display and was able to increase the brightness but had difficulty getting the information again to display. We drove with the fuel light on because we were low on fuel and finally the automatic rear tail gate wouldn't open with his foot. What a comedy of errors.

“ Great customer service!” This dealership was better than I expected. When I went into the dealership I was rather reluctant whereas they were formally Dalzell Volvo. I put all of that aside and I am quite happy so far that I did. My sales consultant was Yatan Kamble. I'll note that there was an error in the initial tax calculations, which required that I kick in some extra money and resign the paperwork. Mistakes happen, and I confirmed the error with my own calculations, but I wasn't pleased about it; however, Vadim called to explain the error in detail and I also received a call from the Sales Manager. Overall, I was pleased with the whole experience and we are happy with our purchase.

I told myself that this place is nuts and went to Patrick and Wellesley Volvo wow experience is amazing I got my XC 60 with first month down from one of this dealer. Please be realstic you are in business to sell your vehicle teach some skill to sales and talk to customer and make customer feel happy you don't need to loose your money at the same time you don't need to loot customer money. My wife Cynthia and I recently purchased a 2018 V60 Cross Country Wagon from Volvo Cars of Norwood. We had been looking at many of the beautiful, late model XC60 Series trims at several dealerships in the Rhode Island and greater Boston area prior to Herb Chambers being the next stop on our Volvo Dealership tour. With so much information on the web about pricing, mileage, trims, packages, etc. it is hard to determine the best value being offered. Our decision making gained clarity and the process became easier when we walked into the Herb Chambers showroom and crossed paths with Vadim Khazhinsky. Vadim was a highly personable, knowledgeable and astute "partner" in the process of evaluating our needs and helping us to pick the best vehicle for the best value. Although we started out looking 2016/2017 XC60's we got a great 2018 vehicle with the overwhelming majority of features we needed for a much better value! Vadim had a great team around him with Mara Russell (Financing) and Eric Millar (Sales Manager) providing great compromise and flexibility with trade-in value, financing options and caring customer service. And while the sales and purchase is essential; the more important, longer term relationship involving the servicing of the vehicle started the night we picked up the vehicle when Dave Dorion (Service Shop Foreman) spent in excess of an hour providing a tour of the service facility, providing detailed information about maintenance specific to my model, and being an easy going, down-to-earth contact to talk to when questions arise concerning servicing the vehicle. Even though we were traveling in excess of 60 miles to get to the dealership we had no reservations once we got to Herb Chambers that we would leave the dealership with the vehicle we wanted. My wife and I returned and were lucky to meet Vadim Khazhinsky. He is very knowledge about all things Volvo and was pleasant to deal with. He located a car that we wanted and we made a deal quickly. He was helpful in dealing with a problem I had with my insurance and followed up to make sure it was solved. When I picked up the car, Vadim showed me in detail features that are probably buried in the manual. He even noticed some missing screws on the license plate and fixed them himself. Overall, a very nice experience.

Edit: After the delivery we found few issues the next day. We had to wait for 5 days to even talk about the issue as we were told person responsible is not available. When we took the car on Tuesday we were told that person is busy and we need to come the next day. Today when my spouse took the car again the person who is supposed to take a look was not available. My wife had to leave the car and come home as she could not wait whole day. During this episode the sales guy started questioning if the issues were existing or new. This is totally unprofessional, how can you expect us to inspect everything when you deliver the car on a rainy night.Every dealership is good when they are selling the car, but true customer service is visible when a customer goes with a issue. The sales guy was behind me to write a google review and he followed up multiple times within 24 hours after delivery to make sure I wrote a good review. I'm editing the review and giving 1 star to the professionalism of the sales person and would not recommend him. Hopefully the service team has taken care of issues we reported.

What a bunch of thieves took my car there and they tried to tell me my car needed 3400 dollars woth of work... LFMAO.. They wrote a bunch of unnecessary stuff whenn all I really needed was new wiper blades and new tailight bulbs... Took the car else where and paid to have it multi inspected and it came back with nothing. Paid $95 for inspection $55 for new wiper blades and $45 for bulbs . Labor included. Bunch of thieves.. Choose local shops people. Be smart.
