UPDATE (9/10/18): I suggest not taking your car here to get serviced. I had a basic service done to my 1 year old car and it took 2.5 hours to complete. I then had to get a tire replaced which you would think should take around 30 or 45 mins at most but that took over 2 hours as well. One of the main problems I see with their autoshop is that they schedule too many cars for a selected time. If you go on their website to schedule an appointment, every time slot is available which shows that they don't cap the amount of cars that they take in at that time. So there could be 5 or 5000 appointments for Monday at 8am. Best to take your car elsewhere. This was the easiest process when it came to buying a new Honda Civic. I'm the type of person that lives and dies off of Amazon so having to spend the time to visit multiple dealerships and haggling the price with salesmen/women was the last thing I wanted to do. I knew that I wanted another Honda Civic (since my previous car was one and last 12 years) so I communicated with this store and a few others entirely by email. Other dealers were stiff with their prices and I had to negotiate the price of a new car whereas Sport Honda started out at a lower price and would match anyone that could beat them. Be sure to ask for Julius Crane as he was very helpful with understanding the new features on the car, getting a great trade-in price on my older car and helping me finance at an amazing 0.9%.

We were in the market for a 2015 Honda Fit EX CVT in Alabaster Silver. I went through the Costco Auto Program, Edmunds, and True Car, and though dealerships got back to me, when I checked their inventory on the web, none of them had the car we were looking for. My parents had a good experience at Sport buying a Civic a few years back. So I thought it would be good to check their inventory - and they had the car we were looking for! I sent an e-mail through the website and was immediately contacted by Jackie Barkley who confirmed that the car was in stock. We set up a test drive on Saturday and LOVED the car. We got back to the showroom and negotiated a great deal. Within an hour or so, we drove our new car home in time to make a friends wedding! Jackie was great to work with - honest, clear, expedient, and no nonsense. I'd highly recommend her and Sport Honda. We've also had great experiences with service of our 2008 Fit with Sport's downtown Silver Spring service center. We're huge SPORT fans!

I couldn't remember why I stopped going to this dealership for service after I purchased my 2016 Honda Accord EXL Coupe from them, but today reminded me. First, appointment only on the weekend, instead of first come first serve is why I go to Ourisman Honda for my service needs. I went to Sport Honda today, June 16 2018, before they opened and waited for an hour before they opened only to be told by the service writer that it would be two hours before they could get to my car. I just needed my sunroof looked at because it was off track and would not close all the way. I went home frustrated, broke out my tools and fixed my sun roof in 15 minutes myself!!! I will never patronize this dealership for anything again! Worst post sales customer service I have ever had from a dealership. I know who's getting a Benz when this lease is up!!!!!

I was in Market to buy a car and visited Honda College Park, Honda Bethesda and Sport Honda Silver Spring. I met with Michael Martinez who really win my heart and I decided to go with Sport Honda. Mike is very informational and gave me a lot of information and made sure that I knew everything about my car before we seal the deal. Then I met Brian Liang - Finance Manager to discuss the Auto Loan. Unlike many other auto loan processors he was not pushy and let me take my time and think about things and let me choose what I thought was best for me. He too explained everything clearly to me in a very efficient manner to ensure I had a sense of every aspect of the loan. Interestingly enough I got my new car tires stolen and I need help to get my car towed to Honda to check for damages and again this team helped me to the fullest. I met with Jeanne Dugan who provided the best service, made sure that everything I needed on the car was serviced - she even pushed my insurance company to do the assessment soon so my car can be fixed and returned to me at the earliest time possible. I am glad that I chose Sport Honda over other Honda dealerships and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a Honda in MD. Thanks to Mike, Brian, Jeanne and Phil at Sport Honda. I enjoy driving my Honda Accord Touring every day.

I purchased a brand new Honda Odyssey from Briggs Chaney Sport Honda in March in 2015. The sales process went well and I was pleased with the quick and speedy process. On the day of the purchase I noticed the center seat in the second row was not coming off as it was supposed to it was either impossible or very hard to get it off. Before I received the car, they took it to service and the mechanics and service people said that there was nothing wrong with the seat and this is the way it is supposed to be and if there was anything wrong with it I can bring it back. At that time I was sure there was nothing wrong with the seat and that was the end of it. A few months later, I took the car back in for several issues. One, I needed an oil change. Two, the center seat was not coming off at all, it was impossible so I asked that they looked at it again. Third, the rail guard under the sliding door had partially come off. I explained to the dealer representative that this rail should not come off so easily even if someone steps on it. The strategic location of the rail guard makes it necessary for a strong hold on the guard. Regardless, I paid for its repair. When I got the car back on the same day, less than half an hour after leaving the service center the guard came off and started dragging on the ground. Here is the problem I currently have with these people. First, they lied to me the first time about the center seat that would not come off. It is their job. They should have known that this was not normal and the seat should not be so hard to remove. Second, I was upset that I lost a lot of time. Just like the rest of you, I had to make arrangements for someone to take the car, get a ride back etc. Finally, and most importantly, I was very mad at the poor and incompetent job they did on the rail guard. The rail guard itself is a cosmetic part. I could live without it easily. But, just imagine, the mechanics know the Honda Odyssey is used to drive the loved ones of families. Working on the car so clumsily with such carelessness and incompetency is just amazing. The service manager was absolutely uncooperative and his e-mails, although he was trying to be nice, showed lack of remorse and did not accept responsibility. I think he is the problem at the service center. I have heard very bad things about this service center and dealership from many people and I have started looking around for another Honda dealer to service my car with better reviews. For those of you that can relate to what I just mentioned, I caution you to not service your car here. Any screw or bolt they put on your car could come off and possibly create life threatening situations. One star is the best they get from me.

I was super excited the day I purchased a 2016 CPO Honda Civic EX-T because it is my first car but my excitement quickly fizzled out after 1 month of owning it. I have issues with Sport Honda's integrity and the overall quality of the vehicle. My biggest complaint is directed towards the finance department. There is some shady business going on that needs to be exposed. I was encouraged by a finance manager to LIE on my car insurance application in order to get a lower premium. He stated that he does this sort of stuff all the time and its nothing worry about.....NOT. I recently received a letter from that insurance company saying that my coverage will be terminated because of that. I chose that particular car insurance carrier because they had the lowest premiums when I was going research weeks before purchasing the car. I now have to pay an even higher premium. New/inexperienced car buyer beware!! In addition to that, I have been having mechanical issues with the car. As a reminder, my car is CERTIFIED PRE-PREOWNED so it "should have" passed Honda's 182-point inspection. My car's battery has died 3 times since I drove it off the lot ONE MONTH AGO. This is a recurring problem that NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED!!!! This is my first car and I should not be AFRAID TO DRIVE IT!!!!! I have been to nearby Honda service centers multiple times and no one has been willing to take the initiative to troubleshoot the issue. I am tired of hearing "There's nothing we can do if the problem isn't happening now." I have contacted corporate and expressed my frustrations. I hope this review is helpful to anyone looking to purchase a car from this dealership.

I will never buy a car here again. I bought my last car here and I bought all their over prices warranty packages they sell along with it. I take my car their for everything.... Two years after I own my car, I discovered the manual key hidden inside the car's FOB did not work. I have never needed to use a manual key on this car before until one day the alarm system shutdown and would not unlock the doors. It was the perfect time to discover the manul key does not work either. Anyway.... After Sport Honda took the door off they saw the latch assembly for the lock was never installed correctly. They told me that since they did not have to order parts it was not covered under the additional warranty extension I purchased from them when I bought the car or the manufactures warranty, due to the miles on the car. They admit it was installed incorrectly by Honda, yet they charge me $135 to properly place the extension rod to the lock cylinder. How smart is Sport Honda to loose a customer over $135.

Came here for the first time as I just purchased a 2016 Honda Accord coupe from a used car dealership in Glen Burnie. I thought I'd check this place out as I read some pretty bad reviews on the Honda dealership in Laurel, where I actually live. The service department here is great, the guys really know their stuff and are very straightforward upfront so there are no surprises. My appointment was at 10, and I was out by noon. I have used the Sport Honda Service department since I purchased a Civic Hybrid in 2004 (and two more Hondas since). Service is reliable and considerate. They are up-front with estimates for work, and are prepared to follow up where repairs were not effective. Most often I have waited for service to be completed (usually 1 to 2 h) and have set myself up in their waiting room with my laptop their WiFi and a free warm beverage. Mr. Ernest White has been my long-term service advisor there, and he has always communicated well with me and ensured that all discounts and recalls are considered.

I took my Accord in for a Power Steering recall. After taking it home, it Growled the next day. I checked the power steering fluid and it was empty. Never having had to add fluid before the work/recall I filled it and it did the same thing the next day. Took it in and they said it would need new rack and pinion. I told them to put it together and I would take it home and contemplate a trade in. Hasn't needed fluid since. Go figure.

I think it would be a great place too buy a car. If only they quit worrying about trying to make a fast dollar and fully Service a vehicle so you will not have to ga back to them less than 3000 mile. For a major Service I wish I would’ve add in my payment or not buy car. Check next Service arrangement before you buy the vehicle. As far as that they’re being cheap to try to make extra money but hurts there self in long run. Customers always come first because we pay your bills. If you could help them out they will help you out.

This place is horrible. I just bought a car from here and I'm disappointed beyond belief. Sales They tried to nickle and dine you. They break down free was: 1. 300 for processing fee 2. 300 for restoration fee 2. 499 for MBA fee 3. Then they add this up and then add cost of the car.... This is a huge cheat!!! Support Then they told me they would detail my car for me as the restoration fee. When they detailed my car I had more scratches and dents and paint drops outside and rips and tears inside the car then when I dropped it off. WHAT WAS DETAILED... did they take it moving parts?? Mohammed/Dave told me this is a used car so what do I expect. I expect the car I bought, test drove and already inspected not a deterioration version in less than 8 hours. Mohammed also told me that I didn't see the scratch because it hadn't been washed!!!!!!...but I DID wash it the day I got it.....and there was no scratches nor rips. He and his manager, Dave Kelly, answered all of my questions knowledgeably and honestly (which, after doing multiple test drives and purchasing three cars, I can say is quite rare). I met with Tim in person for the test drive, and he communicated with me in a professional, yet friendly manner, without being pushy (another rarity in car sales). He did a great job of checking in without overwhelming me, which I appreciated. The dealership itself is clean and has plenty of vehicles to choose from. The service I received at Sport Honda was stellar, and well worth the drive from Fairfax County, VA to Silver Spring.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! My experience before and after receiving my vehicle with this dealership has been nothing but a NIGHTMARE!! When I arrived at this dealership, I already knew the car I was going to purchase within an hour. However it took 6 hours for me to get in and speak to financing and to get all my paperwork complete. This should have been the first indication that I should have driven away in my car. Second red flag was being told that they would have to make me a new key since they could not find the second key for my vehicle. It has been over a month now and I still have NO KEY! Third red flag was receiving a call from the financing individual stating that the financing price that I was originally quoted would not be guaranteed due to an error on their end. Fourth red flag was not receiving my tags after 4 weeks of waiting for them and was informed that the paperwork was just submitted to the DMV 3 days ago. Lastly the customer service has been nothing but horrible. The lack of follow through from their employees (i.e. Malick) is an embarrassment for an organization and I would state that management (i.e. Dave) was better but that is not the case. Every time I called, I was given an excuse of why something did not occur or there was a delay. There is no accountability on their end! If I could go back, I should have trusted my gut and driven off the lot when I had the chance.

I am updating my review - Since I have reviewed Honda the company has been very responsive to my needs. Management responded appropriately and got me my plates that week. I am actually very upset currently with this dealership. Nearly 60 days ago I transitioned by car from a lease to a buy. I have not been able to get my plates ore registration for my car, which is costly due to lack of street parking registration. I have called many times and left messages and no one is responding to me. The one time I was able to get a person, she assured me she would call me with information about my plates on Tuesday. She has not. I have tried calling and have again left messages with no response. I was very happy with the person who discussed my car with me. But, since then, they have been unresponsive and uncommunicative. I hate leaving bad reviews but the amount of messages I have left that have been ignored is inappropriate.

NEVER BUY tires from these crooks....4 weeks ago I go in for a oil change after my B1 was on. I told them that is all I want, they kept trying to get me to get everything that goes with B1 car notifications. I denied that $299 charge and just wanted the oil change. They sales person stated I denied this before. In the end I only agreed to a oil change. Later on I get a call “oh your know front tire has a plug in it”. I was in shock because I have not had any tire pressure issues or anything. That was $350, so I guess they wanted to get their money some way. The sales rep says “when tires are law in tred, we don’t plug it.” So I have to pay the $350 as well. The next day I see my tire pressure comes on again!!! I have a very busy schedule, so a week and half later I go to sport Honda in downtown silver spring about the tire pressure because it’s obvious the other sport Honda has done this to my tires and thought I was about to come back and pay another $350. They guy at this Honda states “yes you have hole in your back left Tire”. After complaining, I got my car back and the tire pressure light has not came on, I guess he plugged that one, event though automobile Honda states they can’t plug tires when it low. Just crooks looking to make a sale. Will be sharing with other at work.

Mike Martinez in sales, TJ Troutman in finance, and Ray Collins in service were as professional, attentive, and helpful as you could hope. Sport Honda has exceptional pricing and financing, offer a hassle free experience, and provide a true market value for your trade. They really do work for the customer. Even though they are currently displaced from their normal location due to a fire, the customer experiences no negative impacts from the disruption of their normal business. I was in and out within a couple of hours, and they provided videos and information about my new purchase so that the short amount of time I was there seemed even shorter. The service department did a same day application of paint and interior protection, and were very responsive. They treated me as if my car were their car, and my time was their time. Do yourselves a favor. As Honda lives up to its reputation as one of the highest rated auto makers, Sport Honda exceeds expectations. This is the place to buy.

I had high hope's for this dealership as they had a good selection of certified pre owned hondas. My experience at this dealership went from mediocre to miserable. I was greeted at the door by a salesman, Florent. Florent got me and my partner into the vehicle we wanted to drive. After the test drive is when the experience started to sour. We decided that this was the vehicle we wanted. When we got back from the drive Florent nonchalantly asked if we "wanted to buy it." This was the first red flag, however it was the right vehicle in the right color so we said yes. At that point it felt like it was a race to get us to fill out the paperwork as quickly as possible. This was the second red flag. Once we filled out all of the paperwork we were ushered from the preowned building to the main building to discuss financing or I think that's why we had to go. Florent was not at all informative during the process. When we arrived at the main building we were told to sit at a table. No one came out to introduce themselves. No sales manager or finance manager to explain what the next steps were. While we waited, the sales manager walked past us at least three times never said hello or thank you for your business. After about a 20 minute wait, a member of the finance team asked us to come into her office to sign paperwork. Again. The hustle to sign paperwork was on. At this point we were near the breaking point. It was when we were informed that, despite a very high credit rating, we only qualified for a 6.6% rate. This rate was much higher than what I was quoted (by the same bank!) at home. I was treated very poorly and cannot recommend purchasing a vehicle at Sport Honda

I choose to go there because it is closer to my home than the dealer I leased my car from. I went there for service on time. Took about 2 hours while I was promised 1h and 15 min to 1 hour and half at max. I paid more than I used to pay in the other dealership and without complimentary car wash I used to get with the other dealer. The service itself was okay nothing special. I probably won't get my service again at this location.

That last experience could be characterized as high pressure, rushed, and I was blindsided by last minute price increases for packages I didn't want or ask for, leaving me feeling angry every time I got into my car for the first six months. Sport Honda was referred to us by our friend; We got quotes from many dealerships through email and Sport Honda had offered the lowest. When we were out shopping , we first visited Sport Honda and our salesman, TJ quoted a further low price upfront,without any negotiations/talks( we really were not interested in spending time haggling prices with different dealerships and really appreciated the upfront low pricing)... eventually ended up buying the car the same day ! ETA -- In response to Robert's comment on my review: Robert, I have bought and sold many cars, so I do understand variation in appraisals. However, as you know, there is something called fair market value. And it is just that, fair. They come to this valuation based on the going rate at thousands of dealerships. But I have never been offered 60% of Blue Book. What I was offered at Sport Honda was far from fair, which is okay. I can walk, which I did. HOWEVER, poor customer service aside, what *is* concerning is the reasoning for this offer as it wasn’t even truthful. He said my trade-in needed its routine maintenance, which it did not (and I know it did not because it was done only 3k miles ago). He said my trade-in needed a timing belt, which it not only did not need, *it does not even have one*! I get that everyone prices differently. What I don’t get is how thousands of dealerships can agree on a price range for a car and then Sport Honda thinks they can trick someone into accepting 60% of that, all based on mistruths. Poor business. ------------- Original Review -- On Saturday, I called Sport Honda and spoke with Kane, who confirmed the Honda I was interested in was still on the lot. I drove about 45 minutes to get there, test drove the car, and was ready to purchase it. That is, until Dave Kelly appraised my trade-in and offered 60% of Fair Market Trade-in Value (which I already knew based on multiple evaluators and a hard appraisal from a competitor -- this lady does her homework). [Strike one, Dave.] When I told the salesperson (Kane) that they would need to at least meet Blue Book value, Dave Kelly exited his office to come to Kane's desk with a paper (clearly eavesdropping, as he wasn't in the conversation) and was combative. Instead of trying to explain his stance, Dave was rude and, in a side manner without even looking me directly in the face, made passive aggressive comments about how he has been doing this for years. Clearly he's been doing it poorly for years, as his number was wrong, by a lot. Like, well below even the bottom cut-off for Fair Market Value of a trade-in. I was prepared to leave, but Kane said he wanted to talk to Dave to see if he could work something out. Kane comes back and says Dave said he can't budge, he'll only offer 60% of Blue Book because my car needs its 100k service. It already had its 100k service. [Strike two, Dave.] Then, he says it needs a timing belt which is $2k. Again, it had been recently serviced for routine maintenance (about 3k miles prior), so anything it needed was literally just done. [Strike three, Dave.] So I left and bought a better car (an Acura) somewhere else *and* got Blue Book for my trade-in, as I knew I would. Meanwhile, as I write this review almost a week later, their Honda is still sitting on their lot and Sport Honda has called me daily to try to make a deal (calls which have went unanswered). Funny thing about Google, when I got home, I did a little clicking. Turns out my trade-in doesn't even have a timing belt like Dave said. It had a timing chain. A timing chain does not need to be replaced, per many sources on google, unless the car is showing warning signs, none of which my car had. Then, even if it did need a timing chain, per reliable sources and a local mechanic, it doesn't cost $2k like Dave said it would cost. Then, I checked the manual for my trade-in. Turns out in none of the recommended maintenance per mileage does it ever recommend replacing the timing chain (again confirming that the timing chain should last the life of the car). Dave Kelly of Sport Honda is either a scam artist or completely inadequate at his job. He has poor manners and customer service, and talks down to people. He saw a single mom and likely thought he could pull a fast one. Sorry, buddy, this lady has Google (and multiple degrees where I learned how to research the heck out of any topic). I saved all my research in case Dave Kelly of Sport Honda wants to be schooled by a single mom (who is very happy with her Acura purchased elsewhere).

Although they were very nice while we were there, they absolutely will mislead you about which features each model has. We test drove an Odyssey Touring and when we asked what was the difference between the Touring and Touring Elite, we were told only about the upgrades NOT about the fact that the Elite doesn't have a key safety feature that the Touring does have. When I called to inquire about it after we had the car home, the sales manager acted like it wasn't a big deal and tried to tell me that an indicator light is actually an upgrade to a lane change camera. Whether intentional or not, they absolutely pulled a bait and switch with us.

My car would not start when I came out of a store on a cold morning. I called Sport Honda where I purchased my car 4 years ago. I asked for service department and the gentleman that took the call was immediately helpful. I explained my dilemma and how I had a similar incident in April of last year. I could tell that I had someone on the phone that was going to help me "from the heart" and not just another frantic female call. Luckily after a few more tries, the car started. I cancelled the tow and immediately drove to Honda shop. Upon arrival several people were coming out of the showroom while I waited to get my car inside. I recognized the voice of the person I spoke with over the phone. I asked if he was Robert and he said "yes". He looked at my dash and said he knew what the problem was and instructed me to turn off car. I was somewhat hesitant, but this nice, caring and wonderful person explained to me what the problem was. To end the story, I ended up spending $6.89 for a battery in my remote !! Before I was so stressed and it was great to have such a calming, helpful service advisor. I would recommend Robert Wiggington to anyone that needs service to their Honda automobile. Selling Lemons. I bought a CERTIFIED 2016 Honda Pilot from Sport Honda Silver Spring. Didn’t realize the molding on top of the was coming apart. Now the car is leaking and they are saying they are not responsible. There is one guy Phil in service he is very rude, racist and very condescending. He is not a nice guy at all. I strongly advise you not to do business with these guys. They Claim they Inspected everything but that is to get you to buy their cars. I shouldn’t have to pay all this money for a certified vehicle and worry about it leaking. So now I have to go and spend extra money fix it. So tired of these big fishes eating down the small fish.

Review stems from a use Accord Hybrid purchase with Tim Vo: Spark Note: Courteous and not pushy and seemed to be genuinely friendly regardless of whether we were talking about the purchase or just chatting. Full rundown: Came in following up on an online ad. Tim greeted me, offered me water/coffee etc and brought the car around and allowed me a test drive in a timely manner. After the drive we discussed some numbers for a short while but ultimately I still wanted to shop around a bit. Tim's attitude and courtesy did not change even once knowing that I was not making a purchase. Couple weeks later he alerts me that the car I came by to see had been reduced in price asking if I was still interested which I was. Came by, greeted with the offer of water/coffee and exchanged pleasantries. He asked if I wanted another test drive which was good because I am new to hybrids and was sort of hovering on the edge embracing the tech so the additional testdrive was nice. After the (2nd) testdrive we sat down and discussed totals. We worked the figure down just a bit but... while I do feel I could have pushed and *possibly* gotten a little more shaved off... I could have also run the risk of walking out on the car.... So instead, largely due to Tim's attitude throughout our interactions, I wanted to go ahead with the purchase. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend him as the POC for friends interested Honda's. Thank for your time!
