I showed up at 0700 sharp for my oil change and check up. Nobody except Mike was there. Had to wait TWO HOURS to get my oil changed and tires rotated. UNACCEPTABLE. Excuses abound - "Bad Weather, school delays, etc.." I dragged my butt out of bed and planned for bad weather to make it ON TIME. Why can't you?

If you want a place to buy a vehicle, then you have found the right place.. the salesmen and management (Vince) are down to earth and easy to talk to. There is no pressure here when looking to buy. They will let you test drive vehicles with no strings attached. They are up front with the price of the vehicles they have on inventory and will sit down and explain why the vehicle cost a said amount. This place has the best pricing in the area in reference to black book trade in values and wholesale cost. Reggie Mack will get you in and out the door with the vehicle and the price you want.

I had an excellent experience at Sport Chevrolet, buying a 2019 Bolt at the end of August. Jerson was my sales consultant. He was excellent throughout. He provided all needed info, set up a test drive, gave tips on the use of the car, etc. He helped put together a very comparable offer (well below MSRP and less than a local competitor). We we were in and out quickly. No hard sell - only useful info - just like I wanted it. I have not used any other Sports services as yet, but the reviews indicate the experience will be good. I'll put in another review when I take it back for a tire rotation. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new Chevy (particularly the Bolt! It's a great car.)

This was amazing. The quickest most convenient oil change I have ever had. It was similar to a carwash. It was around the back of the building. No leaving your car no getting out your car not even a long wait. The staff was super nice friendly. Great experience and convenient. Definitely recommend trying this.

Another great experience with the Service department. I was there for an oil change and was out relatively quick (under 1 1/2 hours). Kenny, my Service Advisor, is nice and always provides great service. I also want to acknowledge the great service I received from Shawn, the Cashier. There were items missing at the coffee station and Shawn replenished the area without hesitation.

Didn't have the parts for my 2000 3/4 ton Silverado and my 2002 Blazer Extreme, very disappointing that they have discontinued and couldn't direct me to a solution to find these parts , fuels lines, needed two pcs., said bye $391.00 set. Blaze side window weather stripping - discontinued, frame cross member , said to by the whole sub frame HUH !!

I was coming to just test drive some things and see what my options were. I was blessed to have cameron colbert as my salesman. He was excellent! I test drove a few cars as planned. However, I also ended up buying a car which was not apart of my plan lol I was extremely surprised at the prices. There were many certified used cars from 2018-2019 that were 20k and below. The finance man was awesome. They explained everything very clearly and everything made sense. Being a first time car buyer, I really appreciated how comfortable they made me feel. Although, this turned into a 3 day process, cameron remained very patient and enthusiastic. They have definately earned a customer for life, or at least until im in a higher tax bracket haha. I highly recommend individuals to go directly to cameron colbert for your car buying needs. This is the dealership to go to!!! Very happy with my experience here and with cameron :) !

I was looking for our first electric car Bolt EV. I have been talking to many Chevy dealerships in DC metro region. Car at Sport Chevrolet -fully loaded Bolt Premier-caught my eye. I called and got sales specialist Kayla. She could not have made the car buying process easier. From the first point of contact to car knowledge and settling on final price and waiting on us (came late in the evening to get car after work) entire process was truly great. I want to say thank you to Sterling! He was the peace of mind I needed. Definitely, the calm after the storm. Initially, I came in and was given to another associate (white guy with glasses and brown hair) they can see his name in their system. I don’t know if he was racist or just having a bad day. However, he was very rude and dismissive of my questions. I was inquiring about a run down of the entire process. He just kept reiterating that I needed to “sign the payment authorization form and give him my keys and we’ll go from there.” What does that mean?? I was completely unsatisfied! Give you $128 to look at my car & go from there? Worst customer service ever!! I wanted to know how intensive and how long this process could possibly be. Do I need to leave and come back? He seemed to be irritated at me questioning the process. His customer service skills were the worst I’ve experienced in awhile. I was ready to just leave, but I needed my car fixed. I signed off on paying a $128 diagnostic & still did not know what the process entails. I went to the front desk and requested a new service rep to help me. The young lady was very short with me. She asked did I sign the authorization paper? I said yes and she stated well there’s nothing I can. You already signed the paper. I let her I needed a manager because I refuse to work with him. She briefly took a min to contact someone and then reassigned me with Sterling. Sterling was a breath of fresh air. His positive attitude and delicate approach put my concerns at ease. He listened for understanding and not just to respond. He answered my questions.. ALL OF THEM! I gave him my warranty information and he called to see what they would cover. And gave me a run down on what needed to be done and why! I didn’t want to be left with a hefty bill so I tried to compromise on taking some things off the bill but he thoroughly explained to me the importance of each thing being done. I ended up getting all of the recommended services provided by the tech and just paid for it! He kept me up to date throughout the entire process until my car was ready! If I come back, (hopefully I won’t have to) I will just request to work with Sterling. Customer service means more to me than anything else. Especially if I’m spending my hard earned money! Sterling definitely exceeded my expectations because he restored my trust back into this location. Thanks Sterling! Your patience, customer service and knowledge did not go unnoticed! Thank you

I had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle on 12/31/18 from Sport Chevrolet. My sales associate was Chris Dowdell. I had my eye on two different vehicles and couldn’t decide if I wanted to go through with the deal due to a few other financial obligations on my plate. While Chris followed up as he agreed, he was never pushy and when I thought I was going to have to pull out of the deal Chris was understanding. Vince the sales manager was also amazing. I didn’t like how the finance manager mislead me. While it is my responsibility to read all docs, which I did he convinced me to purchase a secondary warranty that I would not have purchased if he confirmed what I told him and that was tha my used vehicle was still u set manufactures warranty. All in all I would shop here again as my overall experience was great. I feel the sales team went above and beyond to ensure my needs were exceeded.

I scheduled a test drive for a new Chevy Bolt and was expecting to sit through a long sales pitch. Instead, it was a completely no-obligation experience with just a clear explanation of all the features of the car and no pressure to close on a deal. I subsequently requested an out the door-price over email and was given an offer that was reasonable. This same price was honored a few weeks later when I went in to purchase the car. Overall positive experience for me, so I would highly recommend this dealer.

I was extremely happy with the service ... UNTIL I left the lot noticed there was a small cosmetic ding that was there when I bought the car along with the small scratches on the car as well . Long story short they won’t fix it because they swear it wasn’t there ... but I know it was there I drive the car no one else does and no one else has hit my car . I will not be going back here or referring anyone else because this is not how u treat customers . Customers not always right but what I’m saying should be at least considered . Apparently an appointment with them means that you get to sit on their waiting room for four hours just for them to tell you that a technician still hasn't looked at your car. But don't worry after four hours i was lucky enough to be then next in line to have my car looked at when the place was completely empty. We're experienced car buyers and have had a range of experiences. Our experience at Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring, MD was among the very best. Service on that day was efficient and professional yet personal and friendly. The Owner/GM came by to greet us. The Sales Manager, Brand Specialist and Finance Manger were in sync. Both financing and leasing options were provided. All of our questions were answered before we agreed to the deal. While we had a slight delay getting into Finance to sign our lease, our overall time from test drive to signature was less than 3 hours and at least 45 minutes was on test drive and product discussion. We were very happy with the experience and appreciate the Sport Chevrolet team's hospitality and professionalism.

I bought a car from this horrible salesperson, Sophia, who has since left this dealership. That was a good decision on their part. My car had all kinds of (what i thought) were minor problems, like the remotes not working well or scratches all over it. I bought this car approximately 3 years ago and have had nothing but brake trouble ever since. I take care of my cars and never had issues like this. To his credit, Gibbs (not sure if he's the owner) F. contacted me when i posted a bad review before and extremely graciously had the service team work on the problem. I was an emotional wreck and I acted like a crazy person (as a military veteran, this is not my norm, "emotional", but hitting the brakes and the car not stopping would have anybody terrified), and he never got sucked into my terrified, then angry reaction. They gave me a loaner, which was wonderful of them. I came back and got into my car after the service manager gave the okay. Didn't get out of the lot because the brakes were even worse than when it dropped it off! They took it back and I had the loaner for a couple more days. Finally got my car back and all seemed to be in working order. Fast forward to one year later. I am back here at Sport, same exact problem. I do not drive much because I work from home, only leaving to pick my kid up from work or run local errands, so the wear and tear in one year should be negligible. I wish they'd just take this car back, cancel the loan, and let me just be done with them altogether. Again, Gibbs was great but the car I was conned into and service I've experienced... the worst I have ever dealt with. It's like they did whatever temporary fix they could to get me out of their hair. I understand that I was, to put it mildly, a huge pain in the ass, but I don't deserve to be stuck with a car I should never have been sold. I would love to just walk away and find something somewhere else. *UPDATE: Gibbs came through! Thanks to him and my sales guy Tommy and finance guy Lee, I went in angry and frustrated and left literally over the moon! I am now the proud owner of a beautiful new 2018 Chevy Cruze! They worked miracles to get me into this car. I am referring all my friends and family to Sport Chevrolet, and they have me as a customer for life!!! Thanks, guys! You're awesome!

He was very kind and answered all of the questions I had over the phone. When we arrived later that evening, we actually worked with Haby. Haby was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and extremely thorough with us. He was very friendly, kind, and patient, answering all 100 of my questions! We did not feel pressured once. If I could rate zero stars, I would. Three weeks of Pete calling me on a daily basis, after my car accident, I finally got word from the insurance company that my car was totalled. I called the dealership and told Pete I was on my way to buy the car I test drove. He said they are open until 9. I already secured funding this would be an in and out deal. I drive all the way to Silver Spring only to find that the car I fell in love with that I was coming to pick up was being sold. I am still so disappointed. Very poor business practice. I understand that it could have been sold while I was waiting, but he knew I was on my way check in hand.

I've dealt with the service departments of at least 10 car dealerships over the years. I've had experiences that were sufficient to not make me look elsewhere, and I've had disastrous experiences (one even left the oil cap off my brand new car after its first service, and I drove 400 miles into a 1300 mile road trip before realizing. They didn't replace any components or offer anything other than a basic cleaning, and nearly everything was stained permanently thereafter. This was not a GM dealership or GM vehicle). However, Thursday I went to Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring, Maryland for a water leak in the trunk of my 2017 Cruze sedan. It turns out my weather stripping was defective. When I buy a new car, I hope not to have any defective equipment, but it does sometimes happen, despite any QC practices or best efforts. How it is handled is what makes the difference. I arrived at Sport Chevrolet around 4:30PM, expecting to meet a friend in the area around 5:30 after waiting for a service advisor, waiting for a rental (reimbursed), and signing all the paperwork. I was left with 45 minutes to kill. I was in and out, no hassle, in under 20 minutes, with every member of the staff that I interacted with (2 cashiers, one staff member getting the rental ready, and my service advisor) being very pleasant to work with. My service advisor kept me up to date on everything that was going on, including the necessity of special ordering the part and estimated delivery time, as well as the changed timetable of my vehicle being back in serviceable condition and ready for pickup. The call regarding the special order was on Friday morning, less than 12 hours after dropoff. The day my service advisor estimated I could pick up my vehicle came, and before lunch I had a call that it was ready. I came and picked it up that afternoon, inspected the work, got my copies of the service record, and left, again in under 20 minutes with a wonderful experience with every member of the staff including the two on duty cashiers, my service advisor, the valet, and the service technician. While I do most of my own routine maintenance on my vehicle, in the event that anything goes wrong, I trust Sport Chevrolet's service department to fix the issue well, quickly, and pleasantly with no hassle. Which, when you're talking about a vehicle, really means trusting them with your life. Edit: Gibbs, I see you check these frequently. Whatever you're paying your service staff, they're worth keeping, so make sure it's good. Just my $0.02

I traded in 2013 and 2016 suburbans and bought a 2019 suburban a month ago. The dealer still not paid off the loan balance of the traded in vehicles to the lender. I just got bills from the lender for the vehicles traded in. I have to pay the bills of vehicles I'm not owning any more otherwise it will mess up my credit history. I have been told the tag for the new 2019 suburban willl take a maximum of 2 weeks, but I didn't get it yet even in a month time. It is hard to get the phones answered to communicate these issues and they don't reply to emails too. Don't trust them when you trade in your vehicle.

I purchased another vehicle from Sport Chevrolet last week. Our salesman Eldon Charles could not be a better guy. I have purchased several vehicles from him for my family and my business and he always does his best to help be get the best deal with a vehicle that matches my needs. The sales manager Clint Rose also understands our needs and made additional suggestions to assist us in getting all the options we wanted at the best price they could offer. He saw that we received each bonus discount we qualified for with our purchase. We were then passed off to Lee Walker the finance person who quickly had our loan papers in order and out the door in less than 20 minutes. We were also greeted by Gibbs Folgarty the owner of Sport who checked in to see that we were happy and we moved along quickly. Given we were there on a Friday afternoon, I was happy to beat the rush hour and get going. The deal was done with a quick internet search, then speaking to my salesman, the sales manager, finance man and the owner general manager and we closed the deal in about an hour and a half including test ride to departure. A great team that saw to it we received the best deal and fast service. That is my kind of auto purchase. You will not be disappointed!

Bought 2 vehicles here which came with 3 free oil changes for each vehicle. Drove an hour out of my way to bring new car here for free oil changes, 2.5 hours later still waiting for oil change and tire rotation. Listing when I bought one car originally advertised certain features which were not on the car. They over promise to get you to buy and then extremely under deliver for services. Unless you want to spend half the day sitting in their waiting room don't use their service department.

We bought a beautiful z71 2017 under 30K miles in December of 2018. From the beginning treated very unfriendly, which if you work in Sales your attitude should be different. Since than this Truck has been in the shop 5 times. First three times it was rough start cold idle. First time the check engine light came on was within not even two months. Needless to say the staff of sport Chevrolet was uncapable to fix this issue until we moved to Colorado and had it fixed there. Now we’ve had to go to the shop two more times for different issues with sensors. It has been expensive, time consuming and so frustrating. This vehicle had to have had issues before and was sold to us. This dealership is untrustworthy and I recommend any other dealership. Beyond disappointed how people can sell faulty vehicles like ours.

One might have thought that my purchase of a Chevy volt was this dealer’s first transaction. They kept pulling what felt like either dirty tricks or gross incompetence with the pricing (I’d offer lower purchase and then agree, then the out the door price was suddenly higher because of “taxes”). New car came with 80% of a tank of gas. Salesman didn’t really do much in the way of setup. I returned my survey with honest and fair feedback and when I went back to the dealership to get my plates, the salesperson told me he didn’t appreciate it and got hurt by it (rather than apologizing for providing the bad service that led to the review in the first place!). Won’t be back to buy another car!

I had been looking for a car for some time. I searched around for several Chevy dealerships but I found a 2019 Chevy Malibu for an unbelievable price at Sport Chevrolet. The new car salesman Mr. Colbert assured me that the price wasn't a bait and switch (I had been through this before with several dealerships) and encouraged me in a non pressure way to come in and test drive it. I came in and test drove it. I didn't feel rushed nor did Mr. Colbert come off as "salesy". So after they ran my credit they worked hard to get me the best interest rate. It was with GM financial and because I financed through them I got an extra $750 off the car. On top of that they added some dealership "consumer cash" to lower the price even more. After everything was said and done the price of the 2019 Chevy Malibu was $10,000 less than the MSRP. I couldn't beat it. Five years ago I bought my Mercedes at this dealership and thanks to Mr. Colbert I'm a repeat customer. I don't know what miracles he worked to get me the car at this price but it's been a week since I purchased the car and I can't stop thinking about the deal I've gotten with this car. Thanks a lot Mr. Colbert.

We went to buy a 40k car on Black Friday, they said they if I have a Costco black card, I would have a 500 mail to my house. A week after I received a call from the guy saying that the promotion of the 500$ wasn’t going to be able to give it to me.
