Recently I purchased a preowned Porsche Panamera GTS from Porsche Bethesda. Would recommend doing business with them, they care about maintaining a relationship with their buyers not just selling cars. I had been eyeing the National Pre-Owned Porsche database for almost 8 months, and diligently been checking local inventory. To find a vehicle that fit my needs and price range. I was scrolling through used inventory during my lunch and stumbled upon a recently listed Panamera. The listing had gone live an hour ago without photos or information posted. I called Porsche Bethesda and spoke with Tony Hussain who provided me with the model information and other specifications. He said that the car had come in the day before and that they were going to begin the process of cleaning it, but I was welcome to come by for a test drive. I raced over immediately. Upon my arrival I met Dexter who was very friendly, offered me some refreshments, and more importantly allowed me to see the car immediately. I expressed my interest and he got the plates for our test drive. The test drive was great because I got the opportunity to test the performance of the vehicle in addition to it’s brakes. Dexter never rushed me, so I could get a feeling for the car, and after 20m I was sold. When we returned to the dealership Tony showed me the different finance options and did an appraisal of my Lexus. The price was more than fair, especially considering I had several accidents on the car. Once agreeing on a price I met with Joshua who explained the warranty options and waited patiently as I contacted my bank to discuss financing options. I have an excellent credit score and Joshua was able to beat their rate, which made me ecstatic. After I signed off on everything Dexter got me into a Macan loaner and I was on my way. The following evening they had my Panamera cleaned and serviced and I picked it up after work. 2 days after picking up the car the oil level light came on, I filled it up at a local Porsche dealership that explained the Panamera holds 10quarts and as soon as it hits 9 the light comes on. I had seen oil changes on the service list and called Dexter to verify, he emailed me the service notes. No problems the next 500 miles, then after 3 weeks the check engine light came on. I called Dexter who put me in touch with the service department. We played phone tag most of the day while I was at work. It wasn’t until late in the evening that we nailed down a time and I came in for service. (Luckily I got the extended warranty).

I called the salesman who sold me two cars and he gave me instruction to change the tire, and quickly facilitated the scheduling of the replacement when he could have easily sent me to the service dept. He also called me after hours to ensure that I had successfully changed my tire The service dept fit me into their schedule when i arrived, fixed the tire, and then let me know that the tire was under warranty. Thankfully for me, Daniel Slane, the lead tech, is highly knowledgeable and capable with over 30 years of experience. Together with service advisor Alex Valenzuela they make a good team as Alex is responsive, informative, and a pleasure to deal with. Not inexpensive but in this case you get what you pay for.

After the great experience from driving your Porsche into their service garage and lovely lounge, my service experience was poor. I drove my 986 in which I modified and dedicated all of time and work into the engine, custom exhaust and and other minor modifications. The greeting staff was great, but the service advisors lacked understanding in reference to the work i communicated to execute. After, service (this past Saturday) my battery cover was not installed. I found a hand grease mark in my quarter panel, and I was not completely satisfied (After spending hours detailing my 986). I needed to bring my 986 back into service moments after it left the service center because my coolant indicator light remained on, as soon as I Porsche’d out of there service garage (and they were not amicable for my return). I called Monday (today), and requested to speak to the manager. Lewis informed me the manager shall return my call within 10 minutes, 10 minutes came and went, it is now, past 7Pm, and I still did not receive a call nor vm from the manager (i called in the early opening hours). My family bought a used car here a few weeks ago. We traveled from NY, and had both of our kids with us. The customer service here is AMAZING! I’ve never seen another dealership cater to families and children so well. They had drinks and snacks available for the kids, and even had a small Porsche toy car that my three year old was riding around the show room. Everyone was so incredibly nice, and they gave my son a little care package to take home with snacks a toys. Their showroom is beautiful, and although the car we bought was a Jaguar, and not a Porsche, we are happy with our purchase thus far. Customer service is A+.

While I bought my car at another dealer, I chose this branch for my initial service appointment due to proximity to my job. I was not disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. The shop foreman (blanking on his name unfortunately) walked me through my appointment, and mentioned an additional factory recall on the radio. Given the need to extend the appointment, they offered and provided shuttle service to my office. The car was finished, updated, and thoroughly cleaned. I highly recommend their team to provide any service needs, and while I am hopeful my next service appointment is not any time soon, I will not hesitate to utilize their resources.

This place still has a lot of growing to do. Telephone wait times are way less but for someone who owns 350k worth of porsches that I bought exclusively from this dealership I expect a bit more urgency when I need an oil change. Most people will claim every customer is equal but when you're in business to turn a profit you MUST prioritize your highest spending clients. For this reason I usually go to Porsche of Tysons.

Below you could read my original experience review of Porsche of Bethesda. In all fairness to future customers I want to let you know that the items promised were not fulfilled. Once the sale was made we were never reimbursed as promised. We were told that it was being processed , then we were told it would be in the mail. Three months later we are still waiting for the mail to be delivered. It's not so much about the few dollars but about how a business honors their word. The night we came home we spoke about going back to Porsche of Bethesda when I was ready to purchase my Porsche. I even spoke to David about keeping an eye on one for me. However, I would not go back. If you can't keep your word on a small item then I can't feel confident on a larger issue. David acknowledged the conversation he had earlier with my husband, introduced him to the manager referencing the distance we drove and the earlier phone conversation. He quickly had the vehicle brought for us to view and test drive. After the test drive we went back to discuss the vehicle and the possible purchase. At all times, David was professional, detail-oriented, friendly and answered all questions. Although, David knew we weren’t there for a Porsche he did not hesitate to demonstrate the various Porsche models in the showroom. He was a pleasure with whom to work. There were no high pressure sales tactics and the negotiated deal was fair. Most importantly, there was a detailed written review of the service that had been performed at Porsche of Bethesda , to insure that the car was in excellent condition mechanically . So why the compelling desire to write a review? Well, we were at a Porsche dealership purchasing an Infiniti FX and we were still provided a quality experience. In addition to the general accommodations that are offered at most dealerships, our sales representative, David Aviles remained cognizant of time, distance and our comfort. Instead of having us sit at the dealership.He efficiently gave all the necessary paperwork which needed to be completed to the appropriate personnel , ordered our vehicle to be prepared for delivery and proceeded to accompany us to a local eatery while everything was being processed. This may not be the norm in every transaction, but it was a very nice gesture on David’s part. It got late but the customer service did no diminish. David remained with us until we checked the purchased vehicle, noted and answered questions. For instance, when we asked him for the nearest gas station because they forgot to fill the gas tank prior to making the delivery as indicated; David followed us to the gas station, took a photo of the receipt and is processing a reimbursement. David’s dedication to his customers and your dealership is commendable. He was a pleasure with whom to work and a true asset to your organization. The entire experience was worth the two hour ride

Very poor online sales process. Sales person couldn't close the deal, apparently without me flying there in person. Despite number ways to transfer $, bank wire, credit card, etc. They could not hold the car. Even though he sent me a shipping quote, and I asked what they needed to close the deal, they couldn't do it, and sold the car out from under me, wasting at least 4-6 hours of my time. Maybe they are better in person. Maybe not.

I bought a 2019 Cayenne from them in February. They shipped my car to Charlotte, NC. As soon as I saw the car I noticed some interior and exterior problem and mentioned it to Porsche Bethesda. They asked me to take the car to the local Porsche dealer and they will take care of it under the warranty. When they fixed my car they gave me a bill and they wanted me to pay for it to receive my car. So I paid them and Porsche Bethesda told me that they will take care of it and send me a check. 5 months later, we are in July and they even don't answer or return my calls or respond to my texts. I will not recommend them since they are not fast to respond and defiantly not honest.

Worst experience I have had. Had two issues: one with my heater blower that wouldn’t shut off even when the key was turned off, and a second issue with one door not closing completely. The mechanics claimed that the door issue was due to a prior accident due to them finding a thicker clear coat over the door in question—indicating that the door had been refinished. When confronted they checked the rest of the car and the clear coat thickness was similar. On questioning they said that the entire car may have been refinished due to an accident. NOT TRUE. Clean car fax, no evidence of repainting on the car, and car was owned by a dealer mechanic. Second, the problem with the blower was said to be due to “coffee spilled on the climate control panel”. Not true. The car was taken to different dealer in Tyson’s Corner VA. Blower issue was due to internal short in blower controller. Nothing to do with any coffee spill. No evidence for accident. Also confirmed with selling dealer and prior owner. Bottom line the mechanics and the service manager were deceitful in trying to purposefully prevent repairs under warranted service. For what reason, I really don’t know. I will never go back to this dealer. Be forewarned!

Bought a new 718 Boxster S from Rockville on July 8. Love the car and it's everything I hoped it would be. That being said, I apparently got the "new guy" car salesman that can't remember that I came in, we spent three hours together and I bought a car from him. Nine days later, I get a series of back-to-back emails from him. The first is inviting me to come in and test drive a car. Three minutes later after the first email, same salesman sends me a second email asking if the PCM issue on my new car got fixed. Apparently wasn't aware I was already in there three days ago with my son to get it programmed. After the third email in five minutes, I sent him one back telling him to stop emailing me. Gotta work on that "attention to details" part of the job guys. Sales is great; after the fact, not so much.

Worst Porsche dealership that I have ever dealt with; they told us they would hold a car for us to look at since we were coming out of state and we drove an hour to get there only to see...our "held" car driving off being shown to someone else. The great part was the guy driving it had come in after us, but the guy at the counter who was supposed to be finding a salesman to help us had wandered off to have a have a personal chat with a coworker. I would avoid this place at all costs; they can't even keep a simple promise like "we'll hold a vehicle for you."

I recently brought my vehicle to Porsche Bethesda and was incredibly pleased at the high level of individualized care and attention they pay to their customers. Starting immediately from entry into the service lane employees are polite and accommodating offering tea/coffee and other snacks. I received daily calls and updates about my vehicle and the issue was repaired when other local shops could not. While some of what I'm describing is not unique and should be expected, I found the high level of care and attention to detail very impressive and will continue to go out of my way to use Porsche Bethesda in the future.

Mike frederick was my sale men I brought a good friend who was experienced in dealing with dealers because he use to work in one. He disrespected my friend and attempted to force me to buy a car I couldn't even test drive. When looking at the he didn't even have the keys ready for us making us wait outside show lack of service. Wait 15 minutes outside wondering where he us. When asked if I could drive another car simuliar to the one I was interested the look he gave me was as if he didn't want to. Great customer attention for everything. I purchased new and added a number of extra service options. Sure, there's always arguments to be made for whether they're worth it or not. Well, I'm pleased to say Michael handled an odd wheel rim problem (cosmetic, but not?) with no quibbling at all.
