The experience of purchasing our new Lexus RX350 was great from beginning to end. My husband and I came in from out of town to purchase the car. We were picked up at the airport (above and beyond the call of duty) by Lexus associate extraordinaire, Tony Rincon. On the way back to the dealership, which was 30 to 40 mins away, Tony took the time to explain the many features of the RX350. And, as we pulled into the dealership, there was my new car, big red bow atop just waiting for me. It made everything feel special. Paperwork time wasn't too bad and in no time we drove off with our brand new Lexus. Working with everyone at Lexus of Rockville was a pleasure. They were welcoming, courteous and knowledgeable. The service department here in Rockville is great. I had a late afternoon appt. on a holiday for the 3 yr standard service of our IS 350, but was met promptly.and courteously by staff.. Andy recognized me from an earlier service and greeted me with a smile. It had been a busy day - I took a loaner. I expected to hear from them mid-afternoon the next day, but found a message saying a mechanic worked late and finished the service by 7pm the same.day - nothing unexpected came up, The cost was as predicted, and away I went (the next day). The car feels great - this service department gets things right the first time. I couldn’t ask for better!

I went in for an air bag recall. Was promised the car would be completed by 9am and it was. The waiting room is very comfortable with food drinks and plenty of comfortable seating. Also, the rest rooms were very clean. I usually don't take my cars into dealers because of bad experiences in the past. I'm still hesitant, but I might have to think about coming back here for my periodic maintenance.

This was my first time going to the Rockville dealership for service. Shawn the Service consultant was fantastic! He listened to the problems I had and identified what needed to be done as well as pointing out I needed a new display screen, which I never remember to address with my previous service manager. He was willing to work me and made the experience that much more pleasant. The experience @ Lexus Rockville was by far the best I've ever had with car buying. The process of ordering the car, communicating with the dealer and pickup were seamless and professional. Please note: I've been a Lexus owner for years and live in New York City. I purposfully drove to MD, rather than Lexus Manhattan due to customer service issues, and could not have been more happy with that decision. Seth was my sales person and was fantastic through the entire process. When meeting with the finance lead and GM, I had an equally positive experience. I will consider always buying from them, even though it is. a4+ hrs drive!!

If I can give this dealership a Zero I will. Please do not purchase form this dealership if you don't want to wait 4 months for your paperwork. Do not deal with James or so-called General Manager Ollin. Ollin is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He just wants to find someone else to put the blame on. He's OK to say after 4 months from purchasing the car not to have the paperwork. I did purchase it from out of state. They did give me "No thanks to mr. Ollin" 3 temp plates. Peter and the master service technicians on his service team are excellent. We’ve owned our privately purchased, used Lexus for only two weeks, which is our first Lexus experience. The car had five recalls the prior owner neglected to do and I had additional parts already purchased for preventative maintenance since I was not fully aware of the vehicle service history. Peter kept me updated as needed since the recalls took a few days to complete along with the other work I requested. Even when there was a $10 difference in the price he quoted for a drive belt, Peter called me to let me know just so they were no surprises. Excellent communication. I had a terrific experience with Ourisman Lexus and this is where I will continue to service the my Lexus for as long as I own it.

The dealership have good cars but the salesman I was working with made me wait over 40 minutes. I had money in hand ready to spend and he left me in his office while he went to put license plates on cars he may have sold previously. The prices listed for the CPO Lexus doesn’t include the warranty. They tack on the price for the warranty. I never heard of this practice they try to mimic CarMax by not allowing haggling. If I didn’t want to haggle I would’ve gone to CarMax that set the standard on no haggling not a dealership trying to mimic another dealership Practice. The car was listed a few hundred dollars above KBB then the warranty on top of that. I asked why the price of the car is being sold above book value and was told they don’t use KBB.

I had an appointment for repeated low tire pressure. Was told there was a nail in the tire and $75 to fix. Too high, I know because I've done this fix myself and had other shops do it in the past, but they had to assess it first, I was already there, and time is money so I said ok. When I went to check out (2.5hrs later) the total was just over $100. When I protested a 30% increase from my quoted price, I was met with some "parts and taxes are standard" dogma. I asked to speak to a manager to confirm that this was indeed the nature of my relationship with my Lexus dealership, but instead they simply knocked the price back to $75 (thanks) and patronizingly showed me another customer's bill as though to prove that indeed they do normally charge "parts and taxes" fees. Not the point. It's possible I failed to hear the "plus parts and taxes" part of the quote, but even so 2.5hrs (with appointment) and a 30% cost increase is unacceptable. Car dealerships in general are known for high prices and a weak grasp of the importance of customer service and Ourisman Lexus of Rockville proudly upholds the trend.

I was there today to get some help with issues that I've been recently having with my car bluetooth and my cellphone. Their technology expert Bernie was very helpful. He took his time and made sure everything was in working order. It took a while, MUCH longer than either of us expected. It too so long, it was even time for him to be off work while he was working on it, but he still very patiently assisted me and made sure it was fine before I left. My children were with me because it was thinking it would be relatively quick, and he was also very nice and conversational with them as well. He definitely knows his stuff!! CONSUMER BEWARE ***NIGHTMARE*** Previously owned by Sonic and acquired by Oursiman. I went in for service and came out with services not being rendered and a crashed vehicle 30 days later! The worst customer experience ever at this location. Lexus is no longer ranked as an elite motor vehicle brand. I was loyal to Lexus for 12+ years and they treated me improperly. I will NEVER purchase another, and will ensure everyone knows that Lexus is independent sales so headquarters will not advocate for you in any way. They will keep you in the dark and not produce all documentation and headquarters will do nothing about it because the management here is unreachable! SERVICE is not on the menu here. Your vehicle will NOT receive thorough care and when you raise concerns to the GM, Assitant GM level you will NEVER hear back. Horrible business acumen and lack of operations at this location.

This place used to be good and I had several services before with no problem. But recently the ownership has been changed and with that the quality of service has gone down. Be aware of the estimated cost of the service they provide when you check in, they are going to charge you 40% higher even for simple service like oil change which should not be hard to give a correct estimate. So don't count on their high positive reviews, they are from before the ownershipchange.

My 80 year old dad went into look at cars. They added all this to the already above market price and took a $2,000 deposit on his credit card. They tried to charge him for their CPO inspection and another $400 to clean a clean car. This is a car that can be bought all day long for $30,000 they tried to pop him for $34,750. There are a lot of honest car dealers out there this is not one of them. It took them 5 days to refund his good will deposit, that's illegal in Maryland. He bought a similar car from Sheehy Annapolis for $28,500

II talked to Arnold about a 2013 Lexus rx350 on Monday. He said it was being serviced but said it would be available Tuesday or Wednesday and would call me. I called Wednesday and he said he would call me back. He didn’t. Later that day I got a message from CarGurus saying the car was sold. My husband talked to Eric yesterday because the car was listed again, and he was supposed to call back. No call back. I sent a message this morning to get information about this vehicle. Alexandra said the vehicle was in for service. I sent another message asking for an honest answer on what is going on with this car. No response. I chatted with someone online and asked the manager to get in touch with me. No response. What else can I say

Service is exceptional ! I loved the cafe and they have amazing cars. I have a 2016 Mercedes GLE 350. The headlights on the Mercedes are super dim and very dangerous, when it is raining it like you are driving in pitch black. Is Mercedes serious, why would they try to sell a very bad quality car to people. Since the Mercedes was so awful, I decided to buy a Lexus . I was blown away with how bright the Lexus headlights were and I felt very safe. Plus the gas for the Lexus is also very inexpensive and the service you get on the car is inexpensive. They are very powerful on the highway. Lexus is so much better than Mercedes. I definitely recommend a Lexus to anyone who is looking for a inexpensive and great quality car.

My car died suddenly in a parking garage on Friday afternoon.. AAA came and jump started. I was afraid to turn off the motor and immediately drove to Lexus Rockville. They identified that it was a computer problem , and placed a phone call to the warranty company to assure me that it was covered. They gave me a loaner car until it was repaired. Dishonesty, deceipt, disappointment made this our worst car buying experience ever. The loss of respectability and the bad reputation that car salesmen have are a result of the kind of activity that goes on at the Lexus of Rockville dealership. Salesman Tim Wood lied to me and my wife as we were trying to purchase an IS350 from another state. Knowing that we had to drive to Maryland to sign and pick up the car, we were given a higher interest rate than what was promised, we were told that the car included upgrades to later find out that were not, and we were ignored when attempting to contact the general manager, Ollin Dunford. We made multiple calls and sent text messages to resolve issues that could have been avoided so easily. In the end, as we told Ollin Dunford and the sales manager Cedrick, it was not about the money but about the dishonesty and indifference.

Bill Lum was a great salesman, but I feel like that is where the integrity stopped. Seems Gerald will say anything to get a sale completed but then not follow thru and create reasons why he did not keep his word. It is a shame to buy a car on Friday and the sales manager will not take your calls or return a call less than a week later. Called at least four times yesterday, just to ask a simple question about why my liftgate would not go up. Finally had to call Lexus of Silver Spring and the gentleman took three seconds to inform me that I had accidentally hit the off button inside of the Glove box. Guess I will send any referrals to Silver Spring Lexus.

I will never go back to this place to service my nor will I recommend to anyone. They have the worst customer service. I didn't buy a Lexus to get this kind of treatment. I scheduled an appointment to get my vehicle service. When I arrived at the service, there was no one there to assist. After standing around like an idiot for about 10 minutes, I had to waive down an employee who seems to be the attendant. He was busy trying to get a service advisor for another customer and no one was available. He said that one adviser is about to leave and another one is on lunch or something. I called the front desk to speak to a manager and they transferred me to a voicemail. My wife asked another employee for a manager and after 20 minutes a service advisor reluctantly came out of an office, skipped the gentleman who was waiting before us to ask for our key and phone number. They said it should only take 1-2 hours since it was just simple first 10k mile service. I didn't receive a call for 4 hours. When I finally picked up the car, there was still no one attending the service bay. I had to chase down the service advisor who I spoke with and he just handed me my receipt. I didn't even get a thank you for your business, nothing. The car was returned to me without a wash which is something I never had to ask for even when I had my Honda serviced at the dealer. I will be contacting their corporate and provide my feedback as well. This is very absurd. I have never seen such a bad customer experience at luxury brand like this.

I took my 2013 IS there for a routine maintenance appointment today. Left the dealership and drove about 1/4 mile when the service light came on so I pulled into the nearest parking lot. Turns out someone had left my car hood open. I had my tires rotated too... wondering if they remembered to put the lug nuts back on when they rotated tires? Contacted the Service Manager, Matt someone, and got a voice mail message. Called back and asked the Receptionist to overhead page the Service Manager for me. She was patronizing and had a lot of attitude and informed me that Matt was with customers to which I responded to her that I was a customer too. I left my name and phone number and was told Matt would call me back. But I never heard back from anyone. So this is the excellent Lexus customer service that they rave about??? Obviously, Lexus of Rockville has a lot to learn about customer service. This is not the "experience" I was expecting as a new Lexus customer and am very disappointed.

I think I have the obligation to write another review for the excellence of the job done by the people here. I bought the Lexus RX 350 here on January 16, 2019. Since then the company experienced a huge changes/reorganization and because of that, the process of my new title and registration were delayed over two months. I felt panic when the temporary plate near expired and called them many times to resolve the problem. All people are very friendly and tried their best to help me. Here are a few of them: Seth, Amal, Jesse, .... thank you all for giving me an instant response! Also thank the new title clerk who just worked the 1st on Monday and processed my title materials quickly; the new plate and title were sent out Wednesday and now I received it today Thursday March 21! Left my Lexus for 5K service. When came to pick it up, 4 of the lug nuts were damaged. My service adviser Omar was nowhere to be found. They said he would call me back. When he called me back he agreed they would order 4 new lug nuts and will setup appointment for me to come back. He did not however forget to mention for me to leave a great review. Anyway, that was almost 2 weeks ago. Last week we played phone tags. He would call me and leave a message. I would call back within an hour, and then he would call back the next day. They charge over $200 for the 5K service, but cannot replace quickly lug nuts that would cost them under $10. Lexus' service at Lexus of Rockville is not what it used to be before and it is definitely not what Lexus is famous for.

The experience was great. I went in mainly for a safety recall. But there were a few other issues. All issues but one was resolved. The communication was great and the replacement car was a new Lexus which was fun to drive. It would have been great however, if there was additional communication about a reported issues that the shop was not able to replicate. I found out that it was not resolve later and saw notes in the file that they were not able to notice it. I wish they have called me first and I could have explained it to them. When I was there next for another reason, I was able show a different adviser (since the initial one was not in yet) the issue and he agreed. Would it not have been wonderful for him to communicate this to the person who handled the initial fix to call me to to resolve the issue! Anyway, I will see if they are willing to resolve the next time I go there.

I brounght my car in for a check engine light, I was told I had a bad knock sensor and a tail light out. I was quoted $1499.00 and I authorized the repairs to be done. When I got my car back the tail light was still out and now my navigation display screen was no longer working. I called them back right away to make an appointment to bring it back for the light that I had already paid for and also the display screen. A few days later I dropped my car off and explained that the display was fine when I left my car with them. That afternoon they called to let me know that the display screen not working was not their fault and just a coincidence that it stopped working while the car was in their possession. They quoted me $1100.00 to repair the display screen. I will never bring my car to this service shop again, I feel they caused the problem with the display screen and if I couldn’t see that the light I was out I would have paid for a repair that they didn’t do. I would give less than a one star rating if possible. I will be buying my next Lexus from another Lexus dealership. This was extremely bad customer service.

You pay more for the Lexus experience but you do get more. I went in for the airbag recall fully expecting it to not merit a loaner car, so I was very pleased to hear Bill say “wait here and we will get you the keys to your loaner.” I didn’t have to wait long and got to try out an SUV Lexus for a day. When I got my own Lexus sedan back, they had filled my gas tank. Overall good experience. I’d made my appointment online, which also was nice.
