**Update** So I went back for my second “free” oil change and the service was better—certainly, it was friendlier. That said, while I was waiting I noticed an advertisement for hail damage repair at the dealership. I asked about it and was told I’d be better off getting it done “someplace else. It will be cheaper.” When I pointed out the ad running just above the service reps head, he agreed to have someone look at it after the oil change. When I picked up my car, I was introduced to Chris, who took a look at it and said he’d get back to me in an hour or so with an estimate—a week later, I still haven’t heard anything. So, again, the visit was disappointing. Perhaps I expect too much but I never had this problem at Fairfax Honda; I thought Acura was supposed to be a step up. I guess I was wrong. Disappointing. When I bought my Acura I was promised outstanding customer service; I didn’t get it on this visit. Things started out well-the woman who was able to reschedule my appointment from Friday to Thursday couldn’t have been more helpful. Once I arrived at the dealership , however, things went downhill. When I walked in for my 5:30 pm appointment no one greeted me. Eventually someone looked up and asked if they could help. “I’m here to have my car serviced.” “Tomorrow?” “Today. I have an appointment at 5:30.” “ Let me see if we still have someone here to do it.” It was 5:15pm. “Your appointment was at 5.” “ I’m pretty sure it was 5:30.” “Let me go look at your car.” I checked Acura Link just to be sure it wasn’t my mistake. It wasn’t. “Okay. We can do it but the car wash closes at 6, so we can’t wash it.” “No problem.” So, they changed my oil but no one even offered to show me where to wait. They did wash my car but despite what my receipt said, they didn’t vacuum it. I said please and thank you; they did not. Did I get what I needed? Yeah, I did. Was it a good experience? No. I probably wouldn’t go back if it weren’t for the “free” oil changes I have remaining. Will I buy another car there? Not if the service doesn’t improve.

Chevy Chase Acura has done great service on my vehicle. If you buy a Certified Pre-owned vehicle from them, you will get two years or six free oil changes plus complimentary car washes for as long as you own your vehicle. It’s a busy place so plan on waiting about two hours for an oil and filter change but I have no complaints about the service.

Chevy Chase Acura (CCA) provides an environment conducive to procuring a luxury vehicle. A quite private conference room to discuss transaction details. David Petty truly earns the title Senior Sales (and leasing) Consultant. I appreciate that he guided me through the vehicle feature selection process and facilitated my understanding of the lease benefits. Giovanni took me through the lease paper work in less than 1/2 hour. Until dealing with these gentlemen, my prior experience with many dealerships led me to believe the vehicle buying / leasing process had to take MANY hours, more frequently, most of the day. I had done research on the CCA website. We were there a total of 2 hours. most of which was my looking at colors, discussing trim levels and taking a test drive.

I don’t why I waste my time looking for the best deals at other Acura dealerships. I was in the market for a new vehicle and I visited two Acura dealerships in the area who are full of false promises. I have gotten my last two cars from Chevy Chase Acura and very recently just got my third. We are very happy with the service and communication that Michael Dodson provided us with. He was always honest and realistic with me when it came to price. In the end, i was able to get a great deal in a really great car. As I mentioned, I don’t know why I bothered to waste my time with the other dealerships when I should of reached out to Michael at Chevy Chase Acura in the first place.

Given Acura is a luxury brand, it was expected that we will be exposed to them upselling a lot of stuff along with the car. However, Frederyc didn’t attempt any of it and was just focused on ensuring that our Acura experience was as pleasant as it could be. This was the worst experience at a dealership I have ever had! I drove almost 3 hours to buy a SUV . It was the day before the 4th of July. I got there around 4 and didn't leave until 9. We were the only customers there! I had my two children with me 11 and 12. We sat for hours only for them to tell me they could not finance anything under 5000.00 . I didn't want a high car payment. Meanwhile one of their sales people tried to sell me on a product that she was selling on the side. I thought it was awesome that she was trying to help me but all the while it was to sell her business. Very unprofessional. After leaving she still called trying to sell the product. A month later I was going to purchase a SUV at a different dealership and realized I didn't have my title. They had never given it back to me. I called and they had it. Didn't offer to overnight it. I had to drive another 3 hours to get it. Oh and heads up, after looking over the sales paper they were adding things they had fixed and done to the vehicle prior to me purchasing it . I do NOT recommend anyone buying a car from this place!!!!!

This is usually Acura dealership I go to for most maintenance and repairs. I was very disappointed in my last couple visit. This very last one I went in to get a few things done and my door wouldn’t lock because the key slot for my 2010 Acura TL kept giving an error message. The guy told me before they couldn’t even look at the problem it would cost 350 for a new key n 150 for a diagnostic. Plus whatever the repair was. I decided to do my other repairs n research the issue some more. I found on the web today that the error displayed is a know issue with the key slots and it showed how to fix or I would need to replace the slot. I fixed myself in 3 mins. Now I will be deciding whether to go to the Acura dealership in laurel or here whenever I get my car worked on only because I live in DC. If not it would be laurel for sure.

When I first got there there was no one to help. Everyone was busy. There should have been a service desk to orient me and other clients. Finally someone did help and the customer service was good. I ended up with a loaner car which was also good. When I came back the next day it was difficult to find out who was helping me again. Then I was falsely accused of denying the car but they rectified the situation quickly. I was told my car was supposed to be washed and they only cleaned the outside. I thought they would clean the inside as well.

Where do I start with this company. I had a memorable experience dealing with this company. After having to come back over and over due to the sales person not examining the car I wanted to look at, I realized this is not the dealership to purchase from. I did however get help from a gentleman who was not my salesperson who was phenomenal but somehow I received the worst customer service from my actual sales person Fred and manager Mike. First problem I had was that both my salesman and the used car manager didn’t smell pleasant which I think should be a priority when working with customers. Second, the used car manager seemed more interested in his coworker than helping to assist with my purchase. The process took a very long time and his goal was not aligned with making me a satisfied customer. Third, my sales person asked me for a ride home which is unorthodox but I understood. The problem I did have with him was, on the way to drop him off, he asked if I smoked which I thought was unprofessional. I don’t know if I gave off a stoner vibe, but I would never think to ask someone I don’t know that question but I respectfully declined. He proceeds to inform me how he does not like certain things about his job. He informed me the reconditioning fee he tried to charge me was just something he didn’t agree with working there, and that the company just charges it to make more off each vehicle. So after I dropped him off, I sat and thought about the conversation I had with the used car manager. I spoke with him about his repair cost for the vehicle not adding up to the "RECONDITIONING" fee he was trying to charge, and after 10 min he said he would waive it. But during this argument he went on and on about only having a couple hundred in profit for the vehicle and selling it at the cost he received it for. Now that would have been great if the sales person did not tell me he thought he could give me a discount because they purchased the car for a good price. Now if the reconditioning fee is just an attempt to gain extra money off the vehicle, which I was told by my salesperson on my way to drop him off, which could be waived even before engaging in conversation with the manager, why would you choose to insult me during the negotiation process. While I tried to explain to the manager that there was a similar car for cheaper at another dealership, he asked, “ Well why don’t you get that car” which I explained the Bethesda dealership was a little closer. Overall I thought since I was referred by a friend of Sam Weaver, I would receive great customer service. Maybe I should have started with that as my introduction. Look elsewhere before doing business here. You will pay for it in the end.

Yay! Finally a dealership that operates on principles of transparency, customer service, and a pleasant sales transaction. And they are speedy! In the morning I messaged via the Express Store on their website asking for a quote. David Petty emailed me shortly thereafter asking a couple questions, and before 11am I had an excellent price and terms. After struggling with several other dealerships for two weeks trying to get quotes over email, this treatment from Chevy Chase Acura was such a nice surprise. After work I met with David, enjoyed a test drive, and marveled at how patient and non-pushy he was. I was offered a variety of color choices, and offered additional test drives as needed, then made my choice and started the paperwork process. There were no surprises, no visits by a manager, just a simple, pleasant experience guided by David's friendly and knowledgeable presence. The run through finance was quick and pressure free too. This was such a modern, 2018 kind of car buying experience. For a great price, no pressure, and a really good selection, Chevy Chase Acura, and David Petty, are the way to go.

Great experience buying a car at Chevy Chase Acura! I live and work in Bethesda, so this was my first stop when buying a new car. My sales rep, Richard Boyd, greeted me right away and gave me my space to look around (which I appreciated). Once we engaged, he showed me an RDX and eventually we pivoted to an MDX (my decision) - he was patient and knowledgeable; nothing bad to say about other car brands, just focused on his product. We sat down, went over some numbers and I asked to think about it. He agreed to let me think about it and I left. No "let me get my manager" / high pressure sales nonsense. I ended up liking the MDX over the Lexus RX and QX60. I was not sure if CCA would be the place to go because it's in downtown Bethesda (I was expecting it to be pricey), but the deal was better than all of the other dealerships in the DMV and my True Car price. I spoke to the Sales Manager, Ralph and he walked me through all of the pricing details, my trade justification and just seemed honest - I appreciated it. The closing process didn't take too long - they have a good system with the business office and detailing. If I wasn't signing paperwork, Richard was showing me around the dealership, service department or explaining the car systems. He called me the next day to see how I was making out - very well, thank you. This was a case study in how to treat a customer from start to finish. If you're thinking of a new Acura, find Richard and get with the CCA team!

If you are looking for a new or used Acura, I highly recommend this place. Hands down, the best Acura dealership in MD and VA in terms of price, service and transparency. They will treat you like family and not push you over aggressively to make a sale. Ask for David Thomas for a professional and efficient car buying experience. Got my new TLX within few hours and this was including a test drive, paperwork, fun conversations and a TLX 101 class at the end to go over some features. Their financial manager and the general manager are awesome as well. This is the best car dealership I have been in for service and sales. I have bought leased and serviced 4 Acuras from them over the past few years and will be buying my next car here too. Phil Buzilo is outstanding in Sales and gives good advice - he even told me to wait once for a lower price. The free car washes are good, but more than that is their friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They are also a recommended repair center for most insurances and all I do when I have a problem is tow the car there, leave it in the basement and leave a note for them that I will need a loaner.

I ordered an accessory for my SUV. I needed to return the item because a duplicate order was placed and received several weeks ago. I did not need two of the same and decided to return the item that I received a week ago. I made contact on the website and a few days later, someone contacted me by text asking what the item was and if I still had the receipt. Then I was told to go to the parts department and present the receipt. The item was shipped to me. Seems as though I am getting the "run around" with this place. The invoice says 30 days to return. Not good business to ignore customers! Good product...Awful experience returning. Never will order from here again.

Eric Sanchez and the mechanic Roberto Jarquin really did an outstanding job. My car had a strange noise and one dealership said I needed a new transmission another one said that I needed new brakes. The bill would have been thousands of dollars. Ethan took careful notes to tell the mechanic and called me with what was needed before doing any work. I learned my car needed a software update covered by warranty and a brake flush. The car was finished in a couple of hours and cleaned inside and out. Saturday 3/30/19: I wish I could give 0 stars. Today I visited the dealership because I forgot something in my car while being serviced. Before taking care of that I stopped by to look at the cars available. Mind you, I’m about to spend close to $5,000 for servicing and repairs on my vehicle. I talk to a salesman regarding a vehicle I liked and I informed him put something together and get back to me with the full intention of purchasing the vehicle today. About an hour later after speaking with him I call and leave a voicemail. Few hours later no reply. I call in again still no reply. So tomorrow morning I’m going to ask what was done as far as repairs to my car. Pay whatever I need to pay, and take my vehicle elsewhere to get serviced and purchase the vehicle elsewhere. Update 4/1/19: I reached out to the customer service manager by the name of Carlos Correa, no reply. I guess they don’t want to make any money or they made the assumption that I’m not qualified to make the purchase. Either way it’s a bad look.

It was all flat. when i left the car with them the tire was fine. It took them 18 days to fix though they promised 7 days.
