Fake news, deceptive ads, second class dealership. Visited on 6/29/18, worked with a salesperson Wayne Cernik, then few minutes with the general manager. Btw, Wayne was very nice, My issue and complaint is the deceptive website ad and the explanation by the GM which are very deceptive and assumes their customers are uninformed idiots... Came here from California to search for an apartment in DC, drove extra 90 minutes to lease the car because of the “great deal” I saw on the website. I even emailed the sales person couple weeks ago( who never disclosed the additional $3500 cash required for the deal). XC40 special lease deal states $325/month, 36 months with “$3325 due at signing”. Whe you get there, they will charge you another $3500 cash if you want the $325/month rate. When I confronted the salesperson he said “ I didn’t create the ad”... then when I confronted the general manager, he gave me two answers: 1) the fine print says the “ due at signing” does not include taxes and fees — for anyone who has ever leased a car, when was the last time the “due at signing” did NOT include taxes and fees. The general manager also said that “if the deal is too good to be true, it’s not” — basically admitting this ad is a deception 2) GM said this deal is “Volvo national lease program” - I just checked Volvo official website... it CLEARLY states that the $3325 CASH due at signing”; Bill Kidds website conveniently deleted the word “CASH” to imply that the total due at signing is $3325. Also, the dealership itself is cramped, interior disorganized and generally has a ghetto feel. Please do not bother going to this dealer; you will feel like a second class citizen the second you walk in...

This is one of the worst dealerships you will ever go to. They charge $100 per hour for labor and charge 400% markup on parts they replace. They will rip you off and not care. They don't see you as customers but as an easy mark.

Used this shop for years. They were good when the car was under warranty and Volvo covered repairs. After warranty I discovered that they are way overpriced. They came down to a competitive bid last time, but did not reinstall a hose properly, causing additional repair and expense at a respectable shop down the street. Had I taken it there, I am sure I'd be fleeced again. I've rethought having Volvo, even though I like the brand, as my next car given the experience. My hope is that others have a better experience, but do shop around.

My daughter and I were driving from Pennsylvania to BWI to catch a flight when our "low oil" light came one. I had my daughter quickly google the closest Volvo dealership. We called Bill Kidd's Volvo, explained our situation and they told us to come right in. We lost about 45 minutes in total back tracking on the beltway and then on I-83 so we were really in a time crunch to make our flight. They took care of us immediately and saved the day! We made it to BWI without any other issues and made our flight. Thank you so much!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. I would avoid them at all costs if possible. We bought a 2 year old XC90. Within 3 weeks of purchase, the car ended up losing climate control and has now been at our local dealership for repairs for over a week. When I spoke with the salesman Steven Migash, and a sales manager, they claimed it was just bad luck. The local dealer says there was a recall inspection on the drain for AC drain hose that they should have taken care of. As a result, all the electrical in the wiring harness under that driver's seat got wet and had to be replaced. It seems like Bill Kidd got their money and didn't care about our experience. Why would they care about yours?

I typically do not write bad reviews but my experience with the Volvo Service Center has been HORRIBLE. Let me start off by saying my experience purchasing the car was awesome. My sales person Debbie Skipper was incredible and the sales manager was fantastic. My car is less than a year old and the emission light went on three weeks ago. They could not get me into a loaner vehicle for three weeks. There was no driving issues so they told me it was ok to wait. I dropped my car off and was helped by a nice man who apparently was not my service advisor Josh. I explained I needed my car back by 5 so I could pick my child up. Nothing all day so I finally text them via a message they sent me telling me to text if I had any questions. 30 minutes no answer, so I call and am told my service advisor Josh is on the phone and will call me back. I never received a call back so 45 minutes later by 4:30pm I call again and the woman who answers the phone tells me she just got the paperwork and my car is done. It takes me an hour to get there so you figure during that hour time my service advisor Josh would call me to explain what was wrong with the car. No call. I pick up my car, ask what was wrong with it and the cashier tells me my advisor Josh is with a customer to wait. At this point I am late to pick up my daughter so I leave. No call after I leave to explain what was wrong with my car. The nice gentleman who took my car leaves me a message this morning while I am on the phone and says he is calling for my service advisor to make sure everything is ok. Still no personal call from my advisor. Surprise, I am driving into work this morning and the light comes back on. I call the service department immediately and they tell me no service advisor is available. They will call me back. That was two hours ago and still no word. Very disappointing service.

Was interested in the XC90 Inscription. Walked in the dealership on a Saturday afternoon and wanted to take a test drive. I stood in the showroom for 10 minutes looking at the vehicle. No one acknowledged my presence. This is the second time in the last year that I have walked into this dealership this has happened. Never again! Horrible customer service. If I could rate with a 0, I would.

Not happy at all with maintenace department. A man named David kept saying GotYa every minute to me. Annoying. Then they told me I needed a front end alignment. On the bill wrote I requested it. No I was told I needed it. Another driver of car verified no signs of needing an alignment and it was just at AAA a week ago for a nail in the tire and they said all underneath the car looked fine. I believe AAA and bill.kidd was padding their pocket since no one else was there . it was super slow there.

The worst customer service ever! Horrible, prejudice people I notice how this really uptight guy Mike Ryan was horribly treating some of their staff members with not respect or dignity. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I would give the dealership and it's staff 5 stars, but the service department is awful. I've had two appointments and both have been a nightmare. The service representative named Savannah was overtly rude. Took me an hour to drop off my car and get a loaner. Never had that kind of experience at Mercedes. Find another Volvo service dealer, I sure will after today!

We looked for a car here and received the absolute worst service. We had a veterans discount but they wouldn’t accept the website approving of it. They asked for a specific discount code to provide it. Although it was only $1500, we expected better service to sell a car. At the end of the day we went to silver spring and got a 2019 T6 inscription XC60 for the same price including the discount compared to the T5 inscription they tried selling.

Absolute WORST service! 2015 V-60 took a full 5 months to repair after getting VCNA involved (burning oil). Car developed a sunroof leak during that time which dealership disputes. Service coordinator said leaking roof is a maintenance issue anyway. Mechanic did not check electrical systems after changing battery and returned car without navigation or stereo working; claimed it was not their fault. Did not offer to fix but suggested I purchase a new vehicle instead. Had to practically beg them to look at it. All this under my extended warrantee period. Will never buy another Volvo, let alone from them.
