On the last minute, I scheduled an appointment for an oil change with Michael who promptly was able to find availabiltiy for me on Saturday morning. When I arrived, Pablo assisted me with check-in. He also took the time to answer my questions and explain the additional service that my car would require. Overall, my service was completed in a timely manner. Although I live in Baltimore, I do not hesitate to drive out of the way to bring my car to this dealership because of the service employee's honesty.

Robert Mensah was probably the most attentive Service Consultant I have experienced. It was drizzling outside and he pulled the car under the covered portion in the center so that I would not get wet. He opened the door and then shook my hand. An example of a complete gentleman. He explained everything included in the A1 service and ensured my tire issue was investigated beyond just putting air in the tire. 100% satisfied.

Ok we didn't buy a car there. I made an inquiry on a car and got a self-introductory email from Kevin telling me the car was available etc. When I asked for an OTD price, he emailed me back and said the car was sold... both emails were within 30 min early in the morning, I could only say wow this car sold fast! Then 3 hours later he emailed again and car was still available. I don't know what is going on, but will not recommend to anyone after this experience.
Went to get my car serviced for the recall of the air bags and to get my shocks fixed. Leon took care of the whole thing effortlessly. He and his team members did a great job getting me back on the road! They were professional, understanding and absolutely accommodating to my needs for my vehicle. They even gave me a military discount which I never got at other Acura’s back in NY. Very thankful.. Will definitely be coming back for future services, thank you all!

I have taken my Acura 2015 TLX to Tishcer Acura on several occasions. The past two times Mike in the service department has helped me and my husband. False and Misleading!! Quoted me a price and tries to sneak in added fees, all that after hitting my credit report. Make sure you ask upfront about all fees/processing charges before letting them go through with financing. Can not trust this dealership anymore.
"Above and Beyond Service" I was looking for new 2019 Acura MDX on 'TrueCar' and received a quote from Sales Manager 'Aubrey Farrare'- Acura of Laurel-MD . His price was the best compared to other dealers. I scheduled my appointment for next day and visited the dealership. Good customer service is important to me. I received that at my recent visit to Acura of Laurel. The check-in was quick, the conversation regarding my service flowed smoothly. The service manager was personable and helpful.
We were casually looking for a used mid-size SUV and wanted to look at recent model Accuras. Outside the dealership we happened to run into Tony who dropped what he was doing and began showing us around. When he became aware of what we were looking for he wisely suggested to look at leasing a 2017 model. After completing a test drive, Tony took us inside and was most clear on the differences between purchasing a recent model versus leasing a new one. His offer seemed so clear after he went over the numbers and before you knew it we had completed all paperwork and he took as much time as we needed to learn all about driving this new vehicle. We were so impressed with his clarity of exposition and warm personality - putting us to ease knowing we were in good hands. The Tischer Dealership is most fortunate in having Tony on their staff. I have a 2012 Acura tsx and was having some minor cosmetic problems. I had talked to the warranty department regarding my issues and they were reluctant to assist me. The warranty department advised me to go to an acura dealership to look into my issue. The first dealership that came to mind was Tisher Acura of laural Maryland. I walked into the service department and was greeted by service consultant Mr. Leon Sampson. I told Mr. Leon my issue, and he immediately grab the Parts & Service Director Mr. Jeffrey Lee. I explained to Mr.Lee my problem, and within 1 minute he came up with a resolution to my problem! Not only did they fix the problem, they also fixed the part that could possibly be a problem in the future. I was displeased with Acura before i went into Tisher to see Leon and Jeffery. Now I am considering a new RLX for my future car and a new shop for my service needs. Thanks again Jeffrey and Leon, it was a pleasure working with you guys!

There’s nothing worse than an establishment that doesn’t know how to do business. I scheduled an appointment here for a service and was told I would receive a loner car. This is not near my home(about 45 minutes) however Chevy Chase didn’t have any appointments. Of course when I arrive I’m told a loner cannot be issued due to my service being minimal. Complete inconvenience. I would have to take an Uber $45 each way due to not having a loner. It may seem like a simple schedule conflict to them however this would have completely screwed up my day. Taking my car to Chevy Chase. Educate your staff and improve the communication in this facility.

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. The facility was clean and welcoming. As soon as I pulled up, I was warmly greeted by Jeremy to take in my info. No long lines or rude staff here! Jeremy was professional, courteous and above all, tried to resolve other issues I was experiencing with my car. He was knowledgeable and explained with care everything at the end of the service. Anyone coming from out of state with 2019 vehicle avoid this place. I was told from service adviser there is new owner and name of dealership will change. It became readily apparently employees may be disgruntled because there was imminent staff turnover and decided taking it out on me was the answer, that's only way I can explain it. There was no supervisor for service department or dealership supervisor available to call or talk to. Rude to me from not knowing why I was there; to arguing with me about service I requested, and asked why was I there. Furthermore told me dealership I bought car from is providing outdated information and unaware of what they are doing, regarding recommended service appointment, didn't pull up my appointment I spent time entering; kept asking why was I there despite insistence I need oil change and tire rotation. This guy literally argued with me. Absolutely horrendous service from one select Service Adviser who didn't give his name and also second service adviser who didn't provide his name but realized I was serious about filing complaint, attempted to roll out luxury treatment Acura owners are accustomed too as I left. I was spoken to disrespectfully and questioned as if I have never owed a car. I have filed a complaint with Acura Client Service and intend to speak directly with them because I would NEVER recommend this dealership. I have had folks stop me about how nice car is; go buy it elsewhere.

Wonderful service. They met me outside and opened my door for me. They explained all of the charges very throughly and efficiently. They took the time to answer any questions I had about my vehicle. They did a standard check of my vehicle in addition to the maintenance already completed to make sure everything was running properly. A complimentary car wash was added and it even looked like the detailed it. My wait time was going to be about 2 hours and they asked me if I needed transportation anywhere since I wasn't waiting. Marvelous service. Thank you.
Today i brought my car in for a transmission flush. This is the second time that i have had my car serviced by Tischer. The customer service is beyond extraordinary from the moment i pulled into the service bay until my departure. Please ask for Justin . He is was very quick polite and efficient with the entire process. Within 10 mins My car was checked in and i was in a loaner car and on my way. When i returned to pick my car up there was very short wait if any, Justin thoroughly explained everything in detail including what recommendations would be best for my car and its longevity. This was a really great experience and i will continue my visits to Tischer Acura in Laurel.
Kevin Handy, my sales consultant at Acura of Laurel, was great. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Given that I was in the market to purchase a car unexpectedly, he was very understanding of my current car situation. He was patient, accommodating, flexible, honest/trustworthy and fair. He answered all of my questions, and his willingness to work with me was something I appreciated most about him. Given that I encountered an unpleasant experience with another sales consultant at a Honda dealership in the DMV, working with Kevin and Aubrey was like a breath of fresh air. Overall, I had a great experience at Acura of Laurel.

Recently purchased a 2017 MDX from Tischer. Noah Black and Mike Goldring were absolutely amazing sales reps and made my experience an absolute joy..no haggling over price. Noah and Mike are very customer service oriented, knowledgeable and professional. They deliver on their promises. Prior to visiting Tischer Acura, I had visited another Acura dealership, and my had an awful experience. The other dealership wouldn't honor the true car price they originally sent me, stating it was sent in error. The other dealership left me feeling as if they didn't need my business. Tischer Acura truly appreciate their customers. They have a customer for life in me!!!
Recently had my truck die just before a trip up north. Don't like buying anything last minute. Did my research and found the ideal truck online at Tischer Acura in Laurel, Maryland. Spoke with Tony S. He said one other person considering it, but from out of state. I headed down right away. Tony gave me the red carpet treatment. He couldn't have been a better salesperson. He had accepted the truck in trade. So he knew the history and shared it with me. We took a drive, chatted and it was the best experience I have had with any dealership. We processed the paperwork that night, all done and I drove it home. Tony gave a call the next day to see how I liked the truck. I also needed to drive a check down to the dealer. We chatted again. Such a genuinely nice person. I would go to Tony again in a heartbeat.

Interesting experience so I went in to inquire about the price of a vehicle that was sitting on the lot, I was given a price about $32,000. I looked online and the same vehicle was priced at about $27,000, the two gentlemen in the management office Mike and some other guy immediately gave me 15 excuses as to why the numbers were different. They denied having any knowledge of anything like this and couldn't understand why an advertisement that had to have been approved by someone at Tisha Acura was being run now, coincidentally I looked about a week ago for that car on the Tischer website and AutoTrader and noticed that the car was still on their lot and had a lower price of about 26000 you tell me what to make of this....Mind you Im still looking to buy this vehicle, but my fear is, if I go back, they will make ALL attempts to stick me with bogus fees and fill me with lies.
Quick, fast, expedient, too many superlatives to describe the in and out experience I've had. Also with the added bonus that they're only less than 10 minutes from my house, I'll definitely be back.
I got hit with the old bait and switch from the service department. I had been getting my car serviced here for years (purchases here as well). Getting shotty service work was never the way and now I got my brakes done a month ago and they are staying they are half worn! WHAT!! Quoted one price and then pick up my car and it’s double! Definitely not good business! Seems the new takeover threw customer service out the window. In the market for a new car and I will not be buying at this new Acura of Laurel. Definitely telling my friends to stop going here for service & purchase. They are trying to cheat loyal Acura drivers.
I don't usually leave reviews, but im hoping this one the owner of the company reads. Let me start off by letting you know that myself and my family have purchased 8 vehicles in the past 3 years from this dealership (check your files to confirm). Last week I had an incident with my touch screen while adding an address to my destination, the screen just cracked and spider webbed, I thought it was odd and contacted the service department right away. After escalation to managers and Acura corporate they yet again denied my claim and said it was not covered under warranty. I then reached out to my salesperson (Tony) who then called the regional director of Tischer and all he was able to do is give me a 10% discount (the cost estimate was $2,000 By the way).....are you guys kidding me?? after this much business that we gave them they offered me 10%. Im officially done with this brand and this dealer because it seems that in a time of need for their customers they will just kick you to the curb.
Acura of Laurel Fort Mead gets a FIVE STAR rating!! I did not purchase our MDX from them but will definitely purchase our next Acura from this dealership. The service team members are very professional and kind. Our vehicle was making a noise that sounded like it was coming from the front of it. The technician could not find anything initially but after a second test ride and hearing the noise, he did not stop trouble shooting until he figured out what it was. Kudos to the service team!!! We are looking forward to purchasing our next Acura from this dealership in the near future.

My experience at Tischer has always been great. Recently, I decided to renew my lease with Acura. Upon walking into the dealership, I was greeted by Ramel. In discussing my needs and wants, he was very attentive and NOT pushy at all. He made my leasing experience great and I'm glad to have worked with him. I highly recommend that if you are wanting to purchase or lease an Acura to go see Ramel. He will definitely take great care of you.
Heartless and dishonest. They will lie to get you in the door and continue to lie. They claim to give military discount but they raise the price to give a false impression. I came based on a quote I received and thoroughly discussed prior to my arrival and when I got there they switched the terms up on me. I came there straight from work with my mother and two kids just to get lied to about a price.
Great experience. Greeted as soon as I arrived. All repairs thoroughly explained, and any available/applicable discounts were automatically applied. This will definitely be my home-base for repairs and maintenance to my vehicle.

My daughter needed a new car before heading back to school. I contacted a few dealerships and Tischer Acura was the first one to quickly locate a car that exactly matched my daughter's specifications. And they promised to have it ready the next day even though the car was outside of the local region. We went in to do the paperwork after negotiating the price over the phone with Tony Sia. The negotiation was actually quick and easy and definitely stress-free. It was a very good price too! The next day, my daughter drove home her dream car, a 2019 TLX with advance package and AWD. Simple as that! We are both very grateful to Tony for his invaluable help. He is very professional, knowledgeable, efficient, patient, and understanding, all-in-all an amazing sales pro. I visited this dealership for service, and let me tell you, I was treated like royalty, the atmosphere was very calm and peaceful the minute I walked through the doors. The guys in the service department were very friendly and nice. The customer service is phenomenal. Now days, great customer service sometimes can be hard to come by, unfortunately great customer service is not something you can train for, you have to be born with that skill, and those guys sure have that great skill. I am a loyal Acura owner, but the service at this place is abysmal!! I have tried, unsuccessfully, to talk to someone OTHER than the services department for the last 25 minutes and all I get is a vm, a hang up, or constant ringing
I purchased my vehicle in November of 2014 (2015 RDX) and have been taking my vehicle in for the required service every since. In addition, any questions or concerns that I may have has been addressed immediately and with utmost professionalism. I have an exceptional service rep (Michael Powell) who has gone above and beyond each and every time. His attention to details, patience, honesty, knowledge, attentiveness, calm presence and time management is truly appreciated. The customer service at this location is outstanding and I appreciate all that the service team does during my time.

I was in need a car as quickly as possible, and preferred a small SUV, as I commute to Washington, D.C., but required room for my growing family. I was greeted the second I walked in through the dealership doors by Monica, one of the sales associates. She was very attentive and showed me both the MDX and RDX models, as those were my preferred choices. She involved the sales manager early on, as I knew I would need some assistance in terms of price, warranties and features on the car. The team at Acura of Laurel was extremely efficient in identifying and meeting my needs, and I drove out of the dealership in my brand new RDX. The price was right, the team was stellar, and the warranty packages provide great coverage. Aubrey Farrare was the sales manager assisting and working with the deal, and Meagan Bailey was the business manager assisting with closing the deal. All three team members were great, and I am excited to continue my service with with Acura of Laurel!
I had great service for my MDX. They were able to give me a service appointment on the day I requested, checked in with me to confirm the service I was expecting and completed their work when they promised. The customer area is bright and clean with beverages and entertainment available while waiting. I will continue to use Acura of Laurel for my MDX.

Mike Powell is my go to guy. He offers outstanding service and listens to what my needs are. After years of experience with Acura in Laurel, MD, I am pleased with their customer service. What I am not pleased about is the fact that my history of service there has been deleted from the system under this new management. Good thing I still have some receipts that show previous work done on my car.
My daughter bought a car from Tischer Acura 3 weeks ago. At first, we were shuffled from one sales person to another because we were being serviced without waiting. I nearly went to my neighborhood Honda dealership to have keys programmed but I decided to drive all the way over. It was after work, beyond 430 PM, so I had the feeling it will be a close call to have both the parts dept. and service dept. have all the necessary resources together: the keys purchased, and cut, and programmed, but somehow someway it was in stock and a technician available to get me out the door within a decent wait period! So no complaints from me whatsoever. I just wish the dealearship was closer to me though but I'll be back for other service needs!

Do not take your car there poor customer service. I was quoted something completely different over the phone Versus the actual price of service charged . The service advisor Pablo was extremely rude, this was my first time will not return. I rather drive further if it means l get better service.

This was the first time I used the service department in the late afternoon so I wasn't sure how long I would have to wait. Poor service for over a week of trying to get estimates for parts and labor for a significant work effort - replacement of catalytic converter. I took me over a week to get an appointment and then no estimate for the work prior to arriving today. Like they wanted me to come in and just say yes to a price. I'm a reasonable person but never got reasonable customer service. Very disappointed as I have been going here for YEARS. Wont be back.

Fischer service department installed. Hitch on our 2018 MDX. It looks amazing! It was about $400 more than a Uhaul hitch, but is fully integrated to the rear bumper and low profile. Thanks for fast service and a wonderful install.

Wasn’t happy with service at my previous dealership. Came here with the same results. First time for routine service the oil filter was installed incorrectly or was bad. Had to come back a second time to get it fixed. Today took it back after another service for different/new issues that started since the service, and I was told I could not have a loaner car (after calling twice and being assured I would have one) and that I would have to pay for the new fix (was also told over the phone that they would correct their mistake and I wouldn’t be paying). Love my Acura but have had nothing but issues with customer service. Will probably be trading in my Acura because of the continued poor customer service I’ve had over the last 3 years, and going to a competitor w better service.
Best Acura dealer in the DMV area from my experience. I recently bought an Acura TLX from Tischer Acura. I had a very pleasant experience with sales representative Simeon Asaboro. The communication with him was transparent, price negotiation was less stressful than other places, and the whole experience was very pleasant. In the end, Tischer offered me the best price among all DMV Acura dealers.
Excellent service, comfortable customer waiting room, service performed at lower price than promised. Only minor complaint is that the wait was longer than expected.
This review is based solely on Tischer Acura's Service Department I typically take my car to Norris Acura in Ellicot City and they have never failed to provide top notch service. However, because I live in the area, I took in my car for a service to Tischer and the service was atrocious, to say the least. The reality is that, as the previous reviewer mentioned, they are far more concerned with servicing newer vehicles, especially if purchased from them. Once you take in an older model Acura, they truly have no interest in working with you, looking at your vehicle or properly fixing it. They are constantly trying to up-charge you, find reasons to sell you a new car, or cover up the shoddy work of their incompetent technicians/mechanics. Long story short, I took in my 2009 Acura TSX for a service in February 2017. I was told that I would need an inverter and new headlight HID bulb, which i paid almost $2,000 to fix. Fast forward to November 2017, my brother-in-law informs me that one of my headlights is out. Of course, I couldn't possibly imagine that it would be the same one I paid almost $2,000 for in preceding February. Due to time constraints, I took in the TSX back to Tischer February 2018. Next thing I know, I get a call saying that there would be another charge of approximately $1,900 to fix the EXACT SAME ISSUE that was supposed to have been fixed a year ago. I went back into the dealership and I was told "Oh the warranty is only for 1 year and you have exceeded that....blah blah blah." I eventually spoke to the Manager, Rick, who assured me that he could get a warranty extension from Acura to get the matter resolved. A couple of days later, Rick (manager), calls me and says "congratulations, Acura has agreed to extend the warranty to cover the labor and parts to fix the issue. However, if anything else is found outside of this issue that would be your responsibility." I agreed to the terms. The car was fixed, I got a call from the Representative, Mike, that everything was in great working condition and nothing else had been found. The bill totaled $00.00 and all was well with the world, or so I thought. Less than 2 months later, Tuesday, April 17, 2018, I notice while driving that my headlight was out. I pulled over and realized that YET AGAIN, IT IS THE SAME EXACT HEADLIGHT THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY FIXED. I immediately took the car to Tischer the next morning, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 and the representative, Rob, told me that while the inverter had been changed the last time, the technician had not replaced the headlight itself. I figured no big deal, change the headlight and we're good. Rob (representative) later left me a voicemail stating that I would, yet again, need to pay $1,900 to fix the SAME INVERTER, SAME HEADLIGHT, SAME PARTS. As one can imagine, at this point, the incompetency of the mechanics, technicians, representatives...etc, is glaring!! How does the same issue happen over, over and over again roughly within a year??!! I asked to speak again to Rick, the Manager, and I guess this time, Rick didn't feel as being as nice. In between being completely rude, disrespectful and cutting me off, he said that the reason the issue kept happening was because there was a crack in the lens of the headlight. Why wasn't this issue communicated last year or back in February, I asked??? Ricked raised his voice stating "oh yes, we did. I will not be fixing your car again. You have to pay for the repairs." At this time, I asked that the owner of the location give me a call and requested the number for Acura's Customer service. It is absolutely sad the level of incompetence and the lack of honesty at Tischer. It is clearly my fault for failing to go to Norris Acura when I first encountered the issue. I fully intend to pursue this with Acura and beyond that, if need be. I am certain that nothing was every fixed or corrected. To say I would not be returning to this location is a big understatement.
