I bought a Dodge 2500 Quad Cab on November 4th, 2003 from Lee Auto Mall in Auburn, Me. Today, over 10 years later is the first time it hasn't started for me. BTW, it is -32 degrees here in Minnesota this morning. Still, I am extremely happy with the service I had while in Maine, and I intend on returning to Auburn, Maine when I decide to buy another truck. That is just how great the staff is there. The name of the salesman escapes me at this time, but every time I visit the neighborhood there, he remembers me. Yes, I have his card in the truck.

So so so disappointed with the experience I had today . I went in asking to have a curtousy check on my engine and a break issue on my 2011 CRV which I bought 7 months ago from Lee . It took an hour and 15 minutes to take a peek (had 2 kids with me) and they charged me $99 just to loom at it! This is the 3rd car that I’ve bought from this location . I think I should be treated a bit better being a twice time return customer . I was given a quote of $475 I’d replace my back breaks ! That’s absolutely ridiculous. I think I’ve bought my last car from Lee

In response to our most recent sale of our 2016 Ford Focus with Kyle Hammel in Auburn. He was great, he really was. Despite my crankyness a couple times, he still was respectful, professional and even shared his Cheez Its and Famous Amos Cookies with my boys while we were closing the sale of the car. My very fist experience with Lee was horrible. My second experience was horrible. My third (last July) and my fourth (this time) was amazing. I feel Lee has made a complete 180 in the right direction. I really felt that they cared, I cannot express enough gratitude for what the team of Adam Lee, Dave Vickers, Andre Cushing and Gene went through for us back last July. But I feel that this time, a normal sale circumstances, that overall was a wonderful experience also. Even if we hadn't walked away with a car. I really do feel that Kyle and Craig went above and beyond to reach out to sources so that we could obtain financing. Kyle was also as flexible as he could be with our communication circumstances and was pretty prompt with responses despite that he was very busy. And he was very prepared so that we only had to lug our three children to Auburn with us once. They did an excellent job finding a car that fit our needs and our budget; and most importantly, I didn't leave there this time feeling as though I was cheated. I had a wonderful experience at Lee this weekend. I really needed a minivan to fit my growing family, I had gone to other dealerships and they were unable to work with my budget. I walked into Lee feeling like it was going to be impossible to get the van I wanted at my price. I met Derrick Hazen, who showed me the Honda Odyssey. We took it for a test drive and I loved everything about it. Derrick explained the features to me, I never felt pressured or overwhelmed. I did not feel like I was working with the typical "Car Salesperson" when I was talking to Derrick, it felt like he was more of a consultant, helping me to find the right vehicle to fit my needs. When we were ready to talk price, I was also completely satisfied with my experience. I drove out of Lee that day with the minivan I wanted at a price that was within the budget I had when I walked in. I would recommend Lee Auto to anyone. Ask for Derrick Hazen, he was wonderful!

Honestly I would never recommend anyone to buy a vehicle through Lee or Lee Credit Express. A year ago I bought a used Jeep Compass through Lee Credit Express. I was a idiot and do my proper research and really wasn't given a opportunity to negotiate the price. I was charged double the actual value of the car. And the vehicle has numerous issues. Would love to trade it in, but cant because of how upside down I am in the loan. Seriously don't buy from them, it's not worth it. I even tried to contact Lee to talk about trading in the jeep and was told no way because of how much I owe. So disappointed and wish I wasn't so naive when I made the original purchase!

Good pricing, great vehicle but lack of foresight made purchase more complicated than it should have been. Sales didn't check that transferring a towing hitch from old to new car might not work and forced me to buy a new hitch, although at a discount, and wait over 2 hours for it to be installed. This was unexpected after waiting over 3 months for new car to be built and shipped! Everyone very polite and pleasant however.

I bought a new Jeep at Lee Westbrook with exceptional customer service. I was told that I could go to Lee in Auburn for anything since I live closer to Auburn than Westbrook. The engine light came on 2 days later and Lee in Auburn couldn't or wouldn't get it in until June 2??!! I guess the trip to Westbrook isn't so bad. Lee Auburn, you had my business in the past but you have just lost it. Thank you for finding the time to get my Jeep in for service on the same day. And thank you for the 3 day loaner while the problems were sorted out. Shane was awesome, regularly updating me on the progress. I got the call that everything was all taken care, they would gas up my Jeep (150 give or take miles of road testing uses up the gas) and it could be picked up anytime. I was very happy to be back in the drivers seat. Until... I'm almost home and guess what??? Gas gauge on Empty!! Lee Auburn, still not sure you will get my business again.

Amazing! I went in not expecting to be approved for any vehicle to be honest. Risa came right out and met me outside, immediately made me feel welcome and assured me that she would do everything she could to get me into a vehicle that day! I told her I needed cheap and reliable. She never offered me a singe vehicle that I couldn't afford, and only discussed vehicles we both knew I could afford. We decided on one, I test drove it, loved it and drove away with it. Risa truly went to bat for me and she has my business for my life! I never once felt like I was sitting with a stranger who had their interests ahead of mine. I felt like I was sitting with my mom, and she was truly there for me. I would recommend Risa EVERYTIME!

Had recently bought a vehicle at Lee in South Paris. My wife's car had her engine light come on about a month after, so I thought I would give them the service. They ran a diagnostic on it and all they could find was low antifreeze. Filled the reservoir and sent me on my way. One week later, my wife has the heater core explode on her leg while driving sending hot antifreeze on her and through the car. She limped to the Lee in Auburn where the tech there could not believe that this was not discovered before. Called South Paris, told them what happened. Service manager assured me he would call Auburn to get details and call me back. 24 hours later and still no call. Will not be doing any business with Lee in South Paris again!!! Do not like getting lip service!

Over the last 13 years, Lee Auburn has proven to be a fabulous dealership! I was able to repair my credit via Lee Credit Express, which led me to return to purchase a new 2010 Wranger. Three years later, after solicitations for purchasing my 2010 Wrangler, I purchased a 2014 Wrangler. The best parts of the purchase was that I ordered a Wrangler to be built the way I wanted AND the payments went down by $100. Today, I returned to Lee Auburn to trade in my 2014 Wrangler for a 2018. I was given options to test drive, options for financing, and able to make a decision without any pressure to lease the Wrangler I drove. This saved me another $100/month on the payment! I will definitely recommend Lee Auburn to others!

Just purchased a new 2014 Honda Pilot. Besides knowing ahead of time that Honda makes a great vehicle, the experience we had at Lee was more than welcome. Our salesman, Jim Fournier, gave us a great experience with the shopping and final purchase. He was professional and literally bent over backwards to help us. We felt no pressure to buy and I feel that we got a great deal with both our trade-in and our new Pilot. And BTW, we love the new Pilot. We have already gotten to try it out in the snow and ice and it has performed as I expected a Honda to perform - GREAT. My husband and I went into the Lee Auto in Norway Maine just to see if we would get approved for a loan, to our surprised we were approved! Originally the loan company said we needed a much larger down payment so we wouldn't be able to get the SUV for a month. Rocky and Tony worked their magic to get me in my used SUV today. I got a call from the Augusta Lees, we went to the showroom, the sales person I spoke with on the phone was not in the showroom at that time. We talk with another sales person, and we did not get much in the way of help. We were looking at another car in the lot and he said you don't want that one . So went home and waited for a call from the showroom with another car. We got a call that the car was in, so we went up to test drive it . We got back to showroom , to talk numbers and they gave us a price and we said it to high , we told him what we were willing to pay , and the next day they said we could not get close to their number and they would even drop the price even a little. Not a good day , so we will not do any business them.

Terrible Service Department! I took my 2015 GMC Sierra in for warranty work and from the time I walked through the door, I received terrible customer service. They told me before they even looked at my truck that most likely nothing was wrong with it. Then, after looking at my truck, they told me that every single issue- which included issues with shifting, my touch screen being slow to respond, and some random squeaks in the leaf springs that you would expect from an old truck- were the result of my after market exhaust. They did fix anything! I am not a technician, but I know my transmission and touch screen are not related my aftermarket exhaust. The service department manager/ director told me that I should take my truck elsewhere if I thought something was wrong with it. So, I did! I couldn't be happier with Bill Dodge! I was greeted with excellent customer service and they fixed every single issue with my truck. They had me talk directly with a tech to let them know what was going on and even offered to have me show the tech what was going on with the shifting. Lee refused to let me show them what was going on with the shifting after they told me nothing was wrong with it.

LEE GETS ZERO ⭐️ FROM A LOYAL CUSTOMER I traded in my 2015 Jeep for a 2017 & asked to have the grill, angel halo headlights & fog lights removed & returned as they were a x-MAS gift from my 13 y/o son & I would give them back the original brand new grill & lights from Mopar. It was discussed & agreed to by Service & Sales as part of the deal. When I went in to bring the parts, my parts had not even begun to be removed as promised. I spent the next several weeks getting the run-around on who had them. I spent the last few days chasing the sales guy & sending him the receipts when I was finally told they were missing. After going in on Saturday, Ed, some manager person, met w/ me & stated he would write a check to cover the replacement of the items that they lost as it was their error. I could get the $ to replace them on Monday. Now, as I am attempting to collect the check as I was told, I am now being informed they have 1 of the 2 pieces of the grill so they will not reimburse now for that. I asked how I was supposed to attach it to th e vehicle. The response from Ed was “I don’t know, you said grill”. I explained that both pieces were needed & that BOTH PIECES are the grill~like buying a PAIR of shoes but only getting 1. He still is refusing to cover the $ then stated he was doing ME A FAVOR by even attempting to fix their error!!!! I have bought 6 Jeeps from them @ +$35,000 & will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER go there again or refer anyone!

Had recently bought a vehicle at Lee in South Paris. My wife's car had her engine light come on about a month after, so I thought I would give them the service. They ran a diagnostic on it and all they could find was low antifreeze. Filled the reservoir and sent me on my way. One week later, my wife has the heater core explode on her leg while driving sending hot antifreeze on her and through the car. She limped to the Lee in Auburn where the tech there could not believe that this was not discovered before. Called South Paris, told them what happened. Service manager assured me he would call Auburn to get details and call me back. 24 hours later and still no call. Will not be doing any business with Lee in South Paris again!!! I went there and found a car I liked so I did the paperwork with the finance department and I was approved by one of Lee auto's banks with a 18 % A.P.R. I was also told my credit score was 605. I backed out at that point because just days before that I was approved by my bank with only a 10.75 A.P.R. and my credit score is 650. I also backed out because I continously asked the sales guy about an extended warranty. I was told everytime that there was an extended warranty but was never told what the warranty consisted of. Earlier this week I was at MARC MOTORS IN SANFORD MAINE and that's when I found out that my credit was ran at twelve different banks by LEE AUTO. The best deal LEE AUTO could come up with was 18 % A.P.R. for a 2014 Chrysler 200 that was pre-owned by two different owners. Needless to say I found a 2016 Nissan altima at MARC MOTORS IN SANFORD MAINE with 7,000 Miles on it with a bumper to bumper warranty for 30,000 miles. Plus a 100,000/10 year power train warranty with a 7.5 % A.P.R never at lee auto will you get a deal like I did at MARC MOTORS IN SANFORD MAINE. Lee auto just wants to steal your money. They say customer service is their number one concern. The sales guy even went as far as giving me his personal cell phone number. DON'T BE FOOLED, LEE AUTO IS A SCAM. I have screenshoted this entire reveiew if this review is censored or removed I fully intend to seek legal action for violating my first amendment rights.

UPDATE: After my review I was contacted by Ed who offered to get me out of the vehicle. I am not sure what changed their minds, but I am extremely grateful that they did the right thing. Ed went above and beyond to make the transaction simply. He even accommodated my request to have the car picked up so I didn't have to drive for another 4+ hours. THANK YOU to all who had a part in making the situation right. Now to start my search for another car! WARNING: Sold me a 2015 Honda Accord Coupe (deal done from afar) and said it had never been smoked in. When I went to pick it up I thought the car smelled stale but again was told that the car had not been smoked in. I am sensitive to smoke (it became apparent after running the heat for awhile that this car most certainly had been smoked in...ALOT). I feel sick after driving it. I asked if they accepted returns as other dealers do after I drove it twice and had it in my possession for 3 days and they would not. Ed offered to have the interior cleaned-which I had done, but that only masked the odor for 3 days until the cleaning solution settled. VERY SAD business if you can't stand by a vehicle you sold just a few days prior. I called the GM who didn't even have the courtesy to return my call. DISGUSTING to take advantage of good honest people. Lee is DEFINITELY NOT FOR ME! I will seek a consumer advocate and file with the BBB while I continue to feel lousy every time I drive it. DISHONEST. Heed my warning and take your hard earned money elsewhere. Risa Paquet was my sales rep and she talked a good game about what a good deal it was and how the owner meticulously took care of the vehicle...utter nonsense.

The first night, I arrived right at close, but Blake stayed much later than needed to speak with me. I went there and found a car I liked so I did the paperwork with the finance department and I was approved by one of Lee auto's banks with a 18 % A.P.R. I was also told my credit score was 605. I backed out at that point because just days before that I was approved by my bank with only a 10.75 A.P.R. and my credit score is 650. I also backed out because I continously asked the sales guy about an extended warranty. I was told everytime that there was an extended warranty but was never told what the warranty consisted of. The best deal LEE AUTO could come up with was 18 % A.P.R. for a 2014 Chrysler 200 that was pre-owned by two different owners. An interesting experience. Still not sure if I’ve been taken for a ride. The salesman Mike K. was nothing more than a gentleman; however he got me into the car I wanted to. The sales managers that take over after that have been a mixed bunch. I’m very happy they got me into my GTI! The dealership definitely took me for a ride on the warranty, but I asked for it. Good people but they know how to take advantage of people, so don’t go in as eager to make a deal as I was. They play the game. Beware if you’re not willing to participate.

My wife and I had a horrible experience here while shopping for a new car, we didn’t know exactly what we were looking for so we browsed around for a bit until an employee came over to assist us, his name is Jason and at first he seemed overly enthusiastic and ready to help us with whatever inquiries we had, but soon after we told him we didn’t really know what we were looking for and we were just browsing he immediately changed his tone and was very standoffish and short with his answers and didn’t seem altogether that knowledgeable on the vehicles you guys had in your lot, he was trying to direct us to vehicles we had no interest in and belittled my husband and I after every question like we were idiots, I don’t understand why you have people like Jason working for you, I was deeply offended and appalled at the way he treated us, so we took our business elsewhere, shame on you Jason and lee auto.

This review is for Lee Honda but since it doesn't show up when you google Lee, I figured I'd post it to the Automall result: Not willing to work for a fair price on new vehicle or trade in. Trade appraisal is all computer based and they were unwilling to adjust value by small amount and lost our sale and business all together. New car prices are highest around. Huge waste of time.

Went for a regular service, oil change and tire rotation. Was told it'd only take about an hour. One hour and 45 minutes later i was finally able to leave. I appreciate that they washed my car for me but when it's only 17 degrees out with a snow storm happening may not be the best time for such luxuries.
